Thanks that’s really helpful advice . He’s always been this way. I married him because I was 18 scared and pregnant and felt like I had no option as I couldn’t live with my parents. I also genuinely wanted to be with him and give myself to him fully in marriage but had no clue about what I actually needed and wanted in a relationship to be happy in life . I tried to make the best of it and thought I wasn’t good enough for the longest time and thought if I was good enough in this way or that way …

Thanks for the reply - I’m a bit lost if you can help me out and tell me what would the opposite equal look like , qualities etc?

Good for you. Go get what you want!! Only tip I can offer is don’t let fear hold you back. Go for it. Be the life and soul. Men love happy women. Fake it if necessary. Never be ashamed of what you want and the more people know what you want, you never know they might have a friend they could set you up with.

Ah I was hoping a Dad would respond! We don’t have anyone that can look after them all but we can escape with baby on a date while eldest two hold the fort for a couple of hours and we do that fortnightly. I have had a bit of a gruelling week alone with them so was thinking of some time for me to recuperate while he gets a jolt back to reality with them all for a couple of hours. I could ask him? Something like - “I’ve been wanting to go to this months ladies group but also have missed you and w…

I will have a re listen to the audio book this week before he returns . I don’t know why I can’t retain the information . It’s like I need to listen to it every 6 months! She makes it sound so easy . Me time is almost laughable with our life at the moment but I promise I will try! Recharge and relaxing def makes me softer

Thank you so much for your lovely reply! I will listen to the Laura Doyle download the empowered wife to revise before he comes back! I have never heard of atomic habits will look it up for sure! That’s so interesting re your work situation and amazing you were perceptive enough to know your husband needed those demonstrations of deference. I think all men do. I’ve noticed even the most confident secure men will relish these moments from women. If you have time could you offer me some suggestion…

I have felt this way so much and totally sympathise . I think porn is an absolute scourge on relationships and the world. To think there was a time your man would come home to you and (yes maybe seen beautiful women at work/ public) not have ever seen naked women having sex in all sorts of ways in HD. I think all of our minds are warped because of it in so many ways BUT I think what another commenter said about tapping into your needs and your desires is the key! Truly being in your feminine is …

Nothing to add apart from that it could be worse . He could be poor. Seriously. I’m the housewife with the 6 kids at home with the hub minus the 200k lol. Driving around collecting free/ out of date food to try and keep the kids fed while getting verbal abuse and a pitiful salary from him. You say you have an otherwise good life . Maybe letting it slide is a small price to pay. Really hope he stops throwing the fact you don’t contribute in your face , that’s awful.

I really thought that the more sweet and soft I was that my husband would like me more but actually we have met women before that I thought my husband would find impressive and he actually said they are too wet for him. He likes that I am not totally helpless in every situation and said that that as long as I defer to him/ Let him lead/ be submissive to him he is happy. It was a relief because at the end of the day I am not a quiet character and would struggle to pretend I have a different perso…

I appreciate your comment. I definitely have a tendency to go over the top and the timing of the visit was even more pressure as we have a lot of Easter things going on with the kids anyway. I think he would be good at helping me tone down my extra ness in future. The two things I asked was for him to keep the house close to how I had left it ( I was going for 6 hours) and feed the guests one low key meal (oven pizza or a takeaway) not too late so the kitchen was free for me when I get back. The…

Your comment about feeling better in a day or two is so helpful! Just knowing that is great. Next time I Might follow up a request with a “is that too much for you to take on, let me know I don’t mind “

There is a pattern of breaking promises over the years so I think I feel it as a betrayal really deeply rather than something I can quickly get over. As his family were around it made it quite tense when I mentioned I was disappointed things weren’t done. In the moment he was actually quite rude to me. A few days after he has apologised. That’s really good advice and will help me turn my day around - thank you 💕

You sound like a lovely person. I know it seems like the end of the world but you are so young and actually I’m sure many women wish they hadn’t had relationships before the age of 18. Let go of the past and start now. Start practising polarity. Even with male family members and friends you can practice speaking and behaving in a feminine way that means they will respond to you differently. Then when you feel braver you can practice with men you have romantic feelings towards. When you start see…

My good friend was a single mother at 19 married an amazing guy at 21 had five children with him, became a widow and is on course to marry another HVM after having various options. She’s the most feminine friend I have.

I find the “how do I feel?” “what do I want?” Way of communicating with husband helps in this scenario, for example : I am feeling really tired today I would love it if you could help me with the groceries / be extra cuddly/ bring me a hot chocolate. If I say things this way to my 3 year old son he springs into action lol . It ignites something in the male brain I think 🤔

“They’ve all left me behind” Wrong attitude! Remove yourself from the competition you have already won. Sounds like your husband adores you.

I recommend finding a Traditional Latin mass community. FSSP church or SSPX church is full with other young wives.

On your death bed, looking back over your life, which will you regret not devoting your 30s to more?

Main thing - make him feel like a king and he ain't going anywhere! Not sure if this is allowed but I suggest a Catholic man. I'm not saying they are perfect but if you can find one with a strong faith they have a strong understanding of the sacrament of marriage. Mainly death do us part, adultery (even in thought) being a sin, and marriage being for the procreation of children and getting each other to heaven. None of that includes trading in for a younger model. I am not saying other men are n…

I did not mention bettering yourself. It is about acquiring the man you want and being cherished loved, adored and looked after. You deserve it!

