And true. People who protest, go on marches, strikes, etc are hardly a good representation of society. They're the ones who are unemployed or they're not missed if they don't show up for work.

Get cheated on, hand over your salary and get an allowance back, ridiculous corporate work culture... can't blame the guys for opting out.

he should be teaching his son about leeching females I think he just did. Reckon those girls are still answering his calls now that he doesn't have that apartment?

If someone said "kiss my ring" here, I'd assume they were saying "kiss my arsehole". It's more of a joke phrase than a serious one about someone getting on their knees and kissing their ring like they're the King of Northumbria.

Big difference between kicking a son out of the house and throwing a daughter out.
/r/MGTOW18/11/19 06:52 AM

The son had an agreement and he broke that agreement. He was told multiple times to punt the leeches and didn't. What the father did was fine; learning there are consequences to your actions and discovering you're not entitled to live rent free seem like they're some much-needed lessons for the kid.

I get why women are the MRA speakers. It's easy to ignore or ridicule a man talking about men's problems. The world is used to listening to women complain and then doing something about it.

They're supposed to need proof now. Why would the new accusations be any different?

It is for the mother. It's just an accusation.

The dissonance is ridiculous. Men are stupid, brutish thugs right up until it comes time to take responsibility for something, and then men are evil manipulative geniuses.

Problem is that would just be adding to the ammunition women have during a divorce. "He beat me, he touched the kids and he cheated. Gimme the kids, the car, the house and all his money!"

The knowledge has been around for thousands of years; look at religious texts, literary texts, art, etc... women's nature has been obvious and apparent. Consider what has actually changed is the spread of misinformation in the last 50 odd years. "Women are wonderful", "Women can do anything men can do while wearing heels", "Women are oppressed", etc etc, plus social and print / television media being used to browbeat into submission people who dare to question the narrative.

When the man accuses the woman, suddenly due process and evidence is required.
/r/MGTOW15/11/19 08:51 PM

Have to agree. Therapists aren't fountains of wisdom, they're just normal people who listen to other people, run through a textbook list of methods to address issues (most of which revolve around more talking sessions at market rate) and don't involve any practical solutions to a problem.
/r/MGTOW15/11/19 08:47 PM

Look up "weaponizing children" - it's something a parent (normally the mother) does to alienate the other typically non-custodial parent.

Yep. The lawyer would have some very leading and obvious questions that would tiptoe crossing the line but wouldn't be enough to nail them.

They're not even "tricks" anymore, it's just SOP for a woman to get what she wants during divorce. "Can I say your husband beat you?" "Sure." "Inappropriately touched the kids?" "Yep." "Drug abuse? Gambling addiction? Cheated?" "Go nuts."

Yep, when women start to become affected, things will change. Estranged dads killing themselves en masse for decades apparently not enough reason to fix a broken system.

Leaving aside what a joke post it is trying to shame men into thinking this what they need to do for a "grown" woman. Texting is a rubbish way of communicating. It's slow and painful. If a discussion needs to be had, ring the person. If you ring a person, have something to say. Don't ring up "to hear the sound of their voice". Listening to women's problems is a waste of time. She's not looking for solutions, she wants to be told she's in the right and have her feelings validated. Its needy and c…

Completely agree. A photo sent to someone is a gift - it's not something that someone can retroactively deny consent to the other person to look at. She can absolutely ask the guy to delete it, and he's under no obligation to do it and also shouldn't feel guilty about keeping it. Can men ask for the financial equivalent of all the jewelry, dinners, concert tickets, holidays, other gifts etc back after a relationship breaks up? How about the same when a marriage is dissolved? Easy to guess what t…

Alimony isn't for the children, that is actually for the wife. That should just be abolished and gone forever more. If a marriage dissolves, then both parties should be free of any obligations from that marriage. If a man has to pay a woman alimony, then the woman should have to come over and fuck him every week, clean the house, cook dinner, etc. Blows my mind that someone is obligated to keep paying another person to live "in the manner to which they've become accustomed" and that person doesn…

Its not difficult to cheat. I know ugly guys, absolutely atrocious, degenerates that cheat on their wives. And I know male models that are faithful. Yes, I didn't say (ugly) men don't cheat, but if you look at a comparably attractive woman, it's far easier for them to cheat. Its going to be extremely difficult for an ugly guy to cheat (without paying), whereas it'll take a bit of effort for an ugly girl but some guy out there will jump on given enough social lubrication. It isn't as simple as "t…

Maintenance manuals in the future: "If the pump stops working, it is because it no longer wishes to function for its female technicians and must be replaced with a new misogyny-free pump. If the new pump also fails to work, check to see if it has been contaminated with misogyny or if the conjoined equipment or supply power is showing sexist tendencies."

