Women are usually socialized to avoid direct confrontation or rejection. So they use deflection or phrasing to minimize the risk of conflict by saying something demeaning or insulting. It never matters to me, I just shrug and move on, there's a billion other broads out there.

Respectfully, I think you're conflating red pill knowledge and pickup artist philosophy. The latter always encourages a guy to chase sex, and tries to explain away the awkward reality that women possess all the power to get a guy destroyed by the police state (false sexual assault claims, etc.) and the marriage-industrial complex (divorce and family courts). The former simply explains the issues and lets you make your own informed choice regarding the level of risk that you choose to take (going…

Probably abject misery...but it depends on your specific physical injury or condition. You can try a back brace, but unless you get a cruiser with a seat that you can lean back into, you're in real trouble for any long rides.

"The former wife of Amazon’s billionaire CEO had inherited $36.8 billion after her split from Bezos in 2019." That's not "inheritance" it's division of assets. But it's oddly appropriate here, since she inherited money that SHE NEVER EARNED.

Condolences, brother, I'm sorry for your loss. Cherish those memories of your times together. I'd have given anything to have a relationship like yours with my father, but sadly he was psychologically a terribly broken person. You are a lucky man, although it probably doesn't feel that way right now.

Where else are you supposed to ride, the sidewalk? Bicycles are usually considered vehicles, and are supposed to stay to the side of the road, but except in cities/towns, they have to ride in the road because there's nowhere else.

Stay at home order is only nine hours of the day: "As part of her sentence, she will have to be inside her home between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m." I do that NOW! How in the hell is that a punishment?

You're so right. I never expected it, but I'm divorced, in my mid-60s and have been in a relationship with a good looking woman a decade and a half younger for the past five years. She knows that marriage is off the table, that I won't tolerate any BS, and appreciates my knowledge and guidance (women on their own have zero financial intelligence). WHY would I date a woman MY age, with their lousy, unappreciative attitudes and controlling personalities?

What's the appropriate length of grieving for a relationship that ends? Isn't a common phrase in the manosphere: Who cares least, wins. We've all become commodities (especially men) - - when something is no longer of value to you, you discard and replace it. Stop thinking emotionally, this is the post-romantic age.

And as of the moment, it's back down to $0.52 - - hopefully nobody got too crazy throwing money at it and had to cash out at the low.

It's simple, really: Women are almost always act utilitarians. However, their only focus is on themselves, not the effect on others or the world as a whole, so they assess all "morality" (good/bad) based upon what results in a good outcome for them. Think of it as absolute selfishness. Most of them just hide it well. https://iep.utm.edu/util-a-r/

Hang in there, brother. It's a tough road, but you're navigating it well. Hate is corrosive and poisonous, if you hold it within you it will kill you, so free yourself and let it go. Indifference is freeing. Create new, better memories until they crowd out all the old crap. You don't have to forgive her, just forget her.

We should re-label SMV as FMV (Fertility Market Value), so women could carry on deluding themselves about their attractiveness, without it being tied to their overall value as women or human beings. That way, maybe they'd actually acknowledge that all their eggs have turned to dust, without sidetracking conversations onto the whole "my feelings about myself" nonsense and they could continue with the "strong, independent, don't need no man" bullshit mantra. But then, I'm an optimist...

I think that we older guys need to remember to "pay it forward" as they used to say...there are always guys in real pain on this forum, and we need to help them make it through the initial red pill rage phase, the depression, etc., and find their way through it. reading the stories of survival and success certainly - and literally - saved my life and sanity during my ordeal while going through the divorce industrial complex that seems to be aimed at destroying men. Sounds like you're on the right track. I'm in my early 60's, got crunched by the divorce grinder when I'd had enough and bailed out seven years ago. It took almost two years to finally get that final decree of divorce, and several years to recover from the financial hit, but as they say: Divorce is expensive because it's worth every penny. Men will suck it up and meet the standards...women will whine and cry and fail the standards (yet often be "pencil-whipped" and allowed to pass). Prepare to see it all the time, my young friend. I saw it happen more than I'd like to remember, in my twenty years with the U.S. Marine Corps, but thankfully the infiltration of women was much less back then. From Wikipedia: In his 1949 work The Struggle for Guadalcanal,[4] military historian Samuel Eliot Morison transcribed a Marine variant of the poem (possibly authored by James A. Donohue[5]) from the epitaph on the Lunga Point Cemetery grave of Private First Class Bill Anderson, who had died in that battle: And when he goes to Heaven, To St. Peter he will tell: Another marine reporting, Sir; I've served my time in hell.

Same here. After two kids, the sex slacked off to minimum "necessary", then once the kids hit high school, it pretty much disappeared altogether. Not that I cared, at that point. I left once the kids finished college, since I couldn't bear the thought of spending the rest of my life with the (now ex-) wife. My lawyer advised against divorce, since it would be financially disastrous. I knew it was true, but I had to be free of the negativity of my spouse. It cost me a small fortune, but it was wo…

This post misses the point. Clearly, she'd already bought it for him and didn't want him to ruin the surprise by buying it for himself. Yes, this is somewhat problematic any other time of the year, but it's also why you coordinate major purchases with each other beforehand. It's guys that allow themselves to get pushed too far and have to "check with the wife" for every little purchase that have lost their perspective (and their manhood).

