I am confused by the ideas in this sub sometimes. I would agree that women get away with not changing for the better by feeling sorry for themselves and getting validation from others, and this is unfair as men cannot do the same. But isn't simply accepting this of women doing the same thing? Instead of validating her despite her failure you're choosing to shrug your shoulders and ignore it stating "women will be women". We are all lazy by nature and if someone isn't pushed to change they won't,…

I don't think it's necessary to tell him it will increase, keep it as a nice surprise every now and then for now and as you grow more comfortable and figure out what you can handle, I think things will naturally flow with the seriousness of the relationship. It's not like you're trying to lock him into marriage with the promise of more meat dishes. It's a matter of being more willing to make sacrifices for someone who has shown you (through commitment) that you are important to them and those sa…

I'm no longer vegan, but dated two enthusiastic meat eaters while I was. Both seemed to be very touched that I would cook meat for them although I was pushing aside a lot of my beliefs to do so. While you don't want to act like his wife before he commits you are also trying to give him a taste of how you will take care of him and contribute to the relationship when he does. As you said, he seems happy with the current set up and it also seems from your conversation that he had already accepted t…

I'm a bit confused by your reply. A high partner count that you have racked up in the past is really not something that you can work on. It's not like someone who's had 10 ONS can work harder on their game and suddenly be on par with a virgin to a man who really cares about a low number. You should be working on yourself regardless. Change what you want to change in yourself and accept the things you cannot change - and find someone who wants to be with you because of or regardless of these unch…

It all depends on the man, they will all have different opinions on how many partners is "too many" for them. Some care a lot, some a little, and some don't care at all. I think the heavy emphasis on a low number count on the red pill doesn't really exist in the "real world", at least to the same degree. I always see men advise on TRP only committing to virgins - but your average man could see virginity (non religious) a huge red flag depending on your age. I think the most important thing is to…

I like solo male because the men are usually more vocal and it also focusses on their pleasure and facial expressions etc. In straight porn it rarely seems that the man is even enjoying himself to be honest and he is usually completely silent/expressionless.

I didn't think of that! But unfortunately The nearest city is 500km away and I don't have a car, so I don't think it's a very realistic option. I think I might just put effort into self improvement and see if any invitations come my way. If not, I'll always be able to put serious effort into dating once I move.

The surrendered single suggests giving him your number. While it may seem incredibly forward, in fact it is not because you are leaving all of the decision making to him - just providing him the means to ask you out if you want to. Saying something like "here's my number in case you wanted to catch up some time" is a really clear message, but it isn't demanding or aggressive. It's also very unlikely that he will ever reject you - after all, you aren't asking for anything - so you don't have to b…

These are my love languages and I (unsurprisingly) disagree. Gifts make me feel loved because they are a physical reminder of the fact that that person cares for me. A "gift" doesn't have to be something lavish - a card or a flower picked out of the garden is enough to make me weak at the knees. Besides, it goes both ways. I love surprising my SO with little trinkets - things he's mentioned offhandedly or decided not to buy for whatever reason. And there is nothing I love more than cooking a nic…

I'm gifts and acts of service, he's words of affirmation and touch. I read the book pretty recently and it has made a huge difference to our relationship. While he was taking care of my needs, I wasn't really meeting his. I was doing things for him, which he appreciated, but he really needed to hear the words. I never really told him I loved him before because...well, it didn't occur to me! I don't care if I hear it. Words are cheap in my opinion. But I've noticed him being so much more affectio…

Okay I'll concede it is then just a masculine woman. I suppose I've been exposed to the term "alpha woman" mostly from feminist sources and it is unlikely they are going to label these qualities negatively. That sort of clears up where you coming from but I'm afraid I still disagree. Do men really not strive to find the highest quality women to sleep with? The most beautiful/pleasant/feminine/etc.? Having sex requires resources, would men not rather spend those on a woman who is "above the rest"…
/r/RedPillWomen24/03/15 07:33 AM
1

I didn't know that, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I tended to think "alpha woman" was used in a different way though - I took it to mean a woman who preferred numerous casual relationships, valued career success and advancement above all else, was capable of being an aggressive negotiator, commanded respect for others, not emotionally vulnerable etc. basically, a woman with "alpha" traits (and now that I put that into words, I do see how that relates to hierarchy). Clearly not RPW's id…

I love body hair especially if it's dark, but I hate any facial hair - I don't like the look of a beard and don't like any coarse stubble on my face when we kiss.

