There's plenty of people that are likely only considered "attractive" because of their wealth, status, etc. I'm supposed to believe people find Post Malone or random skinny as a stick Kpop dudes attractive?

This is the same capitalism that has had two "once in a lifetime" crashes within 20 years we're talking about. This is why I roll my eyes at anyone who aggressively defends capitalism as the be all end all economic system.

If you're a woman, no I would disagree. If a woman has no social circle of her own/friend group, that means she will overly rely on the other partner in the relationship for everything social related which can be taxing on that other partner if they sometimes need to recharge alone. I've dated women like that. My girlfriend now understands I need alone time to recharge and she respects it.

so many profiles telling guys don't just dm them "hey" and to be creative, but in my experience using Bumble where women have to message first, the vast majority of dms I got were some variation of hey or hi or some waving gif Women on dating apps are full of double standards usually.

The Homecoming King was always archetypically the C-student QB, not valedictorian That's because contests like that were always just popularity contests, not intelligence ones.

Yeah I tend to privatize my relationship more than my girlfriend does.

To be fair, the thread is talking about attraction, not dating, hooking up, etc. Regardless, I'm 33, if I was back out there dating today, I'm not dating anyone under 25, I need some level of maturity, but on the flip side, I probably wouldn't date anyone my age or over either because a lot of women in my age bracket have the strong urge to have kids if they want them and don't have any already and I'm in absolutely zero rush for kids. I will say, I can't imagine being out in the dating world to…

BMI is trash if you're active in the gym or work an active job. I'm 5'8, 165lbs. I'm just "overweight" according to BMI which is ridiculous. You can look at me and tell I work out and have muscle.

There's everything attractive about a man who is soft and sensitive. There's everything attractive about a man who can articulate his emotions without rage or anger or violence. There's so much attractive about a man who can use his words and shed a few tears over punching holes in walls or breaking game consoles. That first one would not be attractive to most women. Your 2nd and 3rd ones would be true.

If a woman has to “find her friends”, then that means that she’s not really attracted to that guy. I still can't believe some guy don't get this.

There are women my age who I have nothing in common with and women younger and older who I have more in common in Funny you say this because I tend to agree. If I wanted to date older, I likely could, I'm a guy in my early to mid 30s who's in shape, looks younger than my age except my grey hair who's got most of my shit together. That same logic could work for younger women who don't like the fratboy douche scene of mid to late 20s guys who like a slightly older guy who still likes to have fun a…

Maybe not to you, but I’m positive if you removed his persona from the physical attributes, he’d be crushed on by so many women. If he walked into a bar, he would likely have his choice of who he wanted.

I'm not one for open relationships but I wouldn't automatically disqualify a woman if she had been in one previously, I'd like to know some of the details personally like was it a one time thing or did you try it and didn't work, are you actually poly, etc. It would be a dealbreaker if someone I was dating hit me with a request to open the relationship.

She and people supporting her are contributing to the obesity epidemic under the guise of "body positivity" This is my issue with people like Lizzo and her very biased supporters. It is 100% absolutely fine to be proud of your body, your sense of self, etc. Fat shaming is not ok. HOWEVER, she is scientifically at risk for poor health and that should not be ignored in lieu of "body positivity"

If she agrees to a date to begin with, and doesn't bail within the first few minutes, you are physically attractive enough. To go from attractive to sexy, you have to escalate. However, overly friendly vibes can ruin the date aspect pretty quickly. Like you said, you have to escalate within reason.

Because it's a limited sample size. If you've only went out 10-15 times in 12 years, that's nothing in a grand scheme of things. I'm also 33, I go out probably 10-15 times in a three month timespan. I couldn't care less your age or anything to that point. I agree that most women do go there to hang with lady friends and dress up a little but what I'm saying is there's a sizable portion that go there knowing if they flirt a little, they're getting free drinks and ultimately while it's wrong behav…

Just because a chick goes to a club doesn’t mean men are buying her drinks lol. I’ve never had a dude buy me a drink in a club and I’ve probably gone out at least 10-15 times since I was 21. Out of curiosity, how old are you now? 10-15 times since you were 21 means little to nothing if you’re 30 now imo. A lot of women can go to a bar with little to no spending money, hit on guys for free drinks all night and guys desperate to get laid will pony up. It’s everywhere.

I go out to bars alone semi often. My significant other doesn’t like the nightlife scene and it’s a good way for me to get out of the house and have some alone time, she doesn’t mind unless we had prior plans obviously. It’s all about trust and boundaries.

What's fascinating in my case. I'm far more in shape, attractive, and comfortable with myself in my early 30s than I was in my 20s at any point. I slept around because I was in many social circles where I had the privilege of knowing the right people to meet the women in the first place. I've been in a LTR for a few years now but I'm pretty confident if I became single next week for example, I'd have no issue meeting someone although I'm not gonna lie, I'd stay single for a while and see if I st…

It means that your league are obese women. Date them. How do you figure? Because they all like him, that’s what his ceiling per se is? That’s not how that works. We’d have to see everyone who liked him to make that assumption.

If they matched with you and are in the process of having a conversation with you, something in your profile interested them enough. Now it's the onus is on you to hook them into a longer, deeper conversation and then turn that deep convo into a date night. I don’t know why people are arguing with you on this. You’re mostly right. Most of the times, guys with bad social skills talk themselves out of “the running” so to speak.

People on this sub can’t even accept the existence of “Chads” or hypergamy lmao Because it doesn’t exist in the extreme manner some people on this sub insist it does. There’s guys who are good with women, however they’re not stashing all of them on a rotation purposefully keeping them away from other guys while making zero effort. I think it's a strictly American thing. I'm sure it happens in other places but women who are casually dating in the US have weird fixation on height for some reason but it's also some weird arbitrary thing. If a guy who's 5'9 put on some height increasing shoes and came out to right under 6', once she hangs with him a few times and if she's interested, she'll probably never notice it again once he stops wearing the shoes.

You’re only giving data from one small subset and just men. You’re leaving out a lot of demographics so this post doesn’t hold up all that well. People in this newest generation are growing up increasingly socially awkward, likely due to way more screen time, less physical interaction with people in general, and a little sheltering. As someone who still goes out and drinks socially, there’s still a hookup culture per se but it’s only for a select few.

The best relationships were from women who wanted to jump my bones half way through the first date but held back a little As brash as this sounds, there's truth to this. All of my serious relationships (three) including my current LTR had this happen. A woman will "break her rules" so to speak for a guy she likes. 2 of the 3 said "I don't normally do this" etc. More times than not, I've observed that if she holds you strictly to a "x amount of dates" rule, she's not that into you. Exceptions obv…

This is loosely based anecdotal evidence but I’m watching the real world as it unfolds in front of me. Is it a small sample size? Sure, but I’m sure it’s playing out in many places.

I’m fully confident in saying most of the single “average” men are not getting laid in any regular capacity. I go out to the bar regularly and based on people watching, most of the successful men already came with a date, etc. Most women are in groups and shut down almost any single guy who approaches.

