If you want to be technical, sure. But I'm making distinction on aesthetic appeal and frame. Someone with fat rolls has more body fat % than someone without. Especially when most of the body fat in men concentrates in their abdomen. A taller person can naturally "carry" more body fat than a shorter person without gaining fat rolls (love handles).

My username is literally from childhood. WW1 video games were popular. My dog was named Panzer (he was a German shepherd) and I liked tanks. So yeah that's what I came up with. I wasn't the most creative at 14 I guess.

Looks are in totally different tier though. Both men and women care about looks since they inform actual attraction , so trying to negotiate with traits that don’t have a similar impact on attraction mostly doesn’t work, or ends badly The type of person that wants to be a housewife, cares more about a man's wallet than his looks. But outside of church, modern culture has all but killed the SAHM archetype (I personally think thanks to feminism's influence but let's not go there). Look at all thos…

I never learned how to cold approach in real life. Wasn't a bar-goer in my 20s and still don't really do that now. I've only used online dating. How do I do it in real life?

Lol apparently you only read the headline. I never said I wanted a supermodel. I just wanted a girl I'm attracted to. For me that's 5s and above, not overweight, whom take care of their health (including dental and mental). Literally just the basics.

Under your logic: I guess when I lose the weight I should demand she have lots of money then if she wants to date me? Dating isn't a 1:1 comparison of standards. I think of it more like a stats sheet in an RPG. You go high on one stat you might be low on another. Oftentimes real life is actually that way too. People who spend all their energy on their careers end up being terrible parents, people who put all their energy into being the best parents are less successful in their careers: the gym r…

sounds like a lot of calorie heavy stuff to me, like lots of butter, cheese, plus you are apparently making large portions to get to 800 calories for a single serving. Yes, but keep in mind I'm doing keto here. Calorie for calorie fat is more filling than carbs. Carbs might take up more volume but the pass through your system so much faster than fat, and you become hungry quicker. This is well known science. The amount of butter and cheese are necessary because: plain riced cauliflower: even mas…

You can learn to cook healthy food all by yourself, I did. Yep. My problem now is less the healthiness of the food, but the number of calories. My go-to healthy meal would be salmon steak (8-12oz) with mashed cauliflower (cheddar cheese, butter, riced cauliflower, mashed...resembles and tastes like mashed potatoes but low carb), and steamed asparagus (with butter). I have that for supper about twice a week. But the whole portion I grab ends up being 800 or so calories (mostly in the mashed cauli…

I was in a similar situation as you, and if you can get rid of the excess weight and get fit, then by all means do it. It will significantly raise your attractiveness. How did it work out for you before and after losing the weight? I could use some inspiration. Be detailed and specific if you can.

I’m a fit woman and my across the room type is bigger guys. I have a masters and teach at a university. If you are in Seattle, DM me. I didn't intend to write this post to get dates...but if it happens I'm not going to go against the current.

Do you express yourself like this? Because the issue might not be your high standards but your uncomfortable self expression. I don't. What you see on Reddit is not how I act in real life. And often if I find someone I like I may find one of these checkboxes less important or dismiss it entirely. Preferences are a guide for planning. But real life changes planning. Understand that. I'm not shallow. I am merely saying I don't find most overweight women attractive. I can't force myself to be attra…

I don't have a me me me attitude. That's probably the reddit effect you're seeing. Honestly you probably live in a shitty area for dating. Having a me me me attitude doesn’t help either but you seem smart enough and introspective enough to shake it off. Yes Seattle is notoriously bad for dating.

The median household income in Seattle-Bellevue-Tacoma metropolitan area is around $100,000. You can do the math from there.

A lot of people on Reddit will state things in USD by default to avoid confusion. USD is the exchange currency many countries use to do international trade. Many scientific studies default to being in USD even if studying another country. So yes I ask that question. 270k CAD is 214,933.50 USD so that makes a little more sense now. Still though I'm willing to bet there's some fat to trim in your budget. You should be putting at least 10% post-tax income into retirement. Maybe a little less in Can…

Where are you living? I'm in Seattle and my mortgage isn't even that high. That's living above your means in my opinion. I technically could afford a house that is up to 1.5 million, but I would be house poor. I right now have 3 bedroom townhouse that I pay $3,200/mo for. That's with $148/mo PMI. The townhouse was $715k when I bought it last year (2.8% interest rate), and I put 5% down. Still where are the rest of your expenses going? I'm not so overweight that I have fat rolls: again only 40 lbs overweight on a 6'2" frame: it distributes better. And my face is actually pretty attractive. I'm on a keto diet, and I'm not shitting you: my face is actually quite handsome when I'm on keto: like 7 or 8 ( on keto you lose fat and water in your face and it better defines your jawline), off keto my face is a 5 or so. Just FYI my husband makes $200K a year, I make $70K. We have three teens and still go into overdraft every month. I'd like to know more. What are your expenses? This shouldn't be. Exactly how are you going to fund children on 50% of your income? Are you going to give up on retiring early? Obviously if I had a kid my retirement goals would change and I would probably work longer.

