Go for it. My current gf lost about 60lb in her early 20's and looked excellent. Still looking good in her early 30's. Especially if she's going to be a fwb there's nothing wrong with seeing what she's working with.

Go to AA. Find a group where the majority of them aren't attending because they are court ordered to do so.

It's best to not ltr a single mom but they can be fun when the kids are dumped off at grandma's. Kinda like a teacher. Usually they are a train wreck but act like wild animals when the kids aren't around.

Been like that for ages, man. It wasn't much different when I was in college a little over twenty years ago. Accept them for what they are and have fun. Wishing things were different won't change anything. I taught myself game and never looked back. Some of the most fun times in your life can be had in college.

Your triceps make up the bulk of your arm. Close grip bench, dips, skull crushers, triceps extensions with the cables, etc. Big triceps will complement your biceps.

Just to make the interaction bearable? Get good at asking them questions. Most everyone loves talking about themselves. If you keep them engaged and ask good questions and actually pay attention to what they say they will walk away thinking that they have just had the best conversation in a while. Eventually you may find that you have more in common with more people than you first thought.

There's awesome advice here. In regards to the comments regarding AA...90 meetings in 90 days is great advice. If you live in a decent sized city this should be easy. Different groups and even different meeting times at the same location have a variety of people attend. I found that I preferred attending a group where most of the people were not on probation. That way you have peers who actually are there because they want to be. Listening to people bitch about their probation officer, judge, ca…

Either establish yourself as a reliable employee at the pharmacy with the goal of having them help with education to become a pharmacist, or start learning a trade. Plumbers, millwrights and electricians make great money and there's a serious need for the trades.

No. I've had women help themselves to grabbing my upper arms and shoulders without even introducing themselves first. I'm 5'11" 178lb. I think my arms were around 16.75" at my prime last year. 43yrs old. How do you act out in public? Guys who don't lift or groom well regularly have girls falling on them. If they are putting out the right attitude.

Just thinking about one of my last gf's. She friendzones all her ex's. Now I know why. She's currently in a "happy and invested" relationship. Been about two and a half years since we broke up and last month she was texting me about how we had unfinished business in the bedroom. I'm not trying to be negative, just be aware that there's some kind of reason she stays in touch with her ex. I also thought she'd never be the kind of girl to do those things. Her game is just really good so she's very …

Get out immediately. I went through this about 10 years ago. Who was a cool girl ended up destroying my property, attempting to cut me off from family and friends. Got bit. Hit, scratched, tires slashed. Let her be someone else's problem. She will destroy your life.

Women will always be around, while this special time in your life and your ability to compete at a high level won't. Just my two cents: I was in a similar position. My high school track coach said I was fast enough to make the team at the college I attended. I chose house parties and chasing women instead. I remember the day I bailed on a new friend who also wanted to run track in college. We were going to go to tryouts but I chose not to go. Always kinda regretted it.

Focus on both, but learn how to balance your time correctly. Get over the fear of rejection. Learning sales will help in both your personal and professional life. Don't take yourself so seriously, have fun and be present in the moment. Good luck!

If you have a significant amount of money in your accounts you may want to start withdrawing it and hiding the cash. Then start attending AA and/ or gambling addiction support groups for several months. Have the chairperson sign your attendance sheet that you keep for your records. If there's a casino near you withdraw money from their on site atm and keep the receipts. If you get divorced and the judge wants to seize your assets you will have proof that you drank and gambled it all away. You wi…

You have a lot of work to do yet and lots to learn. I'm 43 and have been lifting off and on since I was 13. I'm still learning. Jeff Cavalier has a great YouTube channel and I've learned tons. What's worked best for me is efficiency in my workouts. About 45 minutes each session, 4-5 days a week. Getting enough sleep, not drinking alcoholic beverages, and paying attention to my diet. Proper form with as much weight as you can handle. At this point in my life staying injury free is my goal. I coul…

Damn. That is a blast from the past. Nuked her family. Her teenage son won't speak to her. That's not entirely true. He calls and texts her how much he hates her sometimes. She's seeing a guy from her hometown now. Lives in an apartment. She is trying to help her new man get his tree service off the ground. It's been interesting to follow.

Give it a year or two to finally hear the rest of the story. Commit yourself to growth. In that year or two you may reconsider calling these people friends. You might eventually consider them withholding their knowledge of her hooking up, and attempts to hook up as a betrayal. In the end, she wasn't yours. Just your turn.

