Rollo Tomassi has been going off about blue pill men causing problems online lately. My lazy search brought this review of why streamer XQC has lady problems (because his mental point of origin is feminine, not masculine - the focus of his life and actions is women, and their happiness or fulfillment). https://youtu.be/asWVbeNXSt0

"Women have always been the primary victims of war. Women lose their husbands, their fathers, their sons in combat." -Hillary Clinton You want an answer? It's because feminists always have to make everything about themselves because they lack empathy. If you tell them men are suffering, they do not try to help. Instead, they argue that women are suffering more. They demean, belittle, and shame because they understand that government and private funding for causes is often a zero-sum game. "If we…

I (1993 Ford Aspire) hate how auto buyers value me because of my mileage. So I have been with 58 different owners which I know is higher than average but I wanted to have fun and enjoy new experiences and it's my tires so I wore them out. My seats have been replaced too many times, and the padding no longer feels right. The transmission slips because people have slid it into gear very roughly numerous times, and the clutch was not always properly lubricated, so it is hard for some drivers to tel…

do realize the left are the side of social mobility and progress, logically speaking This is your issue. Being a woman or person of color, you see the left as inherently "for equality." It isn't. Very few leftists are interested in actual equal treatment for all people. The left in America at present is interested in "Equity," which is a fancy name for revenge. White men must always lose, in order for historic wrongs to be redressed. It's the stealth systematicization of what we would describe i…

So I think the real takeaway here is that male consumerism is only seen as bad when it’s not used to benefit women, but rather the man himself. This is the real issue. You like video games and comic books? Shame! You like expensive trips and fancy dinners you can take me to? You're a real man!

Watch what they do, not what they say. But, still, I have these arguments often with work friends I feel comfortable disagreeing with. People generally are not as bold in person, but they are happy to gaslight you while twisting the conversation, as you seem to be starting to notice. Whataboutism is a well-known KGB tactic, and is something feminists almost always do if you bring up something that frustrates you about one or more women. Another tactic is seamlessly shifting from individual to ge…

95% of women I’ve met do not act like this in real life. What wondrous utopia do you inhabit, and how do I get there from the West? Jokes aside, my experience is approximately opposite of yours. Finding women who even admit that misandry is a bad thing is awfully difficult among educated people in my community.

Hypocrisy from feminists? Whaaaa? This is just more evidence that certain groups of people do not want rights to exist unless women have them first, most, or exclusively. Whether or not men can have rights is not their concern; men's rights and bodies are merely tools to leverage for more women's rights.

I think it's something we internalize as men that our worth is dependent on our usefulness to women. You're definitely right. The more media we consume, the more this gets beaten into our heads, and the messages become more twisted and confusing as the world becomes more "woke." I find it a good thing that women get to choose what professions they go into, and how they arrange their personal lives. What I don't appreciate is that men are getting more and more boxed in. The world explicitly expec…

Masculinity means being useful to women: materially, emotionally, romantically, sexually, etc. I haven't managed to be any of those, so I guess I'm not a "real man." I fail to meet my own standard of masculinity. Fuck that nonsense, dude. You're a man. You simply need to stop looking to women to help you define yourself as such. That's not healthy for men. Women aren't in charge of your masculinity or your self-worth. Live your life without regard to what women think, and you'll get a lot more a…

what is a male? You're eliding the word "human" at the end of your sentence. Male is an adjective, describing the sex of an animal. Thus "a male (human)" is indeed one who is born with the distinct sex organs of that biological sex. That question is settled. What has been unsettled recently is the question of what the noun "man" is, since the trans community believes people who are born with female or both sex organs can become men. I do not wish to weigh in on this debate, only note that the mi…

My definition of masculinity, to be frank, is: who gives a fuck? If you're walking around worried about whether or not you're masculine, that's not masculine. If you let other people shame you into living how they want because they think it's "more masculine," that's not masculine. I find no benefit to the term, and have only really discussed it when women bring it up (often with the intent to manipulate me into performing a traditional male task, while paying lip service to gender equality). Ma…

It's ongoing, but I really noticed the isolation from society when I was first expected to leave the nest. Luckily my parents would often help out if I stumbled, but the attitude of society (including friends and people you hold dear) is that men are a cog in the machine, and that a man's worth is fundamentally tied to his ability to produce resources for others to consume. Don't have a solid job, or at least the potential to one day secure a great one? No attention from most women, no social sa…

there’s no chance there’d be no physical evidence of it There's tons of it. Poke around the US government's AAP compliance website, or read some articles on diversity requirements for companies that take on government contracts. This is a well-known issue. I'm not your personal Google butler.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates01/07/22 03:19 AM

That's not a counter-example. That's one woman's (self-reported, and informally) stated desire, not a workplace mandate from a corporate or government entity. What I'm talking about is actual state-sanctioned workplace discrimination based on sex. Someone saying, "Golly, I'd sure like more men around" is not comparable by any means.