Surely you agree though that there are women who exhibit alpha traits. What do we call them?
/r/RedPillWomen18/03/15 11:58 AM

I disagree, I don't think status to the other gender is how you determine who is alpha and who is not. "Alpha" simply refers to the exhibiting of certain traits - whether you are male or female. Edit: added some words.

This was exactly my problem, and sticking very strictly to a three drink limit did it for me. I have no guarantee I can control myself if I have any more than that, yet it is an amount that lets me "slip under the radar" so I don't get grilled by my friends for not drinking.

Trust me, I'm no supermodel! I'm maybe a 5 or 6 without make up - that's why, until recently, I hadn't really gone without it for such a long time.

1) Pre RP I was basically the same. I have always rejected the label "feminist" and am naturally very submissive. However, I was very naive, and let people take advantage of me a lot. I did not realise that I let people take advantage of me until I discovered this sub and reflected on my past. I was not aware of the "harsh truths" of TRP and was very idealistic. 2) My ex introduced me to some anti-feminism stuff. What he said made me very angry, actually, but once I did the research I had to adm…

I don't know if this is applicable in your situation, but I would wait until the man said it first. Even if you truly say it without the expectation of hearing it back (and communicate this), I tend to think he would feel a little pressured to do so. As men are "the gatekeepers of commitment" in my opinion saying it first is pressuring him into giving you that commitment, and he may view it that way. I don't really agree with what's prescribed to TRP men there. I think the man should say it firs…

Well, then it's the same as for women. A man who has had a lot of sex with fewer partners is the ideal. Then, he has the experience, without the negative repercussions of sleeping around. Perhaps women here are thinking back to losing their virginity with a man who was also losing his. That was my case, and it was undeniably awkward and not particularly enjoyable. I don't really care to repeat that....and I certainly don't want to be the one giving directions - that would place me in a more domi…

The word "challenge" has always had more positive that negative connotations for me. Can't really think of another word that's fits, though I suppose you know my meaning anyway. I think growing and working together can also involve "challenging" each other in the right ways - in a way that doesn't create conflict or tension, but sort of more encouraging. I also think that my particular examples apply to initial attraction more than an established relationship - for example, "challenging" your SO…

Sounds like we're looking for the same thing. I desperately want more resources on "girl game" as well. Men have a plethora of information at their fingertips, ranging from general ideas to detailed tips about female psychology, body language, etc. All too often I see girl game reduced to "don't be a bitch, feed him, give him sex" with people citing that men are simple creatures. Well, that's not enough for me! And I think it's a mistake to underestimate how "simple" men are. You could just as e…

Oh really, jewellery too? That does surprise me. I often forget to put jewellery on but always get compliments when I do. I actually strive to try and wear more jewellery! Though I suppose you're probably talking about excessive jewellery, maybe lots of large pieces? If you mean blemishes that's possible, but a lot of blemishes are caused by hormones and women have more fluctuations in that regard. I know women who break out at a particular time in their cycle regardless of what they do to their…

Interesting, I guess it would be horrible. I used to wear perfume on my neck until my ex complained that it tasted horrible. I'd never be able to go without moisturiser though, and I'm guessing that tastes just as terrible as make up.

Yes I tend to agree with you now. I'll still wear make up for special occasions, and that way you ensure you get the "wow" response, rather than turning up with your usual make up just a bit darker.

