I don't know if he'll try again, but maybe see if any woman he dates shows warning signs and tell him about them, or have him talk to your husband for advice. He does need good male friendship more, but to personally contribute, tell him about events you know of, going there will do him good. My understanding was that when they did go, they did supporting roles. Maintaining a perimeter, carrying additional spears, using medicine. Men's restrictions on women have always either been meant to increase their safety or comfort, usually out of a practical necessity and they always involved obligations on men as well.
