It's easy to see how effective they are. Go spend a few weeks without contact with attractive females (monk mode) and then go somewhere where there are few and breathe calmly and deeply. I have raced in the past. Drag, road course, and some rally. I have noticed that more masculine men tend to be into things like racing and working with machines in a competitive fashion like that. Hobbies that mix physicality with knowledge tend to be straight up the Dark Triad's alley. Andretti was a lady killer, as was Senna. Both were straight up cool customers on the track as well.