So you know this because of conversations you’ve had with people in the industry Yep. Government contracts can get cancelled outright if the quotas aren't met, and some mid-sized companies can be nearly ruined in one fell swoop like that. They also mentioned that hiring unqualified women means they have to make up busy work, or have them holding signs all day while the men work. They do not. Traditionally female-dominated professions have no incentive to hire more men.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates30/06/22 05:22 AM
28

They don't mention gender-preferences and quotas, either. I'm not sure how it works in the U.K., but in the U.S. a lot of historically male-dominated industries are having a hard time employing the amount of men they'd like because the government mandates a certain proportion of female employees. That means more blue-collar men are left without options unless they are retrained or return to school (which can be very expensive).

Republicans vote in mostly self-made people who already know how to balance the books, organise, run a business and profit in a way that is sustainable. Bwaha! Republican economics are only sustainable for the megarich, and they have never balanced the budget. You're running from one logical fallacy to the next so quickly that I have no idea how to address this circular series of leaps to conclusions down a slippery slope carpeted with red herring. You switch between science and the arts willy nilly. You claim there is a replication "CRISIS!!!" but provide nothing to back that up, and then you select feminist theory as the only concrete example of a real situation to provide, when I've already stated very clearly that political activism is the one are…

Ffs. Don't swallow all of the conservative anti-intellectual garbage you read on Twitter. This comment sounds like something someone made up after encountering Thomas Kuhn for the first time and struggling to sound out the syllables in "incommensurability." Academic work is rigorous and intellectually honest in the vast majority of cases. It's only when politics taint the well that some people prioritize activism over intellectual honesty.

So, let me get this straight: you want me to pay for something i consumed by myself, even though i made sure to buy the most expensive thing possible, in order to allow you the privilege of demonstrating your worth to me - which, if done several times, depending on how valued i feel, might lead me to eventually consider having sex with you in exchange for expensive gifts and experiences? Do i look like a prostitute to you?!?!

I'm not sure if you've ever been the solo boyfriend at an all-female party your girlfriend has thrown or attended before, but it's... awkward. You hear things about other boyfriends and husbands that you never, ever wanted to know. I was boyfriending long before the advent of social media, and I assure you that this is not new. The vast majority of women do this. If you have a curved wiener, expect her entire friend group to know which direction it points within 24 hours of her seeing it for the first time. If you have an argument, expect her friends to weigh in on the issue the next time you socialize with them. Women date men; men date a woman's entire support system. Wait, I’m confused then. Because women do help troubled youth and volunteer too, in the same way. I don’t see how that’s masculine. Women can be masculine, and often are - especially in the West, where they are conditioned to be leaders, to be aggressive, to be confrontational or competitive. I think you're stuck essentializing the genders, when you're trying to escape that frame. I also don't think men and women always lead or mentor in the same way. I think the problem is that you're conflating masculinity with manhood. Men are feminine sometimes, even if they're gigachad in public, or at work. The guys who like to just play along with the dnd game might volunteer at the boys and girls club and mentor troubled youth. They don't need to break stuff and pound their chests to accomplish this feat, but it is still an example of masculine leadership qualities at work. Believe it or not, Joe Rogan actually had a great take on this when discussing the myth of alpha males (this was before his podcast moved and got super weirdly into UFOs and stuff). You already got a good answer. In many ways, we have yet to throw off the old evolved attitudes about sperm being cheap, while eggs are expensive. Most human cultures have always considered the vast majority of men disposable, while women are in need of protection. There's also bad outcomes for women when we adhere to these lizard brain instincts. For instance, "helpless maidens" might get protection, but they are also more prone to be treated like property under this way of thinking. As we've a…

Right. There's no product used by Hollywood to make the clitoris look huge in mainstream films. The point is that even when people complain "There's more female nudity," you are still seeing zero external or internal genitalia, or it becomes porn. You often see a penis and scrotum in mainstream films, though, and that is considered artistic. You should not communicate your views to other people. It hurts the species.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates22/05/22 10:42 PM

Race is defined culturally, but cultures have almost always done so by observing and categorizing phenotypic traits. That's why there's the notion of light-skinned African Americans "passing" for white people, and how that is problematized in the literature. You cannot reasonably separate any human activity into pure biology or pure culture.