Yes, I've been cheated on several times as well. She's not yours it's just your turn. No reason to be bitter or cynical about it.

If you don't think college is your thing then another idea would be to get hired into a company that you think you like and work your way up. Then if you find an area that requires college classes or training the company will pay for it. I have a four year degree and found that the work associated with my major didn't suit me. I've done plumbing and millwright work and enjoyed both. Right now I'm doing an electrical apprenticeship. The company is paying for my classes. I'll have an associate deg…

I was in college in the late 90's, for the wrong reasons. It was a waste of time and money for me in that regard. I unwittingly learned a lot of rp truth and self taught game though. That being said, I would not go to college again if I could go back. I'd rather have gotten into the trades and become a millwright or master electrician.

The snapchat is a red flag, and trust your gut. Eventually she's going to mess up bigger than that. One of my ex's accidentally sent me a couple texts meant for another guy where she explained some exercises for making her pussy tight and how tight it is. I responded to her and was like ok, who was this really meant for? She quickly changed the subject and never addressed the issue. In hindsight I should have dropped her ass right then. My mom did the same thing, until she lost her job she had in a small company that she worked for years. I used to always tell her I haven't found a woman who I could trust to have kids with. Then she ended up getting another job and had to work with women my age and younger. She finally admitted that today's women are garbage, and doesn't nag me anymore.

What age range are you in? What are your true fitness goals? In my opinion if you are maintaining abs to get girls you may want to reconsider why you're lifting. You probably spend more time with your shirt on than off. Wide shoulders and big arms will make more of an immediate impression on the females anyway. Lift heavy and bulk for 6 or 8 months. As long as you keep an eye on your nutrition you should be good in maintaining low body fat.

Never been married and I have no kids, but I am only a few years younger than you. Thanks for sharing your story. I used to get a bit down on myself for not being able to keep a woman around for more than 2 years. Now I'm glad it never happened. Your story isn't unusual. One thing I would worry about is if she's cheating on you, as a single guy in good shape, I know that married women between early 30's and early 40's cheat rampantly. I dated a woman who worked for CPS for a while. She and her colleagues were generally unethical. I remember quite a few times when I was out drinking with her and her friends they would laugh about terminating parental rights. This was in many cases the parents were doing their part to follow the system. One of the last times I saw her she bragged about terminating parental rights "because the mother was a bitch and they are just trash anyway". That didn't sit well with me.

Recently. I was sharing some stories about two specific ex's. Dated one about 12 years ago and the other about 9 years ago. One rampantly cheated on me, like with no shame whatsoever. The other also cheated and was physically and emotionally abusive. I'm so glad I moved on and see things how they actually are these days. The man I am today would despise the man I was back then. Keep improving and learning every day! Life is so much better today.

I ran a similar route in my 20's as well. Once I was in my late 20's and early 30's I realized that sex with every woman I could get was pretty empty. Even though it's fun every now and then it's not my focus anymore. Focusing on your career and keeping your looks up you won't have a problem getting laid. I'm in my early 40's now and still get it regularly even though I haven't been in a ltr for over two years. Just find the balance that works best for you. In my opinion, if getting pussy impede…

Keep lifting heavy, and start running a couple miles a day. Get your diet on point between protein, carbs, and calories in total. You might not get super cut but you will keep growing muscle and lose some fat. I'm about the same size as you are and I try to stick to intermittent fasting and consuming around 2500-2700 calories and 170 grams of protein. I feel strong as ever and am really seeing veins in my shoulders and arms. Still working on the abs though. About 8 years ago I did the same thing…

I too learned to cook because my mother hated doing it and the quality of the food she made showed it. I'm ok with that because now I'm good at it and enjoy a lot of delicious meals that I make for myself. Nothing pisses a woman off more than telling her I'm a strong independent man who doesn't need a woman because I earn my own money, cook, clean, and do my own laundry, in addition to car repair and home improvement work. They can only say well....what about my companionship? Lol