He finds my past hot and explicitly tells me so I mean I’d be mostly indifferent to my partners sexual past but to find it hot just tells me he’s the type of guy who probably would like watching his significant other sleep with others which is fine but definitely not for me

I think a lot of men pretend to be serious about an LTR only to ghost women when they find a better sex partner. I think a lot of people in general think they want a LTR but when it gets down to it, they're not actually "ready" for various reasons so it unintentionally or maybe in some scenarios intentionally becomes a casual encounter, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 12:53 AM

My LTR is almost what most here would consider number 1 right now. Good relationship, most would probably consider average looking, good welcoming gf energy, hit or miss about the gym or healthy eating, tends to procrastinate about housework, etc. I'd still take that any day over someone who basically doesn't want to be around me and hence someone I couldn't trust in the end

You act like a man and don't give a fuck about how other people think you should live your life Ding ding ding. You literally act indifferent to your height since you can't control it anyway. My best friend is 5'6 and arguably is the most successful of all my friends with women despite being the shortest.

What about the inverse, is it a turnoff if a woman has never had a boyfriend and she's in her late 20s to early 30s
/r/PurplePillDebate11/01/23 04:13 PM
3

In some ways, you kinda answered your own question. It's commonly accepted that a man seeking a relationship/fwb/casual sex with significantly younger woman is problematic This word 'significantly' is the difference. Age gaps aren't super uncommon and nobody really even bats an eye unless there's questions about the extent/origin/etc of the relationship, etc. Like if you see a woman who's 19 dating a 30 year old but she says they've known each other for years, that's a red flag. Now to your actu…

what men say in their dating profiles Too many people, men or women's OLD profiles are incredibly bland and lack any substance. My pet peeve in terms of OLD is "just ask", it's like no, you're supposed to be trying to "sell" yourself per se to potential suitors, you just don't want to feel bothered to talk about yourself and you're probably not at good at conversation as you think you are. The difference here is, most women will only hookup with a minority of men, while most men will hookup with…

I’m sure women will be absolutely infuriated that guys who prefer sexbots will remove themselves from the dating pool These men aren’t typically in the dating pool to begin with. They are undesirable anyways. Let's not act like only men not in the dating pool would take advantage of something like this, especially if the tech got as advanced as the drawing shows. Until men figure out their own self worth and learn the true healthy meaning of "self improvement", they'll keep shoveling money, attention, and time into jackasses like Tate because he tells them what they want to hear and promises them a way to the things they want, aka women, status, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/22 04:23 AM

Men are not self-aware on how badly they treat women. This shouldn't be a tit for tat. Both men and women treat the other like shit all the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 06:36 PM
7

one reason men don’t try to emulate the first group of men is because their attractiveness mainly comes from their status This is a huge part of it. Most guys if they just looked skinny like that would only appeal to a very small niche group of women. As a male, I rather have almost any other body type than that because it doesn't even look healthy. Status and perceived wealth play a big part here.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 05:31 PM

great LTR material for the women who want someone for the sole purpose of knowing they won't cheat on them. I assure you, the grand majority of women are not picking men based on purely whether they'll cheat or not. If you're dating someone, they have physical or mental qualities you like, you're not picking people based on a single 'what if'; Do you even believe the nonsense you're spewing?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/22 05:19 PM

They’ve over inflated women’s egos to the point You could have left it there and I wouldn't have argued too much. where fat single moms are picky and demanding when they should be happy they’re getting any male attention at all. If I was back on the dating market today, ideally, I'd look for a woman in her mid to late 20s because I know a lot of women want kids and I'm in no rush. I know the biological clock is a thing that women view as important but women are able to have kids later and later in life with no issues, I'm not going to rush a life altering decision for anyone. Before OLD and maybe even social media for that matter, an average guy may have a chance cold approaching at a bar, but now that women have endless options at their fingertips if they want, that average guy has no shot.

Be attractive Don’t be unattractive Follow these two simple rules and nothing else really matters. You also need Don't be socially awkward. It doesn't matter how attractive you are, if a woman comes up to you and you ask her to fuck immediately or some other extremely off-putting comment, guess what, you're not getting anything other than probably a drink thrown in your face and maybe getting kicked out of the venue you're at.

"a venue in which interactions with strangers is not expected to occur" You already know / expect you will be interacting / getting flirted with at a bar. Going to a bar, etc doesn't immediately imply you're open/expecting/wanting to being approached. This is loosely akin to saying if someone is wearing revealing clothes, they must want male attention. A cold approach is approaching someone you don't know with intention of getting to know them on a level more than friends, period. Are you saying…

Yes they should obviously calm down but there's de-escalation techniques to use instead of just simply ignoring the reason of the anger, disregarding it, and then just essentially talking down to them. My significant other is a school counselor for young kids, mostly troubled ones, you think she's just telling them to calm down and that's the end of it? Unfortunately most therapists, when it comes to social anxiety they’ll kinda be like “just do it”. And that isn’t really helping. This is a miserably bad therapist. This is akin to telling an enraged person to just "calm down"

a bit socially awkward when it came to flirting with women so it was probably just an issue with our group. This Is exactly what it likely was. The OP's claim is one of the few true statements that come across here imo. You can be attractive, fun, etc but when the time comes, if you can't properly escalate for whatever the reason, nothing will happen.

That's why women are usually the ones to initiate, right? Come off it Immature or entitled women won't initiate, more emotionally mature women definitely will if they're interested. If they're interested and you're attractive, they're not going to just let you sit there and go meet another woman, especially if they figure out you have options.

That’s part of the issue at hand. “Dad bod” isn’t well defined whatsoever. What women seem to be referring to as a dad bod is just some guy who still clearly works out, still above average fitness, but likes to eat food and drink. This is unofficially confirmed from the fact it seems half the time a picture of a dad bod is posted in threads like this, it's usually a celebrity, etc who looks like he's off a cycle of test or something else anabolic but you know he's still in shape mostly. people have instead become in-person anti-social, because they'd rather consume streaming services, social media, videogames, etc. than interact with in-person strangers. Despite there being some truth to the women being more aware idea posted elsewhere in the thread, I think the quoted reason is the more likely reason overall. most convos are low-quality. That’s because for half the people, every opening is “hey” and every reply is a one word reply. It’s ridiculously boring and most women just expect to the guy to work for everything without contributing. It's the same shit as when a OLD bio just says "just ask", it means you have a boring personality and are much lower value than you think.

Post Malone and MGK, I will never understand how any woman find them attractive except the obvious fact they’re famous and rich. If PM wasn’t known and approached you at a bar, most women would absolutely not entertain him. MGK is literally just a tall skinny guy with a “bad boy” look. Most guys on this subreddit could probably break him in half.

