The whole "there's someone for everyone" is bullshit, and people's ability to get what they want in life depends a lot of the availability of partners who are into them and how much they have to compete with others for a scarce resource (i.e. men and women) Correct. Thinking that dating and relationships are some fair thing and "there is someone for everyone" is BP at its finest. Dating is basically people marketting themselves. If a person markets themselves in a way other people don't find att…

Drinks wouldn't bother me. If some chode wants to buy other people drinks, leave em to it. As for the grinding I wouldn't know about it. But if I did, it would depend on her reaction to me grinding against someone else.

Who cares. If BP makes me incredibly judgemental and insecure (not so much on the n-count, within reason), I will wear that badge as a mark of honour.

Im 6' spot on. So I dont know what its like to be a short guy. But back in my ODS days, I saw women who said they would only date black dudes or dudes oler/younger than me. So what. There plenty more women out there. If they messaged me, I would politely tell them I am not their type then move on. Dunno why people are so bent out of shape over preferences.

That's fair enough and it's very good to assess yourself honestly. Do you feel that people here, or in your life are trying to force you to behave in a way that would be untrue to yourself? No people in my life know me well enough to know that I do my own thing and I learn from my mistakes. And they also know that if I do require guidance then I will seek out a mentor.

It depends what the consequences are. Some consequences are copable, some are not. It was the works xmas do last night, I didn't go as I am not paid overtime for it. The consequence is I am seen as antisocial anti-christmas. I can live with that. If it was to result in a pay cut, then yes I would of gone.

It seems to me that some people do care about that. Thats their call. Just don't involve me, unless you want me to go against your change. I like to stay out of that shit. Do you agree? Do you think they have any reason to do so that is rewarding to them/'worth the effort'? If these people exist, do you respect them? Or indifferent? or hostile? Its their life they can do what they want. Just leave me out. Like above, unless you want me to go against it. I'm happy just chopping wood and carrying …

What's the better alternative to complaining? Taking action. Lets take for example when I was made redundant from a job. Did I complain, no. Did I moan to friends, no. Did I bother people with the fact that I chose a company to work at that did not make a profit, no. I carried on with life and found a new job. What good would complaining have done. Is there some god of complainers out there, that fixes complaints? no.

nice = boring, bland, forgettable, no emotional impact. Personally I would rather be a sexually perverted creep than nice. At least I would of made an impact. Do women even remember nice guys? No. Which is the issue, they make no impact in anyones life.

It was when I was stupid enough to believe marriage was supposed to bring you happiness. Turns out being married is hard. More people should be made aware of this brilliant discovery. Sorry that just kind of seems common sense to me. Not been married but seen enough failed marraiges and seen enough successful ones to see the hard work that goes in. I've been married. If you're expecting a status boost you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Im not.

On a serious note. Why are you asking men. A fisherwoman shouldn't ask the fish how to catch them. Find a woman who has the life you desire and ask her how she achieved it. Not only will she have done what you want, but she will be able to relate to you in a way guy's cannot.

Is it impossible for you to comprehend a liife that isn't 100% about a career. Its a scale, not binary. At one end Gold DIgger, at the other Career obsessed woman who only identifies as her job title. There is a lot of space in between the two.

Things like having meals together, an hour or two conversation is good, Im an extrovert so I like chatting, If we both have the weekend or a day free, maybe do something together. Yeah, I have had this argument with other people online in other forums. Granted I am in no way speaking for all men. There is a difference between a woman who has no income what-so-ever, a woman who has a job but also has a work life balance and a woman who is career obsessed. The way I interprete these discussions and my personal view, is I don't want a woman who is career obsessed. Now once you key in that men usually date down and women usually date up. It is common sense that if a kid comes…

No they are things that a woman may find attractive (there are other things of course). Like I have said on another post, if this happens, then either you are attracting the wrong type of woman (do you attract women by flashing money about) or you have nothing else to offer other than money. Of course being aware that this can happen, is better than believing that all women are magical unicorns.

so they prefer to blame the successful woman to mask their own insecurities. No-one is blaming women. We just ignore the "High Power Career Women" and look elsewhere. There is no-one to blame for anything. Except if these "High Power Career Women" complain that no-one wants them, Then yes its their fault for choosing to be a "High Power Career Women". My best asshole moment was some girl in Nottingham. She was hot. She was dancing with some friends and I went up and did a nice guy approach "Your hot, can you teach me to dance". She looked at me laughed and said "No". I then just went full on "Well your fucking crap then arn't you" and turned away. My friend was looking at me shocked and so were the girls friends. This entailed aloof behavior, not telling them what I was doing, going out when I wanted, how I wanted, not replying to their texts, being direct, not allowing for softness or consideration of their feelings in discussions, avoiding discussions at all, any complaints and I'd leave. Lol, I tried that to get a girl to dump me. I figured she would slowly lose interest and move on. I had the same results as you.

