I don't think I've ever experienced someone blatantly checking their phone like that, seems crazy. I've had people check when they are receiving a call, or show me something on their phone, but what just blatantly start reading from their phone mid conversation ? Seems wild and yeah, I would just say 'nice meeting you but got to go'

Can you reverse the abundance mindset a bit ? I decided to cultivate it by dating a huge amount, hundreds of dates this year with around 100 women. But now it's at the point where I don't feel any attachment or positive emotion about women at all. There's no fear of loss but that's because I'm just meh about them to begin with. It works great for getting laid, sure, but the issue is you just care less so what's the point. The ideal scenario is seemingly to have a scarcity mindset and be needy bu…

I actually prefer being ghosted to rejection tbh, but that's maybe because I don't get invested. So out of sight out of mind. When someone sends a rejection it's always a small ego hit even if it shouldn't be.

From my experience, women don't notice the good physique unless you have a masculine vibe or energy to go along with it (which Brad Pitt in fight club had). Can you think of a character that has a great physique but a wimpy, fearful or feminine personality that is a sex symbol? I can't. I actually got into great shape before I worked on my confidence, and didn't notice a big difference. But once you have the right vibe, being in shape is a great attraction multiplier.

I did the self improvement arch the wrong way round. I got obsessed with gym and into really good shape in my mid 20s, and still struggled. Maybe did a little better than when I wasn't in shape but not really. Got compliments from guys though. I got obsessed with 'inner game', mental/emotional strength and confidence in my late 20s, and that's when I started to have seriously good results. Like 50x what I was doing before. I actually receive a lot of compliments on my physique from girls now, an…

Alcohol + Logistics + Strong Attraction + The type of girl more likely to have a one night stand (either extraverted/confident person that isn't going to get hurt from something casual, or someone really insecure and needy that will feel bad, but doesn't have the self control to stop herself).

I've had periods of 'seducing 1 new girl' every week or two, and periods of only getting with a new girl every couple of months yeah. Would I say I was happier and more fulfilled in the former periods ? Nope, not even close. Once you've had enough experience you realize quality is way more important than quality, and quality girls that you also have great chemistry with are pretty rare.

What do you mean better ? Better assumes that volume of lays is the be all and end all. As anyone who's gotten laid would know it's obviously not.

It's a stupid and pointless thing to ask if this is 'good', it's not good or bad. It's completely about what you want. Do not compare yourself to others and seek approval. Don't ever worry about or chase numbers. A guy sleeping with 1 or 2 women a year may be more content and self actualized than a guy sleeping with 50 women a year, or maybe not. Have as much sex as you can with every woman available , and devote a lot of time to game, or only have sex with really beautiful intelligent women tha…

it's not about one girl about a few of these that I've dated over the past few months. Maybe 4 or 5 to be specific. I just find these women more challenging even though I like them, because they have extremely high demands upfront, and go cold if you meet those demands. I'm not overthinking too much, I've already moved on from the ones I've dated and am onto the next. Just mentioned this because some guys here are very insistent that if you don't escalate to sex first 2 or 3 dates she doesn't li…

If they weren't actively using the apps they wouldn't show up in my stack. I just notice sometimes when I reset my profile once every few months that they are still there, still swiping looking for someone to be intentional with. If they are just using it for validation that's fine I guess, just seems a bit immature and sad. A bit contrary to what they say they value.

Yeah I mean, I agree. I am 6'2 and do you know how much that helped me when I lacked confidence as a teen/early 20s? It didn't do shit, I still did terrible. Obviously, it's an advantage, as is having a handsome face, as is having a head of hair, as is having a quick wit and good sense of humor, as is having a career driven mindset and financial success, as are so many different traits that we each have some of and not others. I feel like looks matter a lot, no doubt, but actually believing that looks don't matter is beneficial. If you are good looking you can absolutely fuck things up with a lack of confidence despite what incels claim. Even though looks probably matter a lot, there's no practical gain to be had from believing that they do, only negatives. In fact believing that looks don't matter will increase your success with the pool that is available to you. It's hard and a bit of a conundrum, but it's really fo…

Dating apps get too much hate here. I just feel once you find a good profile with good photos and good prompts , it's an unending stream of super attractive women. I just don't feel any need to do anything else since it's basically a box of infinite options at my finger tips. I'm sure a few of the guys in this thread got hit with the ugly stick too many times, but I bet there are a lot of guys who aren't that bad, just have shit photos and profiles, and could actually do well if they figured it …

