Not a female CEO experience, more an experience of a make employer with two simple rules - 1) never employ more than one woman at a time, 2) only employ post menopausal women. His logic was that that as soon as you have two or more women in one environment they stop working. This us exacerbated if the some are capable of "breeding". That, and he refused to pay some person X weeks of wages without any productivity for maternity leave. Its a great business principal. I'm with a new employer and I …

Australian here. Regardless of the politics I can tell you, from here on the ground, women have made themselves unemployable. The opinion of every manager I've work with in the last ten years has been that women are too much of a liability. Politics and media be damned, employers aren't going to employ somebody if there's a risk of having to pay maternity leave. Especially when women are renowned for lower rates of productivity.

Ah, women in today's society are professional victims, they wont ditch the kids. Victimhood is fashionable.

I've said this before - want to solve the single mother epidemic? Make child support voluntary. Once they know the "pay cheques" aren't guaranteed they'll close those legs/start using their brains. Making child support voluntary might teach them some manners when a relationship goes shit shaped. A decent man has no issue paying child support, he just doesn't like getting fucked over while he does. Nor does he like seeing his hard earned cash spent on her shoes when its supposed to be spent on hi…

I've forgotten the correct terminology, but there's a treaty or international agreement among some countries for the collection of child support. Catch is, I have no idea which counties are not on that list/have signed the treaty. Would be good to know.

My experience so far with women is that it's the ones who had inconsistent fathers that exhibit the worst behaviours. Not that my experience is vast or anything.

I agree with another user here; do what you want. I got heat from my buddies when I started baking bread and even gardening (growing vegetables). But, I laughed it off and went on to explain my mission to teach myself some "old school" skills for when the government collapses or whatever. They laughed at me when I said that, but once that was over they were cool with it.

I'm going to say OP is right. Broke my back in '97, three months of yoga and I completed my BFA and CFA to get back into the army. Lost an arm, and took a piece out of my C6 in '98 (among other things)... yoga fixed that to. I don't go any more though. Opted for martial arts. But, I feel pretty confident in saying yoga got me walking again, and got me through the toughest part of my recovery. I can run 400m at pace with my daughter on my shoulders (17kg). Not quite my old army standard, but not …

Women will always want to come out as the "rejector" rather than the "rejected" from any interaction that questions their SMV.

My experience with women they follow the same tactic; Deny, downplay, dismiss. They do everything they can to be the victim from what results of their own actions. In my time I haven't met a woman who doesn't do this. It's bewildering. Being a victim is easier than being accountable. Don't get caught up in their wheel of disillusionment. If you call them out, start by saying "if you respond by denying this, I won't ever be able to respect you". Of course, don't be a dick, only call them out when…

I'm going to say: raising healthy, well adjusted, children that grow to be productive/happy adults. What's this blasphemy I speaketh on /r/Threredpill?!?! The reality is kids need both mum and dad. They just do. Provided mum and dad are both decent human beings of course. Which is a bit of a stretch in today's society. Ah man. I've been in a similar situation. As odd ball as this sounds - don't waste the opportunity. Currently you have zero distractions. You could use this time to develop and learn, master new skills. Make this time all yours and have something to show for it at the end, it won't last long. I found myself homeless, written off by family, fighting my way through family court, at best one good friend and I was unemployed + disabled. I had a lot of time to myself you could say, so I used the time…

I recently did a parenting course - don't laugh, I learnt shit. Anyway, the conversations with the course instructor was that the powers that be are done with shitty parenting. Cool. She also otherwise implied that single mothers are the best parents at producing the worst children. I did this course off my own back (family court case coming up) and like the anger management course I did, I was told I don't need to be there. Essentially I believe the tide is turning for feminism in my country (A…

The only thing that creeps me out about sluts is STDs. I've survived a lot of shit, from bike crashes and knife fights right through to being shot at. I don't want to have survived all of that to be taken out by an STD. In my mind, you can't have a partner count in the 100's without catching something.

