I was bullied as a kid. My parents and my grandparents always told me:

never hit back

I was bullied until I was 14 years old. My 3 bullies showed up during a class trip, mobbing, bullying. My mind went blank. The next thing I remember is: I sat on the biggest bully and drammed my used tissues in his mouth. Since then, no one ever bullied me anymore.

So fuck this "Be a christian and be peaceful-Disney-prince"-shit.

Taught my sons to fight effectively as well. All three of them are loving and respectful but when the fight comes to them... they end it with zeal, speed and with the nearest objects.

It's not that simple. There are guys you can put up a fight and guys way bigger than you. You have to learn how to proceed accordingly, i had to get into fights when i was a kid.

I was always big for my age so my bullies would be 3-4 years older. I did Judo and boxing and because of that my (single mom) was terrified I would kill somebody. Freshman year of HS I was 6’2 200 but I getting bullied by a group of seniors that didn’t like my older sister. For about 3 weeks I was miserable. I had enough and ignored my moms shitty advice and planted the pretty boy ring leader on the concrete with a hip throw. He got knocked out and broke his collar bone and I hit him a few times too many just because I was amped up. The rest of them just stood there shocked. They talked some shit in the days afterwards but none of them wanted to be in a sling like their pal.

Until the day she died, my mom used to regale me with the time when I was four y.o. And the six year old neighbor took a plastic toy hammer and wailed on me. I ran to the garage, got a real hammer.......annnndd....the kid was never allowed to play with me again by his parents.

When i was bullied in school and came home my father told me that if i won't fight back he would kick my ass every day.

After getting kicked my ass twice i fought back - lessons learned. Never ever let myself get bullied again.

Also teached my kids not to get bullied - not by kicking their ass of course (LOL).

They never became victims.
