For reference, this whole comment is a quote from a 5-year old article from the Guardian

Divorce is messy and it's much harder to explain to your environment you broke up with your husband/wife than simply ending a "regular" relationship that didn't work out

Hardly, since it is a normal medical procedure that is done as a routine and on a regular basis. He could always defend himself that he acted to his best knowledge and belief and I doubt hardly someone would sue him for that. I only could go to a newspaper and hope they don't have too much to tell right now, so they can make a story out of it which may would lead to a shift in perspective of circumcision. But quite frankly, that seems like a bit of an overdose.

I mean, I did this for the last couple of months and it definitively has improved but not enough. Should I try more?

But asked very dumb: If I don't trust my doctors, who can I trust?

You can't sue everyone as easy as that in Germany since we have no jury members. If I'd do that I would lose more than just my foreskin lol.

He is just giving me advice. In the end, I will ofc trust my local doctors more than a person on the internet. But it can't be bad when I hear suggestions from someone else. I mean, he definitely has more competence than I do. More than my doctors? Probably not.

Like I said, I'm definitely not looking forward to it. I just kinda arranged for myself that I would do it if that is the best solution. I'm currently just happy that I have no "active" problems and that doctors in Germany don't get paid based on the bullshit they give off to their patients. I seriously don't want to imagine this scenario in America, at least not from what I heard.

Let's see first what the guys will tell me in the hospital. I definitely have stuff like that in mind. I mean, there isn't just one kind of circumcision, maybe they'll just do a partial one that is widening everything. I don't know yet.

The doctor doesn't earn anything in Germany. I got an appointment to a nearby hospital where they'll talk with me about that in detail. The problem is that if my skin gets behind my nut, it is unable to reach back. It is too tight for my nut when I'm not erect, doesn't become better when I am. Since my skin stays behind, the blood can't flow out of that body part, resulting in the death of tissue in that body part. But yeah, I'll ask a lot of questions about that next week.

I got a phimosis that is rather serious. The doctor told me my nut eventually falls off when I don't do something.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
