This is what TRP used to be. It devolved into how to get girls on tinder. TRP used to be about attaining masculine potential and building real value. Being wanted by women is a nice consequence of being a high value man. Now TRP has devolved into pickup artistry for men without masculine role models. Grifters like Tate are making millions off of insecure, lost, young men

People claim to live happy lives without women. It’s called “Men going their own way”. It means men living outside the societal expectation of partnership and providing for women. That said, most men get to that point by being miserable, frustrated and lonely. If you’re truly comfortable with your body, more power to you. However, there are 1000 reasons to get in shape that have nothing to do with your aesthetics and gaining validation. I’ll also go on a limb and say you’re not actually comforta…

Interesting. When I got into PUA stuff around 2006/2007 guys like Mystery cited research concluding that women found more facially expressive men attractive than not. I don’t doubt that your thing works for you. I think ultimately modernized game is finding your thing /solidifying your authentic brand and doing it better than anyone else.

Godspeed, Verm. Sincerely hoping the purge is effective. I’ll do my part and report those who deserve it. There are young men out there who desperately need the support and guidance this sub provides (because the world certainly does not). The bullshit that’s made its way through the cracks over the last few years is not what they need to see in their time of need.

In the last three years I suffered one of the rarest acute spinal conditions on earth and woke up paralyzed and numb from the neck down. I spent months in the hospital and made a miraculous recovery. It was also the most potent serving of "no one fucking cares" I've ever had.

Giving me flashbacks man. In college I dated one of the highest profile cheerleaders, legit HB9. She was an alpha widow to the core. In the early days, I got the alpha treatment. Then 2 years later when breaking up, I saw her messages with my replacement: the most debaucherous sexting you've ever seen. When confronting, she said, "I didn't know you wanted that. I didn't want you to think I was a slut"..... Yeah. She gave / saved her best for someone else. But I did the beta backslide, and I got …

I've been at this since 2013/2014, but well keep it unique to your situation. With an aggressively red pill lense, all most anything can be taken as a sign of doom and destruction. That's why I say keep your perspective grounded. Her never initiating seems like a huge problem, right? Remember that you are the man, you lead her, every time you fuck as a result of your initiating it's an act of submission/ reaffirmation of your role in the relationship. Speaking from my experience- which could all…

You're giving me flashbacks to my epiphany days. You're going to be okay. I will say you have to keep a lot of this in perspective. For example, if your LTR is fucking you lots, there's a good chance you're doing the right things, not necessarily that she's feeling guilty. However, if you go from a dead bedroom to 24/7 fuckfest and you've been on the couch all day, you may have something to worry about.

This sounds about right. I think its more that my frame was impeccable until about July of last year, and I haven't really recovered since- I'm sure the contrast and inconsistency are beyond frustrating for her. Haven't done the best job of recovering from some life shake ups.
/r/TheRedPill09/03/18 03:55 PM

Right. It feels like she's basically asking me to end my LTR, but I called her bullshit out and said "why? its not like you'd commit to me". To this, my side piece responded with a flirty bull shit "who knows" gesture...Ending the LTR would be too compliant. Just not sure what my play is here.

I know my niche is basic sorority girls who like to "Wooh!" The problem is they get fat really fast out of college, are terrible people as a general rule, and general cause 12 months of drama for 4 months of plating.

I would still say this all sounds blindingly familiar to a oneitis. I'm several plates and LTR's past the Alpha Widow that gave me the oneitis that brought me here in 2014, and I still think of her occasionally.

High quality post. I have one Ex who has NEVER reached out. Go figure, its my one-itis college sweetheart that I frequently would drunkenly reach out to after graduating, breaking up and moving away. I was needy as hell, so I'm not on her mind at all.

Its like Vegas. Awesome to visit, even for extended periods of time. But the traffic is terrible, there is no public transportation, prices of everything are inflated due to population. And at the end of the day, its still a small town.