Maybe all you have to offer is money. Blame social media and dating apps because even average women can try and date the top 10% of men. What use will "blaming" do. Maybe taking action to becoming more attractive will be more productive. Blaming is what mediocre people do and mediocre is not attractive. Be a rare man, take control of your life and bear responsibility for the actions and choices you make. Why do women like diamonds? It is because they are RARE. RARE = ATTRACTIVE What makes you ra…

I should add I think my ethnicity plays a role. Some people (white folks) dont age well in general. I know plenty of guys my age or a few years younger that look considerably older than me. I know its not just genetics, I look better now than I did at certain points of my life (Ive had bouts where I have let myself go). Thats the key thing. Im a guy who is mid 30. The majority of women around my age have aged badly (defo not all, but on average) and do not take care of their bodies. A lot of people consider this to be unfair, but money is important, isn't it? Relationships and dating does not operate on fairness in the same way that something like employment does. There is no right/wrong, fair/unfair. If I wanted to date women with only a size 5 foot, I could. Its my choice. However the more standards a person has and the higher they are, the smaller their dating pool is. Also there is no guarantee in dating. No-one is guaranteed a partner. So if a woman was only willing to…

I learned a long time ago to never discuss PUA or Self-Iprovement outside its own circle. People like who you become, but don't like it whilst you are becoming it. Ive got friends who laughed and mocked me at one point for doing my "silly meditation" or "silly PUA stuff" and so on. Unattractive men will still only care about appearances and have high standards regarding looks I actually agree. Men have been taught from a young age that they’re entitled to beautiful women regardless of their own appearance. If this were true, men really would just come and grab women by the pussy. Men are gonna try, it just means if they are unattractive they will get rejected more. Rejection build character. These men won’t even want those unattractive women, resent them for not being more…

For example on whereareallthegoodmen you’ll see men bash women for not dating unattractive losers when they were younger. Because the women on WAATGM are not high quality, most of them have multiple kids, some are pregnant. Don't worry I get your point though. Women are unable to think for themselves, cannot take any responsibility for their actions and have no self awareness. Therefore everything is mans fault, as men are the only ones with brains.

Yet ugly, short, fat, or broke men who play Warcraft 3 all day are JUST as shallow, abusive, and unfaithful as the wealthy attractive men. Just because a man is less attractive, it doesn’t mean he’ll be a good man. Sometimes he’s even worse because of the bitterness from the constant rejection and lack of female attention. These low value men are low value for a reason and do not make good partners overall, and they likely have severe issues such as mental illness, anger issues, legal issues, un…

How many women have you approached in your life? Even the week where I did 140 approaches, I got no rejections, I ejected myself from interactions (the purpose was to get over Approach Anxiety). That is just one week. In my whole life I would say I have had about 5 nuclear rejections max. And I can pinpoint exactly why my approaches were off.

Most guys are pretty direct. Unless a dude is ripped to fuck, loaded (a rich man does nt need to say he is rich) or the woman is horny as hell and no Fuck Buddies are avlaiable, it probably will not work. Now the best predators do not lay on the jungle floor, with their teeth and claws out as their prey will avoid them. They approach their prey harmlessly and slowly, earn its trust and only then, attack. Indirect is the best way forward.

Habits take a while to build. Also the brain can only take on one or two new things at a time. At the moment I am succeeding in getting study and exercise into a habit (I also work full time). Come the new year, I will be adding meditation back in. Then once I have a few things paid off (May - June time) I will be rebuilding my social life. working a retail job doesn’t lower your SMV but lowers your RMV How does it lower RMV. Ive known a few women with retail jobs and they are quite sound. Seriously what is your issue, none of them are as bitter and jaded as you even on their worst days.

Edit: Here is a screenshot taken from WAATGM that perfectly illustrates what I'm talking about. This woman literally just wants a man with a car and a job, both things she has herself. She is not asking for a rich doctor to come lavish her with cash and prizes. Yeah and if men went online and started saying "I want a blonde with giant boobs, who is a nympho in bed", he would be shamed. Women want to be treated like men, so we are shaming and judging everything they do. Like men, they will either…

Nice guys do not make an impact. Nice guys do not speak their mind. Nice guys do not create a strong reality that intrigues women. nice guys are pushovers. Nice guys do not live life on their own terms. Nice guys do not have a sense of self worth. As a reformed nice guy, I had to build and develop these traits (being in the army and fighting wars does help) and after I had gone through the process, women found me attractive. Of course lifting also helps.

With all of that baggage and distrust, is it possible to imagine a time when either (1) RP men change their mind and return to BP, (2) the establishment acknowledges RP ideas to be truths and/or accepts RP practices as normal? What would be needed for this to happen? Is society currently moving in the direction of reconciliation or even greater divergence? The solution is simple. Provide a better alternative. However if a better alternative is possible, is beyond me.

It's amazing how many people say that rejection is nothingburger - yet women are far too afraid to risk it. Funny, that. I think getting used to rejection is just part of a guys life. If it was women who did the majority of the approaching and asking out, whilst guys just stood there, it would be different. I have rejected women before and they really do not handle it well. Even older "mature" women who are "strong and independent". But that said, Ive seen guys get rejected and flip out as well.…

Society will never care about the issues affecting men, because it simply doesn't matter what happens to men. Women, however, absolutely must be taken care of if the species is to survive. That is exactly what my understanding of "Frame" is. Its very different to what the RP guys seem to be going on about. As far as PUA goes Swinggcat wrote an awesome book on it and Cajun goes on about it a fair bit. For example, if approaching a woman and talking to her, if you truly believe (yes I know this could be called delusional - but the shit works) that you are already sleeping with her, the interaction goes totally differently to if you believed you were a guy just approaching her. Of co…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 07:09 PM

Thats kind of how I have always viewed it. A frame has an underlying context, be that belief or emotion. The person with the strongest frame will always suck the people with weaker frames into their reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 05:31 PM

The strongest frame always win. In your example, the guy with a "weak frame" may actually have a strong frame and be sure of the fact he has no value and thus settles for what he can get.

I will gladly buy into her frame that she is planning for her future as a crazy cat woman.. Why the hell would I not? I'm happy that women with no value care for the cats. Cats have feelings too.