That sounds slightly creepy. You shouldn't rely on needing someone to be in a chemically altered state to build romantic attraction and escalate. It's a crutch. Escalation is a natural process it doesn't need to be sped up. Work on your patience. Well, I mean this is just a lack of imagination. I always choose a cafe near a park so we can take a stroll afterwards if the vibe is good. I'm sure you can come up with other ideas. This is just a limiting belief, it's only as awkward or unnatural as y…

I'm actually genuinely curious about this mindset. I feel once you've dated enough girls, had enough girls that were into you, on the fence and uninterested, you get a good intuition on whether someone is into you or not. It's not down to one variable like, how long they take to sleep with you, how long they take to text back, how many compliments they give you, how long the dates are etc. it's all those things and more which you develop a strong intuition for. You can just tell in your gut whet…

For the millionth time now I never said 'just because', it's a trend, not a rule. There are always exceptions when dealing with human behaviour. Yes I will say, if a woman has stronger self control, and is seeking something serious, she will make the guy wait, because she wants to avoid getting used and then ghosted, which is what a lot of guys do. She will also require more emotional connection and investment in order to feel comfortable and safe enough to have sex. If a woman sleeps with a guy…

By the way I'm not saying that the woman having sex on the first or second date is what makes her dumb or loose, there's nothing wrong with that, or that her holding out makes her better. That's absolutely not true. What I was saying is that the girls I've slept with really quickly with just happened to be less intelligent, more into drinking and partying, more tattoos, less confidence and emotional stability, and the girls that were very caring/nurturing, more sheltered, more educated, sober an…

You are retarded. There is a thing called self control. Women will absolutely exercise self control if they want to avoid getting used and when they are seeking something serious. Just because she is attracted to you doesn't mean she suddenly is incapable of exercising restraint. Unless, as I said, they are loose and less intelligent, and they get drunk. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it's just a fact. Secondly, yeah there are loads of women from all types of backgrounds that hav…

Idk. Depends on the quality of the girl you are dating. I have had plenty of girls that I know were hugely into me; kissing, initiating texts, responsive, dropping other plans to see me, being very kind and nice, showing a lot of affection. Still, they didn't want to have sex that quickly, takes a good few dates, like 5 or 6. These women tended to be very classy, educated, introverted and reserved, strong family values and in good careers like doctors, lawyers, psychologists, studying phds etc. …

Yeah that's a fair point, I do actually do that a lot, and haven't found really ever had anyone object. I guess people mostly just always ask why and I'm lazy and cba explaining it. The truth is I do drink just not that much, and it's only because I'm a serial dater that I'm not drinking.

The way to adopt this mindset is to want to adopt this mindset , and to understand the nature of thought and simply redirect them into this repeatedly until it becomes your nature, I know as I have done that. Ego is largely something learned, though I'm sure biologically some are more predisposed one way than others , any one can change their pattern of thought with enough determination

Anything is possible dude, especially if they are already heavily attracted to you all those things fall by the wayside, just don't lead with it. It definitely does make things a pain in the ass though so I'd suggest prioritising getting your own place. If you have a chill flat mate that's not a big deal, living with the parents is a slightly tougher hulk to climb.

Another thing to note is niceness is often putting pressure on the other person to reciprocate, especially early in dating, makes them feel a bit constricted. It is showing subconsciously that you have expectations for this to lead somewhere. At the start you basically want them to feel like they can come and go freely and it's no big deal, so limit 'acts of extra niceness' like doing them favours, compliments, gifts (obviously), paying for everything, putting your schedule around them etc. Does…

It's complicated, but in general, it's not a bad thing in and of itself as others have said. Authenticity, emotional independence, confidence and strength are paramount, and being too nice can often mean these areas are lacking. That being said, there is evidence that dark triad or 'evil' traits themselves are attractive in and of themselves, I mean narcissists can do well with women, despite being the most insecure people ever, but I wouldn't say that it is a good idea to cultivate these or nec…

Do you though? I feel like when I'm confident and authentic and just do my thing, the girl is either into me or not. It doesn't really seem to matter how much or how long I take to induce sexual states, flirt, be physical etc. Similarly, with girls that aren't into me, it doesn't feel like any amount of engineering really does anything or change the outcome. As long as you remain emotionally strong, non-needy and not too sexually aggressive or lustful, I've found you don't really need to anythin…

Sounds like a trashy friend, trashy woman and trashy situation. You don't need any of those people in your life.
/r/seduction12/10/25 07:43 AM

It's not just your own confidence though, it's the woman's as well. I have no problem escalating or flirting sober because I've specifically honed that ability, but most women haven't. It's not that different it just takes a lot more time for her to get comfortable and reciprocate interest. Everything just happens way slower basically, over a few dates as opposed to one or two. It's not necessarily a bad thing.

