High partner count isn't necessarily repulsive by itself, it's just a sign that a girl isn't relationship material. Guys don't immediately reject women for how many men they slept with because there's no way to even know that most of the time.

Also I think a lot of guys wouldn't want to be with a slut in part because they don't think they'll measure to her past partners. If we're talking about porn stars he knows he won't measure up.

I think most men who care to the extent of not even dating one are dudes who just couldn’t get laid when they were younger, so they’re angry about that still.