Came here to say what OP said. Im good looking, not great looking- but I get away with saying some ridiculously over the top shit to women- that said, I can do so because Ive cultivated a vibe and persona that allows it- the right charismatic confidence. Very valid and I'm acutely aware. I studied leadership/management in school and the distinction between employing emotional intelligence versus emotionally dumping on people is a very hotly discussed topic these days. I reigster very high on the emotional intelligence scale. Something about gifts and curses and all that.

I understand. That dynamic I do play, and I have had plates say they felt special when they could tell I switched into my quieter more interpersonal animus when we were 1 on 1. I assume they felt they were being let in on "the man behind the curtain" so to speak.

I struggle finding a balance between not saying more than I need to and being Charismatic/ funny. I love public speaking, I'm damn good at it- being the loud, well spoken, charismatic guy is my "brand of Alpha" as I've heard it put. Thats my masculine identity, I own that shit. It works for me. That said though, I feel like employing the Don Draper style of quiet, omnipotent power is just not ever going to mesh with my personality- it seems inauthentic or consciously reserved. This resonates with me significantly- I'm empathetic to a fault- Its always the number one trait I test for on Jungian-esque personality assessments (I worked in L&D at one point and have taken them all). I live life feeling bad. I feel bad that I had a better upbringing, I feel bad that I was born tall, white and wealthy. I think I'm still in a relationship right now because I feel bad about life circumstances that are genuinely beyond Plate's control. What the hell can I do to use my empathy p…

you should do a thread on nonsexual behavior that identifies sluts as such.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/17 05:18 PM

I think I understand what your saying, but be careful with semantics. Commitment in the Manosphere specifically refers to a committed, monogamous sexual relationship. Careful trying to change the vernacular around here because you feel your sermon is under critique. The investment/reward dynamic you highlight as an alternative to commitment, is the literal definition of commitment- an engagement contingent on continual fulfillment of conditions.
/r/TheRedPill19/04/17 08:22 PM
6

I think you have a lot of good stuff in here, and as a whole it fits the RP narrative. The only thing I would challenge is as follows: Its not so much that she's seeking to awaken the Alpha within. 90 Percent of the time, if you're dating a girl, you picked her up in Alpha mode. From the moment you give her commitment, you enter a hyper sensitive state where she goes from seeking your commitment, to immediately seeking to disqualify your Alpha status. Your commitment is your own undoing. So she'…

Yeah. Its frustrating that mainstream RP has such a disdain for anything tied to emotion. I have found I made my greatest strides in attaining my own masculinity when I embraced, understood, and channeled my emotions. Only using the logical part of your brain and leaving the emotional bit by the way side is like have a v-8 that only ever fires on 4 cylinders. Thanks man. I will know a lot more after this interview. I think they guarantee me commission the first 4 months so I don't lose my apartment during the learning curve. /u/walnads will back me up on this. If you want to read ONE fictional story, read The Stand. It accomplishes the same thing. If you're ready to dwelve into an epic, King's Opus Magnum, comprised of a frighteningly complete universe, THEN take on The Dark Tower. I read this and came here to praise your epiphany, and then I see you're an EC. Of course. But yeah, "Anxiety over her fantasy life is a Shit Test." Definitely resonates. Think of this in the context of the Alpha Widow, where her past life IS her fantasy life. What does a jolly chap do? Clearly, you can't have anxiety over her past, and should vette her long before this becomes an issue, but what of it if you missed the flags?

Losing my drinking/coke buddies scares me. Mainly, because after 5 years of this life (19-24), thats basically all of them. However, through drinking and coking- I have lost 2 close friends that predated drinking or drugs. One was my best friend of 12 years. I know TRP frowns on female friends, but this girl was the best friend I could ever have and she walked out of my life because of my drinking. So, we're sober.

