No, it's saying to stay in your lane unless all you want is to be fucked with a paper bag over your head by Chad. Or stay single forever if non Chads repulse you and stop bitching about there not being enough men who are good enough.

horrible their personalities What is a "horrible personality" to you? The definition varies so much from person to person that it's almost meaningless without further explanation.

boys flirt with girl they find cute. And they'll only flirt back if the guy is good looking, you can't force them to flirt back with someone they don't find attractive. Or do you expect them to be flirty just because the guy makes a move? That's very entitled of you.

I'm especially weirded out by males who do physical excercise to improve their beauty which is covered up 99% of the time with clothes? If you wear the right fitting clothes then it's noticeable. The question is, is that physique impressive enough for women to take notice if the guy is otherwise average looking. In my experience, no.

People are dreadful at estimating heights, so when they say stuff like '5'9 is short' what they're really saying is 'the 5'6 guy who told me he was 5'9 is short' Nah I'm 5'8 and have been called short and "short for a guy". This is without me even mentioning what my height was. You just get compared to the other guys in your environment or to the woman making the judgement. No need to complicate this, most woman just aren't attracted to short guys. chances are she's saying she won't date anyone …

If you were prescribed them specifically for low testosterone and are using them only to fix that medical condition then it wouldn't count as a biohack. Some doctors like to have their patients at the top of the physiological range which would put their T levels above that of the average male. And even if they have them at the level of an average male they won't experience a drop off in T levels throughout the day as those who are completely natural, meaning their testosterone would be stable th…

Women are more than willing to talk after that. If you're physically attractive that is.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/09/18 12:21 AM
1

Women do not evaluate attractiveness based purely on appearance, especially a flat image Sure but you yourself acknowledged that Zac Efron is hot even though you think he looks gay in that picture. You're still able to tell whether a man is physically attractive, and that's all men who post those pictures are trying to show, just the physical aspect. You'd get somewhat better answers posting videos. Yeah that's fair.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/09/18 04:21 AM
1

See when guys post pictures of men for the purpose of showing what women find attractive, we're talking about his physical features ie. body, face, etc, not the way he's posing or his facial expression or the setting. That's where Atlas (and yourself maybe) gets confused and starts calling TRPers gay. They aren't reading into the pictures as much as you women are.

And i'm not talking about just the feminist subreddits either. Even the more neutral ones have a dire opinion of red pill. Women of reddit are typically feminist, liberal and/or sjws. I'm just bothered by all of the guys who keep talking about their life experiences like it reflects on the lives of 3.5 billion men. Lol you say that then you say this: Talking to women is enjoyable and fun. Women physically approaching men is not a rare occurence, it's not an exception. Approaching women is not work. The hypocrisy and lack of self awareness is starting to get old.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/18 12:54 AM
8

I do still think that even if you're not the type of woman to approach, by wearing makeup, nice clothes, you're making yourself more approachable, so it's not like women aren't making any effort. How do we distinguish between those women and the ones who apparently do all those things for themselves and not for men to notice them?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/04/18 12:33 AM
1

Maybe. I never heard of those things. It's the theory that women notice consciously and subconsciously and aren't attracted to males with small hands, wrists or skeletal frame/structure (not the way trp refers to frame).

Probably right but that bald lesbian was telling people he was bullied for a reason (implying he deserved it) so it seems the younger ones knew about him being bullied. Some could've possibly participated.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 09:25 PM
1

You defend the bullying of mentally ill people. Maybe you should fix your toxic personality before blaming your problems on your skin colour and gender.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 09:25 PM
2

Too many buzzwords and there you go predictably pointing the finger and deflecting blame. This conversation has turned to your American culture war, which I don't care enough to argue about, when it was originally calling you out for supporting the bullying of mentally ill people.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 08:25 AM
1

Mass shootings aren't as common as everyday gang violence. Of course people want to know their motivations and why they snapped. The media also plays it up to push the anti gun agenda. And every time someone points out that gun related deaths in the black community are a lot more common and the reason is due to fatherless homes they get called racist. Maybe more black people need to start calling out their own instead of calling everyone who does call them out racist.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 06:39 AM
2

That's funny coming from a (black?) feminist woman. Don't cry when you push someone over the edge and they dish it back.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 05:39 AM
1

Maybe for some people that's the case. But being more realistic, let's say I'm content being lazy and messy and I love myself (you gotta love yourself before someone loves you amirite?), therefore telling me to be myself means I'll continue doing and being as is. Why does op (of this comment) get to decide what is and isn't me? Adding "be the best version of you" is another stipulation. It isn't and shouldn't automatically be understood that that's what someone means when they say "be yourself".…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/18 05:33 AM

Not their fault Maybe he was bullied because he was a psycho. Pick one. Yes the adults failed but why are you defending the bullying of mentally ill people?

