It seems you don’t understand what quantify means. To properly measure benefit - a numerical metric for benefit is needed - we can call it utility. For example - we can assign the value of finishing to be 5 units of utility Regret can be -2 units STD risk can be -1 units Etc The problem is I just pulled those numbers out of thin air. Who decides what each factor is worth? What if someone cares about risk more than regret? Etc. If we cannot universally agree on these values and the method of meas…

It does not. It just means the quit and regret rate is higher. There’s no evidence that can support the claim because the benefit in this case cannot be quantified.

The women that stopped are not relevant in this discussion. Someone who is not participating will get 0 benefit. To even attempt a comparison between who benefits more, you have to be participating.

You can make the argument that “more” men benefit than casual sex than women. You can also argue that men are more likely to be satisfied after casual sex than women after casual sex since that is a binary yes or no. But not that one group benefits more because that implies benefit can be measured but the benefit in this context cannot be quantified.

We can say the same for men - so there’s no distinction between men and women. But your argument is there is a difference.

They expect to benefit, which is why they do it. We don’t do things expecting to not benefit. It’s also decided afterwards for men. Not every sexual experience is going to be positive.

If you get a negative then you’ll stop - the women that keep doing it are obviously getting a benefit.

Statistics are irrelevant in this argument. Benefit is assessed on an individual level. If an individual seeks out casual sex - they get a net benefit. If they do it despite not getting a benefit that’s on them. Man or woman.

I’ve actually been on a couple dates off apps in Thailand and they’re many normal girls on here. Obviously being a westerner gives you a status boost. I’d say it’s the equivalent of being in a high paying profession here - obviously it will help with dating.

I’ve actually gone a couple dates in Thailand off the apps - many of the quality girls on the apps are westernized & upper middle class so they don’t necessarily want your money.

Someone that can get results from 20 approaches per week has incredibly low standards or spends a long time pre-screening for single and interested women before approaching. The former is more likely. OP needs to increase their standards. Most of the night game outcomes are exaggerated and involve pretty subpar sexual experiences. Nothing to FOMO about unless you’re really into amassing a large quantity of subpar sexual experiences.
/r/seduction29/08/25 02:46 PM

The implication here may be that OP is targeting men that aren’t inherently interested. Interested men don’t need much effort from the women - just awareness / “permission” to proceed.
/r/seduction29/08/25 02:36 PM

There are delusional people in every demographic - men/women/age ranges. I don’t think anyone has the concrete numbers for which demographic has more delusional people and does knowing that information it really matter?

I disagree - I spend less money when not dating. The cost savings from living together are minimal and not every couple lives together immediately. The government and economy has every incentive to encourage relationships and marriage and kids. Population growth, child care, wedding costs, engagement rings, expensive birthdays, etc. All stimulate the economy. As for self improvement - you implied you’ve tried such products/endeavors and were not satisfied with the results. This just means you pi…

I don’t see what there is to debate here besides the definition of Chad - which is arbitrary. Perhaps the notion that RP think women are desperate for relationships but are you arguing women don’t want relationships? You provided a bunch of context and assumptions and definitions, but what are your points?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/25 12:53 PM
1

Your title is incorrect and inconsistent from the content of your post. Women have the same benefit of having kids as a man. You get to have kids and pass down your DNA. If you don’t want those things then obviously there’s no benefit for you - and only costs - but plenty of women want those things. Your post just listed a bunch a costs of having children, which we all know is much higher for women than men. Your points are also generalizing men. There are good men and bad men and men in between…

We are the product of evolution. Our behaviors and preferences are dictated by our ancestors that were able to pass down their genetic material. If most men are wary of impure women across multiple cultures, this suggests most of our ancestors were as well - at least the ones that were able to contribute to the gene pool. In prehistoric human societies, where the majority of our evolutionary influence originates, there were no contraceptives. As such, men are inclined to be wary of procreating w…

It doesn’t have to apply to all cultures for it to be rooted in biology, but biology will define the norm, and you’re listing exceptions to the norm. The majority of cultures and the majority of men care about a woman’s purity.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/08/25 01:40 AM
3

