I know with 100% certainty it won't work. Unfortunately there are some groups that will only learn the hard way. Stupidity must-have material consequences.

The good news is that opportunity knocks to once again level the playing field. War is coming and so is a draft... So let's enroll women in the draft and require them to be 50% of our frontline troops. Mandate it. Then they can prove to us that gender constructs have all been a ghost in our heads and that men and women are the same :) We should start a petition. I am sure they will support our efforts to give them equal access to high-hazard combat roles and the rewards for serving in them.

I think you probably are wrong, because she’s right about how women were historically treated. Can you expand on this? Maybe quantify it? I would like to see something to back up this assumption before we accept it as fact.

All of life is a gamble... you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. :) If you are coming to the point where you have run out of options (ex you are unlikely to see him again unless something is setup...) you really don't have much to lose. If you feel asking for his number is too much, then ask for his email. Send him a confirmation email to confirm you have it right... and make certain your phone number is in the signature line...

I am sorry, there are red flags all over this situation. Especially noteworthy are the money-related red flags which tend to be relationship killers. Also, note that red flags usually grow with time. Additional shopping before investing is warranted.

I think you'll find that this breakup may not necessarily be about the guy just not having time for her due to a new business venture. With this being the case, then yes, what I wrote is probably moot. As to why give her the means to argue with him... the title of the post was "How to get him back" and the first step to getting him back is getting a dialog open and changing how he views the situation; however, my who train of thought was based on the supposition he viewed the relationship as a t…

I would be wary of advising young women to put their entire life on hold and serve someone else, without a ring or even an indication that one is coming. 100% AGREED. Oh my yes, I am draconian :) in agreeing with you on these points! No plan, no ring, no way... What I wrote for the OP is how to argue with the guy... actually moving forward requires not only a rind but some form of a sanity check that this guy even has a shot at what he is trying. These are really big questions for which I don't think I have the answers. I am not qualified to answer questions about Asians as a group. As to why I get asked out, I am certain that race and ethnicity play into it somehow. After all, people certainly look at you. Worth noting, the personality and the presentation of the individual matter too. I would be very surprised if a Western guy would "bag" a quality woman just for being a western guy. There is someone out there for everyone and you seem to be very thoughtful which strikes me as positive and advantageous for you. It's called go where you are valued. I go to London, nobody looks twice at me. I go to Shenzhen I find women waiting in the lobby for me to come downstairs so they can meet me. If you've lost a family member, and you meet someone else who has just lost someone, and you can understand what they're going through because you can recall that same pain, then that's empathy. Absolutely agreed. Also helping random people you barely know is not the definition of empathy, it si something else. It is likely a result of empathy but it is not the condition of empathy :)

It could be we simply have a disagreement on the etymology of the terms. Empathy the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Empathy might result in an inclination to help others. Helping random people you barely know is not the definition of empathy. You don't know the meaning of the terms, you are making $hit up, and expecting me to agree. Get out a dictionary.

I will take your point and revise what I said. Men operate on respect, not empathy. YES, men can feel empathy, but it's not the operating system. YES, men can feel empathy, but its not the operating system. If a man goes into a burning building to pull someone out it's loyalty, duty, and sense of community. I don't see empathy as a primary motivator, possibly secondary, but not primary.

A Man carrying his fellow men to safety even when's unable to walk is Empathy. A man carrying fellow men to safety from a burning building is Empathy! This is not empathy, this is brotherhood.

Read this advice 10x. This is the big picture. Lifting, working, and getting girls are all preparations for the big move: Creating your legacy in the form of your son(s). Most will not progress to the point that they are ready for this level. Additionally, many will choose not to move to this level and that is OK.

Dependable friends are a great asset but they are not a necessity. Sometimes you need to walk along and improve yourself, possibly for years on end, before you qualify for a new peer group. It all depends on your state of mind and your relationship with money. For example, if you need a traffic cop in your life to tell you not to blow your $100K savings on a car, it's probably money well spent. On the other hand, if you are a natural saver, you might not need it. Example: I have been very aggressive about driving income and yes, I bought a lot of expensive toys - AND I always paid CASH for them. Ok.... so let me make sure I understand what you are saying. You are competing with guys who have made massive long term investments into their position in the heirarchy. You are new on the scene and have not yet made much investment and you are expecting immediate success? What could go wrong? :) Lift, eat clean, improve yourself, and elevate yourself so you have real status and the rest will follow. Just do the work, you will be fine. Really you will. Don't let this get you down.

Tough love headed your way as truth bombs. You are lazy. Got something awesome and exciting sexy you want to do? Great! Be a man, plan it, and bring it to life with your girl. She seems to be investing in you and you are being lazy. You are seeking other people to create the excitement you won't make for yourself. Don't blame her for the fact that you won't do the work necessary to deliver on and live your fantasies out with her. Now you know what you need to do. Time to step up and deliver. Gro…

Two issues: Your boundaries have been violated. Your frame is broken because you yielded. You will not recover in her eyes. Time to learn from your error and move on. That means "end it" Likely monkey branching in action, probably related to number 1. You have already lost. Cut the investment and start over elsewhere.

