So like an idiot I moved out of the house last December. At the time my stbx "needed space" and I was still holding onto hope for reconciliation so I was willing to do whatever it took to save the marriage, including moving out temporarily. Believe you me I knew there was a good chance this was just an attempt to get me out of the house easily and sure enough it was. Now that we are for sure getting divorced should I really move back into the house? My lawyer has told me this is what I should do but I am frankly concerned this could hurt my chances for 50/50 custody (I have 2 children ages 2 & 5). Although I don't necessarily want to lose the house, custody is my absolute priority. My stbx is trying to get primary physical custody. Does anyone have any experience with this?
