I think an important part of happiness is having some variation. Try something new, with someone new.

I do IT and I'll tell ya what... it sucks. I make around 100k in LCOL, but sitting at a desk staring at a monitor all day really does suck. Pick up a trade, learn it, work for yourself. I've tossed around the idea of it myself. Luckily I'm pretty handy. I would just need to pick a skill and hone it in.

I've had a rough year of family deaths, custody case, and dealing with my parents estate. Finally have some breathing room in life and getting to have some fun and do a few things I want. Actually doing pretty decent. I want to relocate, but I have told myself to enjoy the next few months first.. Spend winter getting house up to snuff, purging unnecessary crap, and job hunting

Sane here brother. The more they preach/nag on about loyalty, and "if you're gonna cheat just leave", and down their friends for cheating, they more likely they are doing it themselves.

Seriously. At first your home might seem empty, you might feel lonely, but not is the time look at your interests/hobbies and dive into them. What do you like to do in your free time? particularly something you liked doin before you had said girlfriend, but never had time to anymore?

Really... Why continue to build these elaborate event locations for an Olympic season to have it rot away in the following years. Like all things in the world today, someone is making bank off of it and doesn't give two shits about the athletes or who wins/loses.

yea... The last girl I gave serious consideration to a relationship with, we "met" a several times before I took her out on a traditional date. They were trips to a park (we both had kids close in age so they would play), go to her house and she made dinner, I brought a 6pack which we shared and we watched a movie on netflix after.. Simple, no big money spent by either sides and even the traditional date she asked what her share of the expense was.

If she she’s actually interested in you she’ll say yes or counteroffer. That second part is the part I took a long time to understand. They would make every excuse in the world they weren't available and would say "Another time?" or similar generic term. Someone that is truly interested will say I can't on day X. Can we plan something for Day Y or Z instead?

Its important to add that the laws and culture of countries like the US will easily "corrupt" the good ones too.

Just have a girlfriend, don't reproduce, don't let her live with you, and don't pay for her bills, and don't pay for anything more than a one evening date (like part of a car, expensive item, or vacations). In 90% of places this is enough to avoid child support, alimony, and common law. If you want to avoid #metoo, you need to avoid women all together.

I could be wrong but teaching at universities likely means you have middle/upper class people who came from families and social circle with some form of money and have seen the impact of divorce rape, child support, and #metoo. You probably also have some lower class individuals that busted their asses, got grants/scholarships/loans and are tryin to break our of their social environment. I would be curious to hear a similar from say a community college professor, or places where the kids grew up…

I disagree to an extent... You are less likely to find single moms and their problems AS NEIGHBORS. however, if you own and live in a swanky home by yourself, they will smell you out from their ghettos.
/r/MGTOW21/07/21 04:47 PM

I'm pretty sure if your house / property and an eyesore and could negatively impact the values of others around it, those neighbors can get the local government to enforce all kinds of shit upon you, even with out an HOA. And as with most things, the more money you have (more expensive neighborhood), it more influence on government.

oh god... Glass Ceiling is still BS in my opinion. I always look back to the IT field. 20 years ago Women mocked IT and very very few got into it. Its not even that old of a field anyways. So they just started entering it more and more 10 years ago and wonder why there are few female IT execs... DUH!!

I'm surprised. 15 years ago I know a lot of women that would avoid Lane Bryant because it was for "plus sized" women..... even though all those women were plus sized anyways, they would still go to stores like Abercrombie and VS thinking they could look like those models. (Sadly, they would probably look more presentable if they wore clothes that fit them properly.) Granted this was 15 years ago. I have since learned to not go shopping with women........ and avoid malls unless I specifically nee…

I know a lot of females that go to therapy and get prescribed x, y, z, q, r, d, f, g, and Y for their problems. Sad part is they are always recommending any number or combination of those to their female friends with "similar problems" I have been in points in my life where I really didn't care about anything, not even my daughter nor myself. I have seen and helped some very depressed guy companions. I don't know any men that take medicine for it. Many of us did need to talk to someone, but in a…

This is kind of how I feel. Plus many aspects of life are regulated if you don't have it. For example I would still have to wear a mask at my job if I wasn't. Its all the little things the government / people are mandating it for that led me to eventually get it. Another perk... now I have a 5G signal shooting out my Arse, I always have awesome cell strength!

