In Australia rape is anything inserted anywhere against your will. Everything else is sexual assualt.

But that’s literally a man with that physique. Unacceptable in a woman but presumably we are supposed to drop our knickers for the same physique on a man? Double standards much?

I think I’ve just had an epiphany. Woman mature faster than men because most men never mature. Wow.

The worst part is you think you’re okay because it’s been 20 years as friends, and then they go and ruin it. So who can you trust? Not men, that’s for sure.

My daughter was pushing her baby brother in the pram at a shop the other day and she lightly bumped a man who wasn’t paying attention. How hard is it to watch out for an oncoming pram and adjust, especially when driven by a 4yo? She was doing a great job, by the way, this dick was just taking up the entire aisle and we needed something right where he was. His reaction was appalling. Yes, ideally she shouldn’t have bumped his foot but it was as though she had outright assaulted him. I stared him …

I’m a solo mother of two, via a clinic. I’ve managed without any immediate or extended family. It’s been tough but gets easier every month the older they get. Definitely worth doing. You’ll be modelling excellent adult skills and relationship skills to your children. There are some really active FB groups depending on which country you’re in. Our local SMBC group has fortnightly catch-ups and the children are all friends. We’ve found about 50 families so far in an extended area of about 200,000.…

Only through a clinic. In Australia all donors are required to be ID release donors which means at 18 the child will legally told the details of their donor. There’s no such thing as anonymous anymore. Some donors are open to contact earlier too, and any relevant medical details are exchanged as they occur.

I seem to recall that Tom Jones said the original pair of knickers thrown at him were rather sedate mumsy knickers, and had been used that evening. He spoke about how much it meant that they threw their non-sexy knickers instead of expensive flimsy lingerie, and how much sexier that actually was.

Wedding marketing is directed at women BECAUSE we benefit less from marriage. Wearing a pretty dress and feeling special for a day is about the highlight of a marriage for a woman, it seems. Shit goes downhill fast after that.

Moana is the only one my daughter can watch in peace without Mama running a feminist discussion alongside. And I’ve just realized Coraline is a Disney Princess too so I need to look in to that storyline and see what’s happening. I still can’t come at Barbie though.

Some countries don’t pay at all, and I think that’s better as it suggests at least a certain level of altruism in the donor. The US donor market is appallingly mismanaged, but Australia where I am has reasonable laws and expectations. A lot of the horror stories you hear about donor conception don’t happen here, or if they do it was because they used a US donor. I have 2 donor children to 2 different donors done through a clinic. Nope. She’s approaching 90 and is nigh blind. I take her when I can, and her daughter takes her sometimes. She used to have another elderly couple that took her fortnightly but they moved. I used to be able to take her more often but my schedule changed and now she doesn’t want to come when I’m available on the chance that her children come past. Between that and her trying to catch the damn plague at every opportunity, I think she’s made up her mind to die at this point.

That’s a little different, but I’m still proud of you! You are strong and you will raise a strong but wise young man. I avoided the degenerate father figure entirely by using a donor, and in a country where payment is illegal so altruism would have played a strong part in his donation. There are more of us every day deciding to start our families without the pressure of “settling”. My philosophy is that if the right man comes along then he’ll love all of us, but I’m not holding my breath at this…

So damn true. I’m reading so much on this sub and seeing it apply to my friends and family too. It’s a bit of a worry, but values are values and I can’t live with myself if I sacrifice my values for the sake of relationships. Boundaries are boundaries and they apply to everyone.

I’m honestly not sure they do know. I think they are beginning to have doubts about their programming which is why they are speaking up and complaining, but to take the next step into standing up for yourself and breaking the cycle is so damn tricky if you’ve never known anything else. I reckon they’re on the cusp of figuring it out. And I hope they do. The more of us that manage to escape, the fewer will see patriarchy as their only option.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/11/20 10:49 PM

I mean, I kinda agree with you but I think it’s important to acknowledge that they are victims of their own upbringing too. It’s so hard to break that cycle, especially when 99% of society are telling you that’s just how it is.

I’m here living the sweet life of a solo mother by choice! It’s incredible to have these two miracles and know that they’re not being brought up in a home of misery and misogyny. Mine practically reaches down to my knees down my thighs if I don’t keep it in check. While I haven’t had cause to see many Asian ladies naked, I don’t get the impression they are dealing with quite as much of a forest as I am blessed with apparently descending from werewolves. No shame either way, we’re just not all dealing with the same situation. I like to keep mine vaguely tidy but I do it for me, not for men.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/11/20 10:32 AM

I had a hard week this week. Walking past the florist I saw my favourite flowers are in season so grabbed a bunch. While I was paying for them the lady noticed I also had a box of doughnuts from a nearby shop and asked who I was surprising with these gifts. Looked her in the eye, thoroughly unrepentant, and told her ME.

There are plenty of more or less legal ways to avoid it. Falsify your income, move countries. I’ve seen it done, and I’ve read men’s forums where they discuss methods.

No, no they don’t. There are myriads of ways they can shirk their duties.

