Mother's with mother issues tend to be Tomboyish. They are more likely to be RPW than anything else. Is the father relatively RP?

Met a girl with mother issues, but speaks highly of her father, is this still considered a red flag?

Which is more of a red flag is a question of degree.

If the mother put the girl down her whole life, while the father was just neglecting her, I'd take the daddy issue. If the father was abusive and the mother enabled it, I'd take the mommy issue. Ideally, a given woman would have neither issue.

The standard RP advice seems to be that you're not looking to settle down with her, just spin plates until discarding her. Therefore, by the time that parents become an issue, you'll be long gone from her life.