And your attitude about women’s education choices is a huge turnoff. Perhaps. But hearing people's raw truth about their preferences is hardly an easy pill to swallow. I prefer to state my opinion rather than coloring it for others. Obviously if I was trying to court you however you probably would never know the raw truth about all my dating preferences, nor would I know yours. You’re 34, how did you let it get to that to begin with, and how come you didn’t try to change sooner? This is more per…

That's a balanced and realistic perspective. Thanks. Yes, I've contemplated rather I would be happy single forever, and you know what? It isn't that bad. Sex I can get through escorts if need be. And friendship doesn't care about looks anyways. I might want to have kids someday but it isn't necessarily a bad life if I don't. I figure I'll do this: if I can't find the girl for me by the time I'm 40 I'll lower my standards incrementally. But only within reason. I'd rather be single forever than da…

If I had no job or made like $20 an hour, but expected a man to have a career and be a professional I’d be in the wrong in my opinion. Most men don't care what a girl makes. They care more about how attractive she is physically. There's lawyers that ask out McDonald's workers for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/22 04:23 PM

I like your perspective. And I'm the same. I have a lifestyle that's more in line with someone earning a third of what I do. I save roughly 50% of my post-tax income, as my goal is to retire early in 10 years. The point about money is I could be a decent provider for a SAHM. So if I'm going to provide the income, less emphasis should be on my looks. After all if I'm going to have good looks and good income I'd look for someone of way higher caliber in looks and personality. I'm looking at averag…

Even in that "league" majority of overweight women I've met haven't done shit with their lives. They have nothing I desire. I haven't met an overweight girl who's a successful scientist or doctor for example. Scenario 1 both the woman never agrees to have sex with the man abdicating responsibility and if she did, there's no proof. Red herring. In scenario 2 the man never agreed to Parenthood. You seem to imply that parenthood is a foregone conclusion of the circumstances. It isn't. Abortion (a pill) is a choice, not abortion is also a choice. You could very well agree to these circumstances (to get an abortion) before having sex and she could then change her mind. I would also advocate that if the ma…

Why don't you go to school and literally take a "critical thinking 101" class? Seriously it will do you a lot of good to actually be able to tell non arguments from well crafted logic. You don't have an argument. So you attempt to throw random insults or red herrings at me to try and distract from your lack of a sound argument. Not gonna work. Come back to me with a real argument or admit defeat.

You didn't answer the question as asked, or even at all. I asked how the two situations are different. You don't get to insert arbitrary extra hypotheticals. That wasn't the situation as presented. Answer the question or admit you don't have an argument. Anytime someone can't answer the question as asked, I consider the rest of what they have to say pointless.

My parents taught me shit honey. I learn from going to college, taking philosophy courses, critical thinking and logic. Look. Here are the absolute facts: A. Woman gets pregnant by having sex with man. B. Abortion is an option, and only a pill for the first 15 weeks. C. Man says he doesn't want to be a father. D. Man requests she get an abortion. E. Woman knows man wants abortion, she knows than an abortion is just a pill (not a surgical procedure), she knows that it is available to her, but she…

You can, for a few minutes of a lawyer's time, legally become a sperm donor for your friend. You don't need to go to a sperm bank: turkey baster works just fine. There is no sex involved What the hell does that have to do with it? Contracts are signed beforehand with the concept of pregnancy on the table , it's entire reason for being right? No FWB accidents , no condoms slips. It's a well known procedure with pregnancy as the intended outcome. This doesn't matter. The outcome is the same regard…

Nah. That's for the birds. Dude there's plenty of quality women who will actually be offended if you offer to pay. Anyhow it's a good test to see if she's actually interested in you or at the very least is a respectful and not entitled person. Let me ask you this: if you knew ahead of time that she expects you to pay, would you go out with her? Probably not because you would find that behavior selfish and entitled. Even if I only made $150k (which I make more than that,). Tech workers, let's say there are 100,000 of them. Out of a population of around 4 million people in Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro area . Median household income even in Seattle is something like $115k. That's household income, not per capita income. Median per Capita income is $50k. I make far above median household income, and even further above the median per Capita income. It's quite literally not average. It's average per tech worker. But considering Seattle and surrounding area population size, it's not the "average Joe" salary.