Yeah, if I'm anything to go by this might be a myth. Chilli is a huge part of my diet. I practically drink chilli sauce, grow my own chillis and make sure it's in or on most of what I eat. Love that stuff. But do you think I can grow a beard? Nope. At this point I'm considering running chilli sauce on my face in hopes of sprouting face hair.

I worked with an employer who had a rule about female employees - Never employ more than one. He said they hardly work as it is, but when there's more than one woman in the office no work gets done and sooner or later they're tying to kill each other. I've worked in a female dominated industry, women are animals to each other. Not taking sides is extremely good advice.

I have a mate who once work for the department of housing here in Queensland. Managed the properties available to low income "families". He tells me that they are now using a system to disperse the low income families rather than put them all in one neighborhood. He explained the governments aim was that if the low income families were exposed to upper/middle class families it might encourage change for the lower income household. The catch was that it meant purchasing more expensive properties,…

I can understand your stress. But, at the same time you need to understand you're contributing to it by putting all this energy into changing a guy who may not want to be changed. It'll end badly for you both if you keep trying to fashion the man you want out of the man you've got. It'll end worse for any children you bring into the world also. So, keep it in your pants until you get square with yourself first. If I need to sort an issue with anybody I'm in a relationship with, personal or busin…

If somebody "wrongs me" I confront them, in person. I ask them why and if it was worth it, I don't tell them it hurt or damaged me I just explain to them that I have no trust or loyalty to them anymore. If they've damaged something of mine I make them pay. I just can't imagine ignoring it let alone planning revenge or anything silly like that. I haven't had a situation where I was duped at work, but even then I'd still call them out if it ever happened.

Same thing happened to me champ. LTR of three years, agreed from the get go we didn't want kids. When the relationship wasn't going her way, and all of her attempts to manipulate me failed, she "miraculously" fell pregnant. One ovary AND birth control = miracle birth alright. Love my daughter though. And, most of the anger toward her mother has faded.... still wouldn't trust her fully now even though we're no longer together. TLDR; assume 100% of women lie about contraception.

I've only got one arm - can't drive stick (yet). But, as a deterrent I have a car that has horribly stiff suspension and roll bars, has firm seats, sharper steering and generally a bit of a work out to drive... if you're some chick wanting to run down the shop for a fresh can of face paint.

Voice of experience here (though no longer in an LTR) - and this is just my opinion - but chicks move shit around and can't do laundry for shit. Most guys I talk to have a wife/partner who will "clean" shit into oblivion. Put your keys down - FOOF - they're gone. Finally figured out how she has organized the kitchen? Nope, can't find a fork. Here's my tip. I ignore 90% of what's said by women. I just literally ignore it. How do I do this you ask? I pretend I'm hard of hearing. It's not that don't hear what they're saying. I just choose to not offer a response... of any kind whatsoever. If they press for a response I just tell them I didn't here them, or if they're a bitch I say I filter out bullshit. If I'm a little drunk, or just not wanting to deal with their shit, I just say "what?" "WHAT? I can't hear you!" Then quietly say "yea…

As a laugh, I hope this whole feminist movement is part of a huge - long running - program of "problem - reaction - solution". Society will eventually say "ENOUGH" and just saw off all the inequalities to prevent producing generation after generation of non-productive and wasteful citizens. But. The reality is - in my opinion - that no change will occur until it starts effecting the bottom line of some corporation.

Whenever I get "you're such a nice guy" type compliments, I pause and smile slowly while shaking my head. And I say "one of the easiest things for a human to do is convince everybody he is dangerous", and I look them dead in the eye and say "it takes skill to convince everybody you're harmless". Then laugh. So far this has worked quite often for me. Both to fire up a woman's imagination, put off bitches and to get some douche bag to back off. This, plus - if you have time - volunteer work. It keeps you busy, opens you up to more networks and looks good on your resume. Sure, it sucks working for free and I'm not advocating you do six months unpaid work at one place. I did a "month on, month off" with a few places around my town. Also, push your comfort zone. For example, I worked with the disabled for a couple of years during a break away from my cushy desk job. Something completely off the wall, and not something my peers would have …

Not fat, not not thin. Not muscle bound, but not scrawny. Not ugly, but don't have movie star looks. I'm not sure why this is a big deal? Unless you're at the bad end of the "poor genetics" spectrum, in which case what can you do? Aside from getting physically fit and dressing well. I always figured being ugly (as defined by your peers) would free up time to focus on developing your personality and gaining power/status. Above and beyond what would be expected.

