That’s exactly it, they only look good on paper. They have used old photos that are 5 years and 50 lbs ago, pumped up their job titles to sound more important, live in their mother’s basements, are porn addicts, actually have girlfriends, are low effort, are just looking for hookups, are narcissists. They lie.

I like how he thinks calling you beautiful will make you reconsider your own boundary/want/need/goal as though you don’t hear that 5 times a day.

Sorry, not while we still make 71 cents to their dollar. They can pay.

I think you’re way overthinking this. You respond with “Who? Oh, I don’t know, we haven’t talked in a while.” You’re not his secretary, his mom or his wife so you’re not expected to keep tabs on him or anything. And how do you make it clear that you are not associated with someone and don’t condone their behavior? Quit associating with them (which you have done). That’s enough.

I’m going to get downvoted to hell, but most men are on OLD for a reason. That reason being that they can’t get any dates in real life.

I have to admit that it took me about 40 years to figure this out, but it’s true. Once I started ignoring “love” and demanding respect, my marriage changed 100% for the better.

14

Oh my god. Just...how. How are people so cruel.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 05:41 PM
28

Exactly. Imo it has everything to do with our ability to put ourselves in the place of the person we are caring for, no matter how “gross” the care is. I’m a mom of two kids and would never let them be in a dirty diaper for one second longer than necessary.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 04:28 PM

I just don’t think that women find these things any more disgusting inherently, or else we wouldn’t do the majority of this kind of work. We are just socialized to not be as lazy as men and more empathetic (thinking more about the well-being of the kid sitting in their soiled diaper rather than how gross it is for us to clean it, for example). I am automatically leery of any “BC BiOlOgY” argument
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/01/21 04:04 PM
124

If women have a lower threshold for the disgusting, why are we the only ones who can manage to change a dirty diaper without complaining and dry heaving? Why are we the ones that bleed for a week every month? Why are we the ones more likely to stay and care for our sick husbands and wipe their asses when husbands are more likely to bolt?

I am tired just from reading this. How are you supposed to achieve anything in life when you are constantly being hounded to provide someone an orgasm?

Girl I read every word of this post thinking YES! YES! YES! He just couldn’t handle your success and felt the need to knock you down. You handled the situation beautifully. I am so proud of you and happy for you and your new home. Enjoy your scrote-free life. Never again!

I drove a sports car that was a stick for forever. If he can’t handle one too, I don’t want him. I’m not about to have the biggest stones in the relationship. I have an automatic SUV now bc I have two kids 😂

Mine were: has children, is bald or balding, has less than a master’s degree, is separated or recently divorced, is a renter, doesn’t know how to drive a stick shift and make repairs around the house, is less than 6’, has bad teeth, doesn’t have a career or a decent income, keeps ex-girlfriends close, has paid for sex, abuses drugs or alcohol, has poor grammar, can’t hold an intelligent conversation, uses social media a lot, doesn’t do things like make dentist appointments and renew his car regi…

I hear you, but I have a six-figure income and still came across those who “never want to get married.” They will avoid the commitment as long as they think they can still benefit from your money

You get him to stop by divorcing him. When your kid someday asks why you divorced dad, you tell him or her that daddy used to pretend to push you down every set of stairs you encountered. And also...why do women come to message boards to get advice on how to make men stop doing things? You told him to stop and he didn’t, no one else is going to have a magic spell for you.

I didn’t post my husband anywhere until we were engaged. To me, that’s a “wife” benefit because it puts a claim on me in the eyes of other men. Maybe she is doing the same but she doesn’t seem that savvy tbh

Having kids can change your body, but does not ruin it. Quite the opposite, having kids gave me a new respect for my body and women in general. I also look basically the same. It’s true that you definitely don’t want to be tied to a NVM or LVM by having his kids and being forced to coparent with him, and that sometimes you don’t know until it’s too late. But honestly, if my husband decided that having his kids rendered me unattractive, I’d happily take my kids and go. There is no comparison. I’l…

What a stunning example of a Pickme mom 🤡 (his mother)
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/12/20 08:56 PM

What an absolute load of garbage. It’s up to the expectant mother to get the father involved in the baby planning and make sure he feels important so that he doesn’t cheat IN ADDITION TO GROWING AN ENTIRE HUMAN, doing the majority of the household chores and child rearing of older children, and working full time so she maintains that 50/50! Society truly does not expect men to take responsibility for ANYTHING. How about you just honor the promise and commitment you made to be faithful?
