He's a wannabe sociopath, much like the rock stars who are really music nerds, but engage in the most over-the-top obnoxious behavior (trashing hotel rooms, etc.) to create an outlaw, "bad boy" persona.

My friend and I went out dancing and were waiting for a bus line home at about 2:00am. Why the fuck were you out waiting for a bus at two in the morning?

John Gray is often an interesting & insightful writer/speaker, just don't expect much "red pill" truth from him. As far as what a man can gain from Gray's works — he basically teaches how to be a really good beta. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus was one of the biggest bestselling books of the 90s. Gray addresses himself mainly to plugged-in married couples. His books speak to the masses, not red pill renegades. Incidentally, some of Gray's best ideas for men are the ones about men. For e…

Love how the man is identified by his full name — including middle initial! — while the woman is identified as . . . "the woman."

A woman is also under no obligation to you or anyone to be a "hero". But I do not sit idly by while someone claims women are wrong because they refuse to play a "hero" role that you or Rand impose on them against their will. In Rand's view man is the hero, as made blatantly clear in the quote. Can't you read?

Interesting that the title is actually "Health at Every Size" (not "healthy"). I suppose virtually anyone, of any size, could be said to enjoy some degree of health, by virtue of the fact that they are alive & haven't keeled over yet. But clearly a person who weighs 500 pounds and is confined to bed, unable to physically move and suffering from diabetes & heart disease (among other things) can't be considered "healthy" by any stretch of the hamster's imagination.

Here's my prediction: Show will be on the air for a while, with low viewership/ratings. CBS will then re-jig the show (i.e., bring in some men) in an attempt to raise ratings, but it won't work. Show will then be quietly canceled...

A great example of a project undertaken solely to prove a point - "If men can do it, women can too!" I have a feeling a point will indeed be proven, when no one of either sex tunes in to watch it.

He writes like he's narrating something that affects him without his conscious input: this happened to me, then this happened to me, then this happened to me. Great observation. And the really sad thing is, this guy probably can't believe how "lucky" he is to have all these wonderful things happening in his life right now.

God, that is so Blue Pill it could have been written by a Smurf! I love when couples talk about how they were friends for such a long time before becoming romantically involved — like that proves how much they love & care about each other. More like, it proves that she is NOT very sexually attracted to him, and she settled for him only when she realized that she was out of options. Was it his choice to spend a year as "friends" before he became her boyfriend? Hell no — she "promoted" him to "boy…

Over the past year or so, I've come to understand that there is absolutely a virtue in being "persistent" with certain girls, and even a place for literal begging. One of the prominent seduction guys (I forget who) said once that he will do whatever it takes to get a girl into bed, including begging her if need be, on the idea that once she receives the most awesome sex of her life from him, the entire dynamic changes. My perspective is: Get that girl into bed by hook or by crook. Many girls are…

Here's the synopsis of that scene from WikiBooks: Rearden's mother - against Rearden's wishes that his family does not visit the mills without asking him first - comes to see him. She wants Rearden to give his skillless brother Philip a job in the steel mill. Rearden refuses because Philip can't do the work. His mother tries to manipulate Rearden by saying he only thinks of justice and has no love. To the astonishment of is mother, Rearden responds saying, "Mother, I'm running a steel plant--not…

"When I was a teen, I got drunk at a party and blew a bunch of guys in a car. I was embarrassed so the next day I made up an elaborate story about how they gang raped me. Everyone believed me." Everyone believed you? Did the police & DA believe you? Were innocent men punished/ostracized because of your lie? As an aside, the ScaryMommy website ought to be required reading for anyone — male or female — considering having children.

"Look at Me!" indeed! That poor "groom" looks like he's 17. They're going to spend the rest of their lives together... Yeah, right. It's like a scene from a high school talent showcase. It coulda been worse... He could have been singing to her!

"Blue Pill" represents mainstream thinking. It's the ideas & views which saturate Western culture with respect to men, women, sex & relationships. Easily 99% of men in the West are "blue pill." Put it another way: Do you really think that more than 1 out of 100 men in today's society are "red pill," or anything approaching Alpha? To be a red piller, you have to be willing to reject the dominant ideas of modern culture. You have to be willing to question & challenge a lot of your upbringing. You …

So many guys are in their cozy little bubble, thinking everything is fine & dandy — until one day, it isn't. I've been hearing the word "blindsided" by men who have been dumped by their wives a lot lately. It's always the same story: "I was a good boy, I did everything society expects of me. Why am I being punished?"

"You don't make me feel special" is a euphemism for "You don't rock my world sexually." The other guy makes her "feel special." I'm sure he makes he feel all kinds of things!

The OP says in comments: "In a lot of ways I feel like I went to bed with a man and woke up with a boy. A lovely, kind-hearted boy, but a boy nonetheless." That "lovely, kind-hearted boy" — for whom straight women feel zero sexual attraction — is exactly what modern feminism seeks to turn men into.

How much do you want to bet that the guy who pressed up against the woman on the subway & stuck his hand down his pants was a homeless bum? But no, "men" are responsible for this sort of thing. That's what's so reprehensible about this kind of propaganda - they use the actions of lowlifes to smear all heterosexual men.

I love the term "pathetic friend." He's your friend, but he's pathetic. You claim to "love" him, but what you actually feel for him is a mixture of pity & contempt.

Indoctrination of any kind is a bad thing. It's one thing for a seven year-old to say in response: "Mrs. Bird shouldn't talk to her husband that way. She isn't very nice." Or maybe: "Why does Mr. Bird put up with her treating him that way?" But when a seven-year old talks about the male in a relationship leading, and indicates that a man should be the primary decision-maker, it really does sound like he's espousing Red Pill concepts — which frankly are too advanced for a child of that age to und…

More and more, it seems, black men are becoming feminized/betaized. As Roosh put it in a recent post: "If there’s one race in America that you could count on to be hypermasculine, it was black men. This is coming to an end. The younger black men are becoming more feminized or just outright turning to homosexuality." http://www.rooshv.com/16-things-i-realized-about-washington-dc I think the epidemic of single mamas has a lot to do with it. Ya'll gotta understand, these are the guys who gave up long ago on landing 8s, 9s, and 10s. They either convince themselves that the 5s are really what they want, or that they're too good to lower themselves by "learning game" or whatever. Chateau Heartiste has a great article on this — http://heartiste.wordpress.com/2012/10/09/i-didnt-need-game-to-land-my-wife/ I love the line: "Voila!, an 'I didn’t need game to land my wife' anti-gamer is born from the wreckage of his surrendered dreams."

In this video, he talks about his sexuality, and identifies as (mostly) straight, though he doesn't like to "put a label on it": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GsebF4JgJts OK, so let's assume the guy is straight. He's mainly into girls. Maybe he has some attraction for males, but mostly he's heterosexual. This guy is in a truly tragic position, being as effeminate & feminized as he is. When I'm working, I refuse to flirt. If someone tries, it becomes an endless roast. I'll say, 'Nice beard, buddy' or 'You look fancy!' I know he's spent an hour doing that specific thing to his hair, and the minute I point it out, his game is shattered."