I've based this on the responses I received from my last post, combined with what men have basically been telling me my entire life. It seems that in general a lot of men agree that women look better with make up, but prefer that it isn't worn or minimal on a daily basis. This is for a variety of reasons but mostly boils down to a) she will look different without it and this "shatters" the illusion and is a bit of a turn off, b) they get it on their face/clothes etc when they hug or kiss you, c)…

Yeah I do wonder if it's a kind of vicious cycle, blocking pores etc. with makeup which causes blemishes that...then need to be covered with make up. My skin still needs some improvement, but it's much better than it was.

Yeah my under eye area is not the best, and can't really be fixed as its genetic unfortunately. I definitely benefit from some BB cream to even everything out.

Oh yes when I say "make up" (and I now realise when men say "make up") it's referring to obvious/clearly visible make up. Women who wear make up definitely get more attention from men in general, there's no denying that. Men lust over celebrities who are caked in it. I could see how you could take that the wrong way, but I wouldn't worry too much. He obviously thinks your beautiful without make up, and the same couldn't necessarily be said about the other girls.

I won't have children without being married. Most men on TRP see marriage as a risk that's not worth taking, and with things as they are currently that's understandable. But I just can't imagine a quality women being enthusiastic about raising children without getting married first. To me, that would be a huge red flag and a sign that she is not child-raising material in the first place.

I think women can be funny. I think I'm funny, and I seem to make people laugh a lot, but it's definitely in a very different way to men. I could never do stand up comedy, for example. I really just say comments about things that are surprising to people and make them laugh, my humour isn't "aggressive" like I think a lot of male humour is. There are quite a few female comedians who I find funny, though they are far outweighed by men. I've seen comments on here saying being funny is unattractive…

Honestly, I find this a bit offensive. To insinuate that we "don't have a choice" but to treat "beta" men like something we scraped off the bottom of our shoes and that this is some kind of favour to them is ridiculous. I see a lot of variations of the "it's not women, that's the way they are, you need to change yourself" around here but I imagine that's more of a motivation thing than a way to free women of all responsibility and blame. They key thing in your story is that you researched and de…

Yes I've got some time ahead of me! I've got an app where I basically track everything, though I got into the habit before entering cocoon mode. It's called lumen trails but it's not free. You can create lists and notes and things like that. I use it to track of my budget and shopping lists etc. I also used to use it to keep track of things my ex said offhandedly so I could surprise him later with my "amazing memory" (like if he mentioned a dish he hadn't had in a while, I'd make it for him that…

I'm in monk mode at the moment. I like to refer to it as "cocoon mode" because hopefully I'll emerge a beautiful butterfly at the end. I broke up with my ex about three months ago and decided to take some down time and better myself. I've given myself until next July because I think that's the maximum time I can be off the market in order to have children in the time frame I want (before 30). Here's my list: * no alcohol (though I've broken that with a glass of wine here and there) * not buying …

Agreed. You're trying to communicate two main things: a) you know what you're doing b) you're hot stuff and in high demand. Why "tell" her that rather than having it obvious from your actions/manner? It's kind of like saying "I have a great personality" or "I'm a great person" rather than just...being a great/interesting person. I think my ex said that as a way to suss out my count, actually, and thought volunteering the information himself first was the way to do it. But really he should be doi…

I think a "healthy" amount of past sexual experiences increases a man's SMV. This is all very subjective though. What is "healthy" to one person may be different to another. I struggled for a long time with my ex's history, and honestly, I still don't think I'm over it. It was definitely one of the key reasons we broke up. Unfortunately, he told me his history (and believe me I didn't ask for it!) long after I fell in love with him and thus the struggle. I was a bit confused by my own reaction, …

Somehow I've always been the one with a slightly higher sex drive in my past relationships, so I've never really had to think about it. However, my most recent ex's sex drive was much lower than mine - to the point where I sought out sex and he rejected it. After being in that relationship, I know I will never say no to my future SO, even if his needs surpass mine, because I know how terrible that rejection feels and how frustrating it is not to have your needs met. Though men are more "used to"…

There are other factors that come in to play, obviously, but assuming those are favourable for the two of you, I would probably be more likely to seek an LTR with you but would potentially be more attracted to him initially. Really, I'd prefer a more confident man with the goods to back it up though.