This might apply to be, pushing 40 and single. Am I lonely? No. But, I value time to myself more than sharing my time with others. Plus, I have a disability that I manage best in my own space. I might be missing the point, but my response to "why are there so many abusive men" is to point out that we're dealing with a generation of men raised by women. Women who, 99% of the time, have huge issues with men and project those issues onto their male offspring. OP makes a valid point regarding victimhood, and also the lack of accountability placed on women today.

Yeah. The anger directed at not dating fat chicks is purely an Internet thing. I've put this question to women personally and they agree - fat chicks are disgusting, guys shouldn't date them. The one thing they do get defensive over is tall chicks. Apparently, it's the tall chicks who miss out. I'm not making this up, and I'm not sure how it works. It's just the opinion of half a dozen women I've put the question to "fat chick + short dude". They all go "yuck fat chicks" and go on a rant about "…

x 1000 THIS! This is my approach with texting. I hate texting (having one arm) so I avoid as much as possible. If I receive a text that warrants a response longer than a single sentence I call the woman. When I text it's short, and I NEVER ask questions - I TELL her what's going on if it's about a date/hook up. The same with flirting via text messages, or sending outright dirty text messages - they're all about what I WILL do to her, and how I WILL do it to her. This approach weeds out the flaky…

It demonstrates a lack of control over your language and your emotions.... in my humble opinion. I mean, I use filthy language in the bedroom, and amongst mates. But, if I'm debating something I feel is important I find dropping the cuss words sends a clear message that it's all business. That you're messing with somebody smarter than the average bear. Which is not to say that I think I'm super intelligent, just in control of myself. If dropping the f-bomb is working for you, keep it up.

I was very recently in a meeting that challenged me. It was emotional because it was associated with my son. It was challenging because it was me, three women and a loud mouthed white knight beta who had arrived at the meeting with a preconceived outcome. I had a talk with my Dad about something similar last night. He made the point of saying that kids are educated for the benefit of "the corporation" and at no point taught how to live - as in manage household budgets, function as a family unit or raise a healthy child, or the fundamentals of being a decent human. My take is that bad parenting is the source of bad kids and society just keeps patting bad mothers on the back. The problem shows no sign of going away in a hurry. The skills are not be…

Separating families instantly doubles your profits. Two homes, two refrigerators, two cars and so on. Having a system like feminism ensures you're doubling your profits for a long time yet. Get him away from her. Not in a nasty way, just get him out and surrounded by other right thinking men. Camping, hunting or something to remind him that he is a man, not a doormat. Just a theory. I think they hit an age, or mindset, where they need a "I'm in control of my life" display. You know; "I'm all grown up look at me play house". This is easier with the beta provider. Plus, as the biological clock dictates it's time to squeeze out a baby to impress their friends with. This is also easier, more easily controlled, with a beta provider. Fifteen years in family court and the fact destructive behaviour in the mother was not only condoned but encouraged. Two groundless domestic violence orders. Not source per se, but my personal experience in Australian Family Court, over a period of 8 years, was that the mother can, and at times is encouraged to, make false claims. The idea apparently is to slow the process of the case through the system, and exhaust the fathers funds. When the claims are made by the mother they ARE taken seriously even without evidence or prior history. For comparison, I made evidenced based claims and was ignored. Blatantly. Even worse, one time I "rolled with the p…

Money + lawyer + being smart enough not to play her games = improved chances. This is my personal experience. As the legal process moves along, and if it looks like she is cornered, prepare to have the volume turned up on the "crazy". Also, in Australia at least, the family court system is extremely demoralizing. Get a good circle of friends. You're going to need a support network to stop you from giving up or doing something you might regret. Good luck.