How'd that turn out for the bullies?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/18 11:46 PM

Sorry for the delay in replying I think we're not going to agree but I do agree with this Then he's going to have to have a good long think about what his goals really are and if they do include being attractive to women. If they do, he should probably suck it up. If he decides that not, in the end, that important to him he should just buy a waifu shaped fuck-pillow. "Is the juice worth the squeeze?" basically. I know what you're saying, "do stuff that women find attractive". What if the neckbeard has no interest in any of the hobbies that women find attractive and is only genuinely interested in computers, games, comic books? What you're saying to him is "women don't like that stuff, here do this other stuff that they find interesting". How is that not telling someone to be something they're not?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/18 05:48 AM
3

NOR did you happen to work out, at any stage, that RP absolutely does not advise being "something other than you are not" (thats PUA, with their scripts and fakery). Your post IS telling someone to be something they are not. You rationalize that it's not by putting "develop genuine interest" in front of things you think guys should be doing to become more attractive. I've seen a few of you (yourself included) advise guys to buy a motorbike, gets tats and deal drugs in order to get laid. I don't …

/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/18 05:55 AM

So the workaround for you was "be good looking"? Conversation and social skills were not an issue. By this do you mean you had no problems with those things or that your looks made those things a non issue?

20 in April. 20 what? You told 20 girls in April you're a bum or you're turning 20 years old in April? If it's the latter, well that's a bit different to being almost 30 and telling them you're unemployed.

The males said I was prudish/probably frigid, the females said I was unempowered and was letting toxic notions of purity keep me from being happy. This type of "shaming" implies that it's your choice to be a virgin where as the implication with shaming male virgins is that they're unwanted and therefore losers. Very big difference.

A lack of social awareness is usually what makes a situation creepy. I read somewhere (don't remember if it was on ppd or elsewhere on reddit) that if a guy approaches a woman who is obviously out of his league then that means he lacks social awareness.

So why not skip acquiring status and vast wealth and just live a moderately stress free life and fuck escorts from time to time? And lol everyone needs validation to some degree. With this type of discussion pictures and measurements are needed to get our arguments across because words like "massive" are highly subjective and I can easily counter your point by saying I was lean (visible veins in quads, bi's, lower abs) yet this did nothing for me because I was small (39" chest, 14.5" bi's). Example - looks fairly muscular in a tank and a pump. In a normal t shirt no pump, not so much

I thought the human body wants to do the least amount possible to survive? Muscle is expensive. Yeah we can build it with enough stimulus and energy supply (food/protein) but it's not "stupid easy" with "minimal effort" required. It will grow only as much as is necessary to lift the required resistance which is why it needs to be progressively overloaded to keep growing. Obviously compared to women it's easy and if that's what you meant I agree.

But why does staying in on weekends define YOU? Because it's an example of a major trait/behaviour that influences the actions I take in my life. On any given weekend night I'll be at home, not boozing it up in a loud club, and I'll enjoy the peace and quiet. If I met a woman who is the opposite of that, chances are she'd quickly lose interest due to incompatibility because to her I'd be boring. Guys are told they have to change themselves to attract women, which is usually true and fair enough if that's what they choose to do, but they're also told that they should make all these changes only for themselves and not women, even if these changes don't line up with their personalities and interests. Be honest about why you're doing it and don't go around calling guys out on pedestalising women when you're doing the same thing (not you personally but it's what I've noticed in the trp subs)…

Walking through a crowd without acknowledging the Alpha males or the attractive women - the ultimate in confidence - it says 'I know something you don't.' and makes men unsure of themselves and women want to prove that they're attractive. Leptin is the satiety hormone. Insulin shuttles carbs/glucose into muscles and fat cells for storage. I've seen the video you're referring to. Sure the carbs get stored into fat cells but if a person doesn't go over their energy balance that stored fat eventually gets used. Read this article. I agree with his point on insulin/leptin resistance and addiction (needing a dopamine hit) to sugar. That's what causes people to feel hungry and over eat which leads to weight gain and less movement which …

I try not to be a dickhead but it occasionally slips out. I've watched a bunch of Taubes' videos some years ago. Can't say I agree with his claims/conclusions. That's what I said. You didn't. You said lifting huge weights = ego lifting. You didn't say anything about poor form. The switch to body building needs him to drop the ego. Yes if he chooses to switch disciplines he'll have to lower the weight. He's training for a powerlifting comp though not bodybuilding. Lowering the weights won't help him perform.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/06/17 12:51 AM

No, ego lifting is when you lift more weight than you can handle with poor form. This can be done with any sort of weightlifting (olympic, powerlifting, strongman, bodybuilding). Training to increase one's 1rm for a powerlifting comp doesn't automatically make it "ego lifting".

Game is for neutral girls, the ones to whom you pass the looks threshold but if you're beta they won't hesitate to drop you. There's no game for girls who don't find you physically attractive (maybe status or money). And I'm talking about that 30-40% number you threw out. The ones that laugh at your jokes are the ones that already find you physically attractive. It's not that you were so "alpha" and displayed your "don't give a fuck" attitude that did it for them.

I'm not confusing them. My point was that during the 5-6 years prior to starting TRT his testosterone levels didn't improve naturally through lifting and diet alone. Same with me, lifting, diet, losing body fat, improved sleep had no effect on my testosterone. Again that's due to genetics and isn't always within our control.

Lifting won't fix bad genetics. You can compensate somewhat with steroids but not everyone is willing to do that just for women.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/17 03:47 AM

You're right. I should clarify. Someone with a naturally wide frame will have an easier time looking more muscular and have a greater potential for muscle growth. A person with a narrow frame can become jacked like this guy on the left but usually only with steroids otherwise they end up looking like that guy I posted a few posts up (thejoshyc).

I guess I was right, around 200lb or 190, depends on height you could look jacked, and that depends if on the juice, 3d delts make a dif. I think frame, muscle insertions and muscle bellies are more important. I was 170-175 10-12% bodyfat at 5'8 and was still small looking while Scott Herman at 177 is what I'd consider jacked. Agreed on the last paragraph.

