100% if she had a knife on her there she would have used it. She was completely absorbed in her "righteous fury" which was entirely not warranted. Subduing someone is good if you are alone. When they obviously have back up you need to be ready to defend yourself from the second attack. Honestly I have been attacked by women before and I didn't retaliate so I can't say I'd act different to the guy in the video but I think as an outside observer a seriously hard slap (not a punch) just to show her…

It gets worse. The 5'5 skinny guy will jot be expected to fight back. But it would be accepted if he did. If the 5'5 skinny guy happened to be a bootneck who could handle himself and actually knock out the huge guy, the huge guy then gets attacked by online knobheads or onlookers for being beaten by a little dude. Whatever we do, we can't win.

Its actually ridiculous that society has pushed the agenda that a man can't defend himself from aggression against a women because shes fragile while ghe sane society has pushed the agenda that we are inherently equal. This is the sort of post any women who says they want equality should be up in arms about. The silence is deafening.

The best bit of advice I have for scared people in general and it works for children of all ages is thay bravery is not the absence of fear, everybody gets scared, bravery is being scared and still doing what you jave to do. The more scared you are of something that you do, the braver you are. "Daddy, I was brave" melts your heart.

A few years ago someone called me ugly, in a very matter of fact way. I remember that day and think about it sometimes. When I do it makes me sad still. I met an estranged family member recently and their daughter said I was handsome, like a disney prince. I kind of think kids are the arbiters of truth as they are not socially conditioned to make people feel good. I think about that alot more now. I also started to sing songs in the street and be friends with talking animals. Kind words mean so …

Well it didn't. You asked a series of questions that I answered calmly. That isn't an escalation sweetheart. Thank you, you literally made me laugh so hard I spat out my beer. Firstly find me a contract that stipulates accused sexual harrassment as a clause that means they lose their contracted rights and revert to a basic employment contract. Secondly find me any precedence that says anyone accused of sexual harrasment is employed on the same terms and conditions of anyone else accused but not concvicted. Ive been on the news a few times. Yes I get away with loads because of status, for example I have diplomatic immunity in many countries and have killed people without legal repercussions. You argued that my perosnal opinion was self righteous and was not equality, even though the treatment was demonstrably equal, now you are arguing that my personal opinion in regards to equality doesn't count if it isn't relevant to the masses. You have moved the goal posts because your argument was totally hor…

Except an employee on a different contract shoots that out the window. All famous people have individual contracts. If I can prove in court, based on contract law which is super regimented, that they fulfilled a different role and had differing responsibilities then the civil rights act in egards to equal treatment for equal employment will not count. As they arent employed on equal terms. I mean, thats me using my UK masters in Law, it may be different in the US if you have case law to back it …

Public opinion exactly. And 50% of people hate them when they treat men badly. Yes they will look at their audience and decide what is the best strategy. It's disgusting but it doesnt contradict my point that they dont have to treat an individual one way because they treated another one that way, which was my argument.

Thank you, I think with the focus of the media spotlight shifting now is the time when we need to be exemplary. Ive given you an opinion which you think is incorrect for reversing the trend, inspite of the evidence of a change in public perception. You have got a "high level of confidence" it is the wrong method, yet you have no evidence that your method is correct. You are talking specifically about rape claims in a discussion about accused sexual assualt by a public figure and the public reaction to it. I will have a great day, as I am not an angry person like you are.

Thats not what the petty comments indicated to me, hence my post. Rather than demand these people continue their incorrect behaviour towards accused men, with women, why not allow them to use this example that will highlight their hypocrisy, to realise it may be wrong, and next time its a man they may not do it? I'd rather everyone have the chance to improve their behaviour in this type of cirmcumstance than forcing people to maintain incorrect attitudes.

"Accused". Innocent untill proven guilty. Just as all men should be. We shouldn't be out there forming an internet lynch mob simply because thats what angry feminists do when men are accused. We should be better and follow due process.