I was a mess physically and mentally in my 20s up until four or five years ago. I’m 32 now and undoubtedly in my prime physically and mentally. I’m a guy though so this may not be too unusual. demonizing men Could have left it at this. Feminism at its core is absolutely correct but yes as you've said, whatever the "movement" has become in the past decade or so is completely wrong and I'm not even sure why at this point. Speaking as a man who is looking for a long term commitment I wouldn’t go for girls around 30 or above You're severely limiting yourself if you're not aware. First of all, this is my own perspective coming from a guy in a LTR and has slept around plenty in my younger days. a lot of y’all were never on her radar to begin with. Rejection was probably far less common before social media when everyone didn’t have infinite options at their disposal. Obviously more than 25% are living their lives but is it the life they want or is it the life they settled for?

men who are giving them unearned attention This is a huge part of the issue imo. I won’t use the word “unearned” because who am I to deem that. However, if “desperate” men stopped literally throwing themselves at women like their life depended on it, things would start balancing out again but we’re likely long past the point of rectifying this because young men are growing up addicted to porn and being socially awkward which comes off as creepy to women which then they handle rejection poorly an…

Have you guys actually met any women with even a 3-10k social media following? I know three and I knew them before their social media blew up. It absolutely changed them, they became very uppity for the most part and basically act as if their time is more precious than others. They’re all acquaintances at best and I admit my evidence could be flawed since I’m not close to them but from what I can tell, they’re not the same as I knew them prior.

If you're skinny/slim-thick after 20, you are not average in the US. This is all subjective. How many people argue here that not being overweight automatically makes you above average, that’s also subjective.

Social media forever ruined the dating scene, and has also affected how people interact. This society is one big search for validation via whatever tool you use, whether instagram, tinder, etc. Just like it was said, porn ruins realistic interactions for sex for young impressionable men. Social media has turned into this generations’ form of natural selection because only the top 25% of men and women are getting frequent chances to advance the population

women don’t need to do anything because they’ll always have an army of simps And this will never change because social media turned society into a full blown validation party all the time. Too many guys are growing up socially awkward and creeping women out, then they simp around and the vicious cycle continues.

The truth is, women will just tighten their standards, but the "top tier" guys will continue to operate as normal and women will likely still sleep with them. Besides like it was said, I doubt most women were just like oh whatever I have an abortion to fall back on. The SC decision was a disaster and I'm outraged for women everywhere but nothing will likely change in the grand scheme of dating for the top tier peoples.

Equality and fat acceptance is not for fat men. Yeah for the most part, big men get ridiculed far more than woman at least in the dating scene.

A woman will decide if you're fuckable within seconds of seeing you. This is mostly true. I’ve had female friends vouch for this. If you’re not already in a “friend zone”, etc. Let’s say you approach a woman at a bar, she’s deciding in those first five seconds of meeting you whether she thinks you’re attractive enough for sex or not in a hypothetical situation, if so, conversation proceeds.

"social intelligence" I would think this means common sense, street smarts to an extent, self awareness, manners, etc. Almost a grand mixture of basic human actions that people should probably be keen of. Depending on the person, maybe a little bit of pop culture and current events knowledge too.

not in particularly good shape I never understood this by anyone's standards, men or women. To see anybody who doesn't actively stay in shape themselves, etc demand someone who is fit and in shape, the ultimate irony. I don't know how such simplicity gets lost in translation along the way. Looks is the first and foremost the main threshold to "getting laid". If you don't have looks, you're not getting past the first checkpoint. Anyone who says more attractive people don’t get away with more of a negative behavior are in denial. This is why the whole “girls like bad boys” trope exists. If a truly average male had narcissistic traits, he would be put in his place much faster than a “high value” male as people would call him here. The same goes for women. Average to below average men will date anything they can get if it provides regular sex and companionship because a lot of men are far more lonely than they will ever admit. High tier men will only go for high tier women. Nobody would call any of those dudes hot if they had average jobs That's what gets me about this thread and topics like this. If PD wasn't famous, well known, etc. walked up to a beautiful woman at a bar and tried to pick her up, she'd laugh him off so quickly.

30 or 40 and even 50. While there is some truth to this, as you get older, it would depend on how well they've kept themselves in shape, etc. There's a lot of 50 year olds from both male and female that have let themselves go big time that nobody likely would spend any significant time chasing.

There is no amount of genetics or pharmacology that can counteract bad diets and alcohol...both are debilitating to the physique and become several degrees more so the moment you reach 25. Not that I like saying or thinking it but probably 75%-ish of men need to avoid OLD if they don't want to be emotionally crushed or end up having a vendetta against women. I'm a male who women have called "cute", I don't have a low n count relative to many, I don't have issues socializing with women in my social circle or otherwise, currently in a LTR who I did meet on OLD However, I had a lot of strikeouts before I didn't.

The fact of the matter is, most people in general, are somewhat insecure, about SOMETHING The entire thread could be broken down to this really. If a male or female who is used to being chased, adored, etc is all of a sudden shunned, they'll play it off, but most of the time, deep down somewhere, they'll wonder what the problem is, that leads to self doubt somewhere.

"Less" attractive girls know they can't just coast on being a female to get attention from the guys they desire so they have to at least be more open to things. The inverse is average guys who have to wine and dine a female to even get attention from them.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/12/21 09:15 PM

So what is the thing being debated here? Of course everyone wants to date out of their league, most people aren't going to willingly admit that someone they desire is out of their league and they have no shot. Maybe in retrospect.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/12/21 04:09 PM

The difference is, an average woman can get laid easily if she wants, an average man does not have that same luxury. Even dudes who sleep around normally go through dry spells and they'll take whatever to get their rocks off. I don't think women go through the same thing, maybe I'm wrong.

The elites pushed it. They wanted more women working to create more competition for jobs and bust up the unions. It worked perfectly. Stagnant wage growth for generations This absolutely happened but because of feminism? That's a bit of a stretch. The state of the working class in the US is a disaster but feminism probably has little to nothing to do with it.

How many resources do you think the typical man needs to out do the typical woman Probably more than most. The dating game has left the "average" guy behind. For what those reasons are, you could ask 10 people and get 7 different answers.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/12/21 02:11 PM

Feminism originally was just equality in terms of rights, pay, etc, it's the fringe radical fem groups that are turning it into some anti men movement. If you can silence the bad faith actors, that'll be a net positive for all. Ask an old school feminist, most of them, just anecdotally, are not a fan of what their "movement" is being turned into, grandstanding and anti male.

Probably so. I think porn has corrupted a lot of men's minds to what can be obtained in the real world. I also think a lot of guys in today's world are extremely socially awkward and for one reason or another just don't know how to be social to a point where it's very offsetting. That's not what I said but if Seth Rogen was a complete nobody on the street, he would be less successful with women most likely. A growing epidemic of women who will remain single forever because they've become jaded after going 10 for 10 mistaking "fuckboys" for good long term partners. I mean this is somewhat true if you take all the "where are all the good men" posts on social media seriously. They got pump and dumped unfortunately by a guy out of their league, then their standards are fucked after that.

so you don't want a house? I don't personally, as someone in works with mortgages, I see the kind of down payments that are being asked of people, the requirements involved, especially those with iffy credit like myself. I rather keep $10-$30k in the bank or invest it. Having a house isn't what I'm basing my life's successes on, maybe I'll readdress this mindset in a decade or so when I have kids, my credit is more stable, etc.