My view is that men do have a genuine reason to be afraid. A false accusation or being provoked enough to retaliate or even acting in self defense can ruin a mans life. It's one of my fears that's for sure. I think mostly about not being able to get a job if I had a criminal history, and the social stigma. And how all of that would affect the relationship I have with my children. There's a lot to lose potentially. Added to that is the fact there's a biased legal system that could see me done and…

The Australian calculation for child support takes into account the income of both parents - called combined income. They then have figures that represent the average cost of a child according to their age and how much of that combined income is then spent on the child. Example; a family earning a combined income of over $100k would spend more of this income on their child compared to a low income family. On paper it seems fair, though I do believe the figures are pretty high, my concern is with…

Well. I'm not going to be a smart arse about it, and I'm not going to get hot under the collar. But I'll be challenging the counselor a list and any advice given that appears too biased. What sucks is I'M the one that went about organizing the counseling. Now there that fear I'm the one who will be the uncaring, uncompromising, woman hater who needs half his toys taken away. So now I'm thinking I should just try "work it out" with the GF... but, I honestly think it needs a referee.
/r/MensRights17/12/12 12:36 PM

No. I missed out on the Couples Counseling Sample Bag. I'm going to give it a shot though. If the counselor turns out to be a dud... I don't know. Continue to but heads with the GF until something clicks, cracks or breaks. I just need to be sure it's dead, irreparable or at least to get both the GF and I to acknowledge what really needs to be done. Like overhauling an engine, pull it apart to find all the broken bits and then determine there's enough in the budget to repair it or just replace it…

Okay. Easy does it champ. I posted thus because apart from the obvious daily prejudices I face, as a dude in a woman's world, I really haven't been confronted with material like this. It was like "holy shit, Reddit might be right.... they should see this!". But, I sort of understand where you're coming from. So here's what I'll do; I'll do what I can to post something positive, and you can look away when you see something you don't like. Sound fair? Great. Now lets shake hands and share a beer.
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:42 AM

I'm going to question this list in particular when I'm giving the counselor a few rounds of the room next. I'll pass on your opinion. :P
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:37 AM

I agree. It's never been all that clear why women want men to be more like women and then complain once they have achieved that goal. Any clues to what's going on here? Is this a new thing?

I wasn't issued any paperwork no. Does it make me nervous? Hell yes! The attitude of "you change, I don't have to" is pretty much how the GF sees a lot of things. Not everything though, fortunately. Unfortunately there's no consistency to it. A lot of the time it doesn't bother me. But, she's currently very keen to "buy a house together".... together.... together. Sorry, just replaying that reoccurring nightmare I've been having lately. Counseling I think should work. It may take a few counselor…
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:28 AM

Oh man, do I feel your pain. Communication with my missus involves steering all conversation around how things affect her, or her opinion on something. I shut off a lot. Not just because any conversation is " her" orientated, but because I don't need to listen to ten minutes of "Bla Bla bla" just to get an answer that's one sentence long. All those words just seem... useless and annoying .

THIS! This I'm going to try! THANK YOU!
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:17 AM

Damn. Sorry to hear. But, yeah, counseling makes me nervous to. If I had to say what I believe my GF's issue is, I'd say it just her inability to accept fault in herself. Whether its blatantly obvious or not. If at some point you get her to acknowledge fault in herself it's your fault or the fault of somebody else. It used to be frustrating but now it's almost fun - my logic versus her delusion. At this stage I've got it so any of her faults are caused by everybody but me.

