It takes 2 to want to make it work. Did she threaten divorce before but don’t really mean it? Could be to make you listen, she’s tired but still love you can’t give up that kind? Otherwise she already gave up. Each time the unresolved fight pulled the distance love apart and closer to divorce. Once she decided let go it’s almost impossible to get it back

It’s not easy to have other good enough skills as backup- these skills may not even be useful as times, things, market could have shifted faster/ hard to predict. Luck, connections, foresight, planning, time, affordability etc etc influence one’s success. earning in stock market is well done already, many burnt too. Get a job, can survive then navigate life

Some of it like dad or even your brother’s health- part of life, everyone will face it. Your family business- nothing to be ashamed of. No business is good forever, some can’t even get going. So be proud. Look at how to do it differently/other business etc Your soon to be ex- you have seen her true colors. She’s only here for the good stuff. U don’t leave your friend(she claimed) do u? Not to mentioned husband and wife for so long, even if no more romantic feelings and at difficult time. Open th…

Think for urself op. You have been nice enough all these time. She’s not nice to you, don’t have to be nice to her. She would have work to keep this marriage if it’s that important. But she only want the comfort it offers and has been stringing you for long enough. If she’s honest- you could have save those years wasted and find a better woman and happier! You are not very young now, what do you have to offer for next relationship? What if kids comes along? Law is there for reasons so give only …

She needs to be responsible for herself not you. By giving her 80% it’s already kind of you. No one should be using suicide against another unless she has depression then seek medical help. She needs to learn how to fish herself- a abled educated adult she is. She will be able to survive, she has family friend etc don’t she? Go to work, learn new skills etc etc. all she cares about is herself- not having to work but supported.

Will you regret? Sometimes we take comfort day to day for granted but that’s the greatest thing to have. What do you seek? Do you both still talk etc? If not start. Do something together- learn new things, do laundry etc etc tell her how u feel but maybe a therapist will be able to advise best how to go about it etc

Just said u need to cool down think about how to improve the relationship then tok to your wife. You thinking she has another man- distrust or lack self confidence both isn’t good. Is there any reasons for thinking so? Go for therapies both of you. When she nag- it means she still cares. Maybe she need help things to be done her way but you think it’s ok to wait or do it your ways…these are all day to day things that is not important but break relationships. Have a good understanding and see how…

Get the evidence medical records you need from the medical consultant. If she’s violent again- call the police so you have a record. Settle your financial etc and file for divorce. It’s not just bedroom issues, she’s violent, liar, manipulator, disrespect you. Are you sure you want to lead this kind of life( worst later)?

Farm life is great, don’t worry about jobs and someone who doesn’t care but treated you badly- she is no longer the same woman. And it’s a marriage not worth fighting. You can do it if others went through worse can! Get urself well, spend time with your mum. You won’t starve as long as you are able to and willing to work. Get a lawyer and settle the divorce, take all and what you can(you need it). Do not give to her like that.

You love hard and able to forgive it’s rare and a good trait just that learning when who what to let go of when we should. It’s her loss and a way your gain(cheater almost always cheat and the issues is them not you). Don’t waste any more precious time or life Don make yourself bitter by hating her, she’s not worthy- she’s a woman that only uses her body to use a man for her benefits actually( no sacrifice or anything throughout)- belief karma will get her and enjoy be happy with the rest of you…

Read up on teaching- phrases etc that enlightens you about life, self love, healing, moving on, eq etc. you are the best support for yourself. Does talking really help you or are you reopening revisiting what you refuse to let go? Are you happy with current state? Why stay in it? Get out! She already did! Life is good before meeting her it will be good too after. . It’s ok to have faults too, nobody is perfect but learn and be better, choose better!

Think about it this way- another year of anniversary in a marriage that you are unhappy about? You are free now to find better happiness for yourself and also enjoy being single- it’s better now than in a marriage that’s broken. Unless you are the one that ruined it.