Mine is above average, so it didn't change anything but yeah she would have preferred it was less but I'm clean disease wise so in the end, it doesn't matter to most in that case.

If the CMV is simply, male and females are lied to about expectations, well then I can't disagree. I think the main way women are lied to about men is telling them that the hot rich alpha male will sweep her off her feet, marry her and accept her the way she is, Both males and females are told this in their respective scenarios. However, the general difference is that women continue to expect this throughout modern dating where guys are realizing this just isn't a thing.

Here in the US if it were legalized I dont think it would be much more men that see escorts over now. I think it would only slightly increase. Its more so the stigma, that will never go away here in the US. The US is uptight about it. The stigma may not go away but I'm sure the numbers will increase plenty. I'm willing to bet more don't do it because of the legality, not the financial part.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/21 07:41 PM

As usual, on a personal level this is true. On a societal level, its worth having discussions about people's unrealistic standards and how culture has shaped the dating experience into the dystopian horror show it seems to be All around one of the most correct statements I've read here in a while. Yes on a surface level, people don't get sex because people don't find them attractive enough. Digging deeper, this is because dating standards have shot through the roof thanks to social media, etc.

i hope this is how you talk to prospective dates. lots of red flags to warn them off. First of all, these are my opinions, not things I just throw out there on prospective dates. So sleeping with a 25 year old as a 31 year old is a red flag? Not wanting to deal with immature women? Where exactly is the red flag here or did I just offend you and this is how you're trying to have a comeback?

Threesomes are for single people in my opinion. Most of the time, it eventually causes problems in a relationship except for those who firmly have established things beforehand. A lot of women say they want it or think it might be hot until their boyfriend is screwing a female that may be more attractive than them.

There's layers to it I feel. Personally, at 31, I wouldn't sleep with a girl under 21, being able to go to a bar is the most basic of standards for me. But in all honesty, I'm likely not sleeping with anyone under 25 because at this point in my life, I can't handle excessive immaturity and playing games which women at that age are well known for.

While I think it's harder than it used to be for the average man while being easier for the average women, all in all, of course dating is going to be worth it assuming at some point you find the right one. Most people dating aren't sleeping around, looking to upgrade, are happy, etc.

I don't think the initial barebones premise is incorrect. He's right. Casual sex isn't attainable for most men, that's just reality. Most people, men or women would be better off finding someone for a long term relationship rather than play the dating market. But both males and females need to also come to grip with reality too that modern dating standards are and are continuing to be unrealistic and ridiculous.

The amount of sexless men rising rapidly is the successful challenge to OP’s CMV. Almost any female can walk into a bar and if she wants to get laid, she will be successful if she absolutely doesn’t care who “answers the call”. More like more and more people of both genders have come to the realization that it isn't so bad being single, and the freedom of being alone is high enough that a relationship will need a lot of benefits to outweigh it. Also social pressures are not as powerful as they were back in the day so a lot of the negative aspects of being single no longer applies. The OP is correct, and while they are definitely men with issues, the main cause of women possibly needing to be prepared for life alone isn't solely because of men and their way of living. If anything, it'll be because of women's skyrocketing expectations. And let's be fair here. I'm not talking about realistic and normally expected things. The women and men for that matter should expect to be alone if they always expect 10s, perfect looks, perfect income, etc. OP has a very unhealthy viewpoint…

I think we're going to hit a breaking point in the next decade. When the inevitable advances in sex technology progress and dudes who would normally would blow their money on attempts to wow females, etc. end up with sex robots instead, either we're going to quickly start seeing birth population dropping aka Japan. OR In the event that the sex robot fantasy doesn't pan out, you're going to see an unfortunate rise in crimes against women as incels hit a breaking point. In terms of parity in the d…

Not quite. I give equal blame in this same thread to women with inflated value of themselves as far as SMV goes but it goes both ways. Women need to loosen up their sky high standards but men need to also learn how to socially interact better.

For all I know, maybe their approach is just awful, maybe looks wise they’re not in good shape, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/21 04:11 AM

There is absolutely no chance of me believing that a full 50% of women aren't having sex at university, lol. I can believe it. If a women's SMV is being enhanced by the amount of desperate incels out there, they're being more picky. A female would probably rather not have sex than hook up with someone they feel is way below their league.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/21 11:46 PM

Porn is part of the problem but to label it as the main issue is being unrealistic.

It's OLD and social media mostly, the instant gratification part anyway. I don't believe in the TRP theory of hypergamy but if it did exist, the average guy has themselves to blame by not taking care of themselves, being obnoxious in trying to pick up women, and not learning social cues for some reason.

It’s not realistic to find a man that makes 50k (average salary of an American woman) a year? Jesus we’re fucking doomed. Cite this. Average salaries are probably being skewed way high because of the top 1% and the ridiculous wealth they have. Wages are stagnant in the US for the most part and even if they’re higher, you’re likely living in a higher COL area. $50k isn’t some easily obtained salary like some think it is. FWB typically means she wants the guy but he won’t commit. It’s rarely an actual peer. Anecdotally, this is the situation with any females I know who have a FWB, it’s usually a best friend who she’d be a couple with in a second but he won’t.

grossly inflated idea of their relationship market value This right here. A large group of women around 30 or older who are attractive and frequent the bar scene constantly have misread the market. There is an ocean of desperate late 20's and early 30's women. Anecdotally, I’ve never seen more entitled women than in this bracket. Maybe it’s the effect of living in a big city but when I meet women around this age out and about (I’m in a LTR so this is platonic) the majority of them go on constant vacations and bar hop every weekend, constantly “date”, and then when you inquire on what they want, they expect the same options as the most attractive 21 year old out of college. Most 25 yo men don't have trouble finding a girlfriend or hookup. Is this true though? I was under the impression less men than ever are having sex. Most men under 25 today are growing up in disastrous situations for dating. Social media and OLD was the absolute worst thing to ever happen to dating despite the fact many find success. It’s also led to the hookup culture that is reserved for the top percents of each gender

Ugly women don't get laid easily and don't get boyfriends easily. You’re half right. They can still likely get laid easily if they choose to do so, the boyfriend thing, that’s probably correct. There’s just too many desperate guys left over from this new normal that they absolutely would sleep with an “ugly” if it was that or nothing. Also correlates to why OLD is a disaster for most guys.

For some people having a healthy sex drive is a curse. Right, but again, for SOME people. Sexuality is as natural as plants and the air we breathe. It is unfortunate for those who have unhealthy relationships with their sex drives, sexuality, or anything in that realm as it pertains to a mental condition but that still shouldn’t lead to a slippery slope of labeling sexuality as a whole a curse, a problem, etc.

The main thing that's ridiculous is giving someone shit for something they have no control over. You can fix weight/fitness, you can attempt to fix up your hair, skin, clothes, etc. I can't grow magically a few more inches height wise. I'm 5'8, it's JUST tall enough, I've only had one woman personally reject me for my height that I can remember and she was like 6'0 so I guess I get it. My girlfriend is 5'0 so my height is just fine for her.