Exactly. In spite of all the changes over the years and the fact that 99.99% of women on the internet wouldn't have experienced a sliver of oppression in their lives, we apparently "need Feminism now more than ever". Must be very refreshing to attribute all your problems in life to some sordid cabal of faceless men who apparently sit in a dark room drinking brandy concocting plans to keep women from becoming CEOs and software engineers.

Why would a young woman need a dating strategy? All they have to do is show up somewhere men congregate and they'll have options straight off the bat.

This is in direct contrast to the media portraying men as the cheaters. The truth is the other way around. It's much easier for women to get sex than men, and given men are the romantics, the pursuers and the financiers, they also typically have a lot more invested in a relationship than the woman. If you have people more attractive on you willing to have sex with you, can replace the man you're with with a few phone calls and have relatively little in the relationship, surely that person is mor…

Divorce generally ends up cheaper in the long run. Even if it doesn't, still worth it. Plenty of stories of guys in here who lost almost everything but recovered more quickly because they were only paying expenses for a single man.

Pretty damn good summary. Was thinking it was missing a few steps though. Denial Victimhood Confrontation Crocodile tears Social pressure / isolation The point of the confrontation is to goad the man into saying something out of line that suddenly makes him the bad guy and takes the focus off her (as Bill Burr says, she tries to get you to call her a cunt). Then come the tears and shaming. If that doesn't work, she'll take the issues to her social circle and have friends and family take her side…

Not American, don't really care about Trump, but the amount of hatred and bile directed his way because the media and Feminists hate him really makes me hope he gets re-elected. When he got elected the first time around, I thought the crazies who were all bleating for a female President because its apparently important to have a female President would pause and consider that their ranting and raving helped bring Trump in to power. Your grandfather sounds pretty damn awesome. I've met a few guys who are excellent fathers - they set firm rules, if the kid screws up, they deal with the consequences and he shoots straight with them. He's got two boys, both are top quality people. A solid father-figure in a person's formative years is critical. Couple that with not having to deal with some of the drama that comes with most mothers involvement in their kids lives and it really isn't that much of a surprise that you get some rea…

Nowadays I’m watching more and more TV and it’s rotting my mind. Completely agree. I feel dumber than I used to, my hand-eye coordination is terrible and I feel less competent. Sitting back and passively taking in some TV show or similar really has terrible long-term effects on you. As you said, at least video games require active involvement.

The real reason why my mother divorced him was simply because he got laid off his job, I wondered if I could meet up with him again to see if I could regain something missing in both of our lives, until I found out he killed himself a few months after the divorce. Well, that was a cheerful story. I wonder how common this is in the modern world where so many fathers top themselves after being gutted in the Family Court system...

Possible, but unlikely. The guy says the daughter has now moved in with her mother, and I doubt this is the kind of move made in your "progressive" two mother family model. Edit: Never mind, I see they said "my mother", I thought it was the daughter's mother.

Yep, one of my favourite movies. Michael Douglas is awesome in it. He portrayed a very intense character, but it was also about how the guy had been used and discarded by the ex-wife, the government and society in general. Don't forget Robert Duvall's character either. He has a non-working former beauty queen wife who has fallen apart as she's aged, and now when he retires she wants to move to some town in the middle of nowhere because it has some bridge in it.

Not sure where you are but in Aus, if a mother and child somehow ended up homeless, they'd be rushed to the front of the queue for accommodation and welfare. Shelters in this country are almost exclusively run for women and children.

No, it isn't a responsibility. Its a noble thought, but some people don't want men's help and others will take advantage of it. If some men opt to not help others because of this, that's their choice to make.

Coding isn't easy. There's a bit of coding in the course I'm doing and you need a very organised and logical mindset to be a good coder. Also takes a long time and a lot of dedication to become good at it - seeing the difference between my code (many lines and comments using the relatively few tricks I know) and someone who knows (minimal lines, concise code, well structured) that they're doing is eye opening. Yeah, it's annoying. "Open plan" offices are a popular idea for some reason even though they're less efficient and less productive. I was moved out of my own office into the maintenance office with a bunch of other guys, and all of a sudden you're getting dragged into conversation, arguments, showing other people around to find things, etc. The theory was that there are no longer any "silos" of information and everyone is on the same page, but that's a load of rubbish that sounds good in theory …

If men played as badly as these women did, no one would be watching and certainly no one would be arguing that they should get paid the same as people who are genuinely good at what they do. Aussie taxpayers and the men's game. The government is shelling out $30M in funding to broadcasters to show "underrepresented" sports (ie women's versions of football, AFL, cricket and netball), plus Football Australia will pay the women more, which will get robbed out of the men's competition and/or grass-roots football.
/r/MGTOW09/11/19 11:58 AM

Her acting is poor, she's annoying as hell and she was pretty at best in her prime and isn't anything special now. She'd get a few mediocre gigs in films based on her Harry Potter fame and that's about it. Not much of a serious future for her in the film industry. So jumping on these causes and g…

One thing I've never got about gay people is why when they come out and admit they like fucking other men, they suddenly put on that Julian Clary voice and get all limp-wristed. If they want to fuck other guys, go for your life, but stow the Queen of the Fairies act and just be yourself.