I don't think we need to be giving that B any more fame than she already has. It was sickening how people thought that was so funny. Could you imagine if some abused husband cut out his wife's uterus and threw it out the car window as he drove away? The news media would call him the biggest monster since Chuck Manson.

AskMen is heavily used by women who answer questions "on behalf of" men. If you ever point out that they're providing a female perspective, they'll either laugh it off as "Oops! Men sharing their problems generally results in scorn. If it were otherwise, we'd see some attention paid to the death and dismemberment gap, instead of ONLY ever hearing about a very small wage gap based on sweeping generalizations about workplace pay.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that no matter what women say, they don't want to hear about men's emotional issues. Every gf I've ever had asked me to open up more, be more vulnerable. Every time i believed that's what they actually wanted, it immediately led to them losing interest in me sexually, no longer respecting me, or using my vulnerability as a weapon in a later argument. There's literally no benefit to sharing difficult emotions with a woman that I've seen, and I've boyfriended …

When you see some of the opinions on menrights, it's possible to understand why they would have come to that conclusion. But even if you come to that conclusion, the proper course of action is not disparagement, more bigotry, or even censorship of "bad ideas." It's polite disagreement, backed up by evidence wherever possible. That's the problem with identity politics in the West: it has devolved into outrage politics. I'm not sure Swift was referring to childhood indoctrination, so much as political beliefs people wander into and then identify with for no logical reason, but you can take it up with him. In my experience, the saying holds some truth.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/22 09:44 PM

Right, but that's a special case. You can always bring up "the guy I know who doesn't" in response to a population-level generalization, but it's meaningless in that context. The top 10% of good looking men are able to flip the script and choose who gets the sex AND the relationships. Doesn't mean that the middle 80% of guys have that power.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/22 09:41 PM
17

Don't try to make an emotional position conform to the rules of logic. It's like the old saying by Swift, "you can't reason someone out of a position they did not reason themselves into."
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/22 06:33 AM

Right, but we are only in control of that aspect of inter-sexual relations. Women mostly get to decide who has sex, but we mostly get to ssy who gets a commitment (monogamy, moving in together, marriage). This isn't controversial.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/22 06:11 AM

No, we're primates whose sexual reproduction strategy involves having as much sex as possible.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates15/05/22 01:29 AM

No. We want sex more.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates14/05/22 11:00 PM

In heterosexual relationships, men are primarily sex-driven, while women are primarily attention/relationship-driven. There are exceptions and variations, but women are often in charge of who gets sex, while men are in charge of who gets a relationship.

If you date younger women, eventually some will call you that. I had a Puerto Rican girlfriend who wasn't much younger than me, but she always called me Papi. It was kinda cute. Older women would invariably give her the stinkeye and gossip behind her back, which made me resolve to start defending grown women who use that type of nickname. Consenting adults should be able to be happy and flirtatious if they're not messing with anyone else's relationship.

There's a famous Dear Abby column where a wife writes in complaining about how her husband does everything wrong and she has followed him around the whole time they've been married, fixing all of his chores so they're done right, and correcting him so he learns the right way of doing things. But for some reason, if you can believe it, not only did the husband not appreciate the benefit of her guidance, but he stopped trying altogether. Whatever could have gotten into him?!?!

Similar to sperm donorship. Giving away rights to parenthood, and excusing you from obligations thereof. A "financial abortion" would be very simple, and could easily be managed in the first trimester, if that were the limit on consensual sex (thus allowing the potential mother to make plans accordingly). For items like rape, sex as a minor, or incest, there should be no term limits.

