This story is my favorite I've ever seen on this board. Cute/adorable=<3

Hey this metaphor kciks ass. I wanna suggest some ways to "beef it up" with specific examples. For instance, what would be 3 more examples that fit into the "Tinder" section? How can newbies understand what makes an exchange "fit" into that level of progress? You have a good starting thing here because the metaphor's image and feeling conveys a lot unconsciously. Add to it!!

psa my girlfriend found it really easy to hop on tinder and start fishing that way she just matches attractive women with us both in the pictures (maybe the pics focus primarily on her and i'm in like 2/5 of them) and she just propositions it works

Wrong tool for the job. Go in and tell someone armed with Parts Therapy to use Parts to get rid of the desire for her to text you back. You sit down in the chair and they guide you to communicate with the part. Turn it off, send it away (I don't recommend this) or change its perspective until it's working when and how you want it to. Bonus: You might uncover more things worth exploring once you realize how easy and powerful it is to conjure up permanent changes.

> Attraction is fueled by humor, charm, smart-ass comments, unpredictability, wit, i.e. the intangible characteristics. I keep thinking, "It's time to tone this smart ass arrogant asshole thing down, she's had enough, might be bad for her self esteem" Then I remember "nope, this is why she enjoys me."

presupposing that fairness exists and is something worth pursuing... just follow the old David DeAngelo rule: "leave her better than you found her," and the silver rule: "Do not do unto others what you would not want them to do to you."

Start figuring out ways to be mean-funny to people. Simultaneously, learn to take their problem not-at-all seriously. Goad them about their problem: "Oh, gee, you sure can't enjoy the rest of your week with THAT looming over you!!!" My suggestion is that you start overriding the "help someone" habit with the "enjoy their issue until they start enjoying themselves too and stop talking about it" habit, or a near-version of it. Not every time of course

There are girls who like texting back and forth, but you don't want to do that with your time. Loser application. If they want your attention, they can come get it in person. Warm it up via text just enough to move the conversation towards meeting up. Then do the "let's meet up at time x or time y for sushi" or whatever date you wanna go on. Small, personal suggestion: Make the date be whatever YOU wanna do that day.

The point is not that they will interact with you. The point is that you, internally, will adjust to being around them. After enough time, your expectations will adjust. You will have a set of experiences that, properly interpreted, show you, "Hey, I can talk to them casually about a topic just like everyone else." A stepping stone towards success. You also reveal a belief: "They don't like awkward guys who don't like being awkward." Do you believe that, supposing we took thirty thousand model-h…

Stop Non-jerk answer: I worked at a bottle service nightclub as a busboy for a year. My first day was literal shock at how hot the girls were. By a few months into it, they were regular people. Could've done even more to desensitize if I'd made effort to friend up with them (but I didnt). Some even made passes at me. It was literally outside of my belief system the first time it happened, and in retrospect I can tell that was the case. So, there is work to be done. Being around them helps a lot …

Personal opinion: Just do it quickly, < 2 mins. Say hi, introduce yourself WITH a time restraint so she knows you'll kick rocks asap. Makes you both feel comfortable that the interaction won't drag. Then respect your stated time restraint unless she expresses relief to have a distraction, or gives you some other emotive cue to stay (err on the side of caution, meaning, it better be a pretty strong signal). So like, "Hey I'm about to head back to my car, only have a moment, I just noticed..." and…

Coach Corey Wayne I like this guy, thanks for the suggestion. His site is simple and I'm getting ideas for like, "read about someone's submitted story of nervousness and discuss internal cues for those fears" content I could write about. Giving advice about what to say doesn't suit me but I can explain how the anxiety and nervousness I want to help with comes into being fairly well. Appreciate you.

I did what I would say is probably thousands of approaches over a few years and it still gets me sometimes, like flickers where there used to be a storm, but it's still there. Let me see if I can figure something out for you to try. This is just me making stuff up based on hypnotism or hypnotism-esque stuff I learned. I actually prefer to avoid the term now. The community helped me once many years ago (7-8) and I respect that it helps lots of men but... I don't see any need to attach "PUA" to the service I am working on. More like it's just a service that helps people with similar problems. In the meantime, the hardcore PUAs have the market's fears, problems, anxieties etc., figured out, and they are pretty close to identical to the issues my market would have. So I figure I can get some ideas on what to writ…

I'm with the dudes that say: Fun and light stuff. Just laugh. My presumption from my own experience is that you felt some feeling internally that makes you think, "Oh, I need to change the topic now because..." Nope! It's just another casual part of the night.

No desire to "instruct" PUA. Sounds like something to leave to others. I'm interested in removing the blocks that prevent guys from even starting, which is different.

You can even address the underlying triggers that cause you to clam up and start using the "body language no-no's" once you identify them. There are a few different routes to doing that which would fall under the "inner game" category.

It is possible to change. I've witnessed my own mind switch from "Can't do this, can't do that," to "I just took care of two things with one action." "My mind finds coincidences and opportunities aligning to improve multiple areas of my life at once."

Go sit next to a still pond and do your best to think of nothing. Repeat. After a while, add in: "My mind is completely still." Notice what happens when your mind begins to be still and empty, even if that interrupts your emptiness a little bit. Repeat for a while and you may begin to notice how maintaining emptiness gets easier. It's an experience, not a thought. Find a public place. Repeat exercise. I will probably have some troll find this later and use it against me but: I met a girlfriend by going in to kiss her neck two minutes after I met her in a dark nightclub. We hadn't said more than basics. I made a comment that had a lot of implied sexuality going and she was receptive so I went in. That kiss ended up being a bite on the ear by the time I was done -- because I felt her move gently. So I'm like, "She's into it, go further." There were multiple points in that interaction where I co…

I also support the post. I'm just a random poster to you, the reader, but remember that you can tell when someone is feeling negative internally while they talk to you. Every time. It's a club. It's loud. They are gonna use their nonverbal communication. Feels like you got some good rejection stories out of it. Take a moment to imagine another man experiencing those rejections, and adjust whatever is needed to sense that he feels a kind of "nothing" about those events. Maybe he feels amused or faux-offended instead. Notice that you have everything you need to feel that way about those events, because if another person can do it, so can you.

I am curious what background provided you with that insight. (In part I am checking credentials. You won't mind.) Separately, I wonder what you'd say about fear of rejection with outside sales, and cold approaching potential clients. I have some blocks there that would be valuable to get over.

"What do I do?" Start. The dude in the comments who said your belief system is fucked also might be onto something -- talking to girls is fine. Checking out girls is nothing to feel guilty about. Lots of them even *want* you to do it. So you can flip it around (if you want to) and feel guilty for NOT approaching them (choose context appropriate situations to apply this...). It's totally cool to approach women solo. If you want to be "organic," make a habit of saying hi to women as you go about y…

I recommend talking to a therapist to resolve any internal pains you have about this. It will be beneficial for you totally separate from women and game. Because it's nice to feel good internally, isn't it? Then when you've finished a few therapy sessions, and improved your internal experiences, you can notice things going better with women. Outside of the above suggestions... My interpretation is that she just told you her response to the reaction she had internally. Meaning she went, "I wonder if he's right for me" -> texts you, reads response, goes "Oh, that doesn't work, nevermind" -> Out comes the "I'm not looking for that right now, I'm mostly a switch." Curious if board members would agree with me here or have another interpretation. Might be impossible to say for sure since it's text, the king of ambiguity.