Not being able to get hard is a big red flag for you. You're obviously not that into her. You may want to consider just breaking it off with her. Plus the more times you can't get it on with her the more chance she's going to monkey branch anyway. Not the same exact situation but one of my ex's used to not really enjoy sex for more than 10 or 15 minutes, she just wanted to get off then get me off and be done. Agree, the odds are low. For myself, I've found I've always been better off not in a relationship. That doesn't mean that I don't get some pussy on the regular though. I wouldn't say I'm a "10" by any means although women generally find me quite attractive. At the age of 41, I've seen too much to trust any female. I'm not dogging on them. Keep carrying on like this and get your heart ripped out a couple times or three by the "good girls". That should make you realize there's really no such thing. In my opinion you're over analyzing. No matter what your position or hers you should still have the same confidence. The first woman I dated who earned more than me eventually held it over my head. I overheard her telling her friends that she was my sugar momma. For some reason it pissed me right off and I broke up with her a week later. She is still butthurt over it years later. I agree with another commenter, she's probably had at least a few affairs and may be good at covering her tracks. Or her husband knows she fucks around and stays in it because of the kids. Hard saying. If she really wants to fuck she'll find a way. When I worked retail I would say some of the best lessons were: Patience. Conflict resolution. How dishonest some people are. Problem solving through asking the right questions. Never say you're "sorry", it's a submissive word. How to persuade and sell. Most people have no idea what they want. How to be assertive and firm. How to talk to strangers and find common ground.

My last ex and I got banged up in a car accident and were both laid up for a little over two months. One of the reasons she gave for the breakup was she got fat and I got skinny. I work a labor intensive job and lift in the gym as well but obviously couldn't work out with a broken knee and ribs. They are gathering intel for damage control resulting from "me too". I predict in a year or two they will be complaining no men are giving them attention and will be writing and making videos about "what's wrong with men, why won't they date us?" Twice in the last week two women have uttered the phrase "toxic masculinity" and I countered with red pill knowledge (don't use the words red pill with a woman) and they agreed with everything I said. Point made, I cut the interactions short and made no…

I don't know if highly sensitive are the right words, but in most situations I try to read everyone in the room. My situational awareness is usually on point and I tend to notice things about people around me that others miss. In that respect I'm very sensitive to what is going on around me. There's more to the story about this particular guy and there were too many red flags before I met him. For example he told my ex's friend that he was working in the Carolinas after the last hurricane and he…

Long story short I got jealous of another guy that was fucking her best friend. He was a total fucktard and a liar. He still had the girls fooled but I could see right through him. So we were out drinking together and the guy got kicked out of the bar twice and tried to start a fight. She kept trying to keep the peace and coddling her girl and the douche. I lost my temper and was basically saying fuck that guy let's just leave his dumb ass here. All hell broke loose after that and of course I wa…

One of the women I know sleeps around a lot and she's overweight and about a 4 in attraction. She sleeps with the most high value guys she can get out of the available guys that will fuck her. She used to always say she was addicted to the sex and I lead her through a series of questions. For her, it's really not about the sex. It's about the attention. Attention is the female currency. She's no different from any other female.

Short answer, yes. They are always wanting to optimize their hypergamy. Especially if they are bored with the guy they are with. My last ex I was seriously dating did the whole "celebrity crush" question with me. I offered my answer and added that there's no way I'd jeopardize my relationship with her for the celebrity chick. Sounds like the underlying problem is that you are afraid of being a fake. Work on your comeback story, you got this. You can be real and own your situation. There was a period of time when I was super heartbroken and hollow inside, was laid off for almost a whole year and also had my driving license suspended. I still got plenty of female attention. For a while when a woman approached me I'd tell her my name and literally say I'm heartbroken, unemployed and can't drive. They didn't care. Most p…

I lived there from 2001-2006 and I loved it. Buckhead was crazy back then, like spring break every weekend. Once she got to college the year after she immediately broke up with me and began riding the cc. Years later, I'm not behind a desk. I do physical labor (plant maintenance) and I love my job. It seems to me some of the most thirsty guys are the ones who have been treated like complete garbage their whole lives by women. Some guys just never learn, it's like being in the friendzone is their favorite place to be.

I have to agree with another post on the fact that smartphones have corroded everyone especially women. I remember when people were just getting email and dial up service. Getting a girl's email address was cool. I'd say that the ability to text message has greatly increased the ability to have secret relationships and instant/constant attention.

My dad was a drunk that was never around. He was either at work, the bar, or drinking with friends. He was way closer to his friends kids than my brother and I. There's people out there that love my dad and think of him as another dad or uncle. Lol my brother and I saw him once in a while and when we did he was threatening to beat our asses for who knows what and generally being a total fucker. I started lifting when I was 13, and still do many years later. Exercise always has a positive effect on the mood and confidence level. Even in my pua days I really didn't associate lifting with picking up women. Large or small muscles it really didnt matter. Arguably yeah, I looked good especially in my early and mid 20's. I stopped lifting for most of my 30's and got skinny again. Now I lift mostly to stay in shape for my job.