Right. I agree that would be an incomplete solution. For some very lonely, angry, isolated young men, though, being able to buy some attention from willing, attractive women would at least be a start. I also think a lot of the arguments against legal prostitution are disengenuous and anti-male AND anti-female.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/05/22 09:16 PM

Sex is a social need, too. You're trying to define away a problem by minimizing one aspect of it. Sex is a type of affection, and being able to have sex makes men feel wanted and noticed. Nothing you've said minimizes the importance of sex (both biologically and socially) for young men. Stow away the shame language. That doesn't work on me.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/05/22 07:45 PM

The real problem is the ostriching mainstream media perform when someone raises the very real issue of young, sexually frustrated men giving up and either committing self-harm or extreme violence toward others, when legalizing prostitution would save so many lives.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates03/05/22 08:15 AM

"Sounds like a" [bad person] is a traditional feminist mode of argumentation, meant to exploit the cooling effect of shame words, like sexism, racism, homophobia, etc. You seem to want to adopt shame language as a primary rhetorical tool, and I don't think it's appropriate for a men's movement.

You keep equating death with minor inconveniences. "People don't enjoy women's sports as much" isn't a product of sexism. It's a product of natural divisions between the talents and interests of the sexes. Women spend a small fraction of the money men spend on sports (tickets, merch, concessions), so neither gender does much to support these leagues, unless there is a related men's league artificially propping up the women's league (e.g. the WNBA, which has been in the red since its inception). …

He's probably been subject to physical and emotional abuse in the past. That's how these things work. The victims of domestic violence often feel guilty when they fight back or when the police show up and take their abusive loved one away. Like, everyone believes this when a woman is the victim. What's your problem?

That's not individual production, then, is it? If Person B is financially supporting the endeavor, of course they should get an interest in the IP. He had to literally flee Canada to remain solvent.

/r/PussyPassDenied27/08/21 09:50 PM
18

Still wrong. Nobody killed anyone in this video. One side attacked another side with weapons. The side without weapons defended themselves with their fists. Why should they be penalized for being stronger than their attackers? If a bunch of women beat up some men who were beating them with poles, do you think a bunch of white knight simps would ride up to thirstily support the men? Learn to spot your misandry. Don't spread its stink further.
/r/PussyPassDenied27/08/21 09:38 PM

/r/PussyPassDenied27/08/21 09:31 PM
26

Nope. I'm saying if you attack someone, you forfeit the right to dictate how they respond. This is a common strategy of mental abusers. They start a fight, and when someone fights back they play the martyr. Don't want someone to beat your ass? Don't attack them.

its poor motivation to do it for pussy. Most of the great works of art and literature would never have been accomplished if no one ever got laid for making cool stuff. Many lands would have gone unconquered, and many businesses never made it because the owners just kinda piddled around, treating it like a hobby. Access to pussy is man's underlying evolutionary drive for most attempts to acquire wealth, power, or status. Sure its great to get your shit together, but don't expect people to reward …

I'm not endorsing how things are, just describing the only way to help yourself out of the despair you're facing because girls won't fuck you. You're lashing out because you're scared and weak. You can continue to rage against reality, or you can realize that you can't legislate equality in mate choice. That's not how evolution works. Women are supposed to be picky. That's their strategy. Men are supposed to stick it in any warm hole. This leads to the top 20% of men getting 80% of the sex. Cryi…

/r/PussyPassDenied20/08/21 11:01 PM

Depends on the idea. I believe in nuance. I should be able to differ from either party and still have a place at the table to discuss issues. People who treat everything as black or white, good or evil, are generally either lazy thinkers or dangerous zealots. That's why political purity tests make me angry. If I'm for 99% of one platform, and I express some doubts about a single issue, stupid people are always like "You don't sound like a reeeeeal progressive!!!!!" It's mindless groupthink, and …

This problem is entirely your own. Your hand is not a pussy. Neither is a woman's hand, or mouth, or b-hole. Where do you draw the line? What if a woman put lube on her hand? That's not natural. What if she did a dance for you and when grinding on you, you climaxed on your jeans. Is that having sex with denim? How unnatural! Get over it, man. Sex toys are no big deal.