Well, the GF handed it to me after her session with the counselor. There's quite a few pages to it all. That list just kinda irritated me.
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:05 AM
2

Whoa. That was profound. Thank you. I'm trying my best to keep a level head about this... but, yeah, I'm edgy. Counseling is just me trying to be practical (proactive?) while at the same time hopefully getting the GF to just adjust a little. We do have a young daughter together and I'm just keen to see her grow up with a set of skills that see her being a good woman later in life. You know, do everything I can before throwing in the towel. The GF is... not sooo bad. I've had worse.
/r/MensRights17/12/12 07:04 AM

That sounds good. But, this is our second round at counseling. The first time was a male counsellor - well qualified. Catch is the missus conveniently omitted a few facts that would otherwise indicate fault in herself. Needless to say I raised the issue, firmly and loaded with facts, in the session and was immediately the bad guy. Sneaky move I thought. Now the missus wants to give it another shot. I threatened to leave, she was getting that difficult. I can't say that the counselor is biased, o…
/r/MensRights16/12/12 11:57 AM

Yeah... yeah, she should be. Currently the biggest relationship issue is communication and honesty though. My missus does those awesome mind tricks to avoid guessing up to any fault of her own. This has killed the trust and put the the communication on hold. But, I'm giving it a shot, now, before I get too far into this to get royally screwed at a later date. I do this now, confirm it won't work, and I'll only get kinda screwed.
/r/MensRights16/12/12 11:49 AM

Well... I didn't get any bits of paper. Zip. I had my one on one with the counsellor lady and was sent on my way. The missus? Shit, she got a whole box of tricks and tips, links to websites and reams of paper. Next session I go to I'm wearing my prosthetic vagina.

That I could agree with.
/r/MensRights02/12/12 10:39 AM

Okay. Maybe I worded that with a little too much bias. Ego defense mechanism is a new term for me. But, I think I know what you mean - "I'm right because I am always right". And I'm pretty sure that you can eventually convince a male of his error without any fallout using logic and reason. In my experience bringing a woman's error to attention is... tricky. I guess I'm trying to say that "ego defense mechanisms" are a common feature in society, but the are more pronounced in women do to the "sup…
/r/MensRights02/12/12 10:32 AM

I believe women are capable of convincing themselves that any action they take, good or bad, is justified. If they commit an act that's deemed "wrong" by their peers they have a full deck of excuses to off load their responsibility with. Their attitude is ingrained in them by society.

/r/MensRights26/11/12 07:58 PM

True. But, surely it would have come to an end if certain men were gaining from it also. I mean, if it wasn't doubling some CEO's profit, or doubling some politicians votes it would have come to an end.
/r/MensRights26/11/12 09:55 AM

Limit and/or audit their spending.... spending opportunities. Geez, sorry, that sounds a little too totalitarian. I mean, audit and monitor the spending of any money provided to them that's been allocated to the care of the children in the care. Meaning child support and any government entitlements. If spending habits indicate the funds are not being used appropriately then the avenues for spending be limited. As in some sort of "groceries/healthcare" credit card type arrangement? Maybe be proac…

Been there chief. It's painful. I did it for fourteen years, jumped through family court hoops and dodging BS obstacles presented by the mother. My last bout of court really took it out of me, and my new wife. I promised myself I wouldn't go back. Presently preparing to go back.... Just remember you're still human. If you can't take a break, pace yourself. Make sure you're in a good state of mind for each round.
/r/MensRights04/08/12 11:38 AM

I think movies like this (if there any others like it) are more about the woman getting what she wants and society being okay with it. Not so much about branding men sexually driven animals. Sure the spin on the movie is the boy getting an older lady. But it conditions society both ways; ignore sexual assault by women and condone sexual assault/aggression by women. Just my perspective.

DNA results are in - he's my son. Not sure how to explain how I feel about it. A result either way had positive and negative effects so I feel the same. Relieved he is my son, but not so happy that it means I'm in for more crazy.

/r/MensRights08/04/11 09:23 PM

I'll keep you posted. As for sticking my dick in crazy, I'm beginning to think I should be a divining rod for the insane asylum. That or I have an uncanny ability to drive women completely batshit crazy. Like a superpower.
/r/MensRights07/04/11 09:30 PM

I've had two "Domestic Violence Orders" from the same woman. First for daring to question my paternity in regard to our son and request a DNA test - over the phone. The second was after she entered my home uninvited and refused to leave. That last one I used some pretty foul language though, so it may have been warranted. Bearing in mind though, this girl was letting the abuse fly as well. Same woman then began making harassing phone calls - some threats but mostly abuse. I went to the police to…