Being a social/talkative person is way more important than having muscles. No one is going to bother with the guy who sits there quietly and only gives one word answers no matter how much muscle he has, unless he's a 9+/10, because face>all.

I agree with the other guy. I've got a small frame, poor muscle building genetics. Was told to eat so I did. Ballooned to 200lb at 5'8. Benched 286x1 and overhead pressed 180 for 5x3. I basically just got fat. Waist was 36 inches, arms barely grew to 15. I eventually cut down to 165, was ripped but small as fuck.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/17 12:53 AM

Not at all. Building muscle is a biological reaction to a resistance stimulus. Plastic surgery is not natural in any way.

I fucked up. Only one or two sentences from that whole thing served to get my point across which was that positive/negative thinking doesn't equal a self fulfilling prophecy. The actions taken to achieve a goal are what's important. And for some certain goals aren't achievable no matter how much action they take or how much positive thinking they do. Luck is also a huge factor.

This has nothing to do with the fact that if one gender didn't exist none of us would exist. Women carrying the child and giving birth doesn't make them exempt from criticism. And are you actually saying women have children purely for selfless reasons and they don't ever want them at all?

I agree if he said those things before the boyfriend comment that would make him look low value. At the point he said those things it didn't really matter. The part where I'd be stuck is the part where she finished talking about her job and op said he wanted to say hi because she's cute.
/r/seduction09/04/17 06:20 AM

I would say don't justify why you are talking to her How would you have continued at that point? He was already rejected before he said that.

Maybe 6.5 at best with lifting, grooming, clothing style, or at least that used to be the case. Now with bad skin and being 5'8 maybe 4-5. It includes some nuanced things like understanding when there's a negative air around, understanding when someone is flirting, understanding when someone is trying to be friendly. I consider my social skills as sub-par (although I think that's mainly due to anxiety) but the above is generally easy to tell except for maybe flirting if it's too subtle. I thought this was considered a basic part of social skills.

Right but that's down to fit, not the type of clothing. Putting on a suit doesn't automatically mean a person dresses well. The type of outfit OP describes sounds like typical office wear which is mostly bloopy guys.

I don't give two shits about money. Ok but other people do. My point is it's time consuming. Look up "game." It works. Less attractive guys will need to play a numbers game (again time consuming) for their "game" to work. That's silly. I think so too but most humans want that. Having multiple partners does this even more :) Yep but again see my first two points. Most guys aren't able to do that.
/r/seduction03/04/17 11:46 PM

They also have less muscle mass which means a need for fewer calories than men but like most people who are overweight they eat more calories than they burn.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/03/17 03:11 AM
2

So "game" is playing the numbers game (finding a girl who's physically attracted to you) and sorting out logistics? I agree but most people who talk about game and PUA seem to think it's more than that.

Look up "indicators of interest". Here's one video - https://youtu.be/SBOtj1RmaUE?t=1m30s You take advantage by initiating a conversation, flirting, and escalating verbally and physically.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 03:35 AM

Staring is an IOI, an approach invitation. No you're not top tier attractive enough to be outright approached, most men aren't, but most men don't get women staring at them either.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 01:18 AM
1

All they do is stare at me. Oh no, you poor semi-Chad, complaining about women showing interest in you but not automatically hopping on your dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/17 12:17 AM
2

Agreed. I have a couple of anecdotes which I won't bother typing out but in my (limited) experience it's always been the case where if the woman shows that she finds you attractive there is no "game", it's just a matter of not completely fucking up and escalating.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/17 11:57 PM

Is it that abnormal to not want to lead or follow and just do your own thing?

/r/seduction25/03/17 02:11 AM

Chasing women is time consuming, time that can be used towards making money. Most guys aren't attractive enough to have a steady stream of women for sex. Most guys want a family and kids eventually. Most humans crave sex and relationships to validate them. Having a partner does this.
/r/seduction25/03/17 02:07 AM
1

trying to out drink they boys, or bragging about sexual exploits, or whatever. Ah I see. Yeah that's a major turn off.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/17 02:24 AM
1

Right, that makes sense. such as hitting or teasing or other displays of dominance, it usually goes over equally well. As in not at all. Isn't this just bantering, which is common? My friend and his wife always banter and try to verbally one up each other. Another friend always challenged and got challenged by women. I find it annoying but it seems it's the norm.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/17 01:58 AM
1

Aren't girls/women also very subtle with the way they "approach" (smiling, eye contact, hair flicking, being in a guys' vicinity, etc)? How don't they pick up on it when a guy is showing interest in a similar manner?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/17 11:36 PM
2

If they don't want your kids, give 'em something else to want. Are you advocating being a beta bux and raising another man's kids?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/03/17 02:06 AM
2

It's easy to avoid eye contact with random people who you aren't directly interacting with. I do it all the time by staring straight ahead.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/03/17 12:17 AM
2

Are you an 8+/10? If not you won't see any benefit. Average guys would still have to do the approaching and be judged mainly on personality to be considered worthy.
/r/seduction13/03/17 04:40 AM
1

Then would you say day time cold approaching is mostly useless for those who aren't good looking (since even they have to play a big numbers game to find a woman who would be receptive to take time out of their day to talk to them)?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/17 01:11 AM
1

