Make fitness fun, easy, and effortlessI disagree with your take on cycling. For years, it was my primary form of exercise. Even though I'm over 50, I still have great legs. If you do nothing but LSD (long slow distance) rides, then, yes, you won't gain any significant muscle. You can (and should) mix in several sprints on every ride. It doesn't take a long sprint to get your legs burning every bit as much as you would with squats. And, as other have said, cycling is MUCH easier on your knees. | /r/TheRedPill | 26/06/18 06:42 PM
Under cover shit-tests?This is good. And I'm with you all the way up to here: "You'll know you had a good day when your wife tells you to sit your ass down and relax". And what, tells you that you've been a good boy? This is operating in her frame. Why do you GAF whether your wife gives you permission to sit down? | /r/askMRP | 23/01/18 02:32 AM
Feedback on my 'Phase I' plan?I'm going to go against the group here in the advice on lifting. The general consensus is to lift heavy and low # of reps. I call it the Go Big or Go Home (GBOGH) approach. Works great for some. Mostly the young. Us older guys... it doesn't work as well. I started out with GBOBH, and I wound up blowing out my knee. I'm still lifting, but not legs until I can get my knee fixed. See these articles: http://www.building-muscle101.com/building_muscle_for_older_men.html http://www.building-muscle101.c… | /r/askMRP | 24/10/17 12:15 PM
How do I know if marriage is right for us?I was thinking the same thing. This HAS to be a troll, right? Surely no man is this ignorant. | /r/askMRP | 20/10/17 04:03 PM
Bachelor party strip clubsAfter the ultimatum, your response should have been: "Thank you for stopping me from making the biggest mistake of my life." Then open the door and say, "Now GTFO", leave the ring on the table, let me know where to send your crap". If you think this is going to get better after you put another ring on her finger... guess again. DO NOT MARRY HER. I don't care how good her BJ's are. This is absolutely a hard next situation. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 09/10/17 12:37 AM
Do the workStop that, dammit!!! You know we're not supposed to take about fight club. That gets difficult when I'm laughing hysterically, and the wife asks, "What's so funny?" | /r/MarriedRedPill | 11/09/17 07:45 PM
Need some advice regarding staying in engineeringI'm an engineer. In college, we had an alternate name for Engineering school... Pre- Business. A lot of engineering school dropouts switched to Business. | /r/askTRP | 06/09/17 09:46 PM
Feeling down after drinking?16 oz of Gatorade will do wonders for a hangover. | /r/askTRP | 29/08/17 12:09 AM
How should approach with and deal with her being angry, mad or feeling bad cause of something I supposedly doneOh, hell yes... Next. I'm new at this, and even I know this one. You are so far in her frame you can't see daylight. Any time you try to escape her frame, she pulls you back in. You still have work to do, but the answer to this problem is easy... Next. | /r/askMRP | 25/08/17 05:01 PM
Negotiation theory, STFU and Problem solvingThink, Lucy and Charlie Brown and the football. Regardless of what Lucy says, she always pulls the football away. Make note of what she does, not what she says. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 23/08/17 05:03 PM
[FR] A shit test I failed miserably.I thought I had the perfect answer. I was going to say, either have the meal sent back, or act like you now have the superpower to control the future. And maybe suggest buying lottery tickets. Or maybe suggest calling Hollywood to see if they're interested in doing a superhero movie about me. But I like this answer MUCH better. | /r/askMRP | 14/08/17 06:20 PM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test? That depends. Do you care? A little. I'm trying to get to the point of not caring. I'm making progress, but I'm not there yet. What is it that she likes about you? She says that I make her laugh, but I think that it's at least as much the fact that I am a good little beta bitch that will let her have her way. I'm lifting and reading, and taking it slow, but I still have a long way to go. | /r/askMRP | 14/07/17 02:31 PM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test? Its a shit test- don't take it seriously, make fun of it, have fun with it, and most of all don't get butthurt. Yeah... Well... I'm working on it. It's going to take a little time to completely let go of decades of resentment. | /r/askMRP | 14/07/17 02:25 PM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test?Oh, it's DEFINITELY what she is/isn't doing for me now. That's the whole reason I decided to swallow the pill. But the more I learn about what the red pill can do, it's becoming no longer just about sex. | /r/askMRP | 08/07/17 12:38 PM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test? Here. I will help. Saving the Best I thought I had read this, but after reading the first few paragraphs, I find that I haven't. That was a good read. Thanks. | /r/askMRP | 08/07/17 12:59 AM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test?I was a DJ at a college radio station and I'm not fucking chad on any level. The DJ's where all fucking dorks. OK. I guess my perception of the sexual prowess of college radio DJ's is overblown. I guess my hamster got jolted into action. Your wife is probably pretty attractive and a decent person, right? Well... we're both north of 50. She was pretty attractive in college. And actually, surveying the population of 40+'s in Wal-Mart... she's still above average. Thanks for this. | /r/askMRP | 08/07/17 12:46 AM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test? What is there to do? Cry? Get upset? I was thinking more along the lines of STFU, or passing some sort of test. | /r/askMRP | 08/07/17 12:39 AM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test?Working on it. Every once in a while, though, something happens that makes DGAF a challenge. | /r/askMRP | 07/07/17 05:52 PM