On the contrary I think RPW is very much sex centred. When women here say what they do for their man or give advice, the very first thing they'll mention is willing and enthusiastic sex. But unless sex is a problem, there's not much extended discussion to be had. "I try to sexually please my man." "Me too!" End of conversation. I mean what detail do you expect us to go into? When there IS a problem it's discussed further and people seek advice as to why they're not having (enough/as much) sex in…

Interesting, maybe it's different in my country or the specific workplaces I've been in. I've even worked for a company that considered make up a part of the uniform/appearance - it was in my contract. Though it also depends what you consider a lot of make up...this thread has definitely confirmed that very few people have the same idea of what "make up" is. Some women are bare faced, but most look like this or this
/r/RedPillWomen25/11/14 11:25 AM

How about when make up is applied for a specific purpose? For example, I don't like going to work bare-faced because it feels unprofessional. Others may disagree, but I just don't think it looks right to be dressed professionally without at least some lipstick and mascara. However, if my SO preferred I didn't wear it when I was spending time with him, I wouldn't.

Yes, I've been putting a lot of effort into my skin care recently, I think some western skin practices/beliefs are actually really horrible for your skin. Slathering make up all over your face, removing it with harsh products, then scrubbing all the resulting damaged skin off doesn't really seem the best way to go about it! All the Koreans I've met have wonderful skin...even if they have a few blemishes, there is a kind of radiant glow about them and their skin looks very soft. Unfortunately, pr…

I see, so it's a mainly a turn off when your first thought is "damn, that's a lot of make up" rather than "damn, she's attractive".
/r/RedPillWomen24/11/14 12:52 AM
1

Maybe you're right. The reason I wear it is because I have short, stubby eyelashes with no curl, and thin winged liner creates the illusion of a thick set of lashes. I'm looking at getting some (natural looking) eyelash extensions to negate that but they are expensive. I hate applying mascara so that's my main motivation there.
/r/RedPillWomen24/11/14 12:50 AM
1

Eh, I'm not too concerned. I've never had any complaints from men I'm in a relationship with. Whenever I do get comments and I press further they hurriedly say that I'm not wearing too much - but rather that I don't need it. I suppose they may be backtracking because they think they have offended me. But I don't think they're trying to tell me I look like a clown or anything.

Yeah it is hard to tell, I thought I didn't wear much make up but after reading some of the replies here I apparently slather it on! I wear BB cream, concealer, blush, bronzer, neutral eyeshadow (really just to stop the BB cream going all weird and creasy on my eyelids) eyeliner, mascara, sheer lipstick and lip balm. I'm pretty happy with my daily look, I guess I could cut out the eyeliner (admittedly I don't always have time to put it on in the morning!) but I don't think it's OTT.

Perhaps it's my face in particular, but without make up my features completely disappear. I become invisible. When I wear tasteful/well applied make up people treat me differently (men and women alike) and I notice I do the same to other women. To me, a bare (or minimal) face is on par with unkempt hair or wearing things like track pants and ugg boots. It signals lack of pride in one's appearance. When I see women in the workplace without make up they seem less professional. Though, I am obvious…

I had something similar happen with my ex. He told me he didn't care if I wore make up or not, so I asked him why. He said "Well you look great now, why would you ruin that with make up?" ...had taken an hour to get ready and was wearing a face full of meticulously applied make up.
/r/RedPillWomen23/11/14 02:08 AM

I think it's a bit of a slippery slope as well. When I first started applying make up and didn't really know what I was doing, I'd aim for a natural look and come out looking like the joker. Apply too much foundation and you get washed out so you need more eye make up...apply your eye liner badly and you need to even them out by adding more etc. I think that happens to a lot of women who look like they're wearing too much.
/r/RedPillWomen23/11/14 02:02 AM

