Yeah same for me on the rejection. That constant feeling of being unwanted or undesired is a tough pill to swallow.

Yeah we didn't have kids. I did communicate countless times that I wanted more sex, more physical intimacy. She would respond in ways that were basically "sex isnt the most important thing in a relationship" or "i need this from you in order to do that". I would try meeting her needs and doing all that I could, different approaches and nothing ever changed. No matter what phase of the relationship we were and how happy we were it never mattered. We had sex one time on our 9 day tropical honeymoo…

I naively thought that it would get better with time. It was a red flag and I ignored it...

Exactly my thoughts too and I even told her that. I called her recently to make sure she wanted to go through with the finality of the divorce and selling of the house and she said yes. The first few months especially, your soul just gets dragged over the coals over and over. I cried every day sometimes multiple times. I still cry here and there. It's important to let all of that out and feel those emotions. Then one day, for me it was at 3 or so months into it, I feel like I turned a page. I stopped trying to make sense of everythi…

I agree with all of this. I know I need to cut it off, I don't need to be punishing myself looking at her profile. Like I responded to another comment, I think I am resistant because it's another thing to accept that it's really happening and really over. Another nail in the coffin.

I know that's what I need to do. I think I am resistant because it's another thing to accept that it's really happening and really over. Another nail in the coffin.