Wife's sexual past may be more than reported. A test? This is oozing with insecurity brother... I can't completely deny this. It wouldn't really bother me, except she acts a bit prudish now. I get BJ's every once in a while. Anal? We've tried it, but that's been off the menu for 30 yrs. She claims to not like porn. Now I'm thinking that it may be because it reminds her of a past she wants to forget. She initiates about once every 3 months. | /r/askMRP | 07/07/17 05:49 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.I don't want her emancipated. I want her to stay at home, start following the rules, and start being more responsible. I'm just hoping that there are red pill strategies that can make that happen before it's too late. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 03/07/17 01:40 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.I can be an asshole tho it's a response to your actions. I will be a great Father that is awesome, if your actions warrant that. This is how life works and I need everyone to know upfront the expectations. I like this. I'm stealing this. Thanks. Bi-polar? Is she on Lithium? No. Not sure what she's on, but it's not Lithium. It's changed a couple of times. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 03/07/17 01:05 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.Oh, this will DEFINITELY be addressed with her therapist. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 03/07/17 01:02 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.Done. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 03/07/17 02:21 AM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.I see her worth as infinity. She's a child of God. But I can't give in to her demands. That will not lead what is best for her. I used the words "bring to the table" because she used the word negotiate. I didn't feel that she was in a position to negotiate. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 11:59 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.So YOU've raised a daughter with no car, no job, no HS diploma, and no means of supporting herself. And you blame her for not having anything to bring to the table...what would that be exactly? Money? Or do you want peaceful co-habitation? A relationship? A successful daughter? She could bring responsibility. And a willingness to obey our rules. I want her to be successful, but if I give in to her demands, she will just continue on her path of self entitlement. What punishment can you level that… | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 11:57 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.She is in therapy, and she's on medications. She goes to a counselor every two weeks, and a psychiatrist every few months to adjust her meds based off the recommendations from the counselor. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 08:25 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.Daughter came home today. She flipped on the negotiations. Pretty much accepted all our rules. The only thing she pleaded for and got, was to be able to continue to see the new BF. After the grounding is over. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 07:22 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.Assuming 18 is the age of majority where you are, contact the boyfriend's parents and tell them to return your minor child to avoid kidnapping charges. That was definitely on the table. But she came home today. I'll give details below. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 07:17 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.How long until she is 18? A little over 5 months. I'd probably just let her have her way, but not give her one red cent, you'll want to keep an especially close eye on your wife, she'll slip her money, almost guaranteed. Not in this case. Wife said, "I'm ready to rip her head off". Wife's ready to cut her loose. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 07:16 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.OK. It's in there. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 07:08 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.I'd be terrified she comes back pregnant or with a newborn but I have no clue what I would do in this situation. I know what to do in this case. Adoption. Both our daughters were adopted, so there is not as much stigma surrounding it in our family. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 07:07 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.What have BF parents said? They would be a first contact for me. I think his parents are divorced, and he lives with his mom. I guarantee how they are told you are makes you the Villan, and her the victim, so they probsbly think youre assholes Oh, without a doubt. Had something like this happen with friend of oldest daughter. Friend said that parents kicked her out, and could she come live with us. I called her parents, and just as I expected, that was NOT the story. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 03:50 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.Well at least she's not a plate anymore(?). Well, she's no longer a plate for the old BF. Not sure about the new one. For all I know he has several plates. His extended family (grandparents) have money. Not sure if that affects anything. Is she done with high school? No. She has another year. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 03:46 PM