That exactly matches my own experience! My daily make up probably most resembles the "face full o' slap" picture without the lipstick and fake eyelashes....though the pictures aren't of the best quality so perhaps it's more obvious in natural lighting. I do my make up in natural light to make sure nothing looks harsh. Might need to look at toning it down a bit after some of the comments here though. Thanks for your reply - very informative. Seems it could be a number of reasons depending on the situation (i.e. is the make up actually terrible to begin with). When I've asked men why they say this I never really get a straight response - so it's good to get one now. It's funny, because I used to get offended when men didn't change their communication style (saying something like "Are you alright? Actually, this seems a bit like the "I don't like men with muscles" thing. So many women say this, but not because they don't like men who are in great shape - it's because the word "muscular" evokes an image of a man with over the top bulging, veiny muscles and a serious case of fake tan abuse. I suppose it's still strange to me that it seems like a compliment - when someone says this part of me does get offended. Would any woman really react well to hearing she'd look better without the make u…

Er yes, don't think I'll be leaving the house looking like that any time soon! Yeah, I'm not going for a "no make up" look but I don't want it to look harsh on my face. It's funny to me that you only "notice" the eyeliner there...when that probably took over an hour to apply and uses a plethora of make up products. So I guess my fifth point stands - men don't like OTT and harsh eyeliner/colours/glitter but don't seem to "count" or "notice" anything else as makeup (when well applied).

Yes, to be honest when a guy who is interested in me says this all I hear is "I'm not good enough for you try to look your best for me". What's confusing for me is how often I get this from older men who are clearly not interested in me. For example, my co workers. They say it sincerely and as if they are really helping me out.

Is that...really possible though? All make up looks obvious to me. This girl, for example, has natural looking make up: http://www.beautygold.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/No-makeup-look-3.jpg But it's still very obvious to me that she is wearing it. Okay back on board I see your point. Though I agree with the issues you pointed out I'm leaning towards disagreeing with the takeaway message. At first I saw your point but you're losing me now. The fact is I wouldn't have thought twice about this pre-RP, but discovering it has made me question a lot of my actions. I was simply worried that putting myself in a position where a guy was likely seeking a ONS was a bad idea. Got some great advice which has put my mind to rest, and I now no longer question my original decision - which was that there was no harm in going but I needed to remain wary.

I probably should have added some more detail to explain my reservations, but either way I've decided to take the advice here and go. My ex (we broke up about 3 months ago, so I've had some time to move on, but it's still relatively fresh) displayed some similar behaviour - but no where near as well executed, and we had a host of related issues come up. But I suppose I should treat that as a learning experience rather than using it to judge men I barely know. So, I'll go and keep my wits about m…

It seemed to me like he was gay but using women in some kind of power play was kind of a kink. Zoe says at some point that she doesn't get anything out of their sexual relationship and that he certainly didn't.

Profile: The most important thing is your photos. Your display picture should be a close up of your face. Statistically men respond best when you're making a "flirty face" (interpret that how you will, I went for the next option) but also respond well to smiling. You're on here so probably don't need to tell you to keep your cleavage out of it. Your other pictures should show your body in a tasteful way; men view your other pictures pretty much to check if you're fat. I'd suggest you upload 4-5 …

To be honest most men won't read it at all. In my experience men are only interested in the photos (checking you're not fat) and basic details like age.

You need to draw a distinction between "muscled men" as a group and "an appealing muscled man who is interested in me". Muscled men are intimidating. If you express interest in her, she's caught the attention of an intimidating man - which she loves. If you don't express interest you're just a man she feels uncomfortable or self-conscious around. Women often say men are intimidated by their success/height/whatever, but I think it's women who are intimidated by this in men.

I actually found his post pretty informative and thought provoking. He mentioned something like "there's nothing more beta than whining on the internet about women." (I paraphrase loosely). I think this is an example of how people (though especially women) have such disdain and zero empathy for men who show weakness and seek help. With that comment he's not saying he has a problem with men who are typically alpha, but with beta men who are pretending to be alpha. He's saying he has a problem wit…

There's no logic in "baby rabies" so practicalities such as cost and convenience pretty much fly out the window. I suppose you could say it's closest to a random yet intense food craving. It's something you want, but for some strange reason it feels like a need. And it's possible to repress it to some extent, but it kind of just continues to simmer below the surface.