And... Men are the same with other men. What has being liked got to do with getting a message across. Are you trying to communicate or be liked?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 04:30 PM
2

Sometimes I think a strong frame can be a bad thing. If a person has a lot of negative beliefs (beliefs that do not assist in persons goal), then a strong frame will be more harm than good. This is the bit that I find missing in RP. As I have said before, I have been more involved in the PUA community than the RP community, and the focus seems to be more about what "frames" and "subtexts" are useful and which are not.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 04:14 PM
1

Good to hear your planning for your future.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/11/18 04:08 PM
2

Yes but if a person's room consists of an outward facing fascination with everyone else's room, that isn't necessarily bad frame. Having an outward focus does not dictate a persons frame. If they can still maintain emotional state and keep core beliefs then their frame is kept. However if they change their views all the time based on outward focus, then yeah it would be bad frame.

When I was younger and didn't know about people over-analysing, I would just shut down in relationships as it felt like whatever I felt or whatever I liked/disliked was not valid. I honestly didn't realise people obsessed and over analysed this stuff. If someone said to me that they didn't like X, I would just think don't suggest X. That would be the end of it for me.

Q4M: What is something that women need to improve on when they are interacting with you? Stop looking for hidden meanings. If I say "I am not hungry", it just means I have no appetite. There is no deep meaning to it. Also if I say I do not like something, if it is not something that impacts your life directly, why dwell on it, it does not matter.

Let me rephrase the question: Would you date an obese, older, single mother? No she is a single mother. What if she was obese due to genetics? Definitely not then. There is a chance any genetic defects will be passed on to offspring. What if she was poor as well? Depends what you mean by poor.

Funny thing is, I have done this and that seems to make me more attractive. A rejection gets turned into interest because of how I handle it. Hard to say percentage wise. Definately lower percentage of women now at 30+ that I would consider dating (single mums, women who have let themselves go, etc). However I have more women interested in me than before, so there is a higher percentage open to dating.

My definition of the game is all the techniques exposing your character in order to appear attractive, in a set time and place condition. That means that having game is not reduced to the romantic domain. By example, you need to have a game, albeit a tad different, to get a job, in order to be attractive (not in the sexual way) enough in the eyes of the recruiter. You need to have a game to negotiate deals, game to not be treated like an average lambda individual when you go to public administra…

Here is the best definition (to me) of "Game" that I can find. Game is a collection of beliefs, behaviors, strategies, and tactics that make women more attracted to you while increasing your likelihood of experiencing intimacy. It’s often based on cold approaching, an active strategy where you walk up to a girl you don’t know and present yourself in the best way possible so that she decides, at some point, to have sex with you. Game can also be used on girls within your social circle, a more pas…

Women lie about orgasming all the time(not blaming the man). I'm aware of that. Oh I have experience with virigns, some are unattractive because their entire value is on how women value them, and they then become so insecure. I don't know what other word to use for it. There is something repulsive about constantly needing this validation and women. That however isn't the same as a man naturally attracting and just doing it. /r/PurplePillDebate16/11/18 01:00 PM

Yes and a lot of these men are "settled for". That means that the woman did not get what she wanted and does not want to be viewed badly by society. It means nothing about the guy, other than he is undesirable but not the most undesirable.

I dunno, my first proper GF thought I was a pussy slayer or something and seemed super shocked when she found out I was a virgin. /r/PurplePillDebate16/11/18 12:43 PM

If a guy has not slept around he will have no experience with women thus he will not be attractive. You know those guys that women find great in bed, that was gained from sleeping with loads of other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/18 12:35 PM
5

A lot of men come to the conclusion that they can't offer the ever growing list of demands from women. So they clearly see that being a 'player' aka false advertising will get them what they want out of women. Why is a player false advertising. Sure if a guy promises the world and then ghosts, thats shitty and lack of integrity. But its possible to be honest and authentic and still live a player lifestyle.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/18 12:32 PM
7

But you ask a guy the same question, normally the first thing they say "They have to be hot". If some guy said he wanted someone with a nice personality, he would be shit tested and judged on his integrity if he turned down an ugly woman with a nice personality. What he said and how he behaved are seperate, therefore he is not authentic in the slightest.

I actually don't know anyone who got with people their own age which is why I made this assumption. Everywhere I have worked the man has always been older than the woman in a relationship. Even when it comes to friends who have settled there is normally on average a 5 - 7 year age gap. In regards to my own dating, the largest age gap was 8 years and the smallest was 3.

She is 25 and spend 4 years in a relationship. She had 42 guys in a year. So if a woman just wants to have fun between the ages of 18 -30 (assuming they wait till 18 to lose their V), that is 12 * 42 = 504 cocks on average. This girl was once definately a keeper, she is still very low n count.I guess compared to an average woman, she would still be better than most (on average).

They wouldn't beg though. The have their own CC to ride, and guys will gladly become part of the CC. A below average woman can just stand there and dudes will appear. For me that was partly how friends and relationships were made (not the bus and train specifically). I met up with some old friends a while back. All they did was sit there and stare at their phones, messaging each other instead of talking. Then for whatever reason, they got offended when I got up and left. I dont meet with people to watch them stare at a phone. And if I wanted to message people, I would message them, I wouldn't need to meet up with them.

How is that not good. As you improve your value as a man. You get to try again. Women tend to go for older guys, so as you 5 - 10 years to get your value up (thats my age bracket anyway for dating 5 - 10 years younger). If women did not go for older guys, you would have one shot when you were that age and that would be it, plus your dating pool would get smaller and smaller as opposed to larger and larger.

