I'm a therapist. When I was studying, 90% of the students were women. Now that I'm working as it (part time, not my main occupation), 90% of my colleagues are women. 90% of the clients are women. This leads to the entire thing being very woman-centered. What works for women may not necessarily work for men. Many female therapists have no clue about how to handle male clients (it doesn't happen the other way around as much). The entire psychology field turns off many men from seeking help because…

The main idea is that if someone used to do something, but not anymore, it's because they don't want to. Communication often ends with the person feeling pressured to do something, which just makes it worse in the long run. This is true for both men and women. I like the Red Pill mantra of "attraction can't be negotiated", so I work on that. Usually how it ends (working) is, the man promises to make an effort to increase his attractiveness and reduce familiarity and the woman promises to stop wi…

I'm a therapist (part time, not my main occupation). Yes, it has. I have even used a certain approach with which I don't even agree to help two different couples and it worked. Mind that I have a quite red pill approach to therapy, I don't follow the traditional psychology teaching (except with the two cases above, because I felt it'd be more useful).

(No sound, can't watch the videos then) So at the level that rp discusses EvO psyche it is factually wrong. That's a false statement though. If you want to argue for it, provide a counterargument and show where it's factually wrong. You may not be able to do that due to how psychology works, or, doesn't work. Psychology is a soft-science due to the complexity of the human mind. Physical therapy (medicine) has a very high rate of success. We can cure lots of ailments, from infections to broken bo…

Lots of people find themselves traveling because it gives you a different perspective on many things, especially if you go to places with a very different culture. It can be a very enlightening and life-changing experience to live abroad for a while. You, in the other hand, managed to come across as socially retarded for laughing at something like this. Good job.

"But in the house, the only way it works is if there's a strong masculine and feminine component. You need to give your husband a blow job every day. He should feel like a king. Seeking it out in my sexual life is to make up for it in my real life. I want my husband to be dominant and more successful. I don't want to be the man in the relationship."

The "harasser" (according to her) is Francisco Zugasti, the main driving force behind ProJusticia, who fights against the discriminatory law of domestic violence. Classic Spanish feminist, who on top of that, tried to shame him and ended being quite homophobic on top of everything. Of course feminist like this one are a tiny fringe minority in Tumblr and bla bla bla. Zugasti should be the bigger man though. He was very obnoxious there. so if you actually give a damn about learning you shouldn't have much problem finding a source, or several. I give a damn, that's why I'm already researching the data from this study and overall, because last two times I researched data that has the UN or associate as a source, it was a lie.

I can't seem to find the source for that. They sure have some fancy infographics... EDIT : I think I found the source. A SMS survey made from 140 Zimbawbe women. This is what it says : The majority of survey respondents, 86%, reported ever using their profits on their family, extended family, or on themselves. Where their profits were spent on their family, they usually covered basic living expenses such as food, clothing and bills. Just over 72% reported spending money to support children in th…

No, they mean just spend it on her family in terms of food, housing, other needs/ or on improving business/the farm and thus means of supporting said family, instead of "depositing" it at the local bar like a lot of men in these areas tend to do. Before I start, I want to say that I'm not a big fan of you using your boyfriend as an example to prove everything. How long have you been with him? What happens if you break up with him tomorrow, what examples will you be using? I think that adding some personal experiences is fine, but you're using your boyfriend as an argument constantly. I believe you don't get it, why we have some of the arguments we have. I don't blame you though, I didn't get it either until a few years ago. If you don't …

Dating is influenced by hypergamy.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/15 03:15 PM

This is a commonly repeated thing in TRP. I'm trying to ask you why you believe that a masculine path is better than subverting gender roles. Especially if there are hordes of beta men that feel uncomfortable trying to portray masculine traits. You got to understand that many of us have been in the "subverted" role already. The sensitive man who's connected with his feminine side and is empathetic to the female cause (...), can share his emotions, is respectful, well mannered, etc. It didn't wor…