You still got a lot more $ than me. Take care of yourself. Be glad such sucker’s gone from your life. Time to love yourself too, not just your kids and don’t worry too much they will be ok. Take your depression med, think positive, appreciate life still while we still able to

Give yourself some time. I said somewhere but I said again- it’s a tough decision and something really caused you to make it. It’s valid and right. You were unhappy. Feeling sad, regret because your mind will refresh the good memories spent. You wanted a good outcome but the disappointment wasn’t easy for the mind to process not what we like to accept. Everything that was put into it… Nobody gets in a marriage to divorce. If you have worked hard, give in, gave time, tried, communicated etc GO wi…

Relationship is constant choices- choosing each other again and again and efforts. Balancing differences, expectations, growing together keeping from too far apart, managing conflicts etc It’s hard work and hard to work. Many things are beyond our control. Enjoy life while we have the time and health. When sickness comes and in pain- all these won’t matter. Appreciate the good people in your life and let go of the bad ones. We learn also about ourselves and to be better. Tiring shit sometimes

Yes it is common because what you were used to for years is gone. Your mind will replay the good times. Do you want to go back to before? Are you sure history will not repeat? Think of the reasons why you made that decision(not easy) in the first place. If you want to get back, please make sure there’s improvement. Did you not talk it out or go for counselling? When you mentioned divorce, did she attempt to change or salvage the marriage? Few more years and it might be harder for you to meet ama…

Another person may help you get over but you are being cruel to her if you haven’t sort out internally the feelings trauma from the cheating. Take at least few weeks months to settle. Think through really what you can accept and cannot moving forward. What life you want. Have a clean break before even using dating apps- it’s messy still in such marriage, adding more ?? and please state clearly upfront.

Yes cheating is coward, selfish, immature behaviour. Much as you want to justify- it’s not right and you are hurting others. Take accountability that you can be proud of. If you are unable to deal with issues and your own feelings properly then you will bring with you whenever you go and it will only deepen worsen. Jumping from person to person does not change the issues but lead to more build up and starting over again and again. You will hate yourself and life more. It’s not worth it.

Well, some people purposely go for married men or married women…. To them it is more challenging by exciting, convenient to cheat than end the marriage, they just want to have best of everything.

Yes or pure greed and never satisfied. Somehow nice people will be abuse and get bored of taken granted by partner. Humans are sometimes really cheap and like to make things difficult for ownself. They like the chase etc to feel accomplishment and better appreciate things/ ppl

You are still young like you said, no kids, just a hse assets to split, you still have opportunities compared to those older. Loss isn’t that much. Be wiser and pick a better woman next. If not a better self It’s ok and normal to cry but move forward. If she cheated or you have to cheat it would have felt worst and if there is children it’s so much more complicated. Think on the bright side. We are mostly alone since young although we may have parents etc but we still go through experiences life…

It’s normal and only because you have feelings and truly loved. Just because she done wrong doesn’t not take away the love u gave or made it wrong. U need time. And the challenges of taking care of the kids going through this difficult times, u need someone there- not her. U won’t wan her back for sure and shouldn’t. You can do it! Stay focus, take care of yourself. We are here for each another! :)

But these 100 guys ain’t good guys mostly. It’s stressful to filter if you are looking to settle long term and if they are experience with women-they are good at pretending, high chances the woman will get hurt again and again unless like them, no commitment no feelings just benefits and keep changing persons .

U r not alone. I too woke up from sleep heart beating fast, upset anxious. Some days I just cry, I don’t feel happy, I felt unwanted, a failure. Even sleep which what I does most now to stop thinking- I doesn’t get peace sometimes… I did seek help but felt they judged(even on basic upkeep of appearance- so I am supposed to look like a gone case person?) and don’t understand- they are just academically trained and not experienced themself, do they truly understand the pain? Having a religion does not define someone. Some can really learn the good teachings and follow to guide them in life. Some just have a religion as it is, others do bad things and uses religion to feel better… but in general religion teaches people to be good etc thus it may be better someone is exposed to one I believe it’s the nature of a person within- whether they are simple, kind, givers/takers, selfish/equal sharing/selfless, understanding, greedy/contented , appreciative/unappreciative, nu…

Please reach out and seek help and suicide is not the solution. Not for such unworthy people. There’s men that uses and hurt women to heal as revenge etc- it’s mean Not just be the type of fren we wish for but in general treat people how you want to be treated. Honestly, kindness…but some people don’t deserve being nice to. We have to learn who are these people too

Make sure she’s not asking u away from home so she can cheat with her lover… is your hse so small that she cannot have her call in 1 room? I get it it’s not good to be 24/7 sticky with yr partner but chasing him or her away….???