Your response fails to consider that purity also has external & social implications. If a woman has been with many men - even if kept completely personal. Those men know they have been with her. A man does not want to be seen with a woman who these other man will see him with and say “Damn what a sucker, I hit that for free on the first date and now he’s wining and dining her”. Regardless of whether or not such scenario occurred. Your argument still seems to be that men only want purity due to i…

Men care about purity for the same reasons women care about height. It’s biological instinct. It’s inherently irrational. A taller partner does not necessarily make a better partner in modern society, yet it’s almost a universal preference for women to prefer taller partners. Similarly, a less pure woman isn’t necessarily a worse partner, yet it just “feels wrong” to most men. We can rationalize why purity and height don’t matter, but at the end of the day, we respond to how we feel. The fact yo…

You didn’t specify the quality of the profile. But regardless, profile quality only brings marginal improvements in results - dating apps are a competition. Having better pictures / better prompts still won’t allow you compete with better looking guys that have just as good of a profile (or even worse profiles)
/r/seduction01/08/25 09:07 PM

If we define “successful” as above average results then your question answers itself. You need to be above average at something to get above average results. Being truly average will only get you average results at best.
/r/seduction01/08/25 05:35 PM
1

Men are generally providers and are inherently turned off by the prospect of potentially supporting another man’s offspring. It may not be a rational perception but it is a deeply ingrained initial perception. It is like a man’s height - it today’s age - height shouldn’t matter. But it does. It affects career potential and dating prospects for men. Most women are inherently turned off by a shorter man - even if it doesn’t make logical sense. It’s biological/psychological. Similarly, the instinct…

People tend to view things from their own perspective. Women generally prefer older, more well off and competent men. So it is more difficult for them to relate to men preferring younger (not necessarily young) women. Younger women may also be lower maintenance and less demanding - which is a fair thing to consider. But it is common for women to criticize men for grooming or accusing them of not being able to “handle” or attract someone their own “age”. I understand the sentiment as it is frustr…

Women in the past had lower earning potential than they do today so they were more financially dependent on their male partners - hence having a generally more submissive and accommodating role in the relationship. Lack of social media and time bias distorts perceptions of the past as well. It is easy to assume things were different (better) in the past if you weren’t there.

This wouldn’t be the case because we tend to only approach when we are clearly attracted to someone while they may not necessarily reciprocate. If societal norms were switched and women approached men, they may only approach really attractive men who would not entertain them seriously. It doesn’t end well for any parties involved - except for the really attractive men that have loose standards and don’t care about leading women on. The women that approach get burned in the end, the average men a…

It is valid to be single and alone rather than to settle for someone you don’t truly like. Some people would rather settle, others would rather not. We all want the best and someone that checks all the boxes but that may not be realistic. It is up to each person to make that decision weighing the trade offs. Women can certainly pretend to be happy while actually being miserable due to their dating circumstances - in a fake it till you make it type of way - but I’m sure there’s also women that ge…

Picky is subjective and highly dependent on the individual woman. For most men - it’s just a numbers game to find one that they are compatible with and reciprocates. Maybe if you’re average you got about a chance with a few women out of 1000. But if you’re really unattractive, it may be out of 1000000, then it just becomes highly inefficient - but still not impossible.
/r/seduction23/04/25 05:40 AM

It doesn’t matter as long as she really likes you. Just think if you’re a really attractive guy and get a lot of attention from girls - what would make you pick a girl? If you like her more than the other ones. If being a jerk to her will make her like you more then so be it - but that’s unlikely going to be the only factor at play here.