You need to raise your ambitions so they consume you better. Increase the weight at the gym and find a way to lift it. Revise your diet Push yourself to learn at work and at home. You're not dazed and confused, you are recalibrating. Useless time sucking activities have left your mind and now you need something to replace the idle thought space. Stop making excuses. Making excuses is why you feel like crap. Pick a trade and find a way to learn it. Make learning that trade the center of your life. Eliminate all other spending wherever possible. Decided to sleep and eat on schedule so you have time and opportunity to learn your trade. Do nothing else for the few months it takes to learn your trade, get a job in the trade, and improve your income. Then repeat. You have no idea how quickly this routine will lead to success.

Slap yourself in the face. Good. Now that you have come back to your senses, go your own way and stop comparing yourself to other people. It is a losing game. You are missing out on far far less than your bragging buddies, soon to be sporting STD's and child support payments, are telling you.

NTA - You have a right to have standards. No one is at fault, she simply does not meet your standards. Dating is an opportunity to gather information, which you did, and make an informed decision as to whether to enter a committed relationship. You have made an informed decision.

If you are looking to understand and and to heal, I would suggest you grab some audio books by Dr. Wayne Dyer. You will find a goldmine of perspective altering information in books he wrote such as Your Erroneous Zones. It is life changing stuff.

Nope... moved out of building ships and into building ever bigger teams of people to get things done. If you make it a habit to learn every single stinking day... (Hint: make audio books your hobby) and work to improve in your line of work (Hint: your improvements should be targeted at your next career step) then you will find yourself following the money. You are making smart choice with the bed and the food. They are valuable. Live crazy deep under your means. Learn to grow your earned and inv…

I practice what I suggest to others... I just wish I had figured it out 15 or 20 years earlier than I did. I am not going to post my income in a public forum... but will tell you I am highly specialized and highly networked into my profession. So the money is very good Also note that the lower you push your living expenses... the higher that ratio goes...

Not considering investment income, my earned income to expense ratio, all in, is greater than 30:1 Let that sink in... Have nice paid for car and live very cheaply in a nice place where the landlord appreciates and discounts for a tenant who is zero drama.

Yes, when I was younger. Then I used the skills I developed to move up the ladder so to speak. Managing yourself, leads to managing teams, leads to leading teams of teams, which leads to leading organizations... At the core of it is remaining debt-free, hard-working, and ready to follow the work.

It's like any trade ... what matters is the work. Are you going to show up early for work every day? Did you take 20 minutes to clean and service your gear so you are ready to work? Do you settle in, listen to some music or a book on tape and totally zone into the work? Are you willing to be completely responsible for your own craftsmanship? Will you work whatever hours they give you without complaining? Can you write down names and phone numbers so you can provide references to recruiters? If y…

OK, I will take the oil field option, which I think is a great one for you: Google oil field jobs and don't stop googling until you find ANYTHING related. Then apply until you get part of anything, anywhere. Whatever you get, take it. Once you are in the door learn, learn, learn, listen, ask questions, and be a model employee. The rest will take care of itself if you stay hungry!

You clearly don't get it. This is co-dependant blue pill thinking, early stage MGTOW exploration, or something else not yet defined. It is good that you are reaching out to the community. Here are some suggestions to help you reposition yourself so you can get your mind around it: Stop worrying so much about what other people think. Stop looking for approval. Approval is not needed. Realize that many of the memes are calling into sharp focus the truth long hidden by blue pill BS and others are v…

Yes, become a certified pipe welder. Time in school, about 8 weeks... 2-4 years to break into contracting solo if you are willing to follow the work. Many state job programs will pay for your welding classes and once you certify the school knows all the recruiter. Become an absolute stickler for procedure, do it right, do it the right way every time. Work every hour they will throw your way. Earn 6 figures easy... more if you can build a team.

You have just been given a line by line plan for getting on the path to Healthy Living. Print it out, put it on your refrigerator door, and begin to execute on it line by line Crossing off each item as you get it done. By the time you get to the end of the list you're going to be in a completely different reality. Talk is cheap. You will never appreciate the value of the knowledge you have just been handed in the clan that was just given to you. The future is yours to choose. Hold yourself accou…

He is simply not interested in starting a committed relationship with you, he is trying to maintain you as a trade down option in case he cannot do better. Kudos for achieving clarity! You have already identified the problem. There is what you want and there is what he is... and he is not going to change. The solution is a change of attitude or a change of captain. Don't over complicate it and stop dodging the issue. Make a choice. Have an honest conversation with yourself, make a decision, and take action. Change one or the other. Both of you deserve a clear and committed decision.
