So - quick update - I met her yesterday. Fuck. Ok, she is pretty into me now, however, she is really a person I would not consider as my gf ... So at least, I was able to seduce a girl for the first time in my life. I think I'm starting to understand women a bit more and how my actions influence other people. However, now I have other problems.

I agree with you on the first part. However, it definitely fits not my style to say your suggested line. I think I should have just ignored her reply and told her my serious intention, the reason why I didn't come. I didn't know how to put it, so that it's close to how it was said in my language and also doesn't feel akward in English. xD I failed. I once tried to meet her when I was in town, but it didn't work out, she cancelled it. Strangely enough she still initiated conversations.

I have mixed feelings about this. I live in a very small town, but I'm moving to a big one. I went out solo at both places. In the small town I have had very little success. I have to say that I already had several failed attempts to approach girls at a cafe or similar quiet spots. And it got me raging in my head every time.