I had this a lot, an awful lot. There is a saying "The enemy of the best are the good". I'm guessing you have had to work on yourself a lot. So remember that if you had been a "natural" when you were 12 you would never of become interested in developing yourself as man. Be grateful that you learned to become a better of version of yourself instead of taking your life situation for granted and becoming mediocre. Secondly, develop a life mantra such as "I only focus on what I can change". Thirdly …

Money buys respect, power, infuence. Getting a woman based on good looks is not much different than getting one based on money. The woman derives enjoyment from the good looking middle class guy and a huge lifestyle boost from the rich guy and maybe advancement for her career due to the influence his money buys. One guy is her eye candy used for his looks and the other rich guy is her benefactor. Yeah I get that. Im a guy though so my views on this guy are different to a woman's views. And when …

I have lived in the real world. Everything I have done, I have had to compete to be my best and present my best self and why I should be the one selected. Army experience, I was being assessed 100% of the time. Jobs, my CV is compared to other CV's. Interviews I am competing with other interviewee's. Promotions, I am competing with my co-workers. The guy gets women due to his money. From what I can see he has no game. I'm sure this is the same dude that a PUA group I was in did a break-down and analysis on. He has not improved himself, he has not built frame, he has not gone through 100's if not 1000's of rejections that a normal guy learning game and seduction would have to go through. Have you never heard the metaphors men use for sex. Men dont usually say "We made sweet love last night" They say things like "I gave it to her hard", "I gave her a good fucking", "She wanted the dick" etc. You need to spend some time in "locker rooms". You may learn something about men.

This proves a long standing argument of mine - if all women are like that then it's because men keep rewarding them. A simple solution for women like her is to go Dutch. If she refuses, move on. Men need more spine and self control. If we all go Dutch, women like this cease to exist. Some of the solution to this lies with our actions. Personal responsibility and all that. Do you agree with the premise and that women have a responsibility in creating this dynamic? To me its not so much the women that create this dynamic. Its the fact that for every attractive woman, there are going to be loads of guys attracted, be they on tinder, in the venue, orbiters, etc, etc. So it does create this sort of competition dynamic where guys are competing. Unfortunately, men really are that simple. It’s a rare man (clears throat) that will actually impose standards on the women around him. True. This is the paradox. In order for a man to be attractive to the women he finds attractive. He needs to learn to reject the women he finds unattractive. Sure there is less sex, but it demonstrates value. As most men do not do this, if a man does behave like this, he will immediately stand out.

I would not fuck anything with a pulse, maybe I would fuck anything with a pulse that I find attractive. But I do not find it insulting, it is probably an accurate description of my base desires. "Sex bot will replace women, then women will be useless to us!" So what. That will give women even more time to persue their careers and their passions instead of being oppressed. If they want to have a kid, they can still have one. Sperm banks exist. If a man wants a kid, he can get a surrogate mother to carry the child. Then pay for a nanny to look after the child. .A woman can still build a career she loves and still have a work like balance. Just like how a man can have a career and a life outside his career as well. One semester, this girl (about to go away for semester abroad) was literally giving him a lap dance and he was oblivious to that IOI and didn’t take her home that night. Thats so me. About 2 years ago, I was in a bar with a mate and I spent ages chatting to the barmaid (yes, she was hot). And she kept leaving the bar to come over and chat. And gave us some free beers. It was all good. Then about a week later, I was walking past said bar, the barmaid was outside smoking. She told me she was finis…

Im not full RP but more red leaning than blue. Now why do I like it here: 1. People seem more positive in general than on TRP. 2. This place is not full of white knights. 3. I find it a pleasant enjoyable sub. 4. Several women have proclaimed to despise TRP, then go on to describe their partners, who seem to be the very men that TRP aspire to become.

A girl's dream man is not tame submissive and monogamous! In fact, he is the complete opposite. He always was and always will be. She does not want anyone tame and submissive. She wants someone who can LEAD. She is not programmed to do that. No female mamal is. She does not want a monogamous man. She needs someone who has many options because of social pre-selection. I've given sex freely, expecting love in return. You wern't giving it freely. As you expected something in return. If you had sex, then walked away and just enjoyed the sex. Then you would of wanted nothing in return. It's a transaction tool, now. So how much does sex with you cost? Is it a monetry price? The cost of commitment? Or just an emotional price?

I dont think they are trying to "Hack The System". They are actually unaware of the system, but Ego also plays a part as they can't admit to being social retards. I will happily admit I used to be a social retard, other guys I have known who were "Nice Guys" have to be right, even if reality shows them they are not right. Have other women tell you that girl "Doesn't deserve you!" and reinforce you're "Such a good guy!" and that "You'll eventually find someone who appreciates you!" That bit fucked me up a bit when I was younger and it messed with my neurology for a while. Luckily someone did take me aside (a guy) and tell me the truth "You are a doormat, women do not want or like doormats, man the fuck up". That guy was one of the most helpful guys I have ever met in my entire life.

Partly why beauty standards are such a feature in the femoshpere. Fat positivity, body positivity, modelling industry, thin hate. Ive noticed this, the "femosphere" does seem to paint the message that for dating, men need to change and are in the wrong for not changing. Im in agreement based on my own experiences. As I said in my response to the main post, my issue when I was younger was shyness and being passive as opposed to leading. I would say it depends on if you will be able to accept it for what it is or do you think you will develop feelings and want more. In some ways I suppose its kind a FWB in lite mode. "“There is a downside to casual sex: Sometimes it stops being casual. People develop a desire for something more. And when one person’s expectations don’t match the other person’s, then whoever holds the highest expectations suffers. There is no such thing as cheap sex. It always comes with a price. Yes, if it has happened to one man, it can happen to any man. However I wouldn't advise living in fear. More be aware it can happen and behave accordingly. Its the same as dating, women are aware some men may murder and rape them, and thus the general consensus is meet in public places until trust is developed.

Respect is respect. Some people seem to demand respect, then twist it around to make it sound like they were talking about basic manners and being polite.