That is a full on day! Anyone would be exhausted after that so it's understandable. You've experienced two extremes here - zero responsibilities on vacation and ten hour days where he barely has time to breathe. I suppose it's up to you now to decide if you can live with that, I think it's wise to wait a little as you said and really see how you feel.

Things may be better on vacation, but is that realistic for the future? Is his working six days a week temporary or a more permanent thing? And why does he seemingly have very little time to spend with you? Not sure if I missed something in your post but it seems strange.

I went through a pretty similar situation, you can check my post history if you like, I had some good replies. I know how much it hurts to be rejected. Because in a relationship, sex isn't just about a quick release. It's about showing your love for each other and sharing the ultimate intimate moment. It doesn't feel like he's rejecting a chance to get off, it feels like he's rejecting you as a person. A lot of subscribers here told me to end my relationship and I...ignored them for a time. It's…

Wow, very interesting. I'd never recognised the connection before between the "beta" male's strategy and how he acts once he's secured a relationship. It makes perfect sense now! Men who use this strategy undoubtedly end up getting their ear chewed off with "he's such an asshole!", "he doesn't care about my feelings!" Etc. so when they break up and he gets his chance he naturally does the opposite, to avoid her resorting to another beta...betas he knows are willing to lie in wait before they pou…

I think the movie is a little different. In the movie she outright states that she became someone else in order to get/keep him, and so she expected him to do the same. So when he slacked off she saw no reason to keep up the charade and also decided to exact her revenge.

I couldn't disagree with you more. I don't think the main female is presented as a special, delicate snowflake at all. I was intrigued by the movie and read a few interviews with the author of the book afterwards. The author responds to criticism from feminists saying (and I paraphrase loosely) that she was sick of seeing women as the victim. All of the women in this movie are presented as stronger, smarter, more cunning and more prideful than men. When that couple steals her money the woman is …

Perhaps, but I seem to notice a lot of movies in particular with the theme of "father not there for his kids because he works too much". This is problematic and it disregards the father's efforts to provide for his family, but I don't think it says the father is unnecessary altogether.

It's a roundabout way of getting you to think about sex with her without dealing with rejection/seeming like a straight-up slut. Women have more subtle ways of communicating, so to her this practically screams I'm DTF without coming on too strong. Women will not bring up anything to do with sex to a man unless they're considering sleeping with him. As others have said, agree and amplify etc.

Relax! Men are practical creatures and know when it's appropriate for you to be bare faced. It can be daunting, but he won't think anything of it. He'll see you without it eventually and he's seen women without it in the past. As long as you make yourself up when it's appropriate he will notice the effort you make in your appearance. That being said, you can still take steps to ensure you don't go full slob. Dress nicely (wear nice PJs etc) and put your hair up or braid it or something like that…

This is just my opinion, but I can't get enough of a tatted-up muscly guy. There's something deep and primal within me that is just incredibly drawn to masculine men. As women are more emotional I think a lot of the attraction women experience is to do with how it makes them feel, rather than simply admiring things aesthetically. For example, a man with a lot of muscles is strong and can protect me and the family, and can also work to provide for us. He will pass on good genes and be a good role…

Haha yes I see what you mean, but unfortunately everything he gives me just leaves me wanting more. I don't hate the sex, I want more of it. The slightest touch is all I need to be ready to go, even after the rejection and how it makes me feel. If he suddenly changed and we had sex more often and for longer I'd be pretty damn happy with that. But I guess it's just not realistic, I've come to realise the reason is irrelevant: we don't work sexually and it's probably time to move on.

Whenever I've had orbiters it's of their own free will, and they're actually pretty difficult to get rid of. I assume they orbit multiple women at a time in hopes they'll get lucky. I'll admit I put far less effort into the friendship...But I never lead them on or let them pay for anything etc.

