Another perspective: improve, taking motivation from him, but improve for you. We men are pretty bad at expressing feelings, it might be that he is also tired and doesn't have as high libido as before, and he shifts it to you. I hope it's not the case but imagine going through all these sacrifices and him saying "oh, I still don't feel attracted to you".
Work on your self-esteem. You are a better person that you were when he married you; you have gone through motherhood, experiences ... you have given SO much! As a husband, I'm disappointed that you know he is not attracted to you (I am really really hoping he didn't say it!!!), one of our main jobs is to build and feed our wives emotionally, to sustain them as they go through motherhood, through changes ... through life. Would you stop loving him if he gained weight? I hope he knows you are in this together. As I see it, if you don't find the time to rest for ALL the bad nights, ALL the home ed, he is NOT providing all. I don't mean to sound negative against him, I'm sure he works hard in his job and business, what I'm trying to say is that he also shares responsibility in all that's going on, and it's clear to me that you are doing lots of things and sacrificing yourself. You are doing lots, recognize that. Recognize that we all go through ups and downs and physical changes, and that doesn't change how we are as persons.
Work on your health. I won't say much about this, but you need to be rested.
I hope you both can align. It's hard to see, but life with children changes you. It might mean a cheaper house and sacrificing his business to be able to get home worry-free. There are many sacrifices he could do other than working full-time + business.
I don't take away of you trying to improve. Please do. I just think it would be much more beneficial if you both work together on this.

A good nighttime routine. Are your children bouncing off the walls and asking to watch tv at 11pm? Or are they in bed with their teeth brushed and all clean by 9pm? A poor nighttime routine will cause stress, fatigue, and a cranky mama. Poor sleep is a bad way to set the tone for the rest of day. You need a consistent nighttime routine and to get your beauty sleep. You need to wake up feeling energized in the morning and ready to take on the day. This is so important for your long term well-being.
Exercise and diet. If you want to lose weight I recommend drinking a lot of water. This is also great for your skin. I recommend eating smaller portions of food frequently throughout the day. Another recommendation is to eat more fruits and vegetables and to eat less carbs and meat. Follow this and you will lose weight overtime. Reward yourself here and there. Doing cardio like jogging will melt off body fat. If you set aside 30 minutes a day to jog then you’ll see results like that. The right exercises and diet will boost your self esteem and give you confidence. Try out different exercises and nutritional diets. See what works for you and makes you feel like a sexy mama.
Take good care of yourself. Ask hubby for a massage now and then. It can help alleviate your back pain, leg pain, and hip pain. Or schedule a massage at the spa every week or month. A chiropractor or physical therapy can alleviate your pain. Stand up/sit up straight and have good posture. The prettiest makeup a girl can wear is a smile!!!!! You can always go to the hair salon, nail salon, wear nice clothes, put on perfume, and put on beautiful makeup to make you feel more beautiful than you already are. It really is all about how it makes you feel at the end of the day.
REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE! Your husband definitely finds you attractive. He married you out of all women on this earth. You two created 8 children because he finds you sexy. Don’t put yourself down! Use your words to build yourself up. Look in the mirror when you wake up or when you go to bed and say things like “I am beautiful. I am confident. I am healthy. I am smart. I am kind.” to build yourself up!!!!! You will eventually believe it and your body will naturally act this way and other people will treat you this way.