Only 8% of Brits call themselves feminist IIRC. Being around 50% women, these 2 stats combined really shows that peopow can separate modern "feminism" from people actually wanting equality. I'm glad.

Because you asked me if there was anything else, polite people reply to direct questions. You mean you use a defintion that isn't actually a defintion, and is actually contrary to the defintion so you can hurl incorrect words at people as some sort of pseudo insult? So where was I intolerant to something that wasn't a choice? Id love to see.

No need to apologise at least you have learnt something and thats always a good thing. Feminists is a collective term for the group of people who self identity as a feminist and is not an individual moniker. A feminist is an individual who identifies as such. I can see where the subtle difference tripped you up so don't worry. It happens to the best. Now as you can see, now you are properly armed with the information, I never reffered to this women (your words) as a feminist. What I did was nake…

But I didn't. Where does it say she is a feminist? Read it again. I say Feminists, how can she be the plurality as an individual. What has happened is I used a random picture of someone I took and crafted an argument that says feminists that say A act like B. Never, ever, did I imply, infer or say this person was an anything. I see you disregarded my argument about cherrypicking completely...funny that. That will be used on many, many places to demonstrate ridiculous arguments. So thank you!

Haha yet I have formed a rational coherent argument as to why I never said she was a feminist and therefore am not editorisling a random picture I took myself and you ignored it. That is the literal defintion of bigotry. bigotry /ˈbɪɡətri/ noun intolerance towards those who hold different opinions from oneself. Why are you apologising because you think woman scare me? Do you think uts shameful to be scared of woman? Is that because you belive they are inherently inferior? That is an awful postion to hold. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Firstly all words are cherrypicked. I dont allow some random app to input words and re-arrange them to make the best facsimile of my acrual point Saying my argument is wrong because I picked the words myself is literally the most riduculous argument I have ever heard on reddit and that is an incredible achievement. Not at all I claimed self identified feminsits who espouse the opinion man spreading is a mysoginistic product of the patriachy act like this. At no point did I say this anonymous person had espoused that opinion, was a self indentified feminist or attribute her actions to feminism. I simply pointed out a feminist hyprocisy using a random picture. You are wrong and you should be ashamed of yourself for acquiescening to the brigading minority.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 01:30 PM

I see you Can't disagree with my position so have resorted to further personal attacks. Bigotry is the intolerance of other peoples opinion. My opinion was this person shouldn't have their bag on a chair. Their opinion was its acceptable. I did not remove her bag or tell her to, ergo I tolerated her opinion. Tell me, objectively angry person who keeps insulting me because I disagree with them, who is the bigot?
/r/MensRights10/07/19 01:24 PM

Exactly, plural. This individual cannot be "feminists". She might be one, I don't know, I never said she was. I said people who are feminists say what I posted in regards to manspreading and then act like this. See the difference? I do, but I dont get super offended everytime someone points out my hyporcisy, probably because I am not a hypocrite.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 01:22 PM

I said feminists. This is a singular human, she cannot be a plurality. As such my post makes no attribution of feminism to this specific human. It simply uses an anonymous picture of someone to humorously highlight a hypocritical position that self identifed feminists (plural) have taken.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 01:18 PM

You are spending time on it sooooooo........ I didn't say she was a feminist. Please stop assuming gender and social positions, it is offensive.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 01:02 PM

Standards are good. Applying them incorrectly due to birgading is not. Saying I am editorialising as a reason to remove is patently incorrect. Where do I claim she is a feminist?
/r/MensRights10/07/19 12:59 PM

You don't even have an example of me being inconsiderate to use as a reason why her being inconsiderate is acceptable. Brigade somewhere else bitch.
/r/MensRights10/07/19 12:53 PM

Nothing in my post suggested she was. I suggested feminists say and do this. Had I said "this feminist" you would have a point. This individual cannot be "feminists" as its plural. As such its very obvious my post is a critique on feminists thay do this, not on this individual, using an anonymous picture for effect. Poor effort mod. I see you have bowed to the recent influx of people with the same boring argument.