Thanks OP and everyone else for the conversation here. I've started a few threads about the idea of sobriety/ beating alcoholism, and they weren't as well received. I float in and out of the AA rooms like a Yo-Yo, and I usually end up going "back out there" for the same reason- the "glamour" of party life. When I was in college it worked and was real. Cocaine and Wild Turkey made me a cool guy. The problem was everyone else grew up after the college phase, problem being, its the only life I've e…

I smoked DMT while on about a .3 of MDMA, three tabs of LSD, a red solo cup of Mushroom tea, and many lines rocked on Ketamine. After that experience, I'm really not sure the human mind can be much more inebriated. It was quite the experience.

Psychedellic enthusiast here. I find Ketamine to be very introspective. As a disassociative anesthetic, you truly look inward at yourself from the outside- you are disassociated. DMT cannot be described. I am in favor and enjoy greatly. I find more spiritual growth on Psilocybin LSD and I don't get along that well. MDMA- Only if its off the deep webs. Cocaine - Every weekend.

Im saying the needy behavior is comparable. When I was dating an hb9 to years ago I bent over backwards for her while she seemed mildly interested at best. She cheated and left me, and I understand why now that the roles are reversed.

One thing I'm curious of is another dimension to the cycle that I personally experienced and I see many others have as well. You're not necessarily Chad, but you're doing well, spinning a few plates, doing your thing, and the plates love you for it and are your perfectly little sloots. You then pick a favorite, and end up LTR'ing her. I dated a cheerleader, whom I know now to be an Alpha Widow. The Chad in this story was 19 when she was 15. He used her like a whore, she'd do anything for him and was happy to. Its not like she didn't do fun stuff for me, it was just on another level. Also the comparison gave me the timeline of my transformation from Chad (when I met her) to Beta Bux (when she cheated). For instance, when we were fucking 4-5 times a day when we first met, she'd do anything, and insisted I cum in her mouth after a point because "she missed that". that statement caused me to do some thinking... fast forward five months and she "hates blowjobs" and the more I ask the more she doesn't want…

This will be a long post but I promise it's worth a read. TL/DR:Birds of a feather flock together. This really resonated with me. This makes a painful amount of sense. The sex life had gone dull, she cheated on me over spring break, that guy went beta and it fizzled out after a week or two at which point she literally came crying back to me. I rejected her, told her I would not be taking her back, but I'd still fuck her as often as I wanted to on my terms. I drink a redbull in a plastic cup. Im also introverted. However, if you can learn to be social without booze you start playing the game on easy mode. When people ask why Im not drinking, I usually say I made a bet with friends, im doing a 30 day challenge, or that Im getting in shape for paintball season, or that I dont want to get drunk and get taken advantage of by her. You can get some good cocky funny stuff going. More recently simply say, I dont drink, and it illicits a kind of firm respec…

It is for this very reason that I quit drinking and doing drugs. I spent college getting fucked up. Granted I frequently got laid, sobriety is causing me to face my true condition and make improvements.

By Alpha Widow we're referring to a woman who has been tainted by a chad, and no guy is ever going to live up to that correct? She was ABSOLUTELY that. She started fucking a kid who was 19 when she was 15 or 16, and that when on until just before I met her. She told me about how she cheated on all her old boyfriends with him all the time, he'd summon her like a hooker, make her do things she only did for me in the early stages when I was still on my alpha grind spinning 4 other plates. RED FLAGS…

Competitive tournament paintball: Gave me the ability to say a team I helped build won third in the college national championship. Continuing to play just under the pro level is a cool talking point. Guitar: Everyone has said all the things, but when you're real good at it, they swoon. Been playing since 2nd grade, the percs are excellent. Sailing: The finest thing there is in life.

Yeah, its just tough. I don't mean to sound like a whiny bitch (so obviously I'm going to), but in my college environment I had a very high SMV, a lot of social proof, and it was like playing the game on easy mode. Combine a harsh entry into the real world with being rusty from the year long LTR, and not drinking, I feel like I'm starting from scratch. Its like learning how to write left handed. I know all the things I mentioned are crutches but damnit if they didn't work.

