Live in a "no-fault" state also... watched my brother get cleaned out for half his life's work by a no-good wife that was banging his best friend for a year. He got to keep his music equipment and the stock in his family business. She got the house, the cars, the boat, her business, etc. What I was told was basically, in a divorce without a prenup (and sometimes even with one), it just gets split right down the middle. I know somebody that's never getting married...

The whole basis of their criticism was essentially: Men are suffering at the hands of women. TRP suggests that men should instead make women suffer. Just next all of those retards immediately.

What did I just read. This looks like a rough draft of a 10th grader ranting in her diary. I hope she doesn't consider herself to be a journalist. And it's published by Salon! Hah.

Any woman you're dating and/or fucking should know that, inherently, without you saying a word about it, just by how you live and how you conduct yourself. Yep, and you do this by establishing boundaries and not being needy.

Once you're over the hump of kissing, do yourself a huge favor and watch some instructional videos about eating pussy and satisfying a woman. Women are probably not going to give you any meaningful guidance in person if you don't have a sound foundation. There was an especially good video where two female porn stars spend a half hour talking about oral and demonstrating. Very informative.

This is like Kimye and Brangelina. I see their marriages as more of a business merger for publicity capitalization. They're all incredibly high value and would still be supremely rich on their own. I could be wrong but I tend to believe that divorce for this class of people is not nearly as big of a deal as it is for the average Joe because they they have lawyers, and will still have a mountain of cash and people lined up out the door to get with them in the end. And because divorce isn't as muc…

Don't get married. Marriage is a scam. No man dreams of his big wedding day. So don't have one.

When a girl asks this, I usually hold it another second or two without reacting to let the tension bubble up a little more before telling them unapologetically that I was just checking them out (because, hey, I was). After all, this is my world, and I'll gaze upon and say (or not say) what I wish. They tend to respond positively to the confidence/vulnerability and dominance this communicates, and it seems to increase the comfort level, so next time there's a moment of silence she'll think back t…

Wait... it was rejected because it was "controversial"? That's horse shit. If it was in some way unethical, that would be another story, but this sounds like a pretty legit collection of data. Was the professor a post-wall female?

I was one of those kids that nailed every test but was punished constantly because I refused to do the pointless repetitive homework. I have virtually no appreciation for my public education, and I'm doing quite well today. Performance was never an issue for me, the toughest part was dealing with all the rules and time wasting exercises that make it "one size fits all"... TL;DR- one size fits all courses with crazy volumes of homework is the greatest conformity test

I went over to a plate's place a few weeks back for a hookup we had planned. Ended up standing on the porch for about 5 minutes with no answer at the door or the phone. Next day she texts that she was (disingenuously) sorry for missing me; she fell asleep. I don't even care if that was the truth, that was shitty and disrespectful and she's gone. Didn't even tell her. Kept that plate spinning for 2 years and dropped it like that. Maybe I was a little extreme, but I won't tolerate the slightest bi…

Fuck that bitch. She said she's not apologizing because she didn't do anything wrong "other than X and Y". So she's basically saying, hey I did these two shitty things to you, but you can go fuck yourself. You better quick put a ring on it. edit - Also some Grade-A hamstering and trickle truth all over in there.

I know her well enough, and she says it herself in lighthearted situations (like playing cards.) My point wasn't "say cunt and it will get you laid"... but rather the general idea of being bold. And judging by how anxious people here got about it despite all my disclaimers, it was indeed bold. Later she was laughing about it when she told her sister the story. Then we played Phase 10 (cards) and called each other cunts. Context is important and I knew it was A-OK, but still unexpected. I get it,…

Definitely! I have enough rapport with the girl though. I knew I was fine. It's just that when we used to hang out a lot more, I would have never dared to be so rough with my joking, or I would have followed up with a "just kidding".

This past Friday, I texted a girl to have sushi with me at 7:00 that night, she gave a tentative yes. She texts me back closer to dinner apologizing that she isn't in the mood and could we do it Saturday? This was kinda a relief for me because my mood had changed and I wasn't feeling excited about going out. I didn't want to miss out on a good opportunity to pull her chain, so I initially respond, "ah, don't be a cunt". This is hugely out of character for me, and the girl was probably caught off…

It's tough to have your ideas respected if you didn't bother to master your native language, or don't bother to present it without the distraction of a dozen errors. It's especially easy for trolls to use them as red herrings or to discount the substance of your message.

There are lots of people who are just looking for people to tell them the answers rather than forming their own answers, and I think that's a MAJOR problem of why educational forums like TRP are so controversial. There are also a lot of narrow-minded people that refuse to consider any viewpoints that diverge from their upbringing or limited experiences, so they feel threatened in a way and the internet is an easy place to be loud and anonymous. Think of American society as being a 300 million person committee. We suck at picking politicians this way, we suck at making laws this way, why would we be any good at setting social standards this way? We suck at seeking justice this way, which is why we have judges because mob rule would be pretty nasty. There's a reason why Apple doesn't design their hugely successful products by committee, and there's a reason I dread hearing that word associated to the software design process in my profess…

I'm well aware of the history and social influence of religion, I just want it to have no part of my life. I was brought up the whole way through Lutheranism and became atheist. I feel it's a refuge for feeble minds, a spawning ground for ignorance and bigotry, and a powerful advocate against critical thinking. I acknowledge the good it can provide a community as a social club, but any activity club can do that without having to flirt with brainwashing or being a cult. I could settle for somebod…

So all of the nonsense bullshit make-believe that is religion... is OK as long as it instills morals in a girl? There are other means to that end, like a good education and good family life. This is the red pill. No time for make-believe and manipulation.

Trying to swim against the current... raised by mom and society at large to treat women as sacred to the point they are deified. Thanks to pickup/seduction literature and discussion and a concerted effort, things are really starting to change for me. I know they're people, just like me, wanting pleasure and contentment, but I feel like I was brainwashed for 20+ years. I'm 31, single, no kids, and killing it in all of the life basics: in shape, stylish, house-car-job-credit score-etc, and for the…

You're young yet, so be patient. You have a lot to learn yet about yourself, others, and life in general. Just don't be a zombie/victim coasting through life... remain aware, and be honest, and use your resources to always try and improve, liberate, and express yourself. If you discover and accept your identity, whatever it is, and you act on your principles, you'll have no reason to question yourself. You will become ever more confident and the people you interact with will notice this. It's pe…

Yeah, definitely (about our puritanical society). Don't be a slave to it though! Some people may judge me for it, but something happened to me when I turned 30 this year. Lots of my inhibitions were shed and I just don't give a shit anymore about a lot of stuff that used to be major hangups for me. I curse a lot more, I have sex a lot more, and I don't give a shit what people think about me. I realized they're the ones with the problem, not me - they're insecure, over-judgmental assholes trying …

Self-improvement is always a good thing... I've always done what I could in this arena, and have had modest success with women. Still I've always been left wanting. This past year I turned 30, and had a sort of mini mid-life crisis if you want to call it that... I think of it more as an awakening that has lead to a deep inner peace. There are two phrases that came to my mind around this time, that I've repeated ever since, and that I feel have changed my life in short order. "Zero fucks" If you'…