So you have just raised your voice as a human in a manner in which they nie feel threatned, while assuming their gender in order to sit next to them. Smart. It is 100% trashy in any circumstances to store your bag on a seat intended for a custimer whne the bus has specifically designed bag storage. I disagree entirely, but I have manners. People do it on purpose because they know people will sit next to someone else, rather than ask that two seat using one seat paying person. Its selfish. Some people are very anti confrontational and should not penalised, forced to stand or to engage in conversation that they find uncomfortable, because of someone being selfish. We should look at including everyone equally in society and this initial actiom immediatley precludes a subset of people.

/r/MensRights30/03/19 06:06 PM

I'm just pointing out that your idea that it isnt bad to put words on my mouth because your belief is implication is a less strong version of assertion, is demonstrably incorrect and as such you should not use that as an excuse for your behaviour.

A statement of fact is not an implication. To say someone implies something after thay have stated something as a fact, is incorrect. Imply doesn't mean a less stronger tone of assertion. assertion /əˈsəːʃ(ə)n/ noun a confident and forceful statement of fact or belief. You cant have a less strong form of assertion. Christ it was like 3 posts ago...you really need this spoonfeeding? I'll repeat myself as you are incapable of looking at a previous post it seems. "So what evidence do you have of cultural, not individual proclivity, of meme hypocrisy in the realm of domestic violence?"

You think it's an obsession for someone to point out once you are using a word wrong then explain why its wrong when they say it isn't? You used the word modest as an incorrect explanation of why you think it's an assumption to believe what someone stated as a fact is their opinion. You keep making mistakes and instead of admitting them, make further mistakes trying to cover them up. I'm happy to continue the discussion based on your version of events. So go on...
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:42 PM

It isn't modesty to take a statement of fact someone said and pretend they only implied something. If someone says "I believe in god" It isn't modest by any defitnion of the word to say publicly "that person is implying they believe in god" And then when challenged say "I didn't want to make an assumption" It's called being disengenous.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:42 PM
1

That's what you think you meant. However out if context what you actually said is it doesn't surprise you that you not understanding doesn't suprise me. You are admitting that you being unable to understand something is a situation that should be expected. Lol
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:37 PM

The outcome is the same, I'll pretend you didn't day it, you believe you didn't say it. So go on....
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:34 PM

modest /ˈmɒdɪst/ adjective unassuming in the estimation of one's abilities or achievements. Nothing in the defintion of modest explains why you would ignore a declarative statement and say it was an implication. A statement isnt an achievement or an ability and its demonstrably obvious that I made a statement, not an implication.

Sorry I have no idea what that is supposed to mean.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:26 PM

No I dont regularly take screenshots of posts. I however know what it said, and that you only decided to take that tact in arguing after it was changed. You dont have to admit it, I dont have to prove it. You can say you didn't. I can say you did. I dont want you to have said it either way so it's not an emotional based argument, I know which way you said it, so its factually based.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:26 PM
1

Yes and that's not the part I disagreed with, it's the part when you made a statement that it's part if their culture.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:24 PM
1

It wasnt an implication.. I literally said this isn't an issue. You decided to argue that someone may hypothetically and hypocriticaly disagree if the meme was reversed. You think that if this happened, even though there is no proof it is, is indicative of a cultural issue yet are unable to provide the reason you came to this conclusion. So show me this culture in which women are happy to make male focused domestic violence memes and are simultaneously probably offended by female focused domesti…
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:24 PM

Yep settled, you say you didn't edit your post. I say you did. We have an impasse. I literally addressed every point you made. It's right above. Read again.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:18 PM
1

Lol you didn't clear it up, you tried and failed to explain why you think it was ok to make a statement about a culture without any evidence. Your whole argument is predicated on the baseless assumption this nameless woman would find it offensive the other way round, once again with 0 evidence and 100% emotion. It appears a theme is appearing with you.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:17 PM
0