Most OnlyThots don't make much money from their thottery Much like social media, you only really see the big success stories form OnlyFans.. Why? to attract more "Talent" and hopefully more payees. Its might like sports, music, etc. Sure you have some very sucessful people, but you also have many more that don't make it that great and/or have short lived careers in it and blow al their money fast.

When I bought my house, there was an oversized 2x2 garage with 1-bedroom "apartment/condo" type setup above it for sale. That was the entire "house" It was beautiful and definitely a bachelor home. If I didn't have a kid, I would have bought it.

I lucked out because I have an 1000sq foot house with a 2 car garage with comfortable width for a 3rd in side. I can park in there all year, keep my project car in there all year and have room for a work area / home gym.. Small yard. Enough for some outdoor cookouts and my daughter to run around, but I can push mow it in 1 hour tops unfortunately I do wish it was in a nicer area, but I also like my $1000/mo (mort/ins/Tax) and most places with that type of garage are 50% more money at minimum wit…

My advice: Keep clean. Drinking because you "hate life" is a bad road to go down, even if its just a few each night. It has compounding physical effects you you likely don't realize. I now only drink (2-3 max) when I go out to socialize and that is once a week. Overall I am physically better, consuming less caffeine, more focused, and significantly reduced my anxiety because of all of that. Do what you can go GTFO out of her house. "men in their mid-years are feeling the pinch" Such bullshit. If one had to choose between a SAHM or one that worked a career - I would take a career women. Less people at home = less housework to do. More income = more comfort / sooner retirement and you should be able to paid a mad once a week if you want. more feminine in behavior than their western counterparts, As an American, seeing the way the traditional Asians behave and present themselves is very appealing. They are often quiet, soft spoken, and even look more feminine. The average attitude of an American woman is straight up trashy.

Good point. They are likely drawn in by the pay appeal. Also, 20 years ago it was a lot more code / command line base. These days most of it is now GUI based with a plethora of error checking built in. Definitely has made it easier. To me, MGTOW has 2 parts. Guys that hate and shit on women Guys that want true equality and avoid women because it doesn't exist. I think if Society was fair toward men, we would still have MGTOW-like groups. It might have a different name, likely more of a "Mens Club" since we would be allowed to have our own spaces. This is because most women expected Equal Oppertunity to just "give" these better jobs. What they did not expect was the amount of effort, focus, and dedication that was required to perform that job effectively. They are not prepared for this because they slacked their entire lives, and were just thrown in with the wolves. This falls along the lines of bitching about not enough upper level IT management being female. The one exception is photography.. Some women take interest in it, however its 75% or more to populate their Social Media. Sadly though I am seeing less and less boys with interests too. Growing up my dad would restore classic cars, built 80% of my uncles house, do plumbing, electrical, got into tech, all sorts of shit. These days, $100k a year isn't even that big of a deal. Its very comfortable, but mid-middle class at best. I thought this was a new book. I was shocked to find it was published in 2013. Females these days are woke to the idea that men don't want to marry. Many are perfectly fine just having a kid and taking them for child support then moving on to have another kid with someone else for the same reason.

Enough child support / divorce cases will leave these men with scraps. Equal opportunity is keeping more and more men from high earning jobs. Women want the jobs but then want kids and often leave work and collect welfare and child support, thus delaying men from entering their ideal career job/improvement. I think he was in the right place at the right time Personally I think this is the case with a lot of "rags to riches" stories. I think a decent amount of success can be made by anyone with a good work ethic. But those that go from decent success to 1% is often done with luck.

Actually, I find my daughter is more depressed when using a smartphone/tablet. Noticed that on the tablet at the age of 3. Quickly took it away from her and reserved it for certain occasions like car rides, or ONCALL for work and I need you to sit still for an hour in my office. Fast forward 7 years when she got her first smartphone, and within a month locked it down so she couldn't play games on it for the same reason. I bet, women would be more depressed at first (like my kid), but after a cou…

In my opinion, unless there is a compelling reason the child shouldn't be with one parent or the other, then there should be no child support. If one parent can't afford to take care of the kid, the other should have full custody.