Well, you tried and can’t work so no point wasting time. At least you did not waste years and had kids to find out. Don’t! Do not marry if next one faces same issues that you or she cannot live with. If you agreed with some of the issues- work on and improve on yourself so the next relationship has less barriers. Worst are people that see no fault in themself. Seriously think about what you need to do in this marriage. Separation is serious and will she again raise it up? Is she taking you or th…

Don have to plan about anniversary or remember and get blamed for forgetting etc. spend the money efforts on urself and ppl that’s here for you and care. There’s so many things to remember in life. Move forward and enjoy now, we never know how much time we have left

Ask urself why u cheat? Once a cheater always a cheater. If u love her u won’t cheat on her. Did you even understand how being cheated feels? But you gave her a choice and is honest about it. Don get in a committed relationship, be in an open relationship and be frank from beginning.

Go seek medical help, go religion class to get your peace, go out with old frens, make new frens. Yr life is ur own. Yr partner is not your life worst if they already given up. Take it as another chance to meet better person.

Yr daughters accepted her readily? I read about cases of kids not accepting dad’s new girlfriend etc. Also on men that didn’t want to commit to marriage again. Do they invest lesser same or more to the next greatest woman?

Stability is more important in mid-life. Why would one seek more uncertain changes? I guess when life is just too comfortable that one lack purposes and finding meaning whatever meaningful to them- their life.

I have read about it too in some other forums and I am amazed. All these life- one is not living as herself? Can’t one find( is she aware what she even seek?)while in marriage- family support instead of alone? Excuses?

Imagine there’s betrayer- worst. U question what is it you are lacking etc. you had years of good marriage- it’s remarkable already. Indeed if there’s no boundaries- takers will take more and more. For givers- naturally we give. Find someone who’s like you.

So there’s 13k women and 32k men? The difference in figure is wide. Have the ladies all moved on, probably had other support avenues.

I guess it’s how the brain manage trauma. Some days we just feel numb, some days good, some days like hell. Good that her life doesn’t concern u- it shouldn’t. And I hope you find someone else too. But heal completely and work to be a better person We need to find the peace within ourselves too. You are coping well

Should one be unlucky again- hopefully this time it takes just 1-2 years( I see the 10yrs refers to California legal divorce alimony etc). Life- not everyone is lucky? If we give up then we will never find the one, but whether we can find its fate I supposed. It’s nice to know there’s still many responsible men out there that can actually feel with their heart whom wanted a long term monogamy relationship. It’s so messy in today’s society
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/25 12:12 PM

It’s the fear of betrayal and heartache that’s hard to heal. All those time etc wasted for whom you thought is going to stick by u but wasn’t- just like that, so fragile… poor judgement, one sided, people changes? Why are humans so complicated? Some said relationships is just an exchange of benefits and when there’s none it ends. Then it’s not too bad to be single
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/25 12:02 PM

Because living together may have caused certain strains? Or too comfortable there is no longer sparks or no more chase to make them feel loved? Wanting new or better and it came? Many reasons. I want a responsible loyal man to commit to last a life time with and it’s so hard to find- do such men ever exist? Marriage, divorce now is like moving homes or maybe more times than one moved.
/r/Divorce_Men07/08/25 11:54 AM

it’s a pity already spent so many years together. Is new relationship really better? Having to restart all over with someone else… I donno. Have you since found a better partner? Hope u had

Ya moving back and forth. Sometimes it hurts so bad- you kept thinking why it doesn’t work when u want it to, why he/she didn’t want you. What went wrong? Why is love so hard… U kept telling urself let go, sometimes you are happy of being positive having move forward a step etc etc…it’s terrible to be living like this. Emotions can be hard to control- lack eq, too sentimental?? :(