Over and over again, in this case. The "woman scorned" part that seems to repeat itself is also pretty telling. Women handle rejection terribly, and in some cases, it barely qualifies as rejection... more inattention. Doesn't matter, guy must be an awkward, small-dick incel.

Younger girls can live in the moment, enjoy the ride, love and laugh with you. Older girls have agendas, are always conniving and manipulating. Older women know their looks are fading and their fertile days are nearly gone so they proceed with dishonest intent to trap or manipulate a guy into settling with her. Exactly this. You can almost hear the clock ticking with some women in their 30s, and the "I don't have time to waste on playboys" routine they use to force the issue is pure desperation.…

25 versus 45... she doesn't look better? Personality wise, the younger version is far less likely to be a bitter, resentful cunt. Not going to be too many men who prefer a 45 year old so they can benefit from her decades of reading Cosmopolitan magazine and dating hundreds of men.

She really seems like she'd be completely unbearable. She's annoying enough when cameras are pointed at her, and the fact that a rich, attractive-enough girl in her 20s is single says a lot about her personality. Yes, the old bullshit story about having a woman at home "taking care of things" allows the man to go out and make his fortune. Take the average maid's salary to look after a single house and throw some babysitter dollars in there as well, then take out half the rent, utilities and expenses to live in a city from that and see how much cash is left over.

Well give it 10-20 years and it wouldn't surprise me if a generation of men who have declared their wallets' sovereignty from women become the new "preferred consumers" so to speak. The difference now is that the "social pressure" comes from Twitter, Facebook, Reddit etc and involves a million other women the world over cheering them on as they sleep with dozens of men, get abortions, get fat, trap men in marriages using kids, quit their jobs, divorce rape them, etc etc. Very rare for a woman to get sat down now and be told that the world doesn't owe them anything.

No shock there. Men pursue, women enjoy being pursued. A typical woman in her 20s will have several guys knocking at her door. A guy has to jump through hoops, woo and impress a girl - it takes effort. Sitting back and picking a man out of the crowd takes no effort. Naturally women are going to switch partners more often - its easier for them and they've invested less into the relationship.

My issue is not the fact that you’re comparing men and women. It is a fact that men are naturally stronger than women. My issue is that you belittle top female athletes by saying the average male can beat them simply because of biology. Fuck out of here, try actually doing some sports and get a grasp what you’re talking about. Seriously, go google some of the examples I mentioned above. Women can and do get owned by 14 year olds. Part of it is biology, but the increased competitiveness from play…

This is definitely not true. I’ve literally heard only one case similar to this and it was about a the Australian football team and that’s about it. So the Matildas were beaten by the Newcastle Jet's U15s team 7-1. In Sweden, the Swedish women's team have been beaten by local Swedish club's U15 and U16 teams despite the boys playing with only 10. Same happens in America, not just in football but in ice hockey as well. The US women's team plays against backwater high school teams and get beaten a…

But I have a possible explanation for what went on. Consider that she was appointed with a specific task set by politicians, and she achieved that task even though she might not have agreed to it. As an officer, you have to obey orders from your superiors. The irony being that if most of us do something in our working life that endangers other people's lives, we will cop huge fines and potentially go to jail. Intentionally lowering the standard of employees for fire and rescue is something that …

It definitely changes the vibe of an office. Where I work, we had three project teams for three different regions. The project team up north was all blokes, smashed out their work, had crumbed steak barbecues at work on Fridays, and in general had a friendly, helpful and hilarious atmosphere to work in. There are quite a few girls in our team, by contrast, and it is a far more reserved and cautious atmosphere. Why? Human nature, I guess, as it seems a fairly common occurrence across sport and wo…

CPE = Chartered Professional Engineer, I thought. Unless they've got another CPE acronym to confuse everyone? Up here another qualification is Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), which means I need to get someone to rubber stamp my work in some cases as I'm not RPEQ. Can still work as an engineer, but there are extra hoops to jump through.