My first line on the topic : Learning how to dance, like latino dances, is very similar to dating. Then I wrote some things about dancing that are quite similar to how dating feels for both men and women.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/15 02:54 PM
1

Not true. When it came to exclusively dancing (you asked dating, not dancing, that's different), basically no woman was invisible (read below). I had no trouble dancing with not-so-attractive women who were total beginners like I could dance with an attractive woman who was a great dancer. It was a good change of pace, etc. It didn't really matter that much, it didn't matter which other girls were there. When it came to men, my own "dancing desirability" depended on which other men were there. I…

I never stated otherwise. I'll add a note at the bottom, so maybe it's easier to understand. The "dancing value" of the women was static in time, the "dancing value" of men depended on what men were there.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/04/15 12:49 PM

Why are you talking in present tense when my story is about the past? Most women who went dancing back then were, at worst, average, so no, no 300 pound women. I said I didn't have "very high" standards, not that I didn't have at all.

TW: Personal anecdote. Learning how to dance, like latino dances, is very similar to dating. This is a graph on the learning curve of salsa. Women who are total beginners can enjoy dancing from the first day almost. Men from all dancing skill level will dance with them (attractiveness is a major factor on partner picking). However, for men, the first months or years are total hell. So what happens is that you have a girl who started dancing two weeks ago putting faces when a beginner, a man, wan…

I'm knocking the act of doing it consciously, which I feel is very different from doing it unconsciously. That's why I acknowledged this by saying "as much as people are capable of doing." Doing it unconsciously is not a strategy, it's just the socialization of humans. And the degrees of which that people do it are somewhat variable. Doing it consciously, however, is actively putting on a ruse. You can't be a real person who can form real connections if you're intentionally putting on a mask and…

I'm sure most of them would agree that they are betas trying to "cheat the system" by pretending to be alpha Rather becoming the best you can be and waking up to the lies you've been told. If they truly were alpha (again, their definition) they wouldn't need TRP. That's a no-win situation to belittle TRPers, like your entire argument. Reference yourself: "No pussy is worth 10 hours of talking." Isn't "reference yourself" used when you're the owner of the original quite? In that case, not my quote. As in, no one is actively adopting some alternative personality or trait or strategizing in their head (as much as people are capable of doing), because we're just "being ourselves" - TRP nightmare. TRPers do consciously what many people do unconsciously, like PUAs try to do consciously what a natural does unconsciously. The amount …

Which is why women got the right to vote in one of the most progressive countries in the world less than century ago, right? Many men didn't have that right either. If I'm not wrong, UK and US men had to be conscripted in order to be able to vote. Women didn't have to go through that. In many other countries, female suffrage came right after men's or even at the same time. Maybe you should stop assuming you are the arbiter of what women should be satisfied with having. as opposed to being forcibly held on the masculine side for millennia We haven't had a masculine side since we left the caves. Masculinity favours the individual, not the group. Our society is built around the religious concept of the needs of the group over the needs of the individual and divine punishment as a way to fear-control people. At least in the Western world, we have tons of opportunities to find our niché and develop in certain areas that can lead us to happiness. Now, do I think that most men would benefit from having an extra dose of masculinity? Yes, I think so. Rather be overmasculine than undermasculine in my opinion. At least, let people …

Isn't "basement dweller" and similar insults, besides penis size insults, the "insult to go" by women who want to shame a man? After all, penis size and sexual experience is something common to use to attack a man's insecurities, especially by feminists and SJWs. "You're just bitter because you can't get laid" isn't common? To claim that virgin shaming is done "by other guys" and not women is either being oblivious or malicious. What's your pick?