I think after everything you have been through you have done bloody well to desire a RP marriage! I don't think many posters have been very fair to you. No one knows that you might have had years of therapy with therapists telling you to acknowledge what happened rather than try to block it out as a way of moving forward. People can be so unkind. Honestly from your post I think you have a great chance to find a HVM and by learning more about femininity and following RPW you will work out the ifs…

I am overweight and married my husband while I was overweight and have lived 12 years of marriage with him wanting me to lose weight and me never feeling good enough. It is actually a terrible dynamic and I think can cause depression which actually stunts your motivation and weight loss. At the time I thought it will be fine I will lose weight and be good enough for him but it has been soul destroying to be honest . It is better you stay single and confident in your looks and working on how YOU …

A lot of the comments about it being abusive behaviour .. I am not so sure. I have known lots of men like this in my life. Family, friends and actually my hub! After 12 years of marriage and his regular stress temper and outbursts the best thing I can do is remove myself and go and do my own thing . Whether it is going to get nails done or for a coffee out with a book. Remain aloof until he comes to you later. You can remain aloof in the house . In the bath, door locked. Reading, resting , in th…

You sound amazing! You mention you pray the rosary . You are already leagues ahead of other men if you are doing this daily. Try doing the full 15 decades if you can and remember the promises attached to it : Those who faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary shall receive signal graces. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary. The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell. It will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat here…

I am not just saying this but although you feel you have lost time, 29 is really young still. Especially to have found RPW. I have a friend who is 39, widowed with 5 children and is looking to remarry not just anyone but a great HVM who can be stepdad to her kids. She has SO many men chasing her its quite funny to observe , young to old she can have her pick. These are things she does that might help you : Sami Wunder facebook page 'Wunder Divas' loads of success stories following her tips. Godd…
/r/RedPillWomen17/05/22 07:05 AM

This could be a massive blessing in disguise! You could attract a better HVM within months if you wanted to. Your family sound happy to let you settle for less. You can't really be shocked if he cheats again and it will be so hard once your married with kids. Tell people the wedding date has changed if you aren't sure what to do yet.

I would say once your sleeping with someone and living together thats already a scenario that a baby could be conceived out of wedlock trapping or not. I would give it some time and see if you are finding it uncomfortable in the friendship by not saying something. Good friends usually really appreciate honesty and if shes a bit RPW like you mentioned she should take it well. I am outspoken with most of my friends and they usually appreciate it albeit a month or two down the line

To be honest its about at which point she went against your values. For me if someone is cohabiting / sleeping together thats already playing with fire and not traditional. Pregnancy is always something quite likely to happen in that situation (contraception or not) but people behave as if its such a shock when they end up expecting a baby after doing the act which creates a baby. I am not saying the whole trapping him into pregnancy thing is right by a long shot but as a society men and women h…

Bless you, I have been there. Every doctor I have seen in the last ten years has given me terrible terrible advice . At times i have gone directly against their recommendations/ opposite their advice and had HUGE success! Mainly in the area of childbirth and having children. I have had 7 pregnancies. The docs I have seen genuinely spend 90% the time fear mongering / covering their arses. Do your own research and never take their word for it. P.s I know a woman who has had 13 c- sections. They of…

Most friends i know who are doctors or training to be really regret it later down the line especially my female friends . They say it is a nightmare having a family and husband on top of that type of career. Your career sounds really important to you and If your boyfriend is making comments now, they will just get worse and resentment will build.

Well done for the weight loss ! Thats inspiring.. it is a shame for his comments but maybe he felt a little threatened by how well you got in shape! Sometimes husbands can be nasty because they feel inadequate themselves about a multitude of things.. I hope you are happy with your fitness success.

Thanks so much for this fresh perspective. Also, for acknowledging that I have ' given SO much' it is nice to hear as it is so easy to be hard on myself. I want to rest so much! Thank you for saying this. Only when I am rested do I progress in other areas.

I loved your comment and will keep coming back to it to add something each week. I managed to start Intermittent fasting today and i went for a walk( which is huge for me as i have pain even moving around the house) I hope these two things will be happening daily and will encorporate the above you mentioned incrementally too. Thank you

Thank you for these links , your comment really helped. I started IF today and am only eating in a four hour window . I also did a fast walk around the park while the kids played. Huge step for me but small enough i can sustain it each day while i work out purchasing healthier food .

i really appreciate your comment because its true. I have lost weight before but when this big it takes about 50lbs down to feel a difference. Are you a twin mum? I am and am still BF mine so i think this has meant alot of sitting around which has not helped!

The surrendered wife Laura Doyle podcasts are great for this situation and have really helped me in getting what I want while still being a trad wife. Wording things in a way like ” I would love it if we had a week free of friend commitments Or “it would make me so happy if we didn’t have to go to so and so’s this week“ can produce great results . Men Love making their woman happy. Negative Comments translate to them that they are failing. I have had great results by starting sentences like this…