Yeah normie face. But I'm overweight. So that's likely most of it. If you really want to lead with your wallet, date down the socio-economic ladder and look for someone close to your level in looks. Eew I wouldn't date a lower socio-economic female version of me. If I'm going to go for ugly she would have to have money. But I would rather be single than date a female version of me lol. 🤮

There's a reason the tech bro stereotype is so prevalent and also so disliked. I never quite understood what the stereotype is and why it's disliked. Maybe I'm out of the loop: can you explain the stereotype? . People who decide to build their life in the city/region do infinitely better than those who are a bit more transient and treat it as a temporary stop, since they make a better effort to integrate with the overall culture. It's always refreshing when I run across women who don't drink from the feminist tit. That milk went sour in the 90s. Have you ever went on a date with a woman yourself, just to experience it? Not saying you're a lesbian but it would be an interesting experiment for you to try first dates with girls just to see. You could write a book about it. Call it "50 first dates with feminists".

I use first dates as shit tests too. If she offers to pay her half, I let her do it I don't fight to pay. Why? If she pays without fuss or microexpressions I would know she views me as an equal. If she pays but has a snarl or a look of surprise that I accepted, then I know she doesn't view me as an equal. And obviously if she doesn't pay her half at all, or it has to be asked: then I know she doesn't see me as an equal. The only time I pay the full amount (her part and mine) is if I have a lot o…

The way you write I can't tell if you're a dude or a chick. Maybe that's on purpose. In either respect, if a girl showed up 30 mins late I would probably be texting her at 7 mins in. If I didn't hear anything I'd text once more at 15 mins in. After that I'd probably be pretty pissed. At 20 mins in past me would have been worried something happened to her. Men's rights. It's literally right there in the tag. My dad had no custody at all because my mom was able to use the family courts to take away all parenting rights.

The dumb thing is that reddit just never looks into anything. They just let automatic bans happen based on karma farming. And you all know how much karma these guys have farmed.

What I find funny. They would probably be offended if in reply to "I would never date a man that had sex with a prostitute", is I said "I would never date a woman that had sex with anyone outside a committed relationship" they would be absolutely offended even though it's almost the same thing.

There's some conversations deeper in the threads. One example: there's a conversation from a feminist saying she doesn't respect a guy who uses an escort, even if there is no exploitation et cetera. Read that thread. Far more interesting.

If you ask me, I think ladies are afraid if sex becomes a commodity even for unattractive guys, they will lose their ability to manipulate men. Because then it really does become a question of "what do you bring to the table?". I'm already halfway towards seeing sex as a commodity: I got my own toys that get me pretty much there anyways.

This is the way I see it: When it comes to what you and your family do: use your religion to justify your decisions. But when it comes to policymaking: your religion can't have any bearing or weight on what laws exist. Otherwise you enforcing your religion on the rest of us. So make a secular argument towards policy making. Save the religious argument for church. That includes speech such as "life begins at conception". To secular minds and scientists there can't be anything resembling a thinkin…

Ok sure. But we're talking colloquial understanding. The purpose of language is to communicate thoughts and ideas, not necessarily to use exacting definitions especially when crafting a figurative analogy.
/r/MensRights07/05/22 06:37 AM

Clearly you understand I'm speaking figuratively. The colloquial understanding a of a parasite. It's something that uses up resources. A cancerous growth is a parasite in this understanding. Obviously it's not a foreign object. That's not what I was insinuating, and I hope you're not that dense.