If I say "hello" to someone and they give me the cold shoulder I'm not just going to keep talking at them like a socially inept weirdo I agree. there have been plenty of times I'm busy or preoccupied or have something going on that prevents me from wanting to talk to a stranger, no matter how good looking they are. Is this a hypothetical or has it actually happened where someone you found attractive tried starting a conversation with you and you weren't receptive because you were preoccupied?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/17 12:47 AM
1

He keeps it simple. He says "hello" and if she shows interest, he goes from there. Do you literally mean as soon as "hello" comes out of his mouth if she doesn't look receptive he shouldn't bother or do you mean an actual conversation needs to be started? If it's the former doesn't that mean it completely comes down to if she finds him physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/17 12:13 AM

I do all these except for 3. It sounds like cbt which I think is bogus. I can challenge my thinking and there are only two possibilities for a thought: it's either rational or irrational. In the case of it being irrational my mind would just end the rational part of the argument with a "yeah well shut up" and continue believing the thought. If the thought is indeed rational then it just cements the anxiety. Either way it doesn't just go away because I tried to logically jiu jitsu it.

To me self esteem is when you believe you have qualities and the belief that you are good enough for people to like you. Self respect is when you don't allow yourself to be knowingly used or mistreated. Self esteem is more important because with self esteem comes self respect where as it doesn't work like that in reverse.

An extroverted action man basically. Do you actually believe that that's the type of personality an average looking guy needs to get laid? One comment up suggests you don't: There are so many dudes in the world, dude. Most of them are paired-up. Most are ugly or fat or there's nothing remarkably masculine about them. They still get paired up and have children and have girlfriends and have casual sex.

Yes a couple don't find 1 attractive at all and one has her as his first pick. They're a small minority while the rest of us agree that 2 and 3 are obviously hot, which one is hotter is down to preference.

No one is saying they're not attractive. The only disagreement is who's hotter which is down to personal preference. This differs a lot to when women are asked to judge men and one says a guy is hot but another finds him completely ugly.

How does a lucrative career affect a woman's value in the sexual marketplace? The more successful she is or aims to be, the more she'll want her partner to at least match her status. This will make her more picky and men who can't match her won't even bother trying which shrinks her dating pool. Does it matter as much as having a great ass? A pleasing personality? It probably makes a difference to rich men who want to avoid gold diggers but to most looks and personality are more important.

From time to time I've seen posts such as this one that talks about IOI's Rule 3 - For women there are no coincidences Explanation: Women are 100% of the time aware of all of the men around them. They are hyper-vigilant and every detail of their choices is chosen based on purpose. I have tested this considerably and have come to the conclusion that if a woman is attracted to you, she will be near you. Likewise, if a woman is not attracted to you, she will purposefully distance herself from you. …

Men say "it's so hot when a women cooks for me naked" That's in the context of an already established sexual relationship. And since the guy is having sex with the woman then it's assumed that he finds her attractive. No one is going to offer that as advice if a woman asks "How do I get a guy to notice me?".

I hate asking job questions because you'll inevitably get them asked back. An alternative to "what do you do?" which I read in a book called How To Talk To Anyone is "How do you spend most of your time?”. That way the person has the option of choosing what they want to talk about.

People won't notice as much as you think they do. It's all about your actions, not about how you look. People have noticed and pointed it out. And if your skin is so bad that you can't go outside for fear of being seen as freak, then just conceal it in some way. I do but it's not really a long term solution.

I have no reason to lie. It wasn't by accident, it was after a couple of years of interrupted training due to other sports and then 6 months of just lifting. No you don't need to eat healthy if all you're going for is strength and don't care about aesthetics. Calories and protein are more important in that regard. If you open your eyes and actually look around in the REAL WORLD — (not in movies and TV and internet comments) — you’ll constantly see guys who are total dweebs dating girls you’d bite off your left arm to bang. Funnily enough I always see this claim in internet comments but in the real world it doesn't play out that way. Most people I see are looks matched. If anything I see women with guys who are more attractive than them.

Once, indirect but the circumstances lead me to believe she was looking for something to happen, post wall, suburban street. My smv is not for me to judge but I'm probably average. Was walking home carrying shopping bags, a Hummer drives by then makes a U-turn and drives up to me, the woman asked me if I needed a ride home. People don't usually do this type of thing especially women. I declined for numerous reasons.

Depends. A beta guy will probably only be pursuing one girl at a time, become her friend and be nice (like he's told to do). He might do this anywhere from a few months to a few years before he confesses his true feelings for her. And he might learn from that one burn or it could take a couple more, which could add up to years. If they have a successful (with women) role model to instill wisdom into them, the learning curve might be cut down. Girls/women are taught that men only want one thing s…

Well back to this specific case, the bf's partner counter was 2, the woman is "experienced". If she was just switching up strategies because her previous one wasn't working, it took her far too long to realise the previous one was ineffective. By the third pump and dump she should've figured it out, not after 10+ years. You don't seriously believe that do you? This is a classic case of AFBB.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/16 07:23 AM

Most guys don't get to fuck around. Isn't the average lifetime partner count for men something like 7? And that's probably inflated due to men lying about their number.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/07/16 03:23 AM
4

From reading her post, it looks like her past strategy didn't work very well for her, so she is trying something new. She's 30, let's say she started having sex at the latest at 20. She says she's "experienced". Do you think it really took her 10 years to figure out her previous strategy wasn't working? She's either really stupid or knew what she was doing all along, AFBB.