Its Cause And Respect. Ive had women being respectful to me, but then treat SOyboy bitches like pieces of shit. They did not earn any respect. If a man allows himself to be walked all over by a woman, he definately does not respect himself, so in what deluded universe can he expect other people to respect him. Solution: don't wait until you're "head over heels in love" with a person before having sex with them. Secondly, they don't understand what attracts women. They think they're "always being available" and women are going to value them for being "loyal", but what they don't get is that being too available makes them less, not more attractive. Think on this: were you going through the full TRP rigamarole when these women were flirting with you and you didn't know it? No? Then clearly you can ALREADY attract women you'd be interested in--you just need to work on your shyness so you can meet more/ make a relationship stick with one of them. But I dont think it was what I responded with "Yeah I agree lets just be friends, you will make an awesome best friend". I'm still under the belief that the "nice guy" thing is dudes projecting what they want from a woman, thinking its what women want from them. Kind of like these women who go on about their career and status, as though its going to suddenly make them attractive. They are projecting what they want from a man.

Put them in the LJBF zone, then it gets wierd and they suddenly want to sleep with you. Offer sex, nope. Deny sex, yep. Its like telling a woman why they shouldn't be involved with you, they start telling you why they should. Its wierd but true.

I wont take a girl on a date until after sex. Sure I will meet up for a coffee, or go for a walk, or invite them over. But for a date, well thats reserved for after sex.

Not really, I am reading profiles so I can assess future potential. If a woman selling herself and putting her best self forward on her profile consists of her botching and moaning, then I want none of that shit in my life. I dread to think what she is like when she is not being her best self.

Why wait until the third or fourth date to tell a prospective partner that you enjoy cross-dressing, own 17 cats or have genital herpes, and watch them run screaming into the night? Thats assuming people will be put this info up front on online dating. The majority of dating profiles I used to read were just women ranting about what they don't want and how they have been used and abused. It was very inspiring stuff.

My problem is the opposite; I can form no idea of what the person's personality is like from the writing they offer and so I remain unmotivated in pursuing. Online dating sucks. I totally agree, albeit not really for the same reasons you stated. It removes the chase, removes the mystery - people often devalue the importance of those. A woman needs to feel chased for it to work, and a man needs to chase. Online dating makes it so easy, unnatural, and not organic. No, thanks. Lol, I'm actually annoyed at myself for not mentioning this. Im in full agreement here. I love the hunt. I can't explain it, online dating dates feel like they have just fallen i…

I think all these conversations are aimed at WAATGM type women and type profiles. Women just get offended by thinking its aimed at them (I can understand why they would take it personally). Then when they get defensive, men who make these posts think that these defensive women are defending and supporting the behaviour from WAATGM type women. Thus leading men to believe AWALT.

And I do still worry you might be focusing too much on the analogy, here - I use 'surgeons' because I genuinely dislike surgeons, yes, but also recognize that they're human people and am in the process of overcoming my reflexive dislike for them, which is why I think the analogy might resonate for someone who's got hangups about a particular type of woman. Your analogy is flawed. If I need surgery, Im going to need a surgeon or I can choose to die. Therefore it is in my best interests to change …

No. Back in the day, when men financially supported women. They would spend their day in the pits working. A woman wanted different things, ie they needed a mans resources. Nowadays, men have more free time, and there are more things for a man to do other than work. eg, MMA, Extreme Sports, Boxing, Gym training, etc. This creates men with confidence. My standards themselves are just the same. However what also changes, is I seem to be becoming more attractive and noticable. Oh I totally agree. I think there is more to lifting than just the muscles. If a guy starts lifting, he wll look at himself in the mirror and start liking what he see's. This will build self acceptance and self love. And confidence. Plus it will get rid of stress and anger, so a guy will hopefully be more chilled (roid heads excused). Plus there is the chemical dopamine release. And it builds discipline and purpose. Oh yeah and you get bigger muscles.

In my experience, its all about Pre-selection. Walk into a bar on your own invisible. Goto another bar, find two women who are attractive, do a bounce back to the original bar, suddenly every woman wants to know you. Unmasculine men aspire to a balanced relationship based on equal expectations and mutual support, but it simply doesn't exist for men. It works for women though. They get a guy they can walk over, who can just become their soyboy bitch.

For example, If you want to be alone, eating junk food and living off welfare your entire life and your content with this then your goals are easy to achieve and do not require much effort or much masculinity. I forgot that in 2018 that is what a lot of ppl aspire to in life.

I'm talking about the amount of effort compared to the result. What do you mean "Amount of Effort". Its a lifestyle not a one off thing. If someone is a blank slate, they will need less effort to develop masculine habits, traits, beliefs and behaviours. If someone is a femboy, they will need to destroy old habits and then develop new ones which will be more effort.

Its when a person does the same thing over and over and over again. For instance I made the mistake of getting with a gold digger once. When TRP says "Just lift bruh", Im pretty sure guys dont form a hypothesis and a null hypothesis to test out the theory that tearing muscle fibres and having them regrow will intensify any emotions of attraction that is experienced by a female. No they just go lift, then do what they were doing before. If it improves things, cool. If not, do something else. Have you even read the TRP sidebar?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 05:56 PM

But transgender people could actually be used to support TRP theories, because they show that there's a biological difference between male and female brains. Find a woman who had an abusive alchoholic father, who walked out on her and her mum. That will be the only role model of a man she has ever had. So a man that hates women will fill it pretty well. If she meets a guy that treats her with respect and kindness, she will hate it, because in her mind she is not worthy of that behaviour due to the male role model she previously had.