Maybe they won't enforce the child support order itself, but you can still be extradited for a criminal offense, and non-support IS a criminal offense (i.e., you can be jailed) in many states. Women generally dislike confrontation and want to see themselves as kind-hearted, so they usually don't want to be the one who breaks up with a guy or otherwise hurts a guy's feelings. So their response is avoidant. (For example, if they're in a relationship, they tend to ignore or provoke mistreat the guy until he can't take it any more and breaks up with her. Then she still gets to blame him for the breakup.) If you understand their nature, you know to expect it.

Excellent advice, I wish that I'd followed it. Although I had a full career (20 years), I made the mistake of marrying as a young officer. The (now ex-) wife managed to alienate the other officer's wives, and generally did everything she could to make my career progression less successful than it could have been if I'd been single. True story: My college friend knocked up his girlfriend. Her parents had lots of money, so she was going to raise the kid on her own with their help. He moved on, eventually got married and had his own kids. SIXTEEN years later, presumably after a falling out with her parents, she vindictively sues him for back child support, medical insurance costs, past expenses, etc. It went up to the Minnesota Court of Appeals, where they upheld certain payment requirements, including child support arrears. …

I saw that during the ramp-up to Desert Shield/Desert Storm, as well as the Reservists who suddenly discovered that when they signed up for the benefits, they were subject to being called to active duty and shipped out. Why perpetuate this myth that MGTOW hates women? It simply isn't true. There's a difference between understanding women's nature and hating them. Not wanting to have a relationship with them isn't the same as hating them. It's like the Christian attitude of hating the sin, not the sinner. Don't give the SJWs ammunition with this type of falsehood in the MGTOW forums.

I did twenty years in the U.S. Marine Corps, so I have some perspective, at least about one branch of the armed services. The Corps brings out who you are: For better or worse. If you're a go-getter, you'll never run out of opportunities to pursue your goals: education, training, travel, physical improvement, etc. Service isn't like the movies: Most of your time is routine, low-risk, and sometimes horribly boring. So, a 43 year old Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripol (DOB: Feb 2, 1977) and a 50 year old Jennifer Lynn Lopez (DOB: Jul 24, 1969) perform like lewd strippers at a public event, and that's "empowering"? Truly, that word no longer has any meaning. But, I gather from the laughably woman-logic article that, if a woman chooses to exploit herself, it's not "objectification"? How very reassuring that such behavior is no longer objectification or exploitation, it's merely crude and crass. I guess Granny from …

A man's value to WHOM??? How about the fact that a man's life is of intrinsic value, regardless? His life is of value to him, and to hell with all other people's demands. If he chooses to share his life with them, to provide for them, to protect them, and to give them guidance, that is HIS choice. Yes, men ARE the prize, and each man owns his own value and his choice of his life's path.

The whole idea of "credits" for your past behavior and sacrifices is completely unknown to women. It's only "What are doing for me NOW?" Why would you value the benefits provided to you by a slave? You can NEVER "make" anyone happy. Trying to appease them by bribing them (e.g., with gifts, fawning over them, doing all the chores, etc.) just trains them to demand even more. As governments are well aware: If you "tax" (punish) something, you get less of it, if you "subsidize" (reward) it, you get more of it. Why would you reward a misbehaving child by rewarding him/her? What does the initial motivation matter, if the result is an understanding of the nature of people (and especially, women) and an impetus to improve oneself?

I think that it's sad for them when they never sought meaningful improvement or self-understanding, and frittered away the gifts that they held...instead, it slipped away like sand through their fingers, never to return.

Not credit, just an acknowledgement that, though they sought to diminish me, they unintentionally provided the spark to ignite the fire of possibility that I had inside me the whole time.

Remember, when women tell you that "what's inside is what counts" or "who you are as a person is more important than what you look like" that they probably don't believe it themselves. Strive to be a better man for YOURSELF, not for others. Live your life for YOU, not for their benefit. You only get one chance at life, make it the best that you can.

What the vast majority of women do is referred to as "suicidal ideation" or "suicidal gestures",..it's not even a true suicide attempt although it's referred to that way. The vast majority of women perform a symbolic "cry for help" by downing a lot of Tylenol (trademark product, the active ingredient is acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen (Advil is the commonly known trademark product) and/or making shallow cuts on their wrists, then calling 911. Not if it hurts others' (i.e. Muslims) feelings!(https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/muslims-right-to-not-be-offended-trumps-free-speech-in-austria-says-eu). The posted picture implies that serving your country is the same as committing terrorism and supporting genocide. That's laughable, at best.

You asked for investment advice on a company that has made a minor marketing faux pas by jumping on the feminist bandwagon. The link to MGTOW is tangential, at best. This isn't an investment sub. That's not the topic of this sub, and that's all I wrote, nothing disdainful about it.