"trp is purely a sexual strategy" I really don't like that approach, considering that "being red pilled" means to be unplugged, to wake up to the reality of our society and human nature. Sexual strategy is a big part of it, but certainly not everything. So that's the main one I disagree with. I also can't see how insulting women can be of any use. i think as long as red pillers have to hide their beliefs in public they are not more respected That's rather unfair for you to say, though. I think lots of guys do this already, the truth is that for guys its largely genetic/largely behaviour They can do a lot more than women, in my opinion. It's true that achieving a great body as a man is a lot more difficult than as a woman, especially if she has decent breast/hip genetics, but as a man you can improve in many areas, while for women they may be more limited. That I understand, but it wasn't the line of my point. We can discuss it though. Let's put it in a different way. People in relationships have to do sacrifices and compromise time to time, that's part of the deal for both men and women. Sometimes you may do things that you don't really enjoy (it's not that you hate it) because the other person really enjoys it. In example, a woman receiving anal sex. How should a man feel if he knows that his wife endured anal sex (which she doesn't enjoy, but d…

I don't agree with that notion at all. I think it just depends on the person and, while being on the same wave helps, sometimes you just have this great connection with someone totally different to you. I've given examples of how feminism in some countries outside USA is awful, to the point that when an American redditor says "those are just a tiny fringe Tumblr minority, not real feminists" I point them at the Spanish feminists and I never hear from them again. Discriminatory laws, useless organizations that waste time in complaining that the poster of a show is sexist, ruining occupy movements, brainwash men and women, etc. That's what they do. I'd like to point you to the Spanish law of Domestic Violence, which is the model that more countries will follow due to the Istanbul Convention. Some excerpts from it : Introduction : Gender violence is not a problem that affects private life. On the contrary, appears as the most brutal symbol of the inequality in our society. It is a violence that is directed against women by the very fact of being women, to be considered by their attackers lacking the most basic rights of freedom, respect and…

What's funny is that this gynocentric teaching is the main reason why personal responsibility is ignored. Look at SJWism and feminism, it's always someone's fault, please change things that trigger me, stop using that language, it's oppressive, etc. If I can just wait for the right person, if love comes when you least expect it, if women will love me for who I am inside, why bother doing anything? Because most men in the TRP haven't been so lucky to have the same helpful experiences I've had, so many things they got to learn from the books and then experience it, instead of experiencing it and learning it. What I experienced at first is that I was totally invisible to the vast majority of girls and that the "tactics" that I was taught by the gynecentrist community were far away from working. I got red pilled by a mix of people, events, etc. and I learned how terribly wrong the advice, and…

do you think it's possible to be very attractive and for a girl to not be interested? Yes, of course. I think that it comes down to semantics as well. It's related to this : do you think different girls have different types? Yes, but I think that there are common denominators, in both men and women, that always increase your attractiveness. I think it can be confusing actually due to the word "attraction". When I was younger, I was not attractive in general. I was needy, didn't have any self-est…

Life is a competition. It has winners and losers. Wanting to win requires a big effort and a lot of personal responsibility that not everyone want to deal with. Some people just want to stroll through life and have a peaceful existence (and they can be happy this way, genuinely happy). Some others want more. That's how it is. Getting off your ass and getting out there, working hard for you want, failing and going for more, getting out of your comfort zone, deal with other people, the ones you li…

TRP uses psychological manipulation. Are you talking about dread game? Because that's not exclusive to TRP or even men. A power struggle implies that people want power. Don't think about power like political power, but rather, personal and inter-personal power. It's there, all the time. As soon as you need someone, even if it's a little bit, more than they need you, they have power over you and, directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously, you may start wanting to balance it out. In my opinion, a lot of anti-TRP talks very negatively about power, control and manipulation, which are, in my opinion, very human things. But it really depends on how you see manipulation. If you use the "I'll exploit all your weaknesses so you submit to me" as manipulation, then the negative connotation is there. For me manipulation is anything we do to change how others …