But it wasn't until 1929 that a physician named Dr. Earle Haas patented and invented the modern-day tampon (with applicator). Fantastic. Going to pocket that one if anyone ever tells me that we need women to design and solve problems for women.

Its a pretty blatant charade. There's "the truth", which is objective and typically based on fact. What does "my truth" mean? Subjective and therefore based on opinion and point of view. The truth has meaning, "my truth" is useless.

For one, it's just assuming that women work less and want to work less which is simply less true and comes from some implicit sexist view. Funny how you can swallow the wage gap as a valid statistic but then are up in arms about working hours. Look at any country's labour statistics - men work longer hours with more overtime, the percentage of men working full time is higher (more women work part time), men work shift more often (higher pay), etc. Men do work longer hours. It is in the same set …

A lot of women choose to work less because they don't want to sacrifice time with their children/families and that is just fine. A lot of women also choose to work less because working for 40+ years isn't as exciting as its made out to be. Very few men have the option of retiring early from the workforce, but I know quite a few women who have. I lost count of all the posters listing out the cash and prizes they believe she's entitled to, because naturally she was forced into becoming a SAHM. She never had a choice in the matter. At no point in the 16 years of marriage could she have gone out and gotten a job or developed some skills, of course. That's why she deserves the house, half his pension, the car, cash prizes, alimony and child support. The guy is a detective, too. I'd imagine he's seen some fairly horrible shit in his work, a…

How on Earth did this community that should be made up of smart men that can see through bullshit got brainwashed into supporting him? I doubt that that many people do support him, but a much larger group of people are tired of the shit from the mass media, Hollywood, big corporations, Hilary, etc that he's the preferred option. The fact that he gets lampooned for breathing probably makes him a more sympathetic figure to some than the alternatives.

Still won't be many women doing it, and they don't stay in the trades. I've actually come across two female boilermakers and a handful of female electricians over the last few years, but they're all young(ish). Oldest would have been late 20s or early 30s tops. If they've got half a brain, they'll get promoted to a supervisory role because women are totes awesome, and if they don't, they'll find some sucker, punch out a couple of kids and won't go back to work. We are all getting flogged at work…

Likewise, $250k would get you a broom closet in Sydney and a garden shed in Melbourne. Australian capital cities are pretty damn expensive as well. Could probably find a half-decent house out in the country for $250k, depending on where you live.

Agreed, that's part of the book I loved. The gradual descent into full on insanity. Hard to portray well in the movie when you've got to move the plot along and finish in a reasonable timeframe. Infinite Jest is fantastic. You'll need two bookmarks though, one for the main novel and one for the footnotes. Keep your phone close as I had to google a fair few words. Yep, that's what they're looking for. I'd guess engineering would be a 85-15 or 90-10 split by gender the main streams of mechanical, electrical, civil, etc. The push to hire more female engineers means that female graduates basically have companies groveling at their feet begging them to come and work for them. There are relatively few women who basically get their pick of the jobs while most male graduates get to jump through the usual hoops and fight it out for the remaining positions amongst…

Good on you if you enjoyed it, but I think you're underselling the plodding nature and the overt preaching that goes on. These books are more like Ayn Rand's vehicle to slap readers about the face with her ideals. In terms of literary value, Rand is making a long-winded point. Her books aren't interesting in the same way as a Cormac McCarthy book, for example. IMO, anyway.
/r/MGTOW19/09/19 09:46 PM

They're fairly well known. Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead are some of Ayn Rand's best known works. In some ways the views in the books align with MGTOW, but she is horrifically heavy-handed and there are chapters of insomnia-curing oratory in the books that makes them a chore to read.

Disagree with how you're framing that prince/princess thing. If we're watching movies growing up and thinking that they're somehow a representation of life, then its more like the following: Action The man has to get the bad guy, save the world, rescue the children, etc to be worthy of the girl. Men are typically more logical so they're more likely not to make a fuss over being a day older than yesterday. Men also received far less attention, particularly as they get older, so I'd imagine plenty of guys don't feel a need to have a big Me Me Me day like women do. You're literally a mindless drone at that point, so I can't imagine doing that for 40 to 50 years and then retiring. I'd imagine being married would help keep these guys at work, though. Pretty loose thinking from people creating laws and regulations, if that's the case. I don't think it is - I think they're just happy to enshrine women's privilege in law. Because women deserve equal representation in high-paying and prestigious fields, clearly. That they're not is obviously purely down to discrimination rather than other factors such as men being more heavily represented at the pointy ends of the bell curve, men not taking breaks from work to raise children, men being far less likely to take work/life balance careers and men being more competitive and ambitious.