Feminism tries to give support to women pursuing the false goal of careerism. But, every woman I know who thinks about it has admitted that it's an empty life without a "partner" in her life. Yet they're pursuing the very things that push (non-wimpy) men away...and the ones who are still single after age 30 are terrified of their future.

Wikipedia: "On his radio and television show You Bet Your Life, comedian Groucho Marx often asked contestants, "Who was buried in Grant's Tomb?" The riddle is based on the use of the word "buried." The correct answer is "no one," since Grant and his wife are entombed in sarcophagi above ground in an atrium rather than being buried in the ground. However, Marx often accepted the answer "Grant," nonetheless, and awarded a consolation prize to those who gave it. He used the question, among several …

An interesting question. "President Ulysses S. Grant" is correct, but only a partial answer. People forget that Grant's wife is also "buried" there...although technically, a correct answer to the question could be "No one." Since the remains are in sarcophagi, they are not truly "buried" under the common meaning of the term (earth piled upon the bodies/caskets).

Behavioral therapy or cognitive behavioral therapy could be useful and effective, if you have a good therapist who helps you establish realistic goals and identify the problems. They're not naval-gazing BS about how mommy gave you bad toilet training or didn't hug you enough, but rather they are focused on making productive change in the person by breaking harmful thought and behavior patterns.

You're confusing MGTOW with incels. I date, but I don't cohabitate or marry. Ensuring that she works is a good point - - "hold frame" is a BS red pill mantra. You can "hold frame" all you like, but she can still use the family courts on a whim (if you're stupid enough to cohabitate/marry) and they will tear you to bits. Wow, either that guy in the right photo is a zombie or he failed to pay attention in Camouflage 101 class. (See, you darken the high areas - like cheekbones - to break up the light; and you lighten some of the darker areas - like under the brow ridge, for the same reason...being careful not to create any unnatural - non-foliage - patterns, because humans are adept at noticing patterns and spotting pairs of eyes watching them. Not to mention the absurd striped scarf, too...)

Yep, same sad boat for me, brother...the bedroom was dead for a decade before I left. (For those of you wondering: Why stay so long? I did it to ensure the kids had a sane protector around until they were old enough to get out on their own. Don't let yourself get snared into the same situation - - don't cohabitate, and for God's sake, never marry!)

Yeah, men are sexist pigs. They should be just like women, who all date/love short men for "who they are, not what they look like." Yeah, right...double standards define women's thinking. Happy hamstering!

WHY are you still in contact with an ex? (Mistake #1) WHY are you allowing her into your head? You reacted emotionally to her message, so she wins. Apple versus orange: I own both, and like them both. For carrying, I usually prefer a single-stack .380 ACP (my preference is the Beretta 85F; or my Ruger LCP w/a Crimson Trace laser, great for low-light conditions) or a lightweight revolver (mine is a five-shot Taurus .38 Special, Model 85, Ultralite), depending on what I'm wearing - - warm weather makes concealment a bit tougher. Sometimes, I'll carry the 1911 or Beretta 9mm, but they're both heavier than I prefer to carry. But these are perso…

That's what I carried (long ago) in the USMC, before they upgraded to the Beretta 9mm (also a fine handgun). You can get a used one at a reasonable price and upgrade the heck out of it as your budget allows. Darn heavy piece of steel for a concealed carry choice, but it feels very reassuring when I choose to do so.

I agree with Lord_o_the_Memes - - it's a great place to go to put your hands on guns that you think you might want to buy - - I've save some serious cash that way, discovering that the gun that I thought I wanted was NOT for me due to frame, weight, grip, or whatever. The lawyers and the court system just churn the legal fees for everything. You made this sound like a loss, but it's actually currently proceeding in a hopeful manner: John Doe was expelled from Washington and Lee University following Jane Doe’s “gray rape” charges. I've seen this argument before, but it always puzzles me. How can you NOT be in favor of the concepts of limited government, minimal intrusion of government (federal, state and local) into your personal life, and low taxation, and be MGTOW? The liberal mindset is that the government should be involved/interfere in ALL areas of a citizen's life, from cradle to grave.

Interesting comments here on the article. Yes, admittedly, it's based upon the typical bias: woman handle their emotions better and that's "good"; whereas men suppress their emotions and that's "bad." there's a kernal of truth to that claim - - suppressed emoins (or even the inability to understand one's emotions) can have terrible effects. Sometimes men have to control their emotions in order to manage the situation (accidents, emergencies, warfare, etc.), and it may be essential to maintain a …

Good recipe! I'll give it a try. Mine is quite similar, but vegetarian. The multicolored peppers make for a visually appealing dish. You beat me to it. Anyway, here's my anecdote: Went to to counseling with the wife. The first instructions from the counselor were to phrase our grievances thus: "It makes me FEEL ___ when you (action)." And, of course, you were not allowed to analyze or object to the other person's (i.e., HER) "feelings" becasue that was demeaning and destructive, regardless of how illogical or plain manipulative those claimed "feelings" were.