Man I've been with three girls who were all at least as hot as she was, (8 or higher) and it didn't do shit for me. Now the dryspell associated with moving and not knowing very many people/ not having social proof and all the crutches I'm used to is killing me.

I mean there was only one technical taking her back with me, but from the end of March until I moved across the country July 1st it was a perpetual cycle of decide I was done with her, miss her, we'd be back fucking and hanging out a week later, then I'd hear she was with Chad's 1-5 and the cycle would repeat. Even though I was hooking up with other girls during that period of time it still really fucked with me. I'm still not ok. The anger phase is subsiding I think, but then again I'm consumed…

You need to add cardio. A lot of people refer to the so called fact that cardio burns off muscle too. Shut up. The no cardio thing refers to serial runners who go for at least an hour at ultra high intensity. If you can grab your gut you need to be doing between 15 and 30 minutes of cardio a day in addition to your lift. This will also help your body get into reconstruction mode and build muscle.

Yup. I banged GDIs, sorority girls, dance team members, and ended up dating one of the cheerleaders. Granted the Cheerleader is who taught me AWALT by way of being a cheating whore, but I digress. The adjustment to the real world has been tough, because after literally living like a king for five years, graduating to an environment where I work a job like everyone else and have low SMV sucks. Feels like being a freshman again, but I guess I just have to climb back to the top.

I won't lie, the worst is yet to come. Breakups follow your stanjdard mourning process. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Bargaining is the worst, its when you start asking why wasn't I good enough. Regarding her having known about your opportunities, I'm assuming you did what any rationally raised male did and used them as opportunities to say "see, look how faithful I am to you". Thats what I did. The gurus here tell me the way to handle that is flirt, don't acknowledge that y…

Here is where you can rejoice at being wrong. You dont have to cheat! You just have to nonverbally communicate that you could at any time, and she will stay faithfull because that puts you on the pedestal. Man i wish i could take my own advice. Youre gonna be just fine dude. I promise.

I don't doubt you for a second man. My girl was my bestfriend too. We went through a pregnancy and subsequent termination together, that shit will BOND YOU. But at the end of the day, you were HER best friend, and in cheating she wasn't yours. You are a fucking awesome foreign guy, with a presumably kick ass accent and germanic features about the face. I cannot emphasize this enough. It's the one part of life where any man wishes they could take the responsiblity off of themselves, and all of your female friends will hamster wheel and say you were the perfect boyfriend, and it was all on her. But at the end of the day, she wouldn't cheat if she didn't want to. Its the most painfull and brutally honest truth of the red pill, but its still the truth.

Its not easy man. I got cheated on 5 months ago, and still struggle with it. Somedays I'm ok, other days, like yesterday, I'll remember a certain detail and it makes my blood boil and I'm ready to break things. Its the worst form of rejection. You were sold a lie growing up. You were the ideal boyfriend with the promise of an ideal life, only to find out it yields the most un-ideal of results. You feel broken, cheated, and outraged. Realzing that to women, men are just opportunities, and for the…

I think that 99 percent of the time we all come from fragile egos. There is a lot to be said for faking it until you make it, as the archaic PUA community used to suggest. However I think once one experiences mild success from faking, one gains a clearer picture of how what authentic Alpha looks like, and the necessity of getting there. At least thats how it went for me. Faked the shit out of it in early college, then I started putting in the work to make it real. Still am.

All true. Whether I want it to be or not. One thing you said about reverting to blue pill really resonated with me. Im still just so angry and hurt all at once. Yes. Absolutely. I a came to college overweight, undersocialized and beta as fuck. Very much so. Her parents divorced, specifically because her father had an affair. Even though she had boyfriends in highschool she never let them touch her, while cheating on them with the older guy on a weekend basis.