Men need to initiate, not necessarily chase. With many mammals, most males are capable of reproducing most of the time, while females may only be sexually receptive during certain time periods - it makes sense for males to continuously initiate and approach females. Furthermore, when you chase a woman - you may be going after women that have not picked you hence the lower success rate - whereas when you wait for them to come to you - they have already chosen you. There definitely is some scarcit…

The more attracted she is to you - the wider range of behavior she will tolerate from you. Women aren’t too different from men - just think about if a woman could “game” you into doing what she wants you to do - there’s not much she could do unless she already checked a lot of your boxes. There’s a lot she could do to turn you off but not necessarily stuff that would change your mind if you weren’t into her in the first place.
/r/seduction23/04/25 05:06 AM

This strategy trades maximal results for efficiency. You’re less likely to waste time on uninterested girls since they have to reach out first - but you’re missing out on the girls you would have gotten if you reached out first.
/r/seduction23/04/25 01:36 AM

This is highly dependent on your personal characteristics. If you’re going from a richer country to a poorer country it will be easier. If your race/cultural background is viewed more favorably in the destination country it’ll be easier too.

Confidence doesn’t pay the bills - men actually need to be competent/attractive or ideally both to have options with women. Without societal norms of monogamy - we would see more hypergamous and polygamous behavior from women which benefits more attractive/competent men while reducing the options for average men. Monogamy serves to help distribute the “sexual/mating” resources more equally.

I’m close to 100 myself and the value of each incremental body has diminished to the point where the effort/cost/time/risk is not worth the reward in most cases. Sure it is somewhat fun as a hobby and I am still going to want to do it occasionally but the incessant drive has disappeared. Plus the majority of my lays were not memorable or fulfilling. Guess I’m not cut out for this long term. I rather just have one high quality sexual partner at this point which is much harder to sustain and achie…

I agree with that, but I’m assuming you want conversations with girls that are romantically/sexually interested in you + to go on actual dates that end up going somewhere. OLD is the most time efficient for getting such prospects. Also the point of OLD is to set up a in-person date / conversation. Do not text for more than 1-2 days without trying to plan a date.
/r/seduction25/09/24 06:17 PM

Hobbies and shared interests are a good choice for warm approach but they are more passive sources. OLD can be good if you have a top 20% profile for your demographic. It’s the most time efficient method if it works for you. If OLD does not work for you, cold approach is your only option. I personally don’t like cold approach as I view it as very inefficient compared to dating apps. Success rate is most likely in the single digit percentages for even experienced and good looking guys from approa…

If the vibe is off, don't force it. Just means you are not compatible. Most likely case is they lost interest once you guys met up (perhaps you did catfish them or something in your behavior turned them off). There are times where I lost interest in a date and just wanted it to be over so I didn't really make any more effort to talk. Overall, you should avoid just asking questions and also making observations/comments/opinions of your own. But at a bare minimum, a date should be engaged and acti…

I personally feel like dating apps are a better screen for mutual interest and rejection is not as direct. You generally get ghosted or don’t get likes/liked back. All those are technically rejections, you just don’t experience it as directly. I haven’t really done much cold approaching but I assume it’s better for developing real world social skills and experience with more direct rejection. The downside is you’re kinda forcing girls into the interaction without them indicating interest back, s…

Seems like you’re still young/in school so this tactic not be completely horrible, but at some point, you’re going to have to be direct with her. You have to be willing to take the risk. Otherwise it’s a high chance you’re just going to waste your time fantasizing about her and being her friend / friend-zoned. If you want to be more indirect, just be more physical with her and gauge her reaction. Put your arm around her, hug her in a more boyfriend way, etc But like I said, at some point, you’ll…

Men generally only get interest from girls less attractive than them. That 2/10 you’re speaking of probably only gets attention from 1/10 girls. The 2/10 girls are not even considering him, they’re considering the 3+/10 guys. When it comes to dating, girls generally get more attention and with that attention comes the option and the choice to select for the best. The best guys will likely be guys that are more attractive than her relatively. Your example is a bit extreme, but in general, average…

Just go on google maps, find a couple places you find interesting - done. It's better to be more assertive and have a place in mind generally. You can even just say it along the lines of: "There's a place I'm looking to try out, [insert place & details], we should go sometime". If she agrees, set a date and time.