If you're going to bring a quota in, then corresponding quota figures should be brought in for the other affected demographics. That doesn't make sense. So if your girlfriend sleeps with 100 other guys, you don't have a problem with your girlfriend, you have a problem with women? Does the same apply to all the libtards who accuse anyone who disagrees with them of being an incel?

Women often talk about mens size as if its a static metric, and it is. They fail to account for their own size, so to speak. What she probably thought was “big” at 19, is probably average at 33. Like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

Agree about emotional support, plenty of women leave before entertaining the idea of supporting their men. Never understood that women think men are entitled because of the fiction we consume. In movies, fantasy novels etc, the guy who "gets the girl" has to save the girl, save the day, save the entire world in some cases, etc. The women in this fiction - they're typically pretty, and that's it. They're just there. So tell me who is entitled when a man has to literally move mountains to be worthy of a girl while a girl just has to exist and be pretty for a heroic guy to sweep her off her feet.

Marriage is a trad cuck problem, they're the ones pushing it. I highly doubt too many leftists are big into marriage, what with feminism being opposed to it cuz oppression. Feminists might be mock-opposed to marriage because of the "patriarchal" nature of it, but they're definitely not against it. How many hardcore Feminists wouldn't take the opportunity to destroy a man slowly and completely via the family court system and collect cash, prizes and attention along the way?

The US women’s team constantly references the men because of their similar revenue and much better respective performances. They could, I think. One competition is the World Cup, the other is the Women's World Cup, because they can't compete against men. A team in Italy (Perugia) had a famously batshit president who was big on publicity stunts, and he was desperately searching for one of the top women players around the world to sign for his club. He didn't have any luck, naturally, and even if he did and he tried playing someone who was the equivalent of a mildly talented 15 year old, he'd have been lynched.

What's annihilate? 5 nil? 10 nil? Guess it depends on what you define as pub footballers. I played social football on weekends and it was mostly about getting together with a bunch of good blokes, playing a few games and then going to the pub, so I'd still call it pub football, but there were some damn good players there who were very talented but just wanted to coast and enjoy themselves. Some people have a bit of a penchant for being the big fish in a small pond. For reference, in AFL, the Syd…

Twenty years ago me and my mates down the pub would have hammered the best women's team in the world. Not anymore so there has been a vast improvement. Women's soccer isn't all that terrible to watch these days. Eh, I disagree. A bunch of fat 50 year olds playing pub football would struggle, but any Sunday league heroes who play reasonably competitively would still beat the best women's teams in the world.

10? If they took it seriously, they'd be scoring a goal a minute. They wouldn't take it seriously, unfortunately, but if they did, there'd be a genuine chance of hitting triple digits. The "best" women's teams get donked 6 or 7-0 by 14 and 15 year old kids from domestic teams - professional male footballers would be beating those kids 15 or 16 zip, most likely. The women would hardly get a damn touch other than taking the re-starts after goals.

What gets me is why people would want to watch such a poor standard of sport. Personally, I find it weird to be watching something on national television where I'm better than the "elite" athletes on screen. In Australia, there are cricket, AFL and soccer competitions on free-to-air now where the standard is diabolical. I was decent but not great at sports through my teens, twenties and early thirties, and I cringe at some of the stuff I see from the professionals on screen. Women complain about…

At my old club, some of the Matildas players (Australian women's team) used to train with us occasionally. We were a team of weekend warriors / goodish suburban comp players, and they were middle of the road OK but nothing special players. Hard to get a gauge on exactly how good they were because no one went in hard in tackles or tried any physical body work to shield them off the ball, etc. The usual thing happened when men play against women in that we waited for them to pass the ball to someo…

You're being way too kind. 45, overweight (describes her body type as "big and tall", which is only half right at 5'6"), kids, divorced, hairdresser, is "ambitious" and has a second language of "other". That's all before you get to the body of text where she changes her hair colour / style every week, wants to go traveling and dancing, loves pretty boys and says whatever man is dumb enough to give her a chance needs to make sure she doesn't stray. Wowzers.

Point taken but respectfully disagree with the premise. If you're saying that kidnappers would escalate their violence to get a child, it already happens. Granted not in this scenario. What I'm advocating is giving "benefit of the doubt" and legal backing to parents that violently defend their child from harm. Bystanders should not be included in that leniency nor should it be granted in a family scenario. Kidnappers, ex-wives, bystanders, etc. If the guy in this case had chased the woman down a…

If a parent kills someone trying to kidnap or hurt their child the parent should not be prosecuted. I understand the sentiment, but can you see a problem with what you've just said given this very story you're commenting on? The dad in this case got the shite kicked out of him - what do you reckon would have happened to him if child kidnappers were getting executed in the act? That's something that would get used against fathers 10 times more than it would help them protect their children.