Unfortunately this is the majority of women. They say they want egalitarianism but would never be happy supporting a man in the same way they expect to be supported, such as being a stay at home parent. The moment women begin.to earn more than their men, the risk of divorce begins to increase I can't disagree with any of this.

I suppose I’ll find out, my girlfriend finished her masters shortly after we started dating, I jumped right into the workforce after high school, we’ve been together a year and a half, she’ll always be the more successful one financially, I’ve accepted that

When men say they are don't care about women's education level or career success, it doesn't mean they want someone completely vapid. It just means they are perfectly fine with a woman who is of average intelligence and average ambition as long as she is a good person and not hideous to look at. She absolutely doesn't need to be supermodel level in looks. "Not fat" will usually suffice. Took most of the words out of my mouth. Me personally, a woman "married" to her career would be a non-starter …

A woman that focused on her career probably has good chances to find a great husband with similar traits Disagree. Two career focused individuals will have a horrible marriage because they'll be more worried about money than quality of relationship.

I'd say the 21-25 range is most "desirable" stereotypically, however, at 30 now myself, I seem to find more women I would consider attractive in the 28-32 range. Immaturity is a turnoff, and nowadays, the women under 25 are a mess mentally when it comes to communication, attitudes, wants, etc. at least in my experiences.

if a guy in his 30’s was sleeping with, or harassing, a female family member that was 18 or 19 These are two different things. Sleeping with is implying consent, harassing is not.

in your 30s, your social circles start to become way more couple-oriented This is already well in progress. The majority of my close friends and myself are in serious relationships and/or married. I probably only have three close friends who are single I could call up on a given weekend and be like "hey let's go drink and see what we can get into" All three for the most part have their lives together, 1 is socially awkward around women, the other 2 don't want to settle down yet. As for my girlfr…

Personally, being 29, almost 30, I can now officially say I'm bored of the game. I had my fun throughout my 20s, but now being in a LTR and most of my close friends are now married or also are in serious relationships with marriage potential, that drive to just go out and "play the field" is pretty much dead. I rather travel and make memories with my significant other before we go down the road of marriage, kids, etc.

Men in their early 30s who are fit and have a full head of hair are still "young" It's a mindset too partially. At basically 30, (bday in a few months), I'm more fit and in tune with myself now than I was at 25.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/20 07:16 PM

Unfortunately, it would seem a lot of men are starting to grow up socially awkward for whatever reason so a female being "nice" to them is like pre-sex.

I like thick women. My girlfriend would be considered thick, she is not fat by any means, she wouldn’t be everybody’s cup of tea but body wise, she’s mine. She eats healthy and is mostly active, so all three of these things together, it’s great for me.

Personally I would wait three dates but if a female says non negotiable three months before sexual activity, it’s a no go for me, more power to her, I’m not mad at her, etc but sexual compatibility is a big deal for me and I rather not commit three months to someone just to find out then that we have completely opposite sexual interests, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/01/20 05:58 AM

Women don’t make men wait if they really want them sexually. You become the “accident” the “I never normally do this” if you’re sufficiently exciting. The only guys women make wait are the guys they’re planning to fleece. This is so spot on. hopes of getting sex and/or a relationship That’s the point of OLD though to be fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 10:02 PM
2

I’m not saying you didn’t have horrible experiences, I’m sure there’s far more female horror stories than male. Those are indeed YOUR experiences. What I took issue with is the automatic assumption is that any and all men will either “show true colors” or start attacking you because either you rejected him or x and y other reason. If I get rejected, it’s alright, onto the next.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 09:58 PM

What I meant is that I imagine most women would want an exclusive manwhore in not so many words, some guy who would give them the best sex they’ve had
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 04:16 PM

tinder and online dating sites I disagree. You should blame social media and instant gratification culture. OLD is just an attempt to modernize with the times and unfortunately monetize off of those with less luck in the face to face scene for whatever reason.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 07:08 AM

I absolutely agree happy and healthy relationships happen from all walks in life and from all ages.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 07:05 AM

Depends on the person. Every serious relationship I’ve ever had has been off of Okcupid specifically. Also I know of two engaged couples from Hinge. There’s merit to using it.

How long until this otherwise decent dude acts like a prick? How long until the next entitled, obnoxious random calls you a fat cunt because you didn't respond fast enough? How is this approach fair at all?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 06:35 AM

TRP and Seddit overlap but different end goals, it isn’t fair to bundle them both together.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 06:22 AM

Sometimes a guy who used to like casual sex and liked sluts starts wanting a relationship and starts not liking sluts. It's not that difficult to understand. Hi it’s me. My n count isn’t stupid high but after 2 or 3 years of partying, etc. some relationships mixed in that I admit I could have been better in in terms of working through issues, I’ve taken all I learned and I actually rather find a good relationship now.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 05:41 AM

I think that most heterosexual men wish for a woman who is a high libido bedroom fiend, but just for them, an exclusive monogamous slut. Not incorrect but at the same time, the inverse is probably true for women
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 05:38 AM

You aren't being seen by potential matches. You don't get enough attention or chances. The amount of truth here stings a little.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 05:04 AM

the best looking men on OLD are mostly just using it to try to find casual sex. Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 05:01 AM

But if he wasn't famous, I would never let him touch me Amazing what money will allow people to do
/r/PurplePillDebate30/12/19 04:49 AM

OLD is a clusterfuck for men because of a mixture of dudes who wouldn’t normally need it just go on there trying to get laid and it ruins it for those ladies who would be decent options otherwise and ruins it for guys who are actually trying to meet women to form LTRs with. I simply cannot agree that dating for women is hard in general though. Women have endless options on OLD let alone in general.

You have every right to feel that way, your situation sounds very unfortunate and I sympathize with you. However.... First, source on your thousands of rape kits sitting in storage and self reporting domestic abusers. Also, blissfully unaware would assume I’m just so wonderfully cheerful about your situations while being uninformed. Am I uniformed? Possibly, but cheerful and blind, that’s false. You lose credibility when you begin going off on the “there’s a problem and it’s not women” mindset. …

We want to stop living in fear of abuse, assault, stalking, rape, and murder. I’m all about being “empowered” even if I disagree with the method being used, but this statement is certainly exaggerated. We live in a 1st world country assuming you live in the US, Canada, UK, etc. Do awful things happen? Absolutely and unfortunately but to take this stance as if you’re living a daily life of fear, is unfair as you’re making a blanket statement against all men

Can’t tell if troll or not. Your advice is why dudes give up and just stay in their house all the time. Automatically assuming the guy who gets a reply is a beta orbiter? Telling people dating doesn’t exist anymore? Don’t message a woman unless it’s only to get nudes? Going out to eat with a girlfriend means you’re a beta sucker? What kind of off the deep end logic is this. This is the kind of TRP advice that’s totally unhelpful and gives the whole “movement” a bad rap amongst other things.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/19 09:12 PM