Nah I agree with that, I guess for me dating loads is social skills practice as that's where I used to have problems. I have great male friends , not many issues chatting to strangers or colleagues or etc. I have been on dates with almost 100 women from apps this year, after previously only having limited or intermittent romantic success, and this year has been the biggest positive change in my personal confidence and social skills ever. The only thing to do is accept you will suck and embarrass yourself a few times and just send it. Yeah reading material and all that shit is great but it only gets you so far. All I've found that matters about game is your attractiveness, your emotional independence/self control and volume. That's really 95% of it I've found.

I mean can we not do multiple things at the same time? I'm already in amazing physical shape, doing well at my career etc, but it's not overnight you can get promoted a few times etc. It takes years.

The only way to really realize this is by having enough experiences of women into you versus women not interested in you develop a strong intuition. Sometimes women can throw curve balls and you don't always get it right, but in general I'd say I know with 90% accuracy about 30mins into a date if she's into me.
/r/seduction09/10/25 04:39 PM

It's really subtle for the most part, the only way to know it's happening is to experience it so much that you begin to pick up on it subconsciously. Then it becomes very obvious when a girl is into you versus when they aren't, but for inexperienced guys as I once was I definitely empathise with the challenge. Even girls that are quite into you will shy away from doing anything that too obviously gives it away, but they will make it easy for you to do things like touch etc. Sometimes girls can b…

That sucks man. Hope it doesn't happen to me, am so reliant on it. Were your chats sexual or riske at all? Did you piss off any girls IRL that you were still matched with on the app? Did you remake your profile a bunch of times in a short time frame ?

How do you balance this with not coming off not sexually aggressive or dominant enough?
/r/seduction05/10/25 04:42 PM

Yeah part of the issue is my standards are really high for an LTR, there are about 5 women who I could have had as a girlfriend this year, as in wanted commitment from me, and only really 1 I could have seen it with out of almost 80 women, and she didn't feel the same because I did fumble that one.

This is really great. My question is, since I'm going on a lot of dates, I feel a sense of abundance. I don't feel anxious or nervous on dates at all and I don't get attached easily anymore, and I can handle shit tests and rejection very well. I haven't been really 'trying' to do anything on dates except remain present, not overthink and be mindful and just in the moment and authentic. By the way like I said, even the women who I'm sleeping with see me as a nice guy. They say I'm sweet then they fuck me. That's happened like 5x this year. I don't know if I play it safe, I do the following: Tease Compliment Kino (Start with gentle touch (hands, leg etc), repeat and escalate to closer lingering touches. If touch is received positively I go for kiss and etc. Invite back to mine and escalate on the third or fourth date. Am I really still downplaying my sexuality? I could be more a…

It's not that only arseholes get girls, not at all. I get girls and I am not an arsehole. But women are in fact attracted to antisocial traits in and of themselves, not just the confidence or independence that comes with it. Some women through enough bad experiences, or because they had a very moral and secure upbringing, will choose to not pursue these relationships to avoid hurting themselves, but they are all attracted to it.

I don't find apps efficient for DTF girls. The vast majority of the attractive girls I date with are looking for something serious. Exactly yes. I think it's fine to be the way that I am. I think it's actually better, it's not like we need to get better to get these women. It's not getting better to become more evil. It's true to some extent , but scarcity still creates the perception of value in both genders, or healthy boundaries rather. For example , if a woman and a guy are dating and he doesn't want to commit, the only move she can make is by pulling back or making an ultimatum to commit or exit. If this triggers a fear of loss he may commit, while continued access and affection wouldn't achieve the same result. I agree with you on the pre selection mostly though, although men do get possessive and jeal…

Self awareness and understanding your patterns. Not chasing validation excessively, being secure and confident in your own skin while also humble. Pacing a relationship appropriately, being consistent with interest and letting the guy be vulnerable sometimes without getting the ick.

It depends exactly what you're looking for, and guy's naturally are looking for different things. For me to see someone as a girlfriend material, I'm looking for a kind, empathetic, nurturing and emotionally expressive personality, as well as emotional maturity. For building attraction itself, that's done through looks primarily as well as having fun and easy chemistry/shared interests. Guys don't lose attraction from 'over chasing' in the same way women do, but it can give him too much power to…

It's possible but prioritising moving out, even to somewhere with flat mates or a house share will make your life much easier.