No. I speak only for myself and I think that people should be free to do whatever they want if it doesn't trump on other's people's rights. However, people should own the consequences of their actions and be responsible for those. People confuse responsibility with blame all the time. Pretty much all that "victim blaming" is people pointing out the responsibility aspect. It happens to be that a big part of the modern feminism is about making sure that women are never held responsible for their actions, so of course then it's easy to put together responsibility and blame. It does explain in part why girls prefer boys a couple of years older when they're teenage and in their 20s - boys their own age can seem so young. That trend carries on for years though, not just teenager and 20s. The reason why girls/women prefer older men is basic hypergamy and because men also tend to prefer younger girls/women, it works nicely both ways. One could fail constantly and always end alone. Yet, I don't see how this relates to "nice guys" and "vending machines". For the most part, men and women want a partner. Some want one for a short period of time, some for long, even forever. but I guess that if six lines are "writing a lot" I can't expect…

Niceguyism is the radical belief that women are vending machines which dispense sex in exchange for kindness. That's just a cruel and malicious way to describe the situation, instead of showing a grasp of empathy and realize how that statement only makes things worse. The young nice guy doesn't believe that a woman is a "vending machine" that will reward him with sex if he's nice enough, he believes that the way into the heart of a woman is through kindness, respect (which means avoiding disgust…

The TRP stance seems to be that these men, while pathetic, are not necessarily mean-spirited but simply misguided in what women seek in a partner and how you should go about achieving success in self-improvement and pickup. That's how it is, it's young men being misled and misleading (due to not knowing how to make their needs known). Your background is quite similar to mine, including the "you'll make someone very happy one day". I think the worst aspect of it is how it encouraged passivity and…

A woman-oriented education : Mother has a lot more influence than the father in the education of the child. The father is either very passive or absent. Controlling mother tend to brew people-pleasing behaviour for some reason. Most of the teachers are women who don't see "boy energy" with good eyes. Less rough playing, more ritalin, that will calm them down. Media is more and more women oriented as they make up for the majority of consumers. That's fair from a commercial perspective, can't blam…

Active sex life doesn't necessarily lead to higher numbers though. One person can have a very active sex life with a partner for years and years. People said it was natural for sexual attraction to be extinguished because a woman has a higher number. I don't remember this though. I do remember some saying that it was disgusting from his point of view. Anyways, that was all from me today.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/15 02:53 PM

And something different from shaming and looking down on people with active sex lives. I also remember another false equivalency you did. Active sex life doesn't equal promiscuity. Some guy said that he lost attraction when he discovered that a girl was promiscuous and you were attacking him for that. Was he shaming and looking down people? No, he just lost attraction. That's how it is.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/15 02:42 PM

That's not what happened though. Men there were defending their choices and you were shaming them because, for you, "I don't want a promiscuous woman" is an attack. Isn't that the case? (that you think this way)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/15 02:36 PM
2

This started with you challenged me because you thought there was something wrong with my defending "promiscuous" women. No, I was just curious why were you supposedly defending promiscuous women from shaming while shaming the people you were arguing with. Like, what's your angle? Why is this so important that you'd engage in so terrible arguments (that's how you argue I discovered) and shame people to protect others from shaming.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/15 02:33 PM

Oh this is so irritating, so much dishonesty. Oh, I have to totally agree. You're incapable of discussing with what I'm saying, not what you think I'm saying. Seriously, look at this : Stop lying nobody shames anyone for choosing monogamy. I didn't say that. I said that men who say that they want a monogamous woman get shamed. You did it yourself in that MRA subreddit thread. People shame people who think that women that are "promiscuous" should be attacked, shamed, or looked down on in some way…

Presumably you don't think there is something wrong with defending women that travel a lot, like you think there is something wrong when other people are defending women you think are promiscuous. You can defend things without resorting to shaming. "I'm monogamous, I want a monogamous woman" -> "That's ok, we all have our preferences". "I'm monogamous, I want a monogamous woman" - > "What's wrong with promiscuous women? You're just insecure and controlling, get a life".

you think it should be attacked, you think it shouldn't be defended But that's not true. but in reality its stronger than that. I didn't hide this either, I wrote what is my position. Do, what you wish, sleep around, own the consequences, but stop shaming those who won't take you. Men who say "I'm monogamous, I want a monogamous woman" are shamed. "You're insecure, sexist, controlling, stop shaming". I want this to stop because it hurts young men, it makes them accept things they don't want just…