They don't want to compete against men. Time frame is only an incidental factor they tweak because they also can't play for as long as men. Edit: May as well add that the longer a competition goes on, the more likely we are to see the best competitor win out, so men will play for as long as they can whereas women will play for as long as they need to.

Agreed. Why should someone "show emotions" - what does that prove? I think of people I admire at work, and one of the traits I think a lot of people respect is the type of person who is a cool head and calm in a crisis. Women are the breadwinners in only 15% of all marriages(counting single mothers, it is 40%). With single mothers, I'd imagine the ex or Daddy Government would still be the breadwinner in a large proportion of cases.

Most women think their time is invaluable and the greatest gift they can bestow upon a man. The guy could've bought her coffee and paid her for the privilege of getting to teach her some English and she'd probably still think she's the one doing him a favour because she's so fabulous. That's why divorces are typically so messy - the woman wants to be compensated for all that time she's "wasted".
/r/MGTOW18/06/19 01:06 PM

But if you ask something like this it’s gonna annoy her. She a human that likes her privacy too. Be modest to a girl if you want her to like you. If she "stopped sleeping with him" last night, then that's pertinent. Besides, given the conversation is about whether she is sleeping with a mutual acquaintance, doesn't sound like they're two strangers dancing the Getting To Know You.

If a woman has slept with 5 guys before settling down with you, fair enough. If she's slept with 100 guys... what makes #101 so special that she'll stop looking? I think that goes for guys, too, but guys have to work that much harder to get laid that they're more likely to get tired of the whole charade and hang up their boots. For women, there'll always be another dick.

Feminists aren't looking to be treated the same, they're looking for equal outcomes in desirable areas where women are currently behind, AKA selective equality or only looking for privileges. Look at the recent push for more women in STEM, more women in politics, more women CEOs, at board level, etc but no one is pushing for more homeless women, more lady plumbers, more women having to sign up for the draft, etc.

Its interesting the way the two sexes tend to operate. Men like to stick to the point and argue their corner whereas women try to get other people on their side by any means necessary. Not everyone is this way and I definitely know a couple of guys who operate like this, but its pretty clear when you extend the concept to how women use the police, courts, HR, lawyers, etc against men that they really don't come at problems the same way we do.

I watched a little of a few warm up games a few weeks ago. I'm 36, knackered and fat, and I'm still better than most of the girls I was watching. They're genuinely rubbish. Men's weekend warrior social teams would wipe the floor with them.

Yep. Women's sports benefits from "good will" more than men's sports do. Sponsoring women is like a donation to a charity. The other thing that happens is piggybacking off of men's sports (ie tennis, AFL, cricket, etc) to cash in on "joint" sponsorship deals.

I don't have a problem with women's leagues being paid the same or even more than men as long as they open up those women's leagues for men as well. If they want pay parity with men, they should compete with men.

What exactly is un scientific about gender studies? They are studying science. They do studies, peer reviewed studies and research on all of it — people are just conditioned to think of gender studies or women’s studies as somehow crazy or absurd , but ok you say those are horse shit, so is psychology as a field bullshit? No one takes Gender Studies seriously because there's no real science to it. Unlike normal science, Gender Studies takes a conclusion as fact and then chooses / interprets evid…

You're right, but in 5 or so years when she's about to dive headfirst into the wall, she'll get herself a makeover, buy a few nice summer dresses, delete / quarantine her social media accounts, get dolled up and go trolling for a guy who doesn't know her or her past. The chick is obviously fairly attractive and if she can manage to hide her sociopathy for long enough to lure in a provider, she'll hook the bloke and be set for life.

You're spot on with the women ragging on women. Some of those traits make women more attractive to men, but for example, I really don't get painting nails or wearing fake nails. Short nails don't get in the way. I don't care what colour someone's nails are, other than seeing someone paint their nails inclines me to think they're childish. I could sort of understand it if I was told they're weapons to gouge someone's eyes out, but that'd raise a different set of questions. Ditto makeup. I tend to…

"Unrealistic standards" of beauty, being judged on their appearance, not being able to wear the same clothes twice in the same month / year / decade, having to wear makeup, fake nails, etc etc... all things men typically don't care about. You also don't see a fat acceptance movement for guys.