I assume you mean you want to show sexual interest. Seems like you have already met these girls in person already so you need to be clear and direct here. The main way to convey this is through kino escalation. Ask her out on a date and make sure she knows it is an date. Actually using the word "date" so she doesn't think you guys are just hanging out and make it one on one. If she agrees to come on the date, offer a hug to her when you guys first meet up. I read the first paragraph and the “sort of” and how she talks about other men is already telling me she is not interested. If it was actually a date, and she is attracted to you and views you as a viable option, she wouldn’t be talking about other men. Looked at the chat and seems like she’s deflected your suggestive comment about the lingerie. She’s probably not attracted to you.

For a genuine long term serious relationship, yes. Be self aware and open to change but honestly you should be comfortable with someone you’re seriously dating for the long term. Trying to act like someone you’re not will not end well in the long run.

Im kinda sus’ed out by how far in advance she is trying to set up the date. Usually people aren’t this busy. Especially if they are truly interested, they’ll make you a priority. I’ve been in similar situations where the first date went well but then the girl got kinda flakey and we had to keep rescheduling. Usually those do not end well.

I can relate to this because I’ve only done online dating and I get pretty decent results but I have yet to actually try much in-person approaching. I agree with the part about escalation being super easy when you know she is probably already interested/attracted to you. I can also believe when you say that the biggest hurdle is the initial approach anxiety. Since you’re not used to it and you probably would have to face rejection a lot more directly whereas rejection online is more indirect. Ho…

Why are you even bringing these things up. Allow the silences to happen, don’t kiss on the first date, don’t have the same hobbies. If she agrees with you, she’ll be fine with those things. Bringing up these things will make you seem needy and desperate on your part.
/r/seduction07/06/24 12:03 AM

You shouldn’t be setting dates that far out in the first place. If you can’t meet her within the next 5 days, just assume there’s no date yet. Exactly as you said, tell her you’ll let her know. If she doesn’t respond when you reach out again, she wasn’t that interested in the first place. Obviously if a girl is very interested in you, it doesn’t matter. The date will happen no matter when you set it. This is more so for on the fence girls. In that case, there’s a high chance she will lose intere…

In the end, girls are also human beings. Think of a scenario where you wouldn’t sleep with a girl but you would give her your number. Maybe you were on the fence about her. Maybe you wanted to be polite. Maybe you were in a good mood during the conversation but you changed your mind later. Maybe you got better options later on or had better things to do. I did have a couple girls say I was the best they ever had but I did certainly get lazy recently. Though girls would still want a second round the morning after usually 😂. I also usually last a long time and I’m pretty dominant in bed so that checks off boxes for most girls.

But I also think if the sex was actually bad, we wouldn’t have hooked up even a 2nd or 3rd time. Yet, typically these engagements last for several months. It’s typically once they find out my body count and that I’m sleeping with other girls regularly that they start to lose interest lol
/r/seduction29/05/24 04:48 PM

You may also be sleeping with less attractive girls. They are more likely to be more interested in you and want a relationship. Try for more attractive ones, they probably will have higher standards for relationships.

I also don’t think fwb relationships are easy to maintain in the first place. They seem to be more of an intermediate step in most cases. Without emotional engagement or other compatibilities, it will eventually fizzle out as one or both of you find newer, more exciting partners. With emotional engagement and compatibilities, one of you will want something more eventually and it will either develop into something more or end.

I will say tho, it’s not you, it’s the girls. I’ve had this girl I’ve treated pretty poorly, not replying to her for days, her double texting me. Yet, she still stuck around and seems to be wanting a relationship. Yet, there’s other girls, that eventually lose interest after we hook up for a few months, and those girls I treat much better in terms of going on more expensive and well thought out dates and being more responsive.

I’d agree with this for any sort of in person interaction. On the contrary, I think I’m under thinking this. Girls are always under the impression I only want something casual because I keep it too simple and straight to the point.