" I barely look 18 " One thing I liked about turning 30 is people in general started treating me more like a grown-up vs a kid. More so, as I started approaching 40 (I too look young for my age though). Its a generalization that wisdom comes with age. There is something truth to it as well. With age typically comes more experience.

think there is indeed a shift happening, every kid in junior high is aware of what a simp is and it's harder for women to get attention. There is a shift and its from the internet. Sure it makes it easier for women to be thots, but I think greater strides have been made to show their true intentions. The internet has made it easier for us to not just learn about the nature of women in close proximity to us, but all around the world world in which their behaviors are fairly consistent.

Join a club or two, keep busy. Work on building yourself and you will be less bothered by the attitudes of others. Also this will look good when you finish college and join the real world. I've noticed two types of women at casinos. Those that go to gamble. They LOVE to just sit around all day just like they do at the casino. They often have no work ethic and expect to just hit big and be done. Those that go to find a sugar daddy. while this breed is also lazy and has no worth ethic, they at least put in effort to attempt to keep themselves attractive (these days, often not enough). They want to live without working and turn motherhood into a paid job This is the case in the US also. While we don't have paid child care, they can get money, housing, utilities, cell phone, and food for free. Basically have a few kids and now you can live better than people making minimum wage.. Many of them will work out "arrangements" with their baby daddies to get support out of court in cash, then move in their boyfriends who never put that as their actual address and pay a share in "rent"…

Married or having kids means an employee is less likely to move away. I never said they don't help, but why do they have all these lavish buildings, cars, and vacations when they should scale it back to mediocre levels and help more? I will add though that funding hospitals is pretty impressive. Yes.. never heard of court appointment lawyers be denied to someone for reasons other than money. The problem circulates is when a vindictive ex will constantly go back to court for every little thing using their free Lawyer, while the other partner has to pay every time. 90% right on brother. Women focus and read on facebook, instagram, twitter, etc. They all converse and spew back what they they see how. "Can you marry" "and still be a MGTOW man" = no. You can be married then become MGTOW, while remaining married but those are rare because in most cases, the women will leave. No one in their right mine that is already MGTOW will get married.

You should also add that tech and engineering used to be frowned up by women, so there is a lot less in them, and even as the #s even out, they still have #s less years of experience. But typical women nature is to want to see everything equal (or in their favor) NOW. They rarely understand that stuff like this may take a generation or two.

Definitely is still all over mainstream TV, media, social media, etc. but there is more and more places like this, and social media bits popping up for MGTOW. I also, I speculate that as more and more statistics are put out regarding equal wages, equal employment opportunities, etc, men are even more less like to bend over for women. Its no longer just women complaining anymore. There are actual statistics proving the equality and many times inequality in women's favor.

In the USA, most people mid-30s+ were raised in an environment where men were supposed to do things/give to/idolize women. This was the though from most parents, new papers, magazines, and especially TV. Consider it long-term brainwashing. There was always the MGTOW but they were always "outcasts", "mental", "prejudice" against women. Many people woke as they got older through experience. They got fucked over themselves, and saw many of their friends fucked over. and suddenly the MGTOW wasn't cr…

What is a "waste of money" is relative to how much money one has. If you have "fuck you" money, the cost of hookers is nothing. While most upper middle-class people would still find the money better used elsewhere as the cost of hookers over the lifetime would probably have an impact on retirement plans.

I'll add to /u/argercy {my additions may be based on location} Free smart phone, "Cash allowance" on their EBT/SNAP/Food Stamp card. Would I really like an S4, sure, but why when a tuned S4 would give me more power than I need. Though this topic seemed too turn into a /r/pf shitfest of pinching every last penny. I think its also important to note the difference of classy car, then overkill classy. Many brand new cars offer expensive features that just aren't necessary, so snag a slightly used one and save 50% of the depreciation. Also financially smart people know you don't need an AMG version for a car that you will drive around town.

