Funnily enough, same goes for pain. I have seen people that freak out over the smallest dull pain and then I realize that they have never had a broken bone, never felt true hunger pain, or anything of extreme measure. The shittier position you are in now only makes the rest of your life seem so much better.

When I joined this subreddit I was experiencing to some degree what you put for stage 2. See, it's not like I haven't tried these things and felt discomfort by them or refused to try them. I have, I just don't find it any fun to do so. That would be like saying, "Trust me, just join some knitting clubs, I guarantee you will seriously regret it otherwise.". Mind you something like going to the bar or clubs is very fun for me, but costs me money and my broke ass can hardly afford food never mind booze :/

Well thankfully I have a few interests besides just video games. Video games are just my main go to, and my other hobbies aren't very sociable :/. The biggest problem for me is I don't have a car so I can't travel very far, and I live in a poor ghetto neighborhood. Ghetto as in I pay 200 for rent, I'm the only person in my entire area I know that isn't on Section 8 or food stamps.

See, but that leads into the problem of having a bunch of acquaintances that I have little to nothing in common with. The gym is something I should do for myself anyway though, but in the past I have focused too much on working out more than socializing. I have tried martial arts and playing a sport but they are all pretty boring to me. See my biggest problem with this is that the biggest activity I'm passionate about is playing Video games. "Well then there is LAN cafes and stuff like that to go to."