I don’t even remember how I found TRP and while I did hit a phase where I read the stuff, slightly agreed with some of it, but in the end, i was bitter over a failed relationship and I did back off of it because it’s a little hyperbole for my liking. There are some decent concepts in there but all in all, it’s not for me. I do believe still there’s good women in the world that are legit dating prospects, I don’t believe every chick would cheat if she had the opportunity, however, bettering yours…

Technically luck could occur. Let’s say an attractive women is getting message bombed and she’s so over it that she doesn’t even bother looking at any of them and yours is one of them, a legitimate attempt to make a connection and form a relationship. Are people really saying if you’re a male who regularly use social media that it’s a red flag? Aren’t we jumping to some major conclusions here? So what if I want to post photos of what my friends and I are doing on Instagram, or promote a new bar/etc on my story so people I know can check it out. What if I use it just to share memes that I find amusing, etc. The point is, if a male/female using social media in itself is a red flag, there’s other problems at play here. permalinks

If she has twice your n-count, she is roughly your looksmatch. Therefore, yes, she is practically out of your league Based off of what? My n count is 32, so women in my league are likely having slept with 64 dudes? That seems a bit far fetched.

Don't you see that you are just telling them "See ? Lying and cheating and being an asshole gets you plenty of women to fuck" ? When you disregard their complaint, you are basically guilting men in general for the poor choices women make This sums up dating in 2019

This speaks to me a lot actually. As someone who has been told several times I’ve gotten more attractive as the years have went on thanks to working out, better self care, etc. I still have had issues approaching women at times because I spent a lot of my younger adult life years being unsure of myself and unconfident and women picked up on it, hence rejection.

Personally, I wouldn’t wait more than a month for a lady for sex. Not because of some pride or some uncontrollable urge to fuck, but if the partner does not know how she feels after 30 days or so probably communicating and spending time together often, then it’s likely not gonna work

not gross and you can feed yourself. This alone puts guys probably in the top 50% immediately in my opinion. Some people had shit childhoods. I'd say a lot more than you think. When I was a kid, I hated getting out of bed more than anything and I just wanted to sleep all day and stay in my room. My life only keeps getting better with age. I don't get the hate here for this comment. I much prefer my adulthood than when I was a kid. I had a great childhood internally (family, etc) but socially it was a disaster. But hey I still have my family now but socially, life is 100x better
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/19 04:31 PM
1

Getting out of bed is less of a necessity; because life just doesn't have that bliss anymore. Your life may not be Groundhog Day but it certainly feels like it. The thrill of living is gone; beaten away by disappointment. This is pretty strong. I have much more pressing issues in life at 29 than I did at 20 but the knowledge I contain, the experiences, my fitness, etc. I wouldn't trade any of that away to be 20 again
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/19 04:29 PM

Height is important to some but I would argue the ability to talk (confidence blended in) and social status trump it. Example, I have several friends who sitting in the 5'5-5'6 range, full of confidence and can moderately talk it up with anyone, also well known around town, for one reason or another. Guess what? if it's their goal for the night, they can get laid with little effort.

I had to take 1.75g of Phenibut before I could notice any difference in my social activity. However, for me personally, taking over 2.5g made zero difference. I'm thinking everyone has a sweet spot. So it looks silly, but that's 7 to 10 pills of the 200mg per pill variety.

/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/19 06:58 AM
1

It's a slippery slope. What if I'm drugged and for some reason I end up cheating on my significant other and totally incapable of remembering any of it or controlling my actions, now what? Is it still my fault? However if I just drank myself into being blackout and I cheat, now nobody cares anymore and it's "my fault" Just saying, adding alcohol or substances in general into the conversation makes this conversation real slick real quick

If a women doesn't fuck her husband for a year and he fucks his coworker, they're both equally responsible. While he is responsible for the act, she put him on that track. I'd also be curious to know if they discussed why this scenario is even happening.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/19 06:52 AM

I feel like even a good committed relationship can fulfill the "special requirement" per se. I have three times roughly the n-count as my significant other, yet she initiates more than I do roughly 65/35.

don't pretend it's some innocent curiosity, literally no one in my or my friends experience ever asked it just out of curiosity Anecdotal and an unfair jab. While you’re probably right in your opinion factually, you can’t assume some dudes may simply want to know why, whether it’s for a shitty closure attempt or simply self improvement purposes.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/19 04:50 AM

if a woman says "leave me alone", your "why" would be breaking her boundaries, i.e. harassment. Aren’t we being a little too overdramatic? It’s frowned upon behavior but it’s a simple question, yes poorly executed and short but to call it “harassment”, that’s a stretch. If he grabs you or insults you period whether before or after the initial interaction. THAT’s harassment.

I’m a 28 year old male and I’m at 25 n-count, doesn’t feel like a lot at all. It sounds like you’re trying to “return the favor” of shit tests to other women like they do/did to you. It’s ok to tease but you eventually gotta make a move.
/r/askTRP01/09/18 04:41 AM

self esteem on how many women they've put their dick in. It’s crude but in today’s culture, that’s not so abnormal. It may not be the “correct” way to build self esteem but it’s self esteem building I’m sure, especially if your boys are all cheering you on.

Can never change a girl's mind" False. You absolutely can change a girl's mind. Can confirm. I’ve banged at least two women who knew me years ago when I didn’t lift, etc. they both even rejected attempts to hook up in the past. Fast forward after three years of lifting, bettering myself, and learning to not give a fuck. One of these women desperately wanted to date me long term, turned her down since she got clingy as fuck after we did hookup, and the other continues to this day to try and call …

OP is basically indirectly inspiring people to keep gunning for their RP goals, nothing wrong ‭with that.
/r/TheRedPill26/08/18 07:41 AM

I mean hey, it’s better for stamina also. Overall health and fitness should be the goal, not just “lifting”, what good is all that size if you burn out in 2 minutes of ass slamming
/r/askTRP24/08/18 08:01 PM

teased her hot friend a bit, slighty touching her hips and waist, LTR noticed and grabs my package in the middle of a store telling me I'm in big trouble that night, you know damn well what happened that night. I feel like this honestly this is the exception, not the rule. I expect women to get hella defensive and lose their shit

I also think status can help you a long way also

It’s unfortunate, this woman was probably a great lay in her early 20s but reality is smacking her in the face and rightfully so, I’ve rarely seen someone so bold in confirming TRP beliefs while playing the woe is me card
/r/TheRedPill17/08/18 04:09 AM

Do you have to live in Nevada to get a TAM card?
/r/TheRedPill17/08/18 03:52 AM

Bingo. If you basically imply you’re gonna have sex but don’t either clarify that you aren’t or you tease it but don’t have it, that’s fucked
/r/PurplePillDebate22/07/18 07:20 AM

I slightly cross over into TRP views. So I wonder where a true purple pill person would end up
/r/PurplePillDebate20/07/18 06:47 PM

So it's more accurate to say women would turn down a sure thing for a chance at something better. Sad but I would agree