I hear you but I had a friend who had a newspaper delivery. He said it was the nice houses in the nice suburbs that never paid their delivery bills. There’s definitely a correlation between the privileged and they way they got there.

I dunno. The previously non creepy dude across the road from me offered me his dick the other day. Out of the blue, 40 years my senior. Not in a home, living perfectly independently. I reckon it’s like alcohol, old age and dementia only expose what’s already there.

At this point I’m reasonably certain it’s because none of them know how to do laundry, and they’ve run out of clean shirts. When a couple break up, the man is remarried within a year. Every time. The women? Not so much.

Lately I’ve been discovering how disappointed I am with so many women as well. Crappy male-enabling behaviour from so many women. I was propositioned crassly by a dirty old man who’d clearly played the long con for 8 years by pretending to be a friendly neighbour. About 30 years older than me, and married. Not only propositioned but he tried to enter the house with my spare key while he knew I was alone for the first time ever in 2 years (child having a sleepover) and having a bath. He tried to …

My grandmother (102years) won’t talk about it but apparently she had to arrange to be caught in fragrante delectico (is that the phrase) with a CAMERA to take pictures as evidence so she could divorce her abusive husband. She basically forced him to divorce her. Imagine having to go through that just to get you and your children to safety. Imagine what that would have done to your reputable in that kind of world. She’s amazing.

But they need to want to bother investing in themselves. It’s so much easier to marry a maid. A friend of mine is going through a very rough time with her dead beat husband. I told her it wasn’t her job to train him to be an adult. I think it blew her mind.

I was just checking if they were making an honest and slightly funny joke about not knowing what emotional labour was, while demanding emotional labour from us. It was genuine, my friend. And kinda funny if that’s what they meant.

If there are good male role models out there they’ll show themselves whether they’re your child’s father or not. Many children have zero good role models so having at least one and a chance of others is still coming out ahead.

When I booted my deadweight husband I was AMAZED at how the household budget changed. He broke so many dishes and wasted so much food. He’s been gone about 9 years now and I still have some rolls of paper towel from that era. Just nowhere near as many kitchen disasters to clean up from. Madness.

I thought that thread was fascinating. I didn’t dare point out that 95% (made up statistic but can’t be far wrong) of total murders and then their 68% of total suicide figures just shows that men are just violent and brutal for the majority. Maybe THAT’S what needs addressing.

This is the first time I’ve noticed the word femcel. Strikes me as hilarious because dick is so freely available, it’d be damn near impossible to be celibate purely based on being female. Now getting dick attached to a quality man, however...

I had a friend who mothered once. It got to the point where she flat didn’t listen to whether or not you wanted mothering, and about the most ridiculous things. It seems we’re not friends anymore, after I lost my temper about whether or not I could eat my dinner with a spoon or fork.

I ran in to a man on a course recently. He was the SPITTING image of my ex husband who was fathered by a philanderer with very strong genes. I already knew about 9 sons to three different women, and rather tactlessly asked him if he happened to know the philanderer at all. He said NO way too fast, so I’d say he’s Son #10 for sure, and must be to another woman again. I’d love to see that particular tree on Ancestry. We all live on a very small island. Makes me glad I’m a migrant!

I used to have a pretty great man but he died. Once I was driving to see him and I saw a beautiful bank of thistles flowering by the side of the road. I stopped, took a picture to share with him, and brought him one I’d picked. He cried. That’s how simple it is to be kind and show your love.

My self esteem is gradually improving, but I absolutely don’t have ANYONE male or female in my life that would help me in an emergency. It sucks. And it sucks all over again everytime I realise it anew. People suck. Too busy, too poor, and too self absorbed with their own misery. Feels as though it’s a pudding contest as to who can be the most self sufficient and you’re frowned on for needing a hand. Edit: PISSING contest. Autocorrect sanitised me dangnabbit.

Pisses me off because what kind of person do they think we are, that we might even vaguely entertain such an idea? I know it’s entirely on them, but to me it’s hurts an extra bit more because they not only don’t see me as human but even their mental picture of me is entirely wrong. Can you imagine being so cock sure of yourself that you think people will want to break ancient taboo? Gross.

Last man I knew that called himself a feminist (also told me to not be threatened by him and just treat him as a gender fluid entity) got very upset when I wouldn’t touch his little pee pee, and left the country. That was no cheap move either. Looking at at least $3000 airfares, and another $5/6,000 shipping all his crap.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/12/19 01:36 PM
31

I don’t. No penis is coming anywhere near me until I know them extremely well. I’ve been called all sorts of things by sad owners of sad peepees, but I’m not risking another 9 months in a hospital bed, followed by 2 years of sleep deprivation, and resulting loss of income unless I’m damn sure the owner of the penis is going to have my back during that time. You’d want to be pretty damn sure of your cock skills to even begin to counter that.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy19/12/19 10:07 AM

Yep. My ex husband was like this. I don’t know if it was a porn thing or what, but he could take an hour. It was so damned tedious.