Pre-selection is attractive to women. So if a guy wasn't desired by other women, he would become less attractive to her. Likewise, if the zit faced dude in the D&D club had 100 models with him at all times and men wives cheated with him. Then the zit faced D&D nerd would become more attractive to other women.

Same. That does not mean that the ones who do not/have not lifted are totally unsuccessful. But theres a difference between the guy who lifts and has offers and women looking at him, asking if he is single, etc. And the guy who does not lift, who may get a date once a month on Tinder if he is lucky. How do you make someone do something? You make them believe its in their best interest to do so. You make them want to do it. The RP itself doesn't say this. In its core reading, it actually says the opposite - to not argue, to be personable and low-drama, to be in control of yourself. It doesn't give a lot of tips on how to actually be a friendly, warm personality... but the people reading it would probably walk away from it if it did. Something most terps share is a difficulty with empathy. They seem opposed to it, if anything. So RP exists for men who don't want to be empathetic, but still want to be able to navigat…

I dislike having to focus on someone when I'm not willing. How do you mean? I like focus on someone if I am in conversation, or I just ignore them. Theres no middle ground for me. Im aware that it does make some people uncomfortable, which is kinda funny (to me).

I found it pretty crap. I was dating a board executive of a well known British Automobile Company. Even meeting up once a week seemed like she struggled having to put work aside. And I think the only time she got to relax was her yearly holidays. Like granted fair play to her for getting that far in a company. But relationship wise, just not for me.

To be honest, the older guys I have known who have been "Nice Guys" (until rejected) seem to be the worst for preaching the "Its the inside that matters" and they seem to use it as an excuse for not getting into shape or dressing well. Its as though, its the world oppressing them not them being lazy c**ts. Granted I used to be almost as bad (only thing was rejection lead to "Why?????" not anger), but then when I did step foot in the gym, it all became clear and the reality set in. But I do wish …

I think we look at this backwards. It's a symptom that some people aren't really good at relationships; like a fat guy who says he just doesn't have time for the gym. One of my BIL's is like that. Great fucking cook and if he spent a fraction of that effort working out he'd be much healthier. I know a guy like that. Plenty of time for hobbies, the outdoor type (hiking, canoeing, kayaking, etc). But he is massively overweight, but always has an excuse for not going to the gym. Yet when ever it co…

Sort of both to be honest. I know Im being vague, in my mind I know what I want to ask, but putting it im words in painful. how career-driven people meet others This where a person would find "successful, high-status" people to date? And this, especially outside pre-existing social circles.

This is a very broad question. Me personally, I have no one size fits all answer. So lets get started on the points you raised firstly. This is super broad. But do you enjoy when you see someone in your life who isn't conforming to masculine or feminine expectations? I know such a guy, who is very feminine (behaviours, attitudes, way he dresses). /r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 06:17 AM
1

Well the fact that guys let themselves go, then get cheated on and then seem shocked, kind of suggests that they thought that either they were special or the women they were dating was special.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 06:08 AM
1

I have no idea, but I would like to think women are aware that men can cheat on them. RL and statistics show that this does happen.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 06:06 AM
1

No its just being aware of possibilities. If women were told men were magical unicorns and could never do no wrong, that would be dangerous for women. Likewise with AWALT.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 06:01 AM
1

Same as dealing with AWALT, once a man is aware of how a woman can potentially behave, he either does something about it or he does not. One example of dealing with AMALT is dating, women are (or should be) aware that men are capable of murder or rape, so it makes sense for a first date or first couple of dates to be in a public place. Its basically called taking responsibility for your life.

And he probably has a lot of other qualities as well. Which the average guy is never told to develop.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 04:07 AM

Theres a further problem to this. When a guy realises that buying someone a drink does them no favours. They will over calibrate and go onto the other end of the spectrum. Where they will refuse to buy women drinks... period. Hopefully this only lasts for a while. But its a funny phenomenon to watch.

/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/18 03:56 AM

Who said otherwise. However as a hetro man, AMALT is not something I have to navigate against. Its a woman who has to make herself attractive so that AMALT does not happen.

Hitting a roadblock once means nothing. Hitting it 20+ times, you may have an issue. IE, if every girl you speak to says "Lets Just Be Friends" and this happens 20 times. Just approaching 1000 women will do nothing. A person needs to analyse what they did and what they can change. Energy levels, body language, tonality, etc. 1000 approaches is more than enough to get an insta date if your working on yourself. On the bright side, they should not be phased by rejection whatsoever.

Male friends cockblock each other and start fighting over girls. If your with a male friend who is in a relationship or married, despite them saying how you should settle, they get pissed off when you chat to girls as it "ruins the night, we are just out to drink". (Despite said friend being the worst for it when he was single). So yeah, ride solo, its the way forward. Not to mention it helps improve ones confidence.

A hot Girlfriend will normally result in respect of one bunch of guys whilst at the same time result in hatred and jealousy off another. If your friends fall into the second category its time to find new friends. Its not you they really hate though, its themselves. So dont be angry or mad at them. Just pity them, every time they say something stupid, they are talking in reference to themselves. Could you really hate a person who walks around punching themselves in the face all the time.

it works in the opposite direction as well. Some girl I was seeing for 6 months (HB7) was pretty into me. But as soon as I met her friends and got on with them, she seemed even more into me. Then we went to the party of some dude she worked with, which was when it all went nuts. Men are no longer required to be providers, breadwinners, or anything. So as they have no role and purpose in life what so ever. They just play games and get stoned waiting to die. Some guys do make goals for life and thus can't achieve these goals with the above lifestyle. What does it matter anyway, strong independent women dont need men.