Definitely see your point about the flags. But I was more referring to the linked post, which gave the impression that past relationships with females (rather than threesomes or hook ups etc.) means I should expect any boyfriend/husband I have in the future to feel entitled to all the threesomes they want, rendering me unable to have a happily monogamous relationship with a man.

I hadn't considered that, but he knew that from the beginning and it's something he continually brought up (though he didn't reference a threesome outright, that may have been is intention). We haven't had a threesome, because I am horrified by the idea. He seemed to eventually pick up that the topic agitated me and has stopped now. You're right, but I still think men can compensate for looks in other ways (money, status etc.) more easily than women. Tinder doesn't really allow for that, as judgement is (at first at least) pretty much 100% based on looks.

/r/TheRedPill20/04/14 11:55 PM

Don't necessarily disagree, but I think tinder creates an unnatural situation where women are exposed to many men in a short time frame with only looks to judge. Women don't prioritise appearance like men, and so it's unsurprising that so few men make the cut based solely on appearance. Women will always go for the best available to them/in their sights. My SO said he didn't have much luck online but every day I see 95% of the women he engages with visibly go weak at the knees.

From my understanding there's a huge difference between it being easy for HIM to get you into bed as opposed to it being easy for EVERYONE to get you into bed. So basically you need to show you have standards and respect for yourself, and that you don't sleep around with just anyone. I did this unknowingly when I met my SO, and we slept together on the second date.

I don't give out false compliments voluntarily, but if someone asks for my opinion, depending on the situation, I may tell a white lie. If you don't know the person well it can be rude, and you don't know how they will react. Yes fairly recently had a friend question me as to whether she should go home with this guy she just met. She wasn't sure because her "last three sexual encounters weren't consensual, she was raped". I could barely hold in a laugh - Jesus at least make your fake rape stories realistic. We argued a bit, and it soon came to light that these were simply experiences that made her feel "dirty" afterwards.

Women get more acceptance, validation and warm fuzzies from other women when they bash their men rather than bragging. An "us" versus "them" mentality is automatically adopted rather than focusing on individuals/relationships. I've seen some serious bonding happen between women at the expense of the men in their lives, and nary a woman in sight is judged. On this scale imagine how many women are going "you know what? You go girl!" Etc.

I agree with you, though I think it's a little of column a and a little of column b. We want to attract and maintain a relationship with a particular type of man, and embracing a feminine role is a means to do that. Without this, we would not have the man we want, and therefore would not have the relationship we want. But it's also important to realise that when you are true to yourself and you meet someone you truly love, these things come naturally. To have the "tit for tat" mentality just doe…

I read this general idea somewhere and it makes sense to me. Women (generally) don't eliminate competition by fighting physically because they risk damaging their most useful tool to seek out high quality men; their looks. Therefore, they need to get creative. The most common way is to somehow lower the desirability of the competition through gossip, rumours, etc. thus "increasing" their own desirability. I think it's more like men and women can't be "close" friends. There's really no reason for a man to spend his time/resources on a woman other than to (at least eventually) sleep with her. Even with the best intentions women just aren't wired to dedicate huge amounts of time and resources to others; especially men. It's not equal and resentment develops. That's true. I can imagine it would be frustrating, especially as he's very active and keen to work. He doesn't have a lot of income in the meantime, either, and I know how stressful it can be to stretch what little you have over rent, bills etc

Not sure what information I'm missing there...other than the time frame, which is probably the last two months or so. I haven't taken any steps to correct the problem yet...other than trying to keep myself feminine and hope for the best really. I'm not sure whether/how to bring it up with him.

Definitely not low T! He's very built. It's quite possible he's getting some on the side...he's very sexual and has a long sexual history.

