Ooo I see, you give her your number - less pressure for her, but also she has to take the initiative

But when you say let’s hangout sometime, sometimes they say yes out of politeness then flake later or don’t follow back

I think that may be perceived as more strange for the other party. For example, “how did he know my name and why did he add me when we havent even talked and aren’t even in the same organization?”

Her not accepting your Instagram friend request still stands out to me. A coworker who adds someone on Instagram but never talked to them would also make me feel weirded out. Are you sure you aren’t romanticizing this?

Thanks a ton! All points are spot on. Honestly, insightful with the flaws I didn’t notice of not wanting to be vulnerable and to have more fun

I used to do direct approaches along time ago, but switched to indirect. I recall Todd V saying it’s great for beginners because it conveys interest and man to woman establishment, but to progress, need to move on from it. It seems like one would give their power away by saying a compliment. Also if I do a direct approach like that, I end up leading to a conversation of where you from, what are you doing in the city, job, etc.

Thanks for the advice everyone! It feels odd to escalate in the daytime. More comfortable just getting to know each other, but it doesn’t seem effective for dates

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