I wonder if this is similar to the nofap placebo where if you feel you're actively working towards a goal you gain confidence. Or it could be this: most people I see who haven't seen for a long time will comment on how great I am looking. I remember the same happened to me when I switched to a better routine and started eating more. Confidence boost because of people's approval. It obviously went away once the gains slowed and no one ever said anything anymore.

I was asking about things I wanted to buy. I don't see how it would look forceful to an observer. I mean you're not wrong since all social interactions with random people are forceful in my mind but to an outsider I was just enquiring about products. Good tip on the environment and asking questions of passion but she wasn't giving me any indications that she wanted to talk and asking personal questions would've seemed out of place.
/r/seduction10/07/16 11:30 PM

I was at a health food store today. I asked questions about some products and added my input about some things. Not living for other people but lets not pretend that someone so far outside the norm would have success eg Op wanting to walk around naked. You asked if he ever wore a shirt that made him look good. What if he's jacked and ripped and thinks he looks good naked? Should he walk around in the nude now? I get what you're saying, I agree with it, until you get to the part where you think you're completely doing it for yourself regardless of other peoples approval.
/r/seduction08/07/16 01:36 AM
1

Sure one girl's opinion won't matter, maybe even 10 girls. But say a whole club or people on a daily basis tell you your shirt is ugly. You wouldn't feel good in it for long. At this point it does seem as if I'm overthinking things but my point is you feel good wearing/doing something as long as it's socially acceptable and won't garner widespread disapproval. Streetparker in the comments already said it pretty much.
/r/seduction07/07/16 05:26 AM
1

I'm not the one overthinking it. We do things other people approve of so we can get ahead socially or at the very least not get shunned. Dressing well makes us feel good because we're more likely to get this approval. Approval makes us feel good. I admit this but you and others in this thread are rationlizing it as doing it for yourselves.
/r/seduction07/07/16 02:27 AM
1

If there were no other humans on Earth, would you care how broad your shoulders looked in a shirt? There wouldn't be anyone else to notice or judge. You feel good in those clothes because girls will potentially notice otherwise you wouldn't care.

From the book "Magic Bullets" A neg is a very strong disqualification tool that can also raise your value. A neg is something that appears to be communicated with positive or at least neutral intent toward a woman, but “inadvertently” betrays that you notice that she is not perfect. For example, the classic neg, “nice nails, are they real?” is somewhat of a compliment, until she admits that her nails are fake. “You blink a lot” (said neutrally) or “your nose wiggles when you talk” (said as if yo…

Now as I said - staring into girl's eyes can either generate instant attraction or be borderline creepy. If you're getting no blushes or smiles from the girls you're passing by then something's wrong. And I can easily guess what it is. That's where your smile comes into play. On the rare occasion I get eye contact, it always starts when I'm about 5 metres away from the girl and we're walking towards each other. This isn't enough time for me to notice if she's looking at me specifically and if I …

Hypothyroidism also causes low testosterone so before jumping straight to injections make sure your thyroid is working properly. I had sub-clinical hypothyroidism and my testosterone levels always came back at between 260 and 350. Recently I found out I now have hyperthyroidism but my testosterone went up to just over 700. Symptoms of low t are still there though.

You can create interest where there previously was none is my point. I know but I don't completely agree with that. My take on it is that that's only possible if she finds you physically attractive but just didn't notice you right away. Social proof (unless it's by models or celebs) and approaching directly won't make you attractive enough if a woman thinks you're ugly/average/not good looking enough.

It feels like no women are interested. If these are your shoes then I'm wearing them. I get maybe one woman a month giving me eye contact.

I don't agree. Women might not be as visually oriented but they aren't too far behind men. In the video example she probably liked him already but put on a front either consciously or subconsciously. I think if a guy was high value with abundance, why would he bother chasing a woman who, even if it's a front, doesn't show IOIs immediately? He'd move onto women who actually want to be around him. And a woman like in the video would too high maintenance anyway.

They wouldn't improve their game much When a girl is into you, you don't need much game. The interactions just flow. Basic social skills, not agreeing with everything she says and not being clingy is all you need really. they would hardly ever get laid Approaching women who have no interest in them won't remedy this. would never get abundance mentality. Getting rejected over and over won't help that. Low smv guys need to improve their smv first. Oblivious guys need to learn IOIs.

Let's leave out the guys who don't pick up on IOIs. What's the purpose of approaching without IOIs if the most likely outcome is rejection? Don't say to get used to rejection because if you only go after women who are interested, rejection rate will be low.

Maybe I'm lazy or have too much pride (both probably) but I just wouldn't bother chasing a chick who gives this much resistance from the start. If she doesn't show that she likes me (and not through all this subtle body language) while actively pretending she doesn't, wouldn't that put me in the chaser frame trying to convince her I'm cool. In my mind a guy with value and abundance wouldn't have time for that and would rather interact with people that want to be around him.

My question would be, do the omegas even want popularity? Depends whether the person is an extrovert or introvert and how much social interaction they crave. It doesn't matter. The most attractive guys are the least attractive guys, if they can't hold eye contact or look like lumps of potatoes in the corner. Of course it matters. I don't really care about their social standing Women do though. You being a DJ (high status position at a party) at a rich friend's mansion (you associate with high status individuals) gives you automatic status. You obviously put in the effort to get to that point though, it just didn't come across that way in the OP.