No Kids: If you pick up after yourself and aren't a slob, it should take an hour a week to clean the house outside the kitchen. Another hour to do laundry including folding & ironing as washing/drying clothes takes a whopping 5 minutes to load/unload/swap. Kids 6+ shouldn't more than double that as they should be taught to clean up after themselves, plus they can and should help.

Mine barely worked, only able to cover her own bills {at most}, never housing costs/food. Once preggo {almost a decade ago!} stopped keeping the house clean, cooks 2 times a week at most. And most cooking involves frozen or boxed food. Needed me to run errands with her all the time, and always brought new drama into our lives. Contributed absolutely nothing to "us", Sadly it took me too long to realize this.

Teach them a lesson?? Did she really expect to just park and the 1-year old will just unbuckle, climb out of the car, and walk in? what the fuckity fuck fuck is wrong with her?? oh wait.. There have been some very insightful posts here about planning an escape. "Spousal Abandonment Syndrome" exists because when you leave your wife, every law/media/judge will say fuck you and screw you over. These guys are planning accordingly and keeping their game face on. I bet they have a stock pile of proof for legitimate reasons why they did what they did, and they shall keep it to themselves until there is a good reason to let it out.

Funny thing. I recently cut WAY back on the drinking. Last two months there were 5 times I wanted to get out, so I popped by the local casino with my "drinking money" {~$60}. 4 of the 5 times I left with $300+ more than I went with. The fifth time was only $25 more. I go on weeknights when the games are cheaper, the players and dealers also tend to be more social and less sloppy drunk as they aren't "vacationers" on a weekend away. When I used to go and booze it up, I rarely left ahead.

I live in the lovely NE US, and subarus are popular because you get pretty decent performance for the money, lots of mods, make more power pretty easily, AWD + Standard. Those last two options really limits your options as almost all AWD cars in this country are automatic/cvt. Also available in a hatch/wagon helped make them a all around functional vehicle. Ah... US. I'm not sure exactly how measurement is calculated, but most of these would have two 10'x10' or smaller bedrooms, small bathroom with tub, a living room, and an eat-in kitchen. Basically the equivalent of an average-to-decent 2-bedroom apartment. One perk is they often have basements for storage. Also our prices very greatly by location and I live in a cheaper city for 100k+ people

Tough part is it could be a few months before you find one you want. Then another 60 days until its closed.... Luckily where I live, you can find "starter homes" that are 850-1000 sq feet, with 1-car garage, and small yard in a decent neighborhood for 50% of the cost of an apartment {mortgage, taxes, and insurance}. Looking at the numbers, I can't justify renting.. It would be cheaper to me to buy one of these even if only for a few years, and take the hit on realtor costs upon selling.

My V8 truck gets 22-23 MPG on the highway too By today's standards though, that's poor. While yes trucks have come a long ways in 20 years, so have cars. Any they still turn like fat chicks. I do agree that the majority of truck owners use the "truck" aspect of it 0-3 times a year. But if you like it and can afford it, tell them to piss off because that's all that really matters.

Men will call women fat/sloots/bitch etc when they deserve it and move on. When this happens, its easy for a bystander to witness. Women do it passive aggressively on a constant basis so bystanders that hear a few words of it don't realize what is actually going on.

But the key to the diet for me is to eat clean. Avoid fancy sauces, breads, bagged/canned food. Eat meats with dry rub seasoning and fruits/vegetables from the produce section. I can over-indulge in this food and still feel a lot better physically and mentally than eating at a calorie deficit of snacks. Exercise is key.. Doesn't even need to be a gym. Why would anyone want less (household) income? Shit logic like that baffles me. The cost of daycare for 2 kids in the US would yield a wife making minimum wage a negative effect on the Household income. Once the kids are in school, it changes some. I'm still open to the possibility that there are some NAWALT's out there The younger ones that fit this category will eventually have a day when they wished they "adventured" more The older ones that fit this category had their "fun" already. most will want it again someday. This "fun" can be of varying degrees from sleeping with someone new every month to getting gangbanged by highschool baseball teams and their equipment.

