Absolutely! That’s what annoyed me the most; him going around pretending like I kept pursuing him when he knows well some months later the incident I started seeing someone else regularly, out of work. A friend of mine told me he actually went around inventing stuff. 😩

Thanks! I will definitely write the e-mail. My boss said he won’t talk to the guy because he’s known him longer than me and “knows” he won’t be receptive. We are closed during the weekends and on Monday we’ve got a holiday bank. Your comment has been very, very helpful. Thanks so much for it.

His friend actually told me, so I made a few subtle moves (messaging him with clearly stupid excuses, smiling, saying hi, sitting next to him at lunch...) Nothing. Head down, flustered. One of his other friends said I turn him (shy guy) on that’s “why”. 🤷🏻‍♀️😅