Frankly, I would say that hooking up with the new girl was far more important than any "mental fortitude" in getting you back on your feet. You won't find anybody without abundance mentality preaching about having it because it's almost impossible to have without actual options.
/r/seduction03/03/16 03:39 AM

Well that and being friends with someone who lives in a mansion so he himself might be rich, or at least is a part of a high status social circle.

For me it's not that I lose interest, it's that I'd rather take the ego boost than continue an interaction and fuck it up along the way. So I still find them attractive and take the validation.

Is this field tested or just theory? I've seen infield of PUA's saying they're shy when it's obvious to the girl they're not. I was going to make a post on this sort of approach and ask how to actually allow myself to look weak in front of others when I've built up this self image of a cool, calm and collected individual who doesn't get phased or show emotions, which isn't really true. Any tips?
/r/seduction01/03/16 04:10 AM

How do you omit it? The "what do you do?" question comes up pretty much right away. Sure you can making up some obviously fake job to get a laugh but if the woman is persistent it'll be obvious you're dodging the question for some reason.

Is this bar like a pub or something? The bars I'm used to are always full of groups of people who go to buy their drinks together, sit at a table together or dance together, bartenders barely stop serving drinks. No one would notice a random guy standing/sitting there by himself no matter how good his posture is (lol)

Are you normally talkative or more on the introverted side even with friends? I noticed the same thing about myself and it was really solidified this weekend. I was out with a friend's social circle at a loud bar. A girl was sitting next to me periodically throughout the night and would talk to me for a bit. I'd make a comment, maybe ask her a question, tease her, but for the most part I couldn't be bothered trying to keep the conversation going. I'd just sit back and observe. It wasn't a fear o…

Quote from one of the comments TRP advocates lifting because it will make EVERY aspect of you stronger, not just looks. Mental fortitude, physical strength, discipline and willpower, aesthetics, even some spiritual strength for some. I can't be the only one that hasn't experienced these supposed benefits in other areas of life and I've been lifting for close to 10 years and played a sport competitively. I just never found it to be true for me.

Whereas, if you approach a woman with the mindset of going out to socialize and meet new people, you would be free from the need to attain a particular result. Is there a more helpful mindset for those of us who don't find socializing and meeting people that fun. Even hanging out with friends is a chore. I need to focus on getting a (positive) result when I do something. This whole outcome independence, don't worry about results isn't really a mindset I can easily adopt.

You can't be shy and have social confidence at the same time. James Bond isn't shy. You give her a look. A look that wreaks of weakness maybe. A shy person won't be able to give the confident look you're thinking of. You should have used the word 'introvert' in place of shy. An introvert is usually on the quieter side but can be just as confident as anyone.

But is it their fault that from a young age they're taught to "game" that way? Whether I like bars or clubs isn't the issue. I was replying to /u/wtknight who claimed that being forward with women is only appropriate at these venues but at any other place it's a crime apparently. I know. My point was if TRP is to be believed then it's not that women find the motivation and discipline that goes into lifting a turn on, it's that muscles indicate good genes. The girls who workout will probably appreciate the effort that goes into lifting, I don't know about the ones who don't though.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/16 05:20 AM
1

I've seen it said on TRP that women don't want to know about the effort a man puts into what he does, they want it to look effortless (or natural). In that case muscles would indicate good genes.

He focuses on the women's insecurities and sets himself up to act around that. Can you give an example of how he exploits their insecurities? His biggest goto is to lie and he makes the girl "fall in love with him" first. What does he lie about to make them fall in love? Sorry for all the questions but TRP and PUA harps on about self improvement to get laid but there are guys like your friends who just do without it. And 5-7's are fine with me.
/r/TheRedPill25/01/16 07:29 AM

They figured out their psychology, how to lie, how to pull it off without improving themselves. Now these guys aren't fat, but they aren't ripped either. One guy has belly. There's a fix in the behaviorism necessary to pull women. Can you expand a little bit on the psychology and behaviours thing? Have you got any insights into what they figured out and what they do to get laid without the constant self improvement?

Basically self esteem is the value you see yourself having in the world. “Am I worthwhile human being?” Answer that question with a yes and the chances are you have pretty high self esteem. What I'm saying is the title of your post/video would be misleading if you didn't at least get a date with this girl. You claim you don't need good game (zero game in fact) to pick up a girl, what's the point of a number if she never replies? Now if the point of the video was to show that someone who has good social skills and is confident that they can go out and have a conversation with a random girl then this is a good example.
/r/seduction07/12/15 01:25 AM

Think about power poses and how they've been found to increase testosterone. http://arstechnica.com/science/2015/04/power-poses-might-not-be-so-powerful-after-all/ An attempt at replication using additional controls, published recently in Psychological Science, found no behavioral or hormonal effects of “power poses," although they did result in a boost in subjective perception of power. In other words, the original research did not hold up.