Depends on their level of self control, if you date sober and with more reserved / educated / classy women, they have the self control to not, and even when highly interested , I feel escalating more aggressively than I have becomes borderline bad behaviour

But is that a bad thing ? I get some void or empty feeling after first date hook up , that I don't get it it's been 2 or 3 dates, even if I don't consider the women suitable for long term.

Resilience against social shame, more experiences dealing with different types of personality, more confidence obviously, more solidified understanding of self, better will power, more authenticity, more emotional resilience and independence, better ability to tolerate uncertainty etc

People say the whole 'never reach out again' thing is best for them to come back, but I haven't found that to be the case. Giving lots of space yes, not chasing or being needy, or texting anything emotional or deep obviously. But women are so passive it's so rare they will 'risk rejection' or lose face by reaching out , even if they want to or would be receptive to you reaching out. So yeah it seems fine to do it occasionally. As for strategic reserve yeah that makes sense, but I'd only do this …

Not sure if it's losing dignity unless it's a 'I miss you, please take me back' type message. It's more like just a 'touch base' email you'd send to a customer who you had a deal with that didn't come through. Is that losing dignity? Who gives a fuck.

Never 'worth it' buts it's not exactly high effort to copy and paste a text a bunch of times. In fact it seems pretty harmless., even if chances are very low. It's not like you lose anything by doing it.

Do you really have to be *that* good looking to succeed in online? I feel it's exaggerated a lot. Like, top 10%? I feel it's more like top 50-25% that can do alright. I've dated so many beautiful accomplished intelligent women with good values from online. I'm not some model, that's not being humble or self efacing, I am good looking, no doubt, better than average, in good shape and tall, but objectively I'm not some gigachad, and I get women that are to me 9s and 10s on a date every couple of w…

Yesterday a girl I had a couple of dates with tested me, I asked who she was going to x event later with, she mentioned it was a hinge date. I didn't react at all and said I hope she has fun, she asked how I felt about that, basically just ignored it and gave off a vibe of 'yeah go ahead, good luck finding someone better'. Of course she walked that back saying she was just joking and it was with friends, then asked to see me soon. I know for a fact that if I gave off any kind of butthurt or salt…

So everyone on this forum basically says the same thing , including myself, that they had negative and limiting beliefs about themselves and their attractiveness, and reframing these and changing their self belief and mindset caused actual change in how others see them, so why do you still hold onto these limiting beliefs ? Why not try a few months working on them, what do you have to lose ?
/r/seduction18/09/25 07:21 AM

So go on a lot of first dates to check the vibe and then filter. I don't see the problem here.

Yeah I see what you mean, it's funny how these things work. Also it's great to have the superpower of once you know how these things work, you can limit their effect on you. For example if a girl baits or tests me with something like that and just says 'forget about it', I actually take them up on it and forget about it and move on. I've noticed that it is a strong move.

I mean in sales this works, that's why speaking to a customers problem about their pain is much better than just feature dumping. For dating though, I'm not sure how you do this. I guess I just live by example and give off a positive aura and energy , and that in itself makes people want to be around you. Are you talking about something like that or a more 'manipulative' planting seeds of things in their mind?

It's up to you, ultimately only you can know. There's girls that I would accept back again, if they came , as I know I wasn't my best self at the time and acted unattractively. I don't hold what happened against them or against myself , I just understand that that was a different time a different dynamic and I'd be up for meeting now as two new people. Yup same , I don't mind it though. Even if it means less casual hookups , the girls that I do get with I can be authentic around and it just feels way better and more natural to me. If you are desperate for more NSA sex, you will probably need to change that part of your personality to be more extroverted high energy and sexually aggressive, but you might notice that the girls you get with are less 'quality' in terms of what you naturally vibe with romantically.
/r/seduction13/09/25 03:28 PM

I have a similar thing. Are you more of a nice chill guy? I think I put out more 'good for long term vibes' just naturally even without being needy or insecure. The women that are attracted to me tend to be more prudish, feminine, sheltered innocent types , and yeah they generally need a long time to open up, and want some emotional investment your end. I still do fine and am happy with my dating life, I actually vibe more and am more attracted to these types than the more sexually open, party g…

How often do you find that authentic natural chemistry though? I feel it's quite rare for me , I just try and show up as myself with no particular thoughts or outcome focus, and it's still about 1 in 10 for that true, effortless, mutual attraction. I'd say more often it's me not liking them then vice versa for the others, but there are plenty of girls I find very attractive that aren't into me after a first date.

It doesn't really matter how prudish or innocent they are or how sexually liberal and loose, once you've got enough experience you can pretty much tell when a girl is attached to you. If they are attached they probably aren't sleeping with other guys because they just don't have an interest and are thinking about you all the time.