I think part of it is projection. I will speak for myself only. It does not matter how hot a woman is, how attracted I am or how I feel. If she has one of several redflags, ie being a single mom, I can just override that emotion. Its just emotion, it comes and goes. No need to be a slave to it. but is everyone like that, I dont know.

The best way RP men can avoid being dumped or cheated on is working to be more high value, learning how screen for it (which isn’t how many men she fucked 10 years before she met you but paying attention to how into you she is) and accepting that even highly desirable men and women get dumped and cheated on occasionally Again, Im not speaking for anyone but myself. Confirmation Bias is actually useful. A lot of people focus on what they don't want. That means they are focussing on qualities that they dont like or find attractive. I learnt that lesson years and years ago the hard way. My dad congratulated me afterwards for seeing the light and he was glad it didn't get to the point where he needed to step in. Interestingly I once got laid because I was skint. Some (pretty hot) girl was going round the bar asking guys for drinks, they were all too happy to oblige. I was skint at that time, so I just said "No I dont buy random girls drinks". She then came up 10 minutes later and said that I was going back with her to her si…

I used to know someone who tried that. They joined the Mormons thinking would find a wife. Ultimately it did not work out well as they were following a faith for the wrong reasons and funnily enough it became apparent after a while. Also they seemed interested in the female Missionaries, which is a no-go. Plus the fact the Mormons due have a divide between the "converts" and the "pure bloods". Me personally, I couldn't devote myself to a lifestyle I wasn't 100% with (changing a few habits is one…

Unfortunately, these traits are less useful in more disciplined/military settings. Rebels are awesome at dating, but they're not very effective when the ability to take orders are sometimes matters of life and death. I imagine it must feel pretty isolating, sometimes. But that feeling is not actually uncommon even for people who do have independence-based identities. Instead of taking orders from your superiors, you're taking orders from yourself. For me Ive gotten over the whole orders, doing a…

I use many of them, myself, in my daily life, and have done so even before I knew RP also supported them. Items like "I am the prize", "abundance mentality" and "not pedestaling women" are, I would even say, necessary for a healthy man in the dating world. Not sure if this makes me sound naive, but all this was new to me. When I was in the forces I had no issues dating. But when I left the forces, everything changed.

As per Red Pill Handbook (Ive not read all of it): You cannot control which thoughts pop up in your head, but you can control which thoughts get to stay to be taken seriously. Meditation teaches you to let thoughts appear and to immediately let them fly out of the back door again, without judging or engaging them. Also in the recommended reading: Meditations by Marcus Aurellius Also a lot of PUA schools of thought recommend meditation as a basic building block of good inner game.

Cant speak for anyone else, but I used to read Return Of Kings a lot (still like the spirituality and Meditation articles). But I used to read a lot of the "True Nature Of Women" posts. What I found whilst I read all this was I would meet women who behaved just like these articles said. When I stopped reading it, again this is a couple of years ago, the women I met seemed a lot more nicer. Ive always been aware of Law Of Attraction, and as far as ROK goes, reading that does attract some toxic st…

Back in the days when I did online dating (POF), I arranged to meet some woman. Anyway I was stood there, where we arranged to meet and some woman came up and said "Are you Mr_White", my response was "Yes I am", my thoughts were "Damn you look different to your pic", she proceeded to tell me I looked more muscular than my pics. I did not return a compliment. We went to a pub and had a drink or two. Anyway she pulled out her kindle and told me how great "Fifty Shades of Grey" was. I was like "Awe…

If you start to lose attraction (or if the relationship cannot be maintained), that’s when you become more open to being attracted to other men. That’s when the opportunity for and likelihood of branch swinging becomes more real. I think the main RP ethos is similar to what Neil Strauss said "Put your best self forward". But in terms of RP, its how to maintain being attractive once in a relationship as opposed to letting ones self go and ending up posting in deadbedrooms. Im slowly reading the R…

Ive not yet fully read all of TRP sidebar information, but here is the closest to a definition I could find: Women are only attracted to guys of higher value than them, and they are hypergamous. As long as they can safely branch swing to a guy with higher value, most of them will do it. They'll rationalize it by feeling that the love is gone between you two. And here is what it suggests for "maintenance" in a relationship for regards to Hypergamy: As a TRP male, you need to constantly get better…

As a non RP man, my understanding is that AWALT means all women have the potential to do X. If a man builds himself up and accepts these things, he is more likely to just accept it and move on than if he subscribed to the Titanic My Heart Will Go On type of love that is fed to us by the media.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/18 12:58 AM
3

I agree with all that. I do not claim to be a RP man, I do agree with a lot of what they say, but dislike the sub due to the anger, although I can understand why men are angry. I just like to stay in more positive places. But as men generally are the ones to approach and initiate, it still makes sense that an initial impression will be from a womans looks. "Oh look theres a woman I find totally unattractive, lets see what her character is like" said no man ever.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/18 12:56 AM

If TRP says you can strive for self improvement, why can't "a woman's character is as sexy as looks" not be part of that self improvement? How is that an improvement? How has a man grown? How will his life be better by just incorperating that belief? How will it prevent women from playing him?

I think Neil Strauss hit it on the head also. Granted his relationship with Lisa did not last (she was threatening to blow her brains out if he ever came near her again), but what made him want to settle was the fact that she was immune to his game, she stood out from the rest of the women.

The problem with these sorts of posts is it implies that women are just bothered about looks. But anyway you are looking at it like a Science Hypothesis, it isn't. If guys take things from it and it works for them, it has served its purpose. If you need nothing from it, then it is not for you. But why are you treating it like it is something it is not.

Women generally do not approach men. So yeah a man can walk into a room and decide who they would like to date and approach them However a woman, will decide out of the guys who approach her and whoever she decides will be the top 20% out of that pool. There is no reason for women to have the same mentality as men, as they do not need to approach or make the first move. Men do this and a woman just filters/chooses, the best out of all of them.