Throw someone who is shy, low energy, and or quiet into a setting with multiple women the success rate drops to below 0% That describes me and that's pretty much the result.
/r/seduction11/09/15 12:34 PM

you will attract women that will connect with you on a far deeper level than if you put a facade. What if I just want a ONS? Low energy introvert game seems more like playing the long game. What you're describing as an alpha is an omega - one who lives outside civilization, owes nothing to anyone and is owed nothing. They're the renegades, the lone wolves. That's also appealing to women and female wolves, and it's great to be free and without ties, but they will never be in charge of anything. Isn't that Sigma? /r/seduction17/07/15 08:01 AM

The ONLY person in the entire world who knows how anxious, self-conscious, depressed, sad, or afraid you are is YOU. I had a job interview where I was called out for being nervous even though I thought I was masking it pretty well. And I was nowhere near as nervous as I would've been if this was approaching a girl. It's funny some people say girls are masters at reading body language and then others completely contradict that. Which is it?
/r/seduction16/07/15 11:18 AM

When you jump in, your brain reacts to you being IN THE MOMENT and it will take over the work for you. It will put you into a good state of mind. It will make you confident, relaxed, and easygoing. It will make you talking to the most gorgeous girl at the bar no big deal at all. Not been my experience. I've been forced into a 'jump in' before. I panicked, said a couple of words then got the fuck out of there.

It doesn't sound like you faked anything, your job just brought you out of your shell. And not showing your insecurities publicly right at the beginning is what most people do. I wouldn't call that faking, more like concealing or withholding an aspect of yourself.
/r/seduction08/07/15 12:28 PM

it leaves you with no options but to say something or it will be weird as fuck. My friend once dragged me over to a girl I thought was hot and said "hey meet my friend" to her. Agreed. Lifting and having good posture might make you look confident but if you can't back that up with actual confidence and social skills/ability to talk to women, that whole image goes out the window. I'm also still incel.

Yep 21 days, maybe a few extra. I did the "theatre of the mind" exercise. Whatever the instructions were for that, that's what I did (it was a few years ago so I don't remember exactly).
/r/seduction13/04/15 11:34 AM

I tried this for approach anxiety and being social in general. Didn't help.
/r/seduction13/04/15 12:42 AM

Well you're telling me to look for women double taking and giving prolonged eye contact. This does not happen to me. I'm lucky to even get a glance. I'm average looking, 5'8 and in decent shape. So I figure there's a threshold in attractiveness you have to meet for this to happen.
/r/seduction22/03/15 10:25 PM
-1

How physically attractive and what height do you need to be to actually have women looking at you?
/r/seduction22/03/15 12:14 PM
1

Is this your experience or just an assumption? A year ago I was fairly lean (veins showing in lower abs and quads) but the size wasn't (still isn't) there. In plain clothes I was DYEL and in fitted shirts/t's I probably looked like a try hard beginner trying to show off any small amount of gains. I think you have to be noticeably big to stand out. And where I'm from a lot of guys lift.
/r/TheRedPill26/02/15 03:44 AM
1

Just as I thought, you gotta be noticeably big to see any benefits.
/r/TheRedPill26/02/15 03:44 AM
3

Ok, how big does one have to be to actually notice the benefits that are talked about here? Post example pics.
/r/TheRedPill25/02/15 11:41 AM

Yeah the meeting up will be difficult. Still I wil urge you to just continue talking to her/ trying to meet up. She's desperate for some social contacts and you need the experience. If I decide to do that, do I respond as I have been doing (flirty, fun) or just short and to the point?
/r/askTRP09/02/15 02:37 AM
1

On a side note, personally I've found that the less effort (msgs/talking) you put into chasing pussy the quicker/easier it happens. So how would you respond to her? Keep it casual, or short and to the point and just throw it out there that if she wants to meet up she'll have to drive to my town?
/r/askTRP09/02/15 02:36 AM
1

You probably will always be that guy if you're low confidence + social anxiety. I probably over exaggerated. If I can clearly see the girl is interested I can make a move, obviously more easily with alcohol. But if there are no obvious signs then I'd probably give up after the first date, I've done that before. I might be a pussy when it comes to being a social person but I'll never supplicate or try to win over a girl. I have too much pride to be doing that.
/r/askTRP08/02/15 11:28 PM
1

True, I know all this. At this point I'm trying to fake it though which is why I asked the question about how a guy with options would react.
/r/askTRP08/02/15 11:28 PM

This is what I would do but she's 35 miles away, doubt she'd invest that much effort. Plus she's young and attractive so she could line up multiple dates for any day of the week. Ultimate abundance.

You immediately should've made solid, clearcut plans. Yeah I know I fucked up there. At the time my thought process was I didn't want to look like I didn't have any plans already since this conversation happened on the Friday. And also the anxiety got to me.
/r/askTRP08/02/15 11:27 PM

I do lift, hasn't helped much with confidence. One of my pics is a bathroom selfie from when I was at my leanest and this chick clicked the "Meet Me" feature on POF which is why I messaged her. So she was obviously attracted.
/r/askTRP08/02/15 11:26 PM
1

Only reason I thought of pursuing her was because she's the one who wanted to "Meet Me" (POF's show interest feature). That and the fact my friend met some girl at a disco bowling place about the same distance away, talked for 5 mins, got her number, texted for less than a week and she drives down to him, fucks and now he has plate. Fucker makes it look easy.
/r/askTRP08/02/15 11:26 PM
1

Cheers that's a good tip. When I talk to people my arms are usually just by my side or thumbs in pockets.
/r/seduction04/02/15 12:31 PM
1

Now obviously if you're in an uncomfortable interaction, chances are touching someone would only make it more uncomfortable I think you nailed it for me here. I find talking to strangers uncomfortable or neutral at best so trying to add light touches seems out of place for me.
/r/seduction04/02/15 12:29 PM
16

How do you incorporate random touches into a normal conversation? I mean I'm sure I must have done it while talking to friends at some point but I can't recall the last time. Any videos where I can see this action because I'm trying to picture it and in my mind it comes across as weird/unnecessary.
/r/seduction04/02/15 12:48 AM
1

How did you get to the point of going out with them? Did they ask you? To answer your heading - work on not being shy. If you're shy around women you're fucked (figuratively).
/r/seduction20/01/15 03:48 AM
1

He spent the whole conversation trying to convince her to give him her number. Is it just me or does this seem needy as fuck?

delaying the inevitable because sooner or later you will have to play the game Why is it inevitable? Who says? And if true then he can play when he feels the urge to.