Authenticity is better unless you want the entire relationship to be you masking (which would be tiring and unsustainable), as well as be with someone you eventually don’t like because the infatuation from looks wears off, you realise you just don’t click. Even if the women that like you are few and far between, put yourself out enough there and you will find them. There is truly someone for everyone.

Yeah this happened to me it sucked, and bit me hard on the ass when I returned to dating. Nothing else to do then just start from scratch, it does come back faster but it was pretty lame to be an anxious wreck with women in my late 20s after a really long relationship. Okay I’ll do it then, I do get women I’d deem ‘wife quality’ from online, but the ratio is about 1-30 seemingly and I’ve met about 3 since I’ve been single in the 6 months. The first two I fumbled because I was rusty and hadn’t began working intensely on game/inner strength, the third (after painful experience) I got infatuated with me but was bad timing (she wanted kids too soon). That’s a really good response and yeah absolutely true. I’d say yeah dates from online have helped me improve nerves and confidence certainly, and have helped me learn how to escalate show intent as well as dynamics in early dating, but yes, I’ve never done cold approach and the idea is daunting, which I suppose makes it worth doing. Would you say going on online dates consistently has the same effect? I go on probably 3/4 dates a week from hinge , between that, work, fitness, seeing friends life admin and hobbies, time is scarce. Do you think there is something cold approach gives that is worth spending time on?
/r/seduction01/09/25 01:29 PM

Yeah depends on the women’s sensitivity I guess. Women that are more prudish, sensitive, ‘innocent’ need more safety with still a bit of edge, women that are more confident , assertive need much more edge and less safety usually. So point is if you are authentic to yourself will still find a fit for you regardless. This is my experience anyway.

Is that totally true though? I mean just like you can still find a woman of bad or good character sexually attractive, I would personally only get emotionally invested and pursue the one with good character. So yeah both are ‘attractive’ but one I respect much more and find worthy of my time. I can find the other ‘attractive’ but have no respect or interest in them as a person, is that a position you’d want to be in? Double texting like ‘hey did you see my last message’ vibe is always bad. Sometimes persistence can work though, especially with introverted/feminine women who are less likely to take initiative. If you need to double text, ignore the fact you got ghosted, just start a new thread and act like it’s a new conversation, act completely unbothered by previously getting ghosted. I agree it’s impossible to logic yourself out of this mindset, you can know on paper that out of the billions of humans on earth, the chance that she’s your perfect match is essentially zero, and the chance that she’s the best girl you will come across in your life is also virtually zero, but the emotion exists regardless, it’s an attachment and idealisation, your nervous system has basically flagged this girl as essential to survival, as if she is your mother and you are a baby infant. Especially high quality women in their 20s , like the ultra feminine, family oriented, emotionally expressive and caring types. I seem to attract those like moths to a flame at 29. To be honest. Idk. I’m 29 and really just had my personal transformation this year. I’ve never had so many beautiful intelligent women with good values completely obsessed with me as I do right now, who are themselves between 23 and 29 (6 right now). Exactly this, just like a heartbreak situation to be honest. It can either turn into a massive personal growth upward spiral or a devastating downward spiral. The good news is that even if you are disposed one way you can learn to be the other, through inner work. That’s why it’s a very important component in addition to exposure therapy and practise in my opinion. Therapy journaling mediation reframing beliefs, shadow work, all that shit. Really underrated part of this process.

Not nearly enough information just on that. There’s a hundred subtleties over the course of the date that will tell you your answer. It’s just a matter of gaining more experience. For this situation, just text her, if she’s warm and open to another date, do it, if she’s cold or ghosts, then go next. Also another thing to keep in mind is your own gut feeling. It can be either, you have to read other signals. I’ve had 4 kisses rejected this year, 2 of them were lack of interest, 2 of them were not ready yet. Is the girl doing other things? Physical proximity? Hand holding? Responding to texts quickly and warmly? It’s probably not ready yet. The lack of self belief and desperation jumps off the page from your post. You are doing the right things it looks like in general, you have to be patient with yourself, improvement isn’t linear. Personally, I was ‘stagnating’ in skill for months when I started, then when it really started clicking, it snowballed fast. A lot of guys who are ‘hook up material’ are emotionally avoidant, have a ‘detached unobtainable’ vibe which makes them mysterious and attractive. They also aren’t needy and don’t approval seek. Often, these guys however are quite lonely and fear intimacy, so the actual experience of living their life isn’t great. Relationships that they do have often end in painful break ups and divorce.