If you think there is something wrong with defending people that do x I never said there was, I'm asking you because I have no idea what your position and I still don't know and I will just not find out. You continuously use strawman arguments. If I say "I like to walk in the park" you say "Why do you hate shopping centers and the people who go there?". It just doesn't work this way.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/15 01:21 PM

Which implies you think they should be attacked No, it doesn't. As you said, we're going in circles because I have no idea what your position is, so I can't even try to get to a place where we can agree or agree to disagree. I already said what's my position : Do whatever you want, but own the consequences and stop attacking people who don't want to date you because of X. That's not just limited to approach to sex, it's about basically anything.

We're discussing from very different definitions of what is "slut shaming". In my opinion, slut shaming is an active thing, you go out of your way to make someone feel bad for what you consider is "slutty behaviour". Not dating someone because you have a different approach to sex is not "slut shaming" unless you become active on it, as in, you tell that person "I don't date you because you're a damn slut". I'm not "disgusted", but to continue with it, I'm disgusted by smokers. Am I engaging in s…

You are making a straw argument. No, I'm pointing out where I stand with this argument. That's my main issue with this, that's why I thought those threads in the MRA sub were good, that it seems that it's something terrible for a man to decide not to date someone because doesn't like her past. My "straw argument" is at the top of this thread in a peer reviewed paper. Why are you defending women manipulating men? Your straw man argument is saying I'm defending women manipulating men. I wasn't using strawman arguments . Why do you defend a female manipulation tactic? Seriously? Right after the next line you pull one? I don't defend or attack slut shaming. My point is always the same, do whatever you want to, but stick with the consequences. If you're a woman wants to sleep around, go ahead, but don't attack people who won't date you because you sleep around. This is what you said : These guys, although theiy dont want to come out and say it, are repulsed by sexually active women. Then that's not true as sexually active doesn't equal to multiple partners. You're misusing the "sexually active" aspect like many people do when they say "...because a girl likes sex?!". Its not slut shaming, I just find it repulsive! I find smoking repulsive, I wouldn't date a smoker, but I don't tell smokers that they are bad people for smoking or things like that.
/r/MensRights08/03/15 05:19 PM

Over the next 12 years, however, the rate generally increased and by 2013 stood at 12.6 deaths per 100,000 So not only you used some statistic to form an argument that had nothing to do with that person's argument, you used a false one that, once corrected, turns your own argument against you. I can now see, looking back, how this all gave me a really distorted sense of what male-female relations are supposed to be like. /r/offmychest was taken over by the Fempire, so it's no surprise that the comments are the way they are. This is the "empathy gap" at work though. When the criminal is a woman, we get all empathetic, checked what caused her to be or act this way, try to find forgiveness, etc. When the criminal is a man, there's no room at all for empathy, he's a monster overall. I'd like to see empathy for male criminals as well, but without getting away from the focus which is, in this case, the victim.

Masculine men can't be controlled, so you destroy the image of masculinity so young boys grow up to be "white knights" and company. Those are easy to manipulate, easy to control and all that. This is very true. Anger is an emotion that is not accepted at all, so we shame it and make sure that is suppressed. How feminists manage to confuse this choice with 'blame' is something I don't understand. I'll try to explain it : Feminism lives in a perpetual victim status. Victimism is a spectrum and on the other side we have responsibility. In example, a person who takes full responsibility over their own life is the opposite of living in a victim role. In the other hand, a very depressed person who blames everything and everyone, but avoids looking inside, is on the other side of the spectrum. Through our…

The ethics and morals of murder is not subjective. They are. Was attempting to murder Hitler WRONG? It's not so easy to say. There's no absolute right or wrong as it's very subjective. Homosexuality is "right" for us, but for a long time, or in other places, or for some people, it's "wrong" and we don't have the moral absolute to determine 100% what something like this is right or wrong.