17 yr old daughter "ran away"... kinda, and I'm not sure how to handle it.This goes beyond teenage "rebellion". Maybe she has mental health issues or maybe she was raised terribly. Not enough info here. She has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Part of me, though, thinks that it's an act that she uses to justify bad behavior. At other times, though, she seems like the nicest kids ever. | /r/MarriedRedPill | 02/07/17 03:17 PM
Daughter is being plated. How do I stop it?We've gone though similar machinations with her older sister. What we learned during that "phase" was that teenage girls literally don't have fully developed brain functionality for judgement. So it's my job to keep her safe while she's in my care. I don't know for a fact that they're having sex, but I don't know that they're not either. Current BF seems to have a lot of beta tendencies. Today he bought her flowers. But he is also dating other girls, which doesn't seem beta at all. | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 11:26 PM
Daughter is being plated. How do I stop it?I'm thinking of telling him all about the new scope I got for my AR. About how it has graduations showing bullet drop out to 400 yards. And then let that sink in. Kinda like the old Andy Griffith "cleaning the shotgun on the front porch" scene. | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 11:20 PM
Daughter is being plated. How do I stop it?Thanks. Good stuff, except for this: And for a finale, sprinkle a little Disney magic, "You believe that true love is out there, and you know deep in your heart that (insert name) isn't it. Follow your heart." I regret EVER allowing Disney into my house. | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 11:18 PM
Daughter is being plated. How do I stop it?We do not dig in our trash. That's what I want to tell her, but I and her mom are idiots. We don't know anything, because, you know, "things are different now". | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 11:16 PM
IntroInteresting. The thing is, would I even WANT a 25 yr old? At some point, she will start talking, and listening to 25 yr olds talk makes me cringe. Not even sure if most would qualify as the oldest teenager. | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 01:51 AM
IntroThanks for that. | /r/askMRP | 28/06/17 01:48 AM
RP and religion ...?You know that many now say that Jesus was being sarcastic when he said that, right? People can SAY Jesus was being sarcastic, but He wasn't. In Luke 22:36 He told His disciples to sell their cloak to buy a sword. Keep in mind that carrying a sword was legal only for Roman citizens, and not all of the disciples were citizens. So Jesus was telling some of them to break the law in order to be able to defend themselves. So... self defense was placed above the law. The cloak was, for most people, the… | /r/askMRP | 27/06/17 11:47 AM
IntroYou're having a problem with reading comprehension. I never said that I didn't want to be good enough to attract a 22 yr old HB9. 22 yr old HB9's have typically been given everything on a silver platter, and have been pedestalized. Have you seen some of their conversations on social media. Makes me puke. Now if all of our time together was spent with something in her mouth... that might work. LOL. | /r/askMRP | 24/06/17 01:03 PM
IntroRe: Averages... Interesting. Be careful about self-fulfilling prophecies. Putting arbitrary limits on yourself for no reason is BP as fuck. The thing is... I don't know if I would even WANT to catch the eye of the HB9 at Hooters. Most 22 yr olds are airheads. I can't stand to listen to them talk. It's like... are there really any functioning brain cells in there? I agree that fucking a 22 yr old HB9 would be fantastic, but only if I didn't have to listen to her talk. Re: Sex life with my wife...… | /r/askMRP | 24/06/17 02:29 AM
IntroOk, I wasn't going to get specific, but I DO have goals. Weight: Lose 20 lbs Professional: Another job or position with same company with higher position and salary. Can't BS those. I get them or I don't. | /r/askMRP | 24/06/17 02:22 AM
Introalways important to have a Plan B. As a matter of fact - I would say it is absolutely imperative to have a Plan B. I thought mrp was all about having a plan, and sticking to it. If the wife and family are on board, great. If not, that's fine, too. | /r/askMRP | 23/06/17 12:46 PM
IntroI'm overweight, out of shape, and have low energy. My career is on cruise control. I make decent money, but no promotions in 7 years. My life and career have stalled. I'm looking to jump start them. | /r/askMRP | 23/06/17 12:29 PM
IntroWhat is a "sizable chunk"? Half? Over half? I can live with her getting half. Her getting more than that would be a bitter pill. | /r/askMRP | 23/06/17 02:57 AM
IntroMy willingness to walk away is the catalyst for my deciding that it's time to do something... BEFORE walking away. | /r/askMRP | 23/06/17 02:55 AM
IntroNot trying to fix anything in 2 weeks. I've been resisting going Rambo, but I have to admit, it IS tempting. So far, all I've done is: eliminate some of my beta tells (being a little more confident), STFU, dressing a little better (but not enough to raise suspicion), and I just started lifting. I haven't had a real shit test since I knew what one was, so I can't say I have or haven't gotten better at handling them. | /r/askMRP | 23/06/17 12:49 AM