The “rape culture” in the US is definitely overblown, now other countries in the world definitely have an actual rape culture. I’m sorry, if two drunk people CONSENT even while intoxicated, but then one regrets it, that’s not rape and nowadays people are calling that rape too. What’s next? I was half asleep and my girlfriend touched my dick, RAPE! Come on. Too many people want their 15 mins of fame and I doubt they care about the “cause” as much as they claim.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/18 04:44 AM

not because they truly want to be treated as equals. Nailed it. Feminism in today’s world is only a buzz word for self serving interests
/r/PurplePillDebate12/07/18 04:41 AM

Are we talking about elderly men/women or just anyone “post wall”, so that could also include past 35 men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/18 07:45 AM

This hit home a little because I fit a lot of the “Jack” character listed here. I mostly agree except status and looks could switch places depending on location.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/18 07:43 AM

Spot on. I’m totally content with my invested time being worth it with one person who I can have sex with whenever I please.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/18 08:45 AM

Except it doesn’t work like that probably. I highly doubt the average dude is pulling three plates and she has six. Maybe 1 for the guy and the female could probably have 1-6
/r/PurplePillDebate10/07/18 08:42 AM

Depending on the guy, “own interests” equal trying to pick up women

/r/PurplePillDebate06/07/18 05:52 AM

All of this could be summed up as the idea that most people want to date/fuck on their level or go higher (hypergamy) I would call myself lower 2nd tier or upper 3rd tier and the point resonates with me. If I’m on point, I could pull an upper 2nd tier or flirt with the 1st but if I’m having an off day, I’m probably being approached by 3rd tier or worse. I fully agree with OP though, just very wordy way to get there
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/18 06:39 AM

I meant more along the lines of, I’ve seen and been a part of relationships where the female looked down upon the male because she was a career woman or made more money than him
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/18 05:34 AM
1

Possibly or just someone with their career as their #1 priority
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 05:20 PM

Or fortunately depending on how deadbeat the father is/was
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 05:19 PM

Yeah #3 seems most realistic minus the prostitution part.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:53 AM

Unfortunately it would seem earning power and income is starting to become a big “trait” in deciding partners nowadays
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:52 AM
1

money, personality, and status to offset looks It helps but that’s not a be all end all but again, that takes time to gain, you just don’t likely wake up one day and have all of this. Women could buy a ton of make up, seductive clothing, etc and at least try to tip a scale in their favor for a night. Nothing wrong with this but to say men have more at their disposal is misleading.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:50 AM
1

Broad subjective opinion. Plenty of men claim to want to be better because they didn’t have that father figure and want to be there for their kids unlike their own dad.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:44 AM
1

Failed parenting isn’t always a man’s fault just like it isn’t always a woman’s fault. People in general need to choose better who they’re risking bearing a child with. (Aka, fucking) By your logic, I can tell single mothers to deal with their problems because they chose to lay with a thug, undesirable, etc
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:43 AM
2

very much from woman to woman in my experience), the points in OP are still valid. When women are attracted to you, it's obvious. They show signals. There's no point pursuing someone who isn't showing you signals. No amount of game will win her over. Pretty much wrapped up the thread here
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:38 AM
1

Not everybody not getting married in their early 20s or even mid 20s are “left overs”. Giving security in a relationship is a pro, not a con, even the club thot reformed would want security.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:33 AM
1

I can vouch. At 28, I’m at a far better place SMV wise than any point in my life
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:28 AM

What if he/she was dating someone (one person) for their entire 20s but then became single around 30, still a red flag?
/r/PurplePillDebate02/07/18 08:25 AM
1

Again, maybe the generalization works for proud claiming men of TRP but not everyone just has unrealistic and super picky expectations, some of us do know the real world
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/18 04:36 AM
5

Feminism is quite happy to keep gender roles that serve women Definitely the biggest take away here. Hardcore Feminism is basically the TRP of females in reverse, it’s self serving only used as a prop to those rallying to its “cause”.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/18 06:10 AM
1

What a ridiculous assumption of men in general.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/18 07:59 AM

Yeah this OP is some serious propaganda for how to ruin a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/18 07:55 AM

only loss does So you’re saying people should purposely hold back every once in a while to “motivate” them? What even.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/06/18 07:53 AM

if a woman has a lot of friends who have bad relationships or who have problems finding and maintaining relationships, though. So in theory, if a woman has lots of friends who are married but she’s single, probably an easier situation for the guy?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/18 08:20 AM
14

Anecdotal evidence but again the OP is asking our experiences. I have friends who come close to fitting the stereotype of “Chad”, and guess what? They’re either usually always chatting up a new girl and banging half of them, and from that, it seems roughly half the time it’s a girl who plays herself up as a real catch and she “never does this” but sure enough, the right amount of witty banter and smooth talk and it’s a done deal. So yes I do believe men and women alike will fuck a stranger if th…
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/18 07:32 AM

Feminism at its core I do believe has good intentions but like all “movements”, it has been tainted with people who take it too far. Now feminism is a sweeping generalization that is used selectively when it can improve the situation of those championing it’s now usually twisted meaning. When it doesn’t work, the male society is keeping us down, when it does work, that’s why feminism works. Story of everyone’s life, some ruin it for everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/18 07:26 AM

or are deliberately avoiding I usually agree with you on most things but how can we assume someone is purposely avoiding this just for the sake of future debating?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/06/18 07:23 PM

I second this
/r/PurplePillDebate15/06/18 11:40 PM

What? Where is this coming from? I lean red but I don’t even come close to claiming all women equal feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/18 08:07 PM

Shit, I keep reading this as “ass holiness”
/r/PurplePillDebate12/06/18 08:35 AM

Over sensitivity is killing this country in so many different ways.
/r/TheRedPill10/06/18 11:10 PM

I didn't read the article and I'm not going to. While that doesn’t invalidate your opinion, it makes you harder to take your words for any kind of truth. Probably anecdotal at best but I’ve seen dozens of women claim something like this, their actions speak otherwise.
/r/BlackPillScience10/06/18 05:13 PM
1

“Chad” at this point is too generalized to be a person. It’s basically a mindset now. You want to achieve “Chad” like people want to achieve “zen”
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/18 05:07 PM
1

not sexually attracted to fat women. Which is more of a preference in the end so why you’d be getting flamed is beyond stupid. A woman would openly claim she’s not into an obese guy and it’s just ok. I hate double standards
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/18 05:04 PM
1

If you are attractive then your approaches and inappropriate touches are welcome and desired. If you are ugly then they are sexual harassment. This is the harsh reality of approaching women, at least nowadays, especially in an overly feminist period of time.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/18 04:58 PM
1

Considering I’ve been ghosted by people who I thought I was “clicking” with, it’s an odd and confusing feeling. Also those who claim they would never do it as a positive trait of themselves usually do it most
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/18 05:13 PM
4

Except, of course, many women who say this are indeed that type of girl. At least half the women I've had ONS with thought it necessary to tell me (often multiple times) that they're not the type of girl that hooks up all the time -- "I never do this". I can vouch for this. Two women who “never do this” ended up being my most two serious relationships with one being marriage potential.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/18 04:53 PM
2

