Social mediaI also think this had an influence on the end of my marriage as well as some of the subreddits like breakingmom (they use the phrase "married single mom" there)etc. We obviously were not in a good place already but her use of tiktok coincided with her accusing me of gaslighting, emotional abuse, and attempting to diagnose me with all sorts of mental and mood disorders. Overall I felt like I was no longer arguing with the person I married but some militant feminist from twitter. When we had any d… | /r/Divorce_Men | 06/09/24 05:04 AM
ED?Sorry I don't have any advice for you only questions. You mentioned Lexapro. Do you think that has something to do with it? I was recently prescribed it but have yet to start taking it. Kinda fearful of the side effects to be honest. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/07/24 02:49 PM
Guilt/Shame-Really SteugglingI don't mean this harshly man but no one is going to come save you, especially not your ex. Even if you have friends/family in your life, no one is going to be able to help you if can't help yourself. Easier said then done but you have to get out of the thinking of "how could this woman let me destroy myself" and reframe this person as "this person is trying to destroy you. Why let them?" | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/06/24 07:17 PM
Arguing/Bickering How will this affect custody decision?Damn man. I'm sorry. This is what I am afraid of. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/06/24 11:27 PM
Arguing/Bickering How will this affect custody decision?I pretty much already do this but sometimes I have to respond to her messages when it comes to a requested schedule change or fighting over something that is mine that is in the home which results in me having to assert myself. I am certainly not picking arguments or going out of my way to communicate with her. I did have to communicate with her extensively in order to get 50% of the time with my kids, that in itself was full of conflict. I feel like the only way to avoid conflict with her is to… | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/06/24 02:29 PM
Is there really an outIs she a stay at home mom? If so, I feel like she deserves a break too. That shit is not easy and spousal resentment can hit hard. I was a stay at home dad the first two years of my kid's life and my ex thought that I had the easy role because she was working full time. The reality: it was difficult for both of us. My suggestion to you is to get some outside help if you aren't able to make it work between you. i.e. a nanny or daycare if you can afford it. It might take some of the pressure off. … | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/05/24 12:58 PM
Moving back inHonestly, this is her primary mode of operating. I'm a little worried how I will be able to stay cool for the duration. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/24 03:44 PM
Moving back inYes I know it was a bad idea but like I said I was trying to save my marriage as foolish as it sounds. I am no longer in the denial stage so commonly found over at r/Separation | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/24 03:42 PM
Moving back inI currently have the kids 50% of the time including overnights. I guess my concern is that she will say my living arrangements are not stable or that I am creating instability for the children and that this could look bad in the eyes of a judge. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/24 03:41 PM
Moving back inI am currently with my children 50% of the time including overnights, even that I had to fight for. I have been careful to make sure the status quo since the separation has been 50/50 (like it was prior). I guess my concern is that she will say my living arrangements are not stable or that I am creating instability for the children and that this could look bad in the eyes of a judge. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/05/24 03:39 PM