Then there is no reason to clarify. I know what I mean and everyone else reading knows what I mean. If your sure you didn't edit anything, no clarification is needed. Care to respond to the rest?
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:13 PM
1

They aren't my standards. Evidentiary standards exist. I have asked what evidence made you form an opinion, you can just post that. Your making it very obvious you dont really have any and don't want to admit you made an emotional statement that has no basis in fact.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:13 PM
0

No we all know what you said and what you edited. We arent stupid. I am also expecting some proof that it is any part of their culture. Yet you dont seem to be able to provide it. It is a none issue. An individual making a poor taste joke in a private forum that is sexist when people make the same jokes all over the world from all genders doesn't become an issue because you assume the same person would be offended if they saw the opposite meme.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 05:10 PM
0

I dont need evidence that proves people hold an opinion. I need evidence that formed your opinion that made you decide it's ok to make a statement that this is part of their culture. It isnt a required number of pieces, I need some empirical proof that backs up your statement or you can retract it. Super simple dude.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:55 PM
1

You made a statement that this behaviour is part of their culture. I asked for the source of those claims.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:53 PM

I understand your opinion. I asked you why you formed it. You not being able to provide that information is not an example of you spoon feeding me.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:52 PM

Individual acts with no other examples of behaviour are not classed as culture. You need to show that it's something inherent to a group of people to say it's part of that culture. I didn't ask why you used the word spoinfeeding, I asked what is it you think you are spoinfeeding me? Try to actually respond to the questions asked, I know you are overly emotional right now and its hard, so maybe take a 5 minute break and have a glass of water. On your non connected point: Why do you think spoon fe…
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:49 PM
1

Ok so tell me some more information, some thay actually has provenance. After all you must have it, as you used it to form an opinion. What is it you think you are spoonfeedig me? You are the one making sweeping generalisations and I'm helping you realise you are wrong by forcing you to admit you have no proof, only emotion.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:40 PM
1

How on earth is that a straw man? I asked you what lead you to form this opinion. Not what was one bit of information. You literally said you formed your opinion based on OPs post. Not posts. Not information including OPs posts. If you have more information then please, share it, after all that's what I have been asking for the past 10 or so posts.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:37 PM
0

So you formed an opinion one whole culture based on one individuals post and then decided it was ok to state that opinion as a fact? Crikey.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:34 PM
0

It doesnt need to be a statistical claim to have evidence, why do you think that? You didn't say it was your opinion, you stated it was part of their culture. That is 2 very different things. I asked for the source for that statement, which is still valid of it's only an opinion. What information has lead to your opinion that it's part of their culture.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:31 PM
-2

And I was asking me to show your evidence that it is. I'm asking again now.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:27 PM
-3

You were making a declarative statement about a culture. I'd like to see the evidence that lead you to make that statement.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:24 PM
-3

Got a nice source on that?
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:19 PM
-4

That's something if you won your bet would be their individual hypocrisy, not an over arching equality issue.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 04:10 PM
10

There are many memes in private male only groups that are sexist and make jokes about domestic violence. This isnt a public organisation, it's an individual, an individual making a poor taste sexist joke. Men make them, women make them, that's equality.
/r/MensRights30/03/19 08:46 AM
3

Funny thing is even if you disagree with women and children first logically, when a disaster happens a large amount of men automatically move into protector mode and want to help those more vulnerable than themselves out of an innate biological and physiological response. It's almost like men and women arent exactly the same.
/r/MensRights15/03/19 12:05 PM

It's called football.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 10:39 PM

The posters where released during the football world cup as the rates of DV increase, the bruises are to represent the English flag, the tag line blow the whistle is because of that. Was pretty clever.