Maybe you're right...I was kind of also wondering if the opposite was true though. I'm very busy with work and he doesn't like to go out much and I do (I'm 22, he's 31 and over it) so I see him about three times a week including our workouts. Tonight was the second time I've initiated sex with him since we met...of course I have subtly encouraged him with body language etc though. He's working casually at the moment, waiting for his application to process for a full time job (it has been a lengt…

I read somewhere that women speaking poorly of their boyfriend/husband to other women is an attempt to reduce the competition by making him seem less desirable to them. So I guess following this line of thinking, writing something unflattering about your partner then tacking "but I still tolerate you" on the end and posting this publicly could potentially be an attempt to eliminate the competition from both sides - he seems less attractive to women, he feels poorer quality and therefore like he'…

I guess the problem with RP is that, while there are some main ideas that everyone seems to more or less agree on, there isn't much unity of ideas. Each person has their own experiences and agendas. I don't think ALL RP men believe all "women are just empty vessels for alpha dick". It doesn't bother me. Most of these things actually hold a lot of truth for most women. Remember, just by being here we are the exception rather than the rule. Men have a deep-seated instinct to help and protect women…

Hm good point about the travel. Better to keep it limited to things that you can offer him. Of course I made this profile before I discovered RP!

I was online dating recently and probably got a little too much attention with my profile. Not all of them were RP of course but quite a few. Each one said pretty much the same things as to why they liked my profile: not long-winded, didn't have a huge list of "conditions", didn't have a whole bunch of pics of me slutting it up, looked friendly. Don't have a huge long paragraph. The idea is to chat more and learn about each other anyway. I simply had: "Hi, my name is ___ and I'm here to meet som…

Thankfully it's resolved now, I kind of feel a little silly for not just talking it out with him at the time, but I suppose I was so taken aback/shocked I just ran away with my emotions. I was unfortunately a little tipsy when I bought it up. I ended up telling him point blank that the fact he'd been with so many women bothered me, and bothered me so much that it was making me doubt everything about our relationship. He just nodded, very matter of fact, and asked me what I wasn't sure about. We …

Agreed. Was watching Red 2 just before, including the scene where the lead woman slaps the shit out of him for meeting his ex-whatever. Couldn't help thinking "yeah, okay, and how about we see a scene where he does the same to her?". Sure that would be met with the same amount of lols.

Female here, dated a couple of guys with a large number of sexual partners. The first had a huge string of one night stands - was a huge turn on. Second had a huge number of committed romantic partners - not so much. Like others have said promiscuity won't hurt your game - quite the opposite. Just don't throw around your resources (doesn't sound like you are) and you'll reap the rewards.

Yeah perhaps his wording mislead me a little, and maybe he was covering his tracks (I'm not especially easy to read but I had a bad reaction and couldn't hide it). I kind of assumed they weren't "serious" relationships but he definitely wanted to give the impression that he cared for each of them and at least spent time/effort on them. That is why when he tells me he loves me - all I can wonder is, how many women has he said that to? 20? 50? How many women has he called the "perfect" girl for hi…

I was watching a video recently by girlwriteswhat where she basically outlined that traditional marriage was a transaction of sorts. Men "sold" their resources/commitment and women "sold" their sexuality. If we follow this, it's not really in a woman's interest to be promiscuous. Think of anything you buy - would you like the idea of multiple people using it, considering you're "paying good money"? Not really, I'm guessing. Especially if it's casual sex; i.e. for free. The same applies to men ca…

Very interesting, thank you for your answer. I wondered why it bothered me more that he had dated them all rather than just having a huge string of one night stands. He's gone around throwing his resources at practically any girl that flutters her eyelashes at him, and that bothers me. I've lost respect for him and I can't deny it. I've decided to stay with him but keep my head a little more. I really viewed this as the beginning of a long term relationship but I need to change my mindset. Possi…

His longest relationship was 5 years, and he had a couple of other "long term" relationships - that being said I don't know what his definition of long term is. He said there was a time when he would go through about a girl every two or three weeks. It was definitely the fact that he dated them all that freaked me out the most. That's why it feels "less special". All the time, attention and thought he spends on me have easily been spent on countless others before me.