Medical agency is a different thing than non-medical agency. It is generally accepted that a caretaker has a right to make medical decisions for their child. Circumcision is not a medical decision unless the doctor legally recommends it as medical advice.
/r/MensRights06/05/22 08:17 PM

So under your belief, it's perfectly ok for pediophile parents to sexually assault their children? Are you listening to yourself? Under your belief, a parent can chop off any body part they don't like in the child. Don't like your child having two arms? Off it goes. Don't like your child having a penis? Give them gender transformation surgery. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you?
/r/MensRights06/05/22 08:15 PM

The right to religious freedom stops absolutely when you effect other people directly with your actions due to your religion. A child is not a possession that you can do whatever you want with. You're their caretaker only. You don't get to make permanent non-medical decisions for them just because your religion says so. Religious freedom is freedom for you, to not be limited in your beliefs and rituals upon and within yourself and upon and within other consenting members of your religion. Regard…

I personally do not think abortion is a problem. Especially if you know the science. Throughout the first trimester (when the majority of abortions are done) an abortion is merely taking a pill. That pill makes the uterine lining inhospitable to hosting a fetus (which is barely the size of a walnut at this point) and you just dispose of it like a normal period with some extra heavy flow. What I don't understand is those who are wishy washy about their stance on abortion. Either it is a life that…
/r/AntiFeminists06/05/22 04:44 PM

At this point, abortion should be the default, legally speaking and you should have to engage in an active choice to keep the child. Being that abortion isn't even a procedure but just a pill now, it's hard to pretend that women are any different in their legal stance than men. You want to impregnate yourself with random sperm donor? Go right ahead, but why should it be my problem? That's the way I view it. It's not "she's choosing to keep the baby" no, she's choosing to have a baby.

Call it antisemitism if you want. I don't give a shit about "cry-bullies". (Cry-bullies are ones who use emotional manipulation to get what they want: often sometimes using fake crying to manipulate others). It's just a word. I have nothing against Jewish people. But if their religion requires body mutilation than yes I'm against Jewish people on their religious practices. If that's antisemitism than so be it. Circumcision is wrong. You can't hide behind religion to make it somehow ok.

This is great. I wish all feminists had this attitude. But unfortunately many of them are very much not this way. Many who use the label feminist, only use it when it benefits them or gives them an excuse to blame men for their problems. I don't meet many level headed feminists. Maybe you can spread it: call out your fake feminists on Reddit (that is if they don't banhammer you first). When feminism was just starting out it's third wave it was mostly agreeable. Unpopular opinion: yes you have the freedom to speak. But we don't have to give you a way to reach other people when you speak. You want to be heard by other people and have radicalized discussions? Make your own damn platform and let your hate filled rhetoric fester there. I'm glad FDS is gone. Maybe just maybe people might start listening to their own sense of self rather than the bullshit from FDS.

That's amazing. Yes in your case I would say her attitude hasn't been tainted by the likes of FDS or anything from modern "feminism". So you got lucky in that you got a girl that was still "mint" in that her mind wasn't yet corrupted. I don't think that's possible with most women though.

I see that as strange. I would be scared to lose a million dollars. That doesn't make me low value because I care about keeping the million dollars. And why should it be a power struggle? It's not about rather he's rich or not. You forget, she in essence is rich too, once he sells any of the properties or businesses she gets 50%, and after one of the youngest child is 23 she can sell her shares herself. She's rich too buddy. There's a schedule: if you make this amount, you pay y% of your income per child. There's no stipulations in that schedule for rather the custodial parent is well off or not.

How old are you? If you're a minor this is by definition a sexual assault case. With regards to minors the courts don't even consider consent, a minor cannot consent to sexual contact by definition (with a few exceptions in some states where they have different laws for 16 - 20 year olds). If you're a minor, Tell your father what happened or if no father figure tell a trusted adult such as a teacher or principal or counselor. This woman should be put in prison. He got a decent deal. But nevertheless, child support is supposed to be afforded by the non-custodial parent, regardless of if the custodial parent needs the money. I'm saying, had it been a man in the woman's situation, he would of been required to pay child support.

Lol I know this is in jest, but a lot of inmates on death row are actually resentful and accept their punishment as what they feel they deserve. (For the record I don't think anyone deserves to be killed by the state regardless of crime, but that's what they felt: the underlying guilt of their crimes eats away at them. Some of them basically get to the point to where if the state didn't do it, they would)

I myself am not any particular pilled. I still believe there's plenty of good women (like 30% at least) that don't act to bluepill blackpill or red pill ideology, especially those that were raised by single dads (p.s. if you find her dad is most dominant in her decisions, find out what her dad is like, if he's cool...wife her up) . I've found more tomboy girls or girls in STEM careers to be less crazy and more grounded.

Perhaps. I think connecting the dots in her behavior to a group of women she despises is probably the best way. If you can convince a woman she's acting exactly like the women that disgust her, or if you can convince her that others see her in that light, she'll want to change her behavior faster than she changes clothes at a 80% off sale.