Have an open league for the best of the best. Trans, women, men, children, whoever is the best. This is what most pro men's leagues are. There are no rules saying a woman can't play in the NHL, for instance. It's just that there's never been a woman good enough to be anything more than a spectacle at an exhibition game or all-star skills competition where they won't be hit. Most aspects of legislating morality are less restrictive than in the states. Want a beer late at night? Go to the bodega. Have to pee when driving in the country? Whip it out or squat. Yeah. You'd think. And yet I've dated a whole lot of women who claim to only have eyes for me, and "WOULD NEVER!" cheat on someone. Then I meet one of their exes and learn they cheated on him. I am the one who said it was natural to want to fuck other people. You're either agreeing in a hostile way, or you're confused about what you're arguing. As for acting on natural urges, you don't have to all the time. If you did, you'd be 900lbs of fast food and beer weight, in prison for rape or murder. We deny our natural urges hundreds of times per day because it's better for our long-term health and happiness, better for society, and better for our children and relatives. Wear a condom. Fuck…

How was it unclear that it isn't the desire to fuck other people that bothers me, but the dishonesty. Anyone who isn't 100% asexual wants to fuck other people. It's only real scumbags who deny it, lie when they do it, and enter into monogamous relationships (or worse yet pressure someone into committing to one) and then cheating. Fucking is fine. Lying isn't.

Because of all the idiot kids who come and flex around here, and all of the dudes still in anger phase who post long-winded rants about how women suck and libtards need to be pwned. They aren't mischaracterizing anything from what you can read in the majority of posts here. The problem is that the majority of posts here have only surface-level commonality with TRP, and morons use it to justify their antisocial "storm the capitol" neckbeardery.

Push/pull. Little touches. I normally default to traditional gentlemanly touching if I'm having trouble fitting much in organically. Offer an arm when walking. Touch her back as you open the door for her and (very gently) guide her in. Pull out her chair, and pat her on the shoulder when she sits. Stuff like that is so ingrained in our society that even if you're super awkward, it seems natural. It'll also encourage the type of shit tests that every guy should already be prepared for. Yeah. People just use it to mean "hot babe" scale now, but if you look at a lot of the older PUA sites, you'll see it was imported to TRP with this sort of explanation: Edit: mofo bot didn't want me linking to old PUA subs, so here's a summary TLDR: Several new FR'ers and commenters have been throwing around the HB tag like mad. I'd like to offer a few guidelines from the old school perspective. 1) The Hot Babe (HB) scale is an indicator of a girls relative value(attractiveness) with respect to …

Prostitution is way more honest than dating. I wouldn't think twice, if I thought I wouldn't get caught. I have a sort of public job, though, so I would need a referral to someone discreet. Check my other comment, man. HB is a measure of her perceived self-worth in PUA circles. So, this 5 you're saying is entitled as shit sounds like an HB8-9 because she's got all sorts of fuckboys and white knights riding up to tell her how evil other men are and how special she is.
/r/askTRP21/12/20 11:36 PM

OP is actually using it a bit wrong (as most people do). HB1-10 is about the self-perceptions of social value a woman holds, or if you're in a relationship how you've treated her in your interactions (a baseline for future expectations). Like, in the "Material Girl" video, a young Madonna was a solid 7 but perceived herself as deserving all of the material goods the dudes in the tuxedos were offering her, so despite being only "good looking," she was an HB10.

Go to conventions, take classes, and keep an open mind about certain "girly" hobbies that attract tons of women. If you're going to be Disney with women, at least listen to the right characters. Sebastian from the Little Mermaid is probably your best bet (and I'll paraphrase): la, la, la, kiss the fucking girl. As an adult, you don't make new friends unless you take up new hobbies. If you want some of those friends to be female, you might need to open your mind to hobbies you normally wouldn't have considered. Most successful salespeople seem to be the kids who grew up with verbal diarrhea constantly flowing out of their pie holes. Everyone had that friend who never stopped spewing nonsense. When you talk as much and as fast as most salespeople do, a solid 75% of what comes out of your mouth is B.S. Either way, it's tough to learn anything when you're the one doing most of the talking. Am dude. Love women who have skills and ambition, whether that expresses itself as having a degree and a good job, or doing tons of charity work, or what have you. Not all men are apathetic to that sort of thing. I consider myself slightly above average looking, but tend to date women all over the appearance spectrum. First time isn't always a good meter of what you can get away with. Some girls need some warming up. Normally it's anal or fetish stuff that's the sticking point, but chicks get themselves all tied up in knots trying to not look like a whore, despite totally being one. Women aren't as visual as we are, generally, and they tend to feel themselves into attraction. Whereas when I was 16, I could see half of a pretty girl's nipple in a magazine and go crank out a batch of mandough, women tend to take a more holistic view: appearance, situation, emotional state, confidence of partner, how much shit you bought her earlier, number of stinky candles burning, etc. If the other stuff is there, they seem to talk themselves into thinking ugly guys are "quirky" or "distinc…