I found TRP long before I found PPD but I’m here 90% of the time now. I didn’t get interested in these “pills” because I was chasing women, I like the psychology of it all. I also like the questioning of everything and debating, hence why I hang mostly here now
/r/PurplePillDebate05/06/18 05:29 AM
3

In theory, a happy beta would be best and would likely have qualities of an alpha to balance out and therefore have a successful LTR. Being very general here
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/18 11:39 AM
1

Smarter people may make more money but that’s not mutually exclusive with good looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/18 11:36 AM

Ha, no luck so far
/r/seduction02/06/18 01:39 AM
1

You see, I have to meet a lady like you around me.
/r/seduction02/06/18 01:33 AM
1

I’m 28 and I’d date a 35 year old, as long as she isn’t snobby and at least shares some of my interests or let’s me have my own hobbies. I’m beginning to broaden my horizons because it seems (in my experiences) most women under 30 are still playing a lot of games
/r/seduction02/06/18 01:19 AM
2

Agreed. It’s a hard next when a chick tells me IHABF, plenty of other ladies
/r/TheRedPill01/06/18 05:19 AM
1

That’d be a great way to look at it but I’m sure plenty don’t go this route
/r/PurplePillDebate31/05/18 02:38 AM
1

Either way, most of us would probably agree which female in that group of four is not average. However, I give benefit of the doubt, I’m not gonna judge someone’s “attractiveness” based off of what they look like at work.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/18 03:42 PM
1

Average is also subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/18 03:38 PM
7

That’s a last resort. Plus why are these men looking online? If you’re a man who has a good job and isn’t super ugly, and you go to church regularly women will come to you in real life. Another overgeneralization. Not everyone just has the spare time to go out and meet people in person especially if you work a lot. I get told I’m attractive somewhat regularly but I get approached slim to none and if I do, it’s by somebody I wouldn’t date (single mothers, much larger females, etc)
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/18 03:29 PM
3

The dating website experience in 2018 would probably challenge this claim I feel. Nowadays even the most average of women get blown up constantly, now try being an average dude on a dating website. Also, where is this evidence that men find dating and LTRs to be a pain in the ass, gross over generalization. The “average” person of either gender is likely going to have to work harder than the high value people. Although it still seems to be commonplace for males to make the first move.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/18 03:15 PM
8

Looks is #1, then status, then everything else.
/r/seduction29/05/18 11:40 PM
3

You could say only date someone who you can see legitimate long term potential with. For example, if you meet a lady who you know is fun, interesting, etc but has another serious flaw in your eyes (religious, political, viewpoints, etc), you may “date” her but she could also likely be just a stepping stone to someone else
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/18 06:00 PM
3

Agreed. I’ve said it in other threads before.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/18 02:58 PM
2

To expand on your idea, TRP is just a shell, a generalization. Within it, there’s only MGTOW or PUA. It’s like a pill within the pill.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/18 05:42 AM
1

Looks is still usually #1, it would take a hell of a status to ignore physical unattraction to someone if that is the case
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/18 05:39 AM
1

I’d agree with your idea on the purple pill. I agree with portions of TRP but also have disagreements on some of the ideals. Hence why my flair is reddish purple
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/18 02:11 AM
1

For clarification, even the discussion of the mindset is not allowed?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/18 05:14 PM
1

The TRP reddit hasn’t changed too much in my opinion, I just think the MGTOW “movement” has gotten louder because its basically the ones redpill principles didn’t work for and the far right portion of TRP.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/18 02:47 PM
1

women lose sexual desire once in committed relationships, Why is that though?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/18 12:42 AM
3

So you’re saying women want a high value (attractive, decent to high income) man? I don’t feel like this is generally new knowledge particular to the redpill crowd. That’s how I’m perceiving this anyway
/r/PurplePillDebate24/05/18 02:51 AM

"My new girlfriend is 12..." (Eyes widen) Go on... Not even gonna lie, when I first read it too, I was about to spit out my water, then I kept reading
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/18 06:24 AM

this is consistent with stats. But how many people are really marrying 30 years older than themselves?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/18 06:23 AM
1

Depending on the age, even 8-10 years may be odd, at least to me. I’m 28 but I can’t imagine dating a 18-20 year old, too much probable immaturity and possible cluelessness about life for my liking. However if you’re 36 and she’s 26, that’s just not as big of a maturity gap, again, at least in my opinion.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/18 06:18 AM
1

I'm only 27 and I've already noticed the party scene is starting to slow down. Also depends on your surroundings, company, etc. but yes. At 28, I’m only going to clubs to see people I know; the dj, bartender, etc. if a younger female (21ish) wants to approach, I’m all for it. Otherwise I’m going to a bar to meet people or meet them at other social gatherings
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/18 06:09 AM

I mean hell, look at celebrities and pro athletes, a decent number of them spend a load of time on instagram or snapchat. We assume their sex life is average at worst, and well above average at best

Even with AWALT, I’m almost speechless at the pedophile part.
/r/TheRedPill21/05/18 07:36 AM

It’s like I said in another thread though. Looks absolutely matter and it starts out being the most important quality someone has, you can’t get to any other qualities without being physically attractive in some manner first. Now after that, other qualities may take over
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/18 07:09 AM
3

I would consider a “post wall” woman as long as she isn’t a mother. As a matter of principle to me, I do not want to be involved in another man’s child’s life. I want to “create” my own children with someone
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/18 07:17 AM

The more I research anything about MGTOW, the more it just sounds like a fork of being Incel. Obviously there’s exceptions but they follow a similar train of thought
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/18 07:06 AM
7

I think people exaggerate the wall but I do think it exists in a sense. Some people’s SMV will drastically be different at 35 compared to 25, for better or for worse
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/18 02:16 PM

I mean, some dudes just like chubby women, it likely has something to do with their overall SMV, but I guess you never know.
/r/askTRP19/05/18 12:59 AM

stop eating processed food that's mostly industrialized chemicals I honestly think this is a big part of it, obviously processed food existed then too but that industry is growing leaps and bounds
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/18 05:42 PM

Looks is always first because you’re rarely going to get to looks, game, and status without first finding someone attractive physically. It’s a big game of paper, rock, scissors. Money can buy you status but status cannot get you money, looks and game might be able to. However, status, money, and game can overcome looks sometimes. It’s a big mess and a lot of them cross each other
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/18 11:31 PM
2

Guys ultimately value regular sex more than the relationship stuff Regular sex and relationship stuff can go hand in hand. If you’re in a good relationship, you’re probably getting regular sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/18 02:22 PM
1

Better would be anything benefitting a relationship whether it’s causal or LTR, obviously unacceptable would be anything harming it. There’s a twist to every situation I’m sure. Example, if you’re heavily into fitness and you begin dating a fitness chick and you both have this “expectation” of each other so to speak, but one of you just stop caring and start getting way out of shape, that’s going to cause issues. If two hardcore vegans are dating and one all of a sudden decides fuck it, I want t…

I’m red in the fact that I do believe it’s frowned upon to be masculine in today’s increasingly feminine-ish society.
