3 lessons from ballroom dancingHuh. I better turn in my certificates of merit. There must have been an error. I shall report my lack of skills immediately to the the amateur competitions I have been to immediately. Why have I wasted 20 hours a week in ballroom and tango for the last decade only to find out I have no skill!? Do you even lead? A proper lead is aware of his weight, his partners weight, their center of gravity, if there is any flex in their frame, etc. He then applies pressure from the chest and whatever the hell… | /r/TheRedPill | 06/02/14 11:30 PM
3 lessons from ballroom dancingI also love to let them wander off into the woods by themselves when they refuse to follow. Usually it only takes once. Someone who back leads.... Well they don't get asked again. Only ran into a handful women who were really bad at it though. I find if the guy has a weak (not to be confused with subtle) lead they will be back led more. A guy who locks it down and holds frame ( both physically and otherwise) does not suffer the same amount of back leading. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/02/14 08:56 PM
3 lessons from ballroom dancingIn many years of dance I have only met maybe one woman who could actually not follow and one that was just too head strong. The first was clinically diagnosed with crippling mental challenges. She simply could not relax in such a public display and so could not follow. Her nervousness was too much in control. WAY too insecure. The second was simply too dominant and kept telling me to lead while ignoring all but the most aggressive forcing of my frame. The fact that I grabbed another woman and ma… | /r/TheRedPill | 06/02/14 08:51 PM
3 lessons from ballroom dancingBullshit. If your frame is locked down and you are leading you will move the woman despite her knowledge. I find the inverse of what you are saying to be true. New women can be led because they do not know patterns and thus can not anticipate and misread. An intermediate dancer will try to run on auto pilot and assume she knows what you want her to do without actually listening. Somewhere in advanced stages they regress back to actually following the lead and not the pattern. | /r/TheRedPill | 06/02/14 08:26 PM
Why Marry? - Evil WeaselLong time idler... First time commenter here. Author comes off as pretty jaded. My alarm bells always go off when an MRA or feminist are so passionate with sweeping comments that it feels like they have been damaged in some way and their activism is lashing out since they can not overcome who ever or what ever the primary aggressor was. The sticking point for me was the comment about women not cooking, cleaning, or being sexy. My american wife went to cooking school and still cooks the majority … | /r/MensRights | 27/07/12 06:35 PM