My experience with women in the workplace is this; one is okay. But, if you get two or more you get problems. Either lower productivity from the female workers, or, entrenched bitch warfare between the female workers. I had an employer explain this to me once - as to why he only ever employs one female at a time. Ever since, I've noticed in places I've worked his theory holds true. Further to that, I had a superior officer in the army (years ago) explain they don't let women run things because t…

Then you were one of the lucky ones. Not every case is a cakewalk like yours. Or, we're not all built like you. I dont think I like the "scorched earth" option either. But, at some point a tough decision has to be made. I mean, would a daughter want and empty shell of a man for a father? And... you've been through this before right? If so, offer some advice instead of flaming the others that do.

The Australian system requires that the custodial parent have the permission of the non-custodial parent before leaving a state. Failing a that the issue is presented to a court and a decision is made as to the best interests of the child. At least this is how it is in Queensland. Having parents report/prove they're spending time with their children could be difficult. Or, difficult when either parent is granted a greater control over the other. As it is now. With Mum (for example) being the maj…
/r/MensRights02/02/11 08:28 AM

I like this idea. Its extreme, but some days you've got to wonder if its the only workable option. Tests would be what though? Psychological for sure, as in if you're seen to be a danger to the child/society. After that you'd have to test the relationship of the parents - to see if they had the coping skills to manage having a child together. Beyond that? Intelligence testing? What about genetic testing? You see, the danger with testing is where to draw the line. I have no issue with policing bi…
/r/MensRights02/02/11 07:35 AM

Some of the issues could be overcome with simplification - without using a "one size fits all" approach. But, at the same time having a baseline, so that everybody is well aware of the expectation on them as parents. Hopefully in such a way that even before they become parents they're well aware of what's ahead. As for abuse, I'd hope to see a more proactive approach. Starting in schools, teaching children of empathy and the importance of having both parents there for children. Even though that …
/r/MensRights02/02/11 07:27 AM

Court order detailing contact? It may need to be policed, maybe not. The danger I see in this is the custodial parent withholding contact in retaliation to missed contact by the non-custodial parent. Where the non-custodial parent becomes the baby sitter and a punishment is administered when their assumed "responsability" isnt met. But, I believe that this "tit for tat" kind of behaviour needs to be identified and suitably dealt with. Once again to set an example, and for the benefit of the chil…

DNA tests should be mandatory when the "parents" aren't in a properly recognised relationship. As in, no child support paid, and no government aid, until the paternity of the child has been properly identified. And, DNA tests should be optional - and NOT needing the mothers consent - in other relationships.

Well, thats not helping. Just do your bit in up-voting/down-voting where needed. If everybody did this r/mensrights will improve.
/r/MensRights02/02/11 04:13 AM

I had this theory (may only work in Australia); If a woman falls pregnant and applies for government aid, the amount she is entitled to is dependent on the child having a father in the child life. If the mother is not going to allow the father in the child's life then she receives less government aid. I believe this system would work well with child support also. If mum doesnt want dad in the childs life then she obviously doesnt want financial support either. Now, people will be quick to say "b…

Well, in short I agree. But with the following conditions; 1 - Lists female offenders as well as males 2 - Guilt has been proven without doubt. 3 - Not for a period of time after final hearing. Allowing time for the defendant to pursue a further avenue of appeal. For example, details aren't listed until two years after official conviction. 4 - Detail how the defendant was found guilty. DNA evidence or multiple, credible, witnesses and so on. 5 - Victims sex and age listed. 6 - Punishment is list…

They're envious of how the "hot chick" exerts greater control over men with her sexuality. Ugly feminists are usually screaming for hot cawk, and screaming for greater/easier control over men. I propose a science experiment to test my theory. Volunteers?

WOWZERS! This is beginning to sound unbelievably awesome!! Is a hundred bucks going to cut it though, or are you going to pimp me out to afford the diaper habit? Don't get me wrong, I fine with being pimped out - for the right price. I just need to know you've got my back when things get ugly with a john that's all. I bruise easy.