I'm also reserved like the OP so I guess for club settings I wasn't fun/social enough. Combine that with average looks and it's easy to see how such a thing is possible.
/r/askTRP18/08/14 12:34 PM
1

It's definitely possible. I'm close to the same age. Wasn't a hermit until about 3 years ago. Before that would go out to clubs/bars/house parties most weekends, drink, hang out with friends. Was always in decent shape. Only got a handful of club make outs over those years. Closest I came to sex was a couple of months ago when I was overseas. The girl was attracted to me so not much game on my part.
/r/askTRP18/08/14 09:50 AM

Curious, how little was very little?
/r/askTRP11/08/14 01:25 PM

Definitely. I need to try harder to implement this.
/r/TheRedPill04/03/14 08:56 PM

That's your problem. I'm not saying be unemployed, just don't be embarrassed. Deep down I am embarrassed though. I've used similar replies or just said "in between jobs" but it probably shows on my face (can't maintain eye contact, face starts to go red) that I'm ashamed. But seeing posts like yours and OP's inspire me to not give as much of a fuck about it.
/r/TheRedPill04/03/14 01:43 AM
1

Cool. That answers my question.
/r/TheRedPill04/03/14 01:42 AM
12

How? What do you tell 'em when they ask what you do? Do you joke about it or straight up say you don't have a job? I've been unemployed for longer than I'm willing to admit and it's one of the biggest reason why I've stopped socialising in general, it's a confidence killer.
/r/TheRedPill02/03/14 08:20 PM

I wonder if the replies to that teacher's post would be as supportive if the genders were reversed? Who am I kidding? We all know the answer to that.

You might like Todd. His style is much lower energy than Tyler or Julien

Eye contact for more than a split second is adrenaline provoking enough.
/r/seduction08/02/14 11:56 PM

So how muscular does one have to be to get any attention?
/r/TheRedPill11/01/14 05:49 AM

In general "what do you do?" is one of the first questions people ask so it can't really be avoided. Thanks for the offer but I don't have a job because of anxiety issues. Pick up/seduction is the last thing on my mind right now.
/r/seduction09/12/13 11:52 PM
2

So I should tell people I'm 27, unemployed and live with my parents?
/r/seduction08/12/13 03:03 AM

Honestly I've been working out for years, I played soccer competitively for 6-7 years but had to quit due to injury, I've gone out most weekends from ages 17-24. None of this helped to a great degree. I have regressed since I stopped these activities though (except for lifting). My social anxiety is probably bordering on a phobia at the moment and I have another medical issue that I feel really inhibits me mentally and physically. At the moment I need to sort these two things out and more before…

Oh I didn't mean to come off as believing my height is what's holding me back, there are other things. Height is probably the last thing on my mind. But in saying that, if all other factors were equal, the taller guy would be more successful. Things are never equal though.

With us, confidence comes from what we do, our achievements, our success when we are tested. If you have achieved or accomplished something, you will have more confidence. The harder you have been tested and came out on top, the more confidence you will have. Yep I know that, unfortunately I can't look to that for confidence since I haven't achieved anything. When/if I do I'm hoping the confidence will follow. It doesnt matter where you are in life, you have something women want. You have a cock…
/r/TheRedPill18/10/13 02:58 AM

I've never been confident so I don't know what it feels or looks like other than walking around with good posture and not looking at the ground. Maybe when I was drunk, on a few occasions I felt confident, but who knows what I did.

Manlet is below average height male At 6' you're taller than 99% of women already so it's going to be more noticeable when you actually stand up straight. At my height they're usually close to or taller than me so it doesn't make much difference. Then again it could just be my face.
/r/TheRedPill17/10/13 11:16 PM

How tall are you? As a 5'8 manlet who always walks around with good posture I've never noticed any positive reactions, or any reactions for that matter.
/r/TheRedPill17/10/13 12:29 AM

I can confirm. I'm a 5'8 manlet who doesn't look like he lifts and average looking. When I used to go clubbing I'd stand around looking uninterested, bored and pissed off and nobody approached me.

It's an exaggeration to show that you can't just pretend to not be nervous when your body language tells otherwise.
/r/seduction05/06/13 11:44 PM

Yeah brah, let me pretend my face hasn't turned bright red, my body isn't violently convulsing and I'm not stumbling over any words that may or may not come out of my mouth.

I'm still waiting on Tyler to do a video about 'broken man game', apparently it's possible. In the video where he promised to show us how to pick up with minimal socialising, he ended up telling us to kill ourselves. I want dark newbie game damn it.
/r/seduction19/02/13 12:10 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