Really the only way to turn back the clock is to turn back to the old government too. You don't want to work or contribute to society, you don't get to make decisions on government, who runs it, or its rules.

Another part not mentioned is look at how they live their public lives. Keanu and Will Smith both are out there encoring people to be the best person they can be. Have experiences. Help others. Etc. Paparazzi and/or general public capture this. Not just publicity photos. Lohan is out there getting bombed at night clubs, arrested for Drugs/drinking + driving, etc. Not saying the other two didn't have their fun, but they seems to limit it and definitely didn't let it define their lives. A lot of office/sales/IT work, especially salaried, often have to work an hour+ at home off hours, weekends, as that what coincides with clients hours, etc. I think this has made to a little more lax in day time use. Handling personal phones call, long lunches etc. to balance everything out. But...... On the flip side, a lot of hourly jobs are faced with people diddling on their cell phones instead of work because of social media addiction.

A lot of time it goes by "potential earning" income. So if you have a job for $100k and it closes, and your new job only pays you $65k, support payments could be based on the $100k because you should be able to find a new job. Guys have also been screwed over by this because they have taken new jobs with a pay cut, but hours that give them more time with their kids, and it didn't matter I knew a woman who was going to court to drop child support because it was based on his pay + crazy OT... staring at her phone This is the problem. Studies have proven over and over that when you get interrupted at work, it takes 3-5min to get your focus level where it was before at what you were working on. Looking at your phone every 5 minutes means you won't get shit done. I stand by my belief that kids notice this shit. They can tell mommy or daddy isn't paying attention. If I open a company and sell soda called Mountain Spew and it becomes all the internet rage before the product is fully released, I guarantee you Coke/Pepsi won't be on social media stating no one will want it. They will compare the product to their own and ask why people are excited about so they can restructure and improve their p…

I've heard the term used around me called "welfare discount". Around May you see a lot of barely used TVs, PS4s, Xbox1s, New cellphones for great deals on craigslist and Facebook. I think electronics and high-energy cartoons are a start of it as kids. A lot of parents didn't respect enforcing chores, discipline, homework, and want their kids to see them as a friend instead of a parent {I see this with moms more than dads}. Cell phones and social media has made them accustomed to instant responses so they have no patience left and expect everything to be instant. We're going to reach a point soon where we can't treat a disease that used to be curable, and people will start dying. My vastly unpopular opinion is that you can't save everyone. Between these new diseases and overpopulation we are doomed to be hit with the next "plague". The only difference this time is that its been procrastinated longer than before, so it will hit harder and have a larger population pool to wipe out.

The question to be asked is how many MGTOW say no to sex without justification? While there may be some people here that make it a game to deny as many women as possible, I think most of us learn to evaluate the situation and the potential bad outcomes of sex. There comes a line where the drama created from sex with someone isn't worth the aggravation or even risks associated with it {i.e. sex w/co-worker} Not chasing after sex =/= denying yourself sex.

If I were the company, I wouldn't worry about her going public as I would go stand right next to her with documentation about all the other times... Then again, its not my company and probably illegal to out her.

Saw one of my ex's best {and hot} friends recently. Its been 6+ months. She is getting chunky, depressed because her Chads and Sugar Daddy are full of drama. Also, she is hovering right around 30. Meanwhile she tells me ex, Dammit... NewLife_2017 getting sexier every year, even with going bald. Fuck yea! Also This cracks me up. Men vs. Women on honesty toward themselves. Same day: "hot" ex's friend was talking to my ex about how she is gaining weight, she doesn't know why, she has been home cryi…

When someone asks me about my life i just don't mention my relationship issues as they are extensive. If a good friend asks about my ex and I, I usually just say "still shit" and move on. Whining about stuff gets you nowhere and no one likes to hear it. Mentioning struggles productively can be beneficial I.e. My ex bounced to Europe to i am still adjusting to being a full time single dad.

