I'm sure you've all seen these kind of profiles on hinge, the ones that say looking for things like kindness, emotional maturity, seeking a 'life partner'.

Often don't drink much if at all, often don't go to things like clubs or bars.

I'm quite good at getting dates with these women, and generating initial interest just being myself.

But with more extraverted/go with the flow type women, I find it relatively straightforward to physically escalate because my advances are reciprocated. Generally will make out the first date and they will be up for coming over to mine for sex by the second or third date.

But with those more relationship focused or intentional women, I find that even if on paper they are showing strong signs of interest, they are hard to escalate physically with. Or just take a lot longer to open up? E.g, usually will have a peck kiss on the first/second date, and making out by the third or fourth.

After the third or fourth, a conundrum happens. They seem to want some level of emotional investment/affection but sex hasn't happened yet.

If I give them signs of investment/commitment, they obviously lose interest and attraction, but if I don't give it to them, they remain attracted, but start increasingly demanding investment and will eventually also end things eventually because they will think I'm too much of a player/hard to pin down.

They seem to not want physical intimacy without some sort of emotional connection first, but also don't seem to realise that they lose sexual attraction when that happens.

A lot of these women are very beautiful, accomplished, great people, but I've noticed they are still single on the same dating apps for months and years, so it seems no one has really figured out how to play it with them.

What is the best move for these types? Being more aggressive with physical escalation/expectations? (e.g if she doesn't want to come over by date 3 or 4 just go next), being more patient with physical escalation? Showing the affection they seem to want or not?