2

Super interesting thank you for that!
/r/MensRights11/03/19 04:07 PM

There was no chance of confusing this. It's two posters with exactly the same information. One a women with obvious bruises, one a man with obvious bruises. If you think genuinely the Male one could be easily seen to be the perpetrator, you are a sexist. You have also used straw man wrong, stop regurgitating things you see on reddit without understanding them.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 10:49 AM
1

Does having borderline not just mean you dont actually have it but are close?
/r/MensRights11/03/19 10:19 AM
0

No it's not, not by your definition. Seeing an obviously positive thing for equality in treatment for Male victims of DA and questioning the lighting in order to say simply it is not a good thing is actually disengenous. Asking an question honest question that's directly resultant from that attitude is not. You used the word incorrectly. Get over it. So gona answer the question?
/r/MensRights11/03/19 10:13 AM
0

You are purposely looking for negatives in an overwhelmingly positive post, to discredit it in some way. My question is entirely honest and therefore the word disengenous and none of it's synonyms apply. It inherently relies on a dishonesty. My question was genuine. I repeat it, with all sincerity (an antonym of disengenous). Why dont you want good things to happen in our movement?
/r/MensRights11/03/19 09:59 AM

And what about my comment meets either definition posted? Hint: it's none. You used a word you saw on reddit incorrectly and looked like a twat.

Then you are an idiot.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 09:36 AM

The shots are not the same. The picures convey the same message. The pictures clearly show a man with bruises and a women with bruises with exactly the same information. How is it disengenous? disingenuous /ˌdɪsɪnˈdʒɛnjʊəs/ adjective not candid or sincere, typically by pretending that one knows less about something than one really does. You have used entirely the wrong word, you plank. This is clearly a good thing and you want to pretend it isn't to continue your outraged victim status.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 08:54 AM
2

Exactly, this literally puts Male victims of DV at exactly the same level as women in the public eye. It says abusing your significant other, regardless of sex, is wrong. It's great for us.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 08:03 AM
2

Literally exactly the same bruises as the female victim. Exactly the same is equal. We want equality. Why do some people not want good things to happen within our movement?

Are you even 40? The fact that a man had to push womens rights shows the act if doing it wasnt a mens right issue you walloper. Women needed the input of men to gain equality, as they didn't have the legal or societal position to do it themselves. Us helping realise that isn't a MR issue. 4 decades ago there wasnt equal rights. Legal discrimination against women still existed. Now we have equal laws, we are looking for equal administration of those laws and the parity of Male issues with Female ones. She is highlighting a hypocritical disparity, which is helpful. Ouch did you have a humourcision. I don't have a clitoris because like you I am a man and a circumcised one to boot, as such I can make light of it. As a circumcised man I'm offering you advice. Stimulate him mentally, anal sex is an exciting taboo for most men. The mind is the biggests sex organ, even bigger than the frenulum! You have been asking this question for 6 months now so obviously you still arent doing it right. Maybe take some advice rather than virtue signalling for your "boyfriend"…

Even when aquitted the old "there is no smoke without fire" addage is banded around and their lives and careers are often negativley impacted. I do not class them as sex organs. They are not required to concieve a child naturally. While they are required to raise a child so are arms and legs and they are also used in sexual intercourse and react to sexual stimulus. No one counts them as sex organs.
/r/MensRights20/03/18 01:05 PM

Thats a very interesting point. They have to pick which one it is. For me a nipple can be sexual in context but isnt inherently, maybe thats because im a dad and see it as a milk tap. An extreme example to indicate my point: my favourite sexual experience involves the female mouth but I don't run around shouting "cover up your top cock hole you slag". However it really depends on the intent of the assaulting party to determine if its regular assault or sexual assault. A man was recently aquitted…

So you admit none censored body parts can indicate sexual availability and also be affected by none sexual stimulus. I am not offended by nipples on men or women because im a normal human being. I can't get on board with that way of thinking sorry.

Then ears which flush and engorge when someone is aroused and ready to procreate should be censored. Or pupils that dialiate to indicate attraction. Breast remain engorged in human females at all times unlike other primates so covering them up when the fact they are larger makes no difference to her "signal". We are discusing nipples here that also react to cold heat and other stimulation on men and women that isn't sexual. Apart from that I actually don't understand the sentence: "To claim brea…