I see a lot of posts about her possibly coming back and trying to get custody etc. Keep your social media very tight and highly scrutinize who you allow on it and what you post. She will use it against you. Blocking her won't help as she will make a fake account / have a friend add you.

4 isnt true.... some bosses/ employers are flexible. But having a kid makes it harder to change jobs as jobs will be more flexible with a known good asset than a new one

I would skip town if I were you. But in reality it's not that easy if you have bills and a child to support. I'm guessing her trip to Europe is just a visit and will only last a couple weeks. Any chance you could find a new apartment/ home and move? Finding you wouldn't be too difficult if she knows where you work, your family, etc. But this would be a start. I would probably do this, and get a different car

I'm a drunk on the weekends because I can't stand to be alone in my head, and my job is all that gives me purpose and meaning Monday-Friday As others stated, get a hobby. Join a recreational sports league. Do something you enjoy doing. If you don't know what that is, join some online outdoor activites groups. Go hunting, skeet shooting, hiking, mountain biking, Kick boxing, etc.

To add to this, if the girl has kids, judges have been known to give them extra time during winter months in places it gets cold

I second this. When I learned mine was cheating I immediately did one. Some states you have only have a few years to fight against it if you signed the birth certificate . Some states I believe if you wife has a kid you either get a paternity test immediately at birth or it's automatically yours per law

Where I live, no lease means they still have to be given 30 days notice, and that 30 days typically means a calendar month, so you can give it to them on the 15 as it rolls over to being 45 day notice

All the pressure is off When the ex went to visit her mother out of town over the summer for a week, I had the kid with me, and 75% of the pressure was off. I made plans and were able to stick with them, without fighting to get out the door on time, or last minute "im hungry lets go get food", or I need to grab this and this and stop at 5 stores. Things went smoothly, and were very peaceful.

If we were married it would have big grounds, since we are not, it is meh?? To the courts. Given her lack of steady employment, terrible credit {if that counts?}, I was advised a judge has no grounds where it wouldn't be split custody. At the same time she isn't doing drugs, DWI w/child, beating the kid, etc where the judge would strip a daughter from her mother.

Get a lawyer now, find out what your CP payments would be like if your gf had custody, Already consulted and this is my plan, but prepared for the alternative.

Child support will not be any more than you are spending because of your gf Actually, court ordered would be a lot more. I already consulted a lawyer on this. The first "downsizing" from the rental home was because the landlord wanted to raise rent almost 20%. During the downsizing I made her get the apartment in her name fully, and made her at least man up and pay her own bills while I get my own on track. She knows I have a lot of debt, knew I made okay money, but has no clue the amount of "cu…

There is a 75% chance I will get pounded with Child support. After tax season, I will be saving $300/mo on CC bills, plus elevating my credit from low 700s to an even better position. Sadly, I have 1 kid with her, so I can't cut completely.

They do that as a way to justify their cheating Some of the biggest cheaters I know, are the ones that are most vocal about "how they could never cheat on a guy."

The thing with criticism is that it can be very constructive. It can show the door way to which you can improve yourself. The delivery is crucial though. Women seem to be bent out of shape about a little of pointless thing they don't like about their man. Or, they criticize things that make them a hypocrite. Telling her husband, he is making poor choices for drinking & driving is acceptable. Tell her husband he should put the seat down after peeing is not acceptable because, then she should be p…

After a few years of drinking more than I should, depression, blah blah... Exercise was a big game changer. I was losing weight on a Keto diet, but it was a rollercoaster. Once I started lifting again, I started losing more. Seeing this progress made me want to stick to healthier eating. Weekday drinking makes it harder to workout, I didn't have as much energy for my daughter. etc. Its a cycle that builds upon itself. I cut out weekday drinking cold-turkey and for 2 weeks I didn't sleep for shit…

My kid's mother goes with all of those excuses. While not landwhale status, she should lose at least 30lbs and constantly complains about her weight I do desk work for a living and I know from sitting all day that if I don't walk around or work out, do something after work my back feels like shit. Guess what???? Sure you may have scoliosis but sitting on your ass all day long is making it worse. I remember reading a medical study where obesity and shitty eating causes Thyroid problems.