that doesn't change the fact that she's one of the best women's players in history. That's my point. Being one of the best women's players in history is like being the biggest whale in the local aquarium. I agree that she should have to wait, but people here are trying to turn it into a gender issue and how they're favouring women when it's simply not the case. Maybe, but I don't think you can dismiss it. Serena has been happy to play gender and race cards in the past, so accommodating her demands is a way to avoid a potential situation like that. I like the comments about work being a cakewalk compared to raising a child. I'm sure getting up in the middle of the night sucks balls, but some people don't just sit on their phones or computers and spend all day browsing Facebook, either. She literally has the second-most singles Grand Slam titles of any woman. And the woman with the most is no longer playing, so Serena has the most of any active player. CM01/02... so many hours lost to that game. I'm really bad at it, too. Raged over superhuman goalkeepers so often. Zidane, Figo, Montero, Crespo, Saviola, Lampard, Rafa Marquez, Ledley King, Petr Cech, Taribo West... wage bill was crippling. They want “mentoring” but don’t want to work their asses off. They want to twerk their asses up the ladder. Nobody cares. You either earn for the firm OR you don’t. I recall that in Oz's labour statistics, the average full-time working week for a man was about 40 hours per week while the average full-time working week for a woman was only 34 or so hours. Its plain as day that women seek the "work/life balance" more than men, however it shits me that that gets re-framed as discrimination.

Sorry, are you suggesting completely reforming the justice system because of a few pregnant felons? It takes a lot for a woman to get put in jail, and even more so for a pregnant woman. Good chance anyone that needs to be cuffed to their bed isn't in custody for unpaid parking fines.

That's fine. Would you say that the business specifically excludes qualified women, or that's just how the cards have fallen? That's the point I'm making; that men who are better at a particular field are being excluded.

I just read an opinion piece on Football365 about Ada Hegerberg and her "fight" for equality. So sick of this shit. Women have equality and more; they get preferential treatment and privileges. No one is arguing for male net ballers to get equal pay, or male models, or male porn stars, but women footballers who can't compete against men and therefore need their own segregated competition are demanding more pay, more coverage, more exposure, etc. Abolish segregated women's leagues and let them pi…

If you have a beer, it doesn't matter if you have it after a 6 month continuous bender or its your first ever beer, the alcohol content is the same. How much blood you have and how much of a tolerance you've developed to alcohol are what determines how much it knocks you around. Your BAC level after one beer is going to be the same either way. Everyone's liver processes alcohol at about the same rate, so your BAC will drop by about 1 standard drink an hour.

A pat on the back or a hug from your buddy can be a great thing. A lot of men just aren’t secure enough to do this. To each their own. I don't want a hug, a cuddle or a pat on the back from my buddies, I want to talk shit, have a few beers and more than a few laughs. And then we start treading into dangerous territory. Why am I paying a thousand people to do nothing? A bunch of them have just had kids... now I'm paying 1200 people to do nothing. Some kind of exchange needs to occur. Otherwise people are effectively redundant and should become a "controlled" population. I do get where you're coming from but handing out free money hasn't worked in the past and I don't see that changing in the future.

Not sure the long run will yield any better results, just further automation. At the end of the day, the smarter machines get, they'll make the vast majority of jobs redundant. What are all these purposeless people supposed to do? Becomes poets, artists, street musicians, etc? This transitional period will be rough and with many protests probably. A child once born functions as an independent organism. You can assign it another guardian/parent and it'll live as long as someone is caring for it. Can you assign a fetus another womb? If not, then we're not talking about the same thing. Indeed, you can't assign a fetus another womb but I'm not sure what point you're trying to prove there. If it's "alive" then force it to live on it's own strength, independent from the mothers body. As long as clamping the umbilical would mean death and a stillbirth, the damn thing isn't "alive" because it cannot survive without the wombs life support. And again, you're getting stuck on "living human", which a fetus is not. Its going to be, though. The fact we don't classify it as such is so people can make the decision to remove it without guilt. If someone desperately wants to increase the diversity in their field, then practice what you preach and step aside to give all these diverse candidates a chance to take their place. Point A and B aren't related. Yes, women's fashion is far higher profile and more in demand, hence they get paid more. What was the town like? Touristy? Looks like a bit of a wealthy man's retreat from your photo.

Better than I thought it'd be, actually. I would've thought that type of post would have a lot more "you're not entitled to a woman!" type responses. I mean they're there, but there are a whole lot more posts about men not having to pick up the pieces when these young girls "sort their priorities out" or whatever euphemism you want to use for their looks starting to fade and the baby timer going off.

Agree, she's got a very cunty look about her.

Don't forget the part where he offered to go get some, she declined, he said fine and then she lost her nut.

To be fair, he said his bed, her roof, so he's playing the game fairly according to the kiddy rules they laid down.

She'll come home and destroy half his possessions, most likely. Women are like escalation machines.