In my 20's and early 30's most of my ex tried to come back after about six months to a few years after treating me like shit and breaking up with me. The guy they monkey branched to were more exiting than me but they usually didn't work, had drug and drinking problems, or were abusive. Fuck that I hope those guys were worth it because I never took them back.

Women are more violent than men, check out Stefan Molyneux presentation on domestic violence. In my own relationships I've been physically assaulted, and emotionally and verbally abused. They do what they want because they know it's illegal for you to fight back. Others are turned on sexually by the physical violence.

In addition to hypergamy I have to also point out that there are also women who prefer the adventure of conquering guys who are the opposite of you. One ex I dated while I was doing very well for myself as far as money and career, loved to fuck unemployed guys while I was at work. Finding out I got cheated on sucked, to find out it was with guys who weren't doing shit but collecting unemployment and hanging out in bars, that was even worse.

Many women are master manipulators. An ex of mine was world class. One of her greatest hits was having me invite friends and family to go camping for my birthday weekend. About 3am the morning of the day we were supposed to meet up here she goes with the bullshit. She says that I really should go alone, and she doesn't want to get in between my family and I. This is after she spent months bitching about my not involving her with my family. The culmination was I cancelled on everyone and had a te…

I've been devastated by my first girlfriend and another one I had in my late 20's. Both were 3+ year relationships. I handled them both almost the same, I didn't understand what was going on. It was intense pain. Both times I drank enough alcohol for a lifetime and engaged in self destructive behavior. Eventually I woke up and decided to never feel like that again. Once I got through the red pill rage I started picking up on some old goals. I'm a much more squared individual with a better foundation. I think the best way to explain it is that I'm doing things for the right reasons. For my reasons. Not to impress a woman or because she said so. Some days are a grind, I admit. That's just the way it is. I read more and invest in myself by gaining new knowledge and skills.

My mom used to pressure me to have kids. I liked to say that I haven't found a woman who I trusted to have kids with. Awesome attitude, man. I am almost 40 and wished I had mgtow in college. Life sure would have been different. Sounds like you are on a great path. She's starting the fights because she's got a fuck date with another guy and needs to start the fight with her man to get him out of the way. I think that most people equate a man having a wife or girlfriend as a man who's "safe". Single men are often portrayed as unhinged ticking time bombs or some kind of social misfit. Therefore having a female partner is the social proof that you are an alright guy. My words are a bit jumbled here, hopefully my point comes across. I second this advice. I work out or run, get my haircut every three weeks, stay clean shaved or groom my beard if I grow one out for winter. I also try to dress well with what I have. Point taken. Yes he's totally delusional. He thinks it's all his fault. When he first started telling me about it I asked a few questions about it and the very first suggestion I said was that he needs to get that bitch out of his life. Wasn't married but cohabitated. Very similar story. She was running the streets while I was at work. Of course it was all my fault for working. In regards to the 2nd edit, a ex fwb worked for child protection services. She was also abused when she was young. She quit the job because she couldn't handle seeing the cases she had to deal with. Thanks for the information, now I understand things a little better. Of course I can't know what may have happened so long ago it definitely points to abuse at a young age. It's a possibility, I never thought about it that way even after almost 10 years have passed since I met her. I've done a lot of thinking trying to figure it out. It's hard to tell, she disclosed a lot to me. Her sister was also very wild and displayed the same behavior. Drugs, sex, manipulation. It's definitely a possibility that the mom was involved. She definitely was not a positive role model as for being a good woman.

The ex in this case was "raped" in college by some members of a sports team. Actually I think more accurately she got gangbanged and the video got out so she pressed charges. Her mother was a total cunt. Idk about earlier abuse. She did have to regularly move to different high schools because she had a habit of fucking the king jocks in school. The other girls hated her and made her life hell for upsetting their heirarchy.

I don't know the whole story, she would have been maybe 27 at the time. She was with a group of really drunk people at our local bar. I happened to be there as well and one of the guys within the group kinda tried to tell me what a piece of shit he thought she was. He hinted around the specific act. Some aspects of pua work and work well. When I was in my early 20's I was essentially a pua. This was before such a thing as "pua" existed as we know.