This is my personal view, not to be taken as any fact what so ever: My own undertsanding of the whole Alpha/Beta thing refers to groups of males. The top dog of a group of males, is the Alpha and the rest are the Beta's. Not sure how this ties in with guys who prefer to ride solo. Also one other thing, if a guy hangs round with a bunch of losers and clowns to make himself look better, he is not an Alpha he is just the leader of losers. This however is all abstract. In reality, when in the field …

“We have this idea that love is supposed to last forever. But love isn't like that. It's a free-flowing energy that comes and goes when it pleases. Sometimes, it stays for life; other times it stays for a second, a day, a month or a year. So don't fear love when it comes simply because it makes you vulnerable. But don't be surprised when it leaves either. Just be glad you had the opportunity to experience it.” ― Neil Strauss

If someone tells me their mother died, I automatically start flipping through my brain to find an instance where I felt deep loss, to recall the feelings and better understand what that person is going through. Men see women getting all this attention from the opposite sex and wish that they got the same amount of attention from the opposite sex. Now if you were writing about the grossness of getting homosexual attention as a man. You would firstly be called a homophobe, then you would be shamed.

I actually worded that wrong. If a man has earned whatever it is he has, there is respect for the effort he put in. Of course, there is no universal All Men or Not all men, some will be jelous, some will be envious, some will not give a fuck and some will show respect. The OP's claim was "All men". So thats all that needs to be proven wrong.

I could write exactly the same about women. The OP already starts with "All men" and then goes on how women are better. I guess its not the OP's fault that there dad was toxic and its not their fault that they are only attracted to toxic men. I lost interest after that. Only thing missing from what I read, is the idea of male respect. Where if someone is better than us we respect them. EDIT: Read the whole thing. You are looking at it too literally. In any given social situation, the top 20% are the most attractive. Its the advent of Dating Apps though that really mess this up. Also if you goto things like meetups, you only have to be top 20% of that meetup. From my experience of meetup groups and the guys that go, its not hard. Discipline is a skill that is not developed enough in this day and age. Welcome to the digital era. Again, Im not complaining though. A couple of hundred years ago, a man would of had to have passed a trial by fire, just staying alive would of been a challenge and in order to be attractive and/or successful, probably fought in a few wars. Now a days, lift and keep socially active. Its relitively simple and a large majority of our population can't even do that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/10/18 10:54 PM
3

What you have just said is why it is easier to become attractive than ever before. The competition are taking themselves out of the competition so they can spend their time in their virtual gaming world. The competition are not lifting because they would rather spend time in a virtual gaming fantasy realm. WIth the advent of VR, a guy is going to need to do even less to be attractive.

Also you mention crazy and chaos, are we talking career here or mental issues? The thing is Ive known women who are quite well off wh0 are bigger gold diggers than women who probably don't earn much but are willing to pay their own way. Career is not the be all end all.

Being in shape is the easiest improvement to make and it sorts out a lot of other issues, ie self-confidence. If a guy starts lifting, he is going to look in the mirror and feel better and better about himself. Who know's a guy who hates himself may start to develop some self love. But hey lets just tell him "looks dont matter" cuz of his feels. Telling him the gym will make a difference will at least give hope. I used to be that guy, I know the difference a gym makes.

We had the block NCO's intervene a few time and had the camp officers change the womans rooms a few times as there were a few "issues". It was generally given a pass though, and a little telling off. Its less pressure for a start than a date which has so many preconceived notions as to its meaning. Also, meeting for a drink, I will happily pay for first drink. If the woman I date just expects me to buy drink after drink, Im going to create a reason for leaving. Never really had to do this. Normally the woman goes, "Im having fun, fancy another drink"…

It dosn't matter though. Person 1: Accepts Traits A B C Person 2 accepts traits: A B C If the traits match, cool. If not, next each other. There is no man must accept this. Woman must accept this. Either they do or they don't. If a owman said she would only marry a man who was 6 ft 7 and had a 20 inch dick, So be it. Its her life, her relationships. Same for men with their own standards.

If you found what you wanted after experiencing the CC, then good for you. My belief is the main issue is not so much that women ride the CC, but the way it seems men are not allowed to have any views on who they want to settle with. Im not saying that all guys have relaistic views, but if they dont want a woman who had riden the CC, then surely that is their choice. Of course the anger sometimes displayed does not help matters and only makes things worst. Im not going to CMV you, you had fun an…

Ive mostly seen them online not IRL. I have known a few in real life, but from my own experiences they have been civil IRL and not actually tried to push this agenda. The only time they have revealed this side of them was if I purposefully "poked the bear" so to speak. I have recently realised, that no matter what a person believes, unless they are an extremist, treat them civil and they behave civil. Half the time, again from my own experiences, I was just "poking the bear" for a laugh, but the…

What's your gender, and do you have female friends? I am male and yes I have female friends How do your friendships with women differ from your friendships with men? They are more emotional, I open up more and listen mire. However with my male friends I like to just chill and relax. Although they are not as emotionally open, they serve a different purpose. However I do believe in reciprocation. Im not going to just listen, listen, listen, give, give, give. Especially when it comes to emotional s…

Why respond? "Are you guys dating?" "Oh my god, did you just see that.." point in random direction, then change topic. Its just like Stripper Game. "Do you want a dance?" "Oh my god, you have the most incredible accent where are you from?"

"WOmen need game". Women have always had game. Game was created by treating women, the same way, that a majority of women can be seen to treat men and relationships. IE, make it about more than just sex. Never know why this didn't dawn on me when I was younger.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