Just hoping for and cherishing approval from a group of strangers, same as most social media posts. I like the story above though. Reads more like a joke and I'm pretty sure the guy knows his wife is a cunt and he's acting out as well. Looks like he'll win out in the end, though, as I doubt they'll reconcile after this.

The advantages haven't been eroded - the average guy is still stronger, taller, more capable of learning skills / trades, more capable at spacial / mathematical problems, more independent and more productive than the average woman. More likely what these men are getting sick of are the restrictions and hurdles placed in front of men and the allowances and freebies given to women and minorities.

I'm sure we'll see this changed to a manslaughter charge so she can walk free in a year or two and so it doesn't count as a woman murdering her partner for Aus' DV stats.

I don't know, if a raging Feminist of a mother was blaming "The Patriarchy" for everything in front of her kid(s), I'm sure they'd start parroting it back to her.

It is like they don't know the value of a dollar. Why would they? In so many cases around the world, they're spending someone else's money. In others, money just drops out of the sky after a couple of Instagram posts / Twitch videos.

Maybe not the bike, but the other two for sure. You want to spend money? A woman will appear out of nowhere to help you.

For accuracy, the bottom left should be "SOLD (bought shoes and a nice purse)". Edit: Ah, never mind, I thought this was the woman's point of view in the relationship.

She was, but that was in 2007 and this is a 2010 article. I'm guessing she didn't work after that and will claim to be impaired. Had a bit of a google though and can't find any follow up articles so either it was laughed out of court or there was a very quick, quiet settlement. After her husband left her and their two children, ages 6 and 7, she was so distraught her work performance suffered and she lost her job as an apartment rental agent that had paid her almost $100,000 until she was let go…

Dunno, would be good to get more information on it. Even though she cheated, the judge could take a dim view on him basically abandoning the wife and kids. After all, its all about the children now, and she's got them. He might be paying half his salary and she's just going for the icing on the cake with the phone bill court case.

Indeed. Most people would have the good sense to shut up about their infidelity, but some lawyer dangled a payday in front of her so she's gladly getting her name in the paper as the woman who sued the phone company for sending a phone bill with her cheating history on it.

Now the woman, whose husband walked out, is suing the communications giant for $600,000 for alleged invasion of privacy and breach of contract, the results of which she says have ruined her life. Nagy is deeply embarrassed and ashamed about what happened. “It was a mistake,” she said of the affair. “But I didn’t deserve to lose my life over it.” Apparently she did. I like the way the husband dealt with it. Long calls to some personal number on the bill, calls up, talks to the guy, finds out abou…

Sounds like a hell of a time, I guess. Can only look back on it for what it was, not what it could have been. I'm sure she'll find some poor sucker to pick up the bills - just glad it won't be you. What I often wonder is do they genuinely like you at the time? Are they pretending or once they come into some money or meet another attractive / funny guy, do they just flip a switch and the feelings for the last guy are gone? Just seems mad how someone can have another person build them a house, buy…

Two blonde Swedish-type ballet dancers? Can imagine that would have seemed like the dream come true at the time. Problem with the genuinely beautiful women is that you have to be on top of your game at all times. There will be a hundred guys a stone's throw away who will be trying to chisel their way into her pants, and if she's not feeling it with you, she'll let them. Reminds me of what they say about picking up single women versus girls in relationships. To pick up the single girl, you've got…

Yep, point 1 is critical. I'm slowly building bank up, just in case. I'm not great at job interviews so I'd like to have 6-12 months worth of cash stashed away for a rainy day. Also point 3. Keep an eye on job listings if nothing else than to look for that ideal job / location, but also to see what skills your industry is looking for. Re: point 2 though, it might have been a good place to work except for those guys. HR will always do what HR does and take the easiest and least disruptive route t…

The analogy is a good one, the noble SJW acts like an inquisitor for their religion. I always find it hard to fathom how this sort of behaviour, hypocrisy and lack of reasoning could become socially acceptable, let alone endorsed by the media, government and tertiary institutions. Maybe its always been this way though.

So she doesn't smoke, drink, take pills, like needles or drive. She likes cats, turkeys, dogs, snowmen, pineapples, tomatoes, bacon, something, something else, shrimp, lemons , octopus, fish, crabs, butterflies, avacado, tacos, hot dogs, chocolate, cookies, ferris wheels, carousels, films and money. Please be white, tall, have an eye colour I like and don't expect to sleep with me. PS I am hairy and an insufferable cunt. She seems nice.

You're right... but she looks pretty damn good. She's got a very healthy rig on her. Also: "dancer". Yes, I'm sure she does every now and again. Baffled by Depp, though. He's just been put through the ringer by a psychotic, money-grubbing whore, and now he's lining himself up to go through it all over again?