You may be shooting above your pay grade. Girls around your level are going to expect a relationship. More attractive girls also have more options than less attractive girls, so from their perspective, why settle for just sex when they can easily get sex from most guys? Both are mostly correct - for men at least. On 1 - For most men, you will need to get attempt a lot and get rejected a lot to accrue a high body count. It's a numbers game. On 2 - Typically you get better over time as with anything, but the skill is not necessarily in romance but with increasing your body count more. You don't need to increase your body count or have a high body count to garner romantic interest. For women, there is not necessarily much of a concept of "attempt" or "skill" just …

If we're talking purely sexual attractiveness level. It is not necessarily below par, just below their level, particularly for men. For men it can be difficult to have hook ups with women at their level or above. But a top 1% man can still easily get above average women. But for women, it is easier to have hook ups with men at or above their level, but again the actual quality depends on the woman's own level. The above average women are still able to have high BC from attractive men.

You'll only look cringe or creepy if they are not attracted to you. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about that if you are cold-approaching. Rejection is part of the game. Even the "successful" guys probably have success rates below 50%. However, I wouldn't go straight from compliment to asking for contact info. Talk for at least 5-10 minutes before doing so. I also prefer instagram vs number as it's easier to put a name to face.

This is the way to go. I've learned this through experience. I know that even if it doesn't work out with one particular girl (ghosting/flaking), there will be three other very interested and receptive girls by next week. Sure, it may suck and I may like that one particular girl more than the others, but I also learned there's not much you can do to change her mind, so it really is more about what is the best use of your time and emotional energy at that point.

I personally don't do cold approach, though I might look into it in the near future just to try it out (perhaps as a rite of passage). I'm under the impression that unless you are at least a 6.5/10 in looks, it's not really worth your time to do cold approach and even then it will be mostly rejection (I'm assuming). Any reason you're looking in cold approach instead of online dating? Honestly, I'd like to hear more about your strategy for "handling the relationships". I'm personally not doing ve…

First problem: With online dating, a good profile with good pictures and good looks is key to getting matches. Your job, financial circumstances, and hobbies/interests do not matter much at this stage. They will matter once you actually start dating irl, but not at the online stage just given how many likes girls get, it's in their best interest to filter by looks. Second problem: This is partially out of your control. Just because you get a match, does not mean she is actually interested. Just …

If she is truly into you and not just entertaining you out of boredom. She'll stick around till then. But then again, there's no harm in arranging another date sooner. Just wait a few days and casually bring up another thing you guys can do together. You can't really mess up at this stage if she is really into you. If she only reached out on a whim then yeah, things will probably fizzle out pretty quick.

It's not worth it bro, I went from a Toyota to a Convertible and there's no noticeable difference in my success rate. However, this is also because I am mostly meeting girls online, so by the time they see my car they've already decided to go on a date with me. My choice in car probably did not have much of an impact. The exception for this may be hardcore car girls, but those are not common. You have to really consider when would the girls you're trying to get, would even know what car you driv…

It depends on her level of interest. A match does not mean interest, she could just be matching with you for validation or because she is bored. You want to screen these "time-wasters" out. Whether or not you actually end up meeting up with her depends on her level of interest and her intentions. I've found that with girls that actually end up meeting up with me, the conversations were effortless and they were super easy to make plans with. Most girls that gave me a hard time typically did not f…

I'd like to think FWB is a temporary phase. You cannot maintain such a relationship perpetually, either it develops to something more, fizzles out, or one of you ends up getting involved with someone else. You can have maintain platonic friendships perpetually, because there is no concept of exclusivity with them. FWB arrangements will eventually end unless both of you plan to be single and polygamous forever. Say it one of you gets into a relationship, its highly unlikely you will be able to ma…

Tbh, my rate is high through hardcore screening. I’ve been told that I’m pretty dry over text so any girl that does meet up with me is likely already highly attracted just based off my pictures alone which results in a higher success rate for hook ups. But this tactic revolves around getting a good amount of matches first and then going with the top 5% that’s most interested in you. I rarely double text as that’s an indicator of lower interest on the girls part not necessarily in you but could j…

Philly but I’ve gotten even more matches when I was traveling in cities like NY and LA so I reckon it would be even “easier” if I lived in a bigger city

Tinder has the highest success rate for me, almost every single first date has led to a hook up. However, I get the majority of my dates and hence hook ups from Hinge. However, the success rate is closer to 50%.

I don’t change my mind afterwards. I’m not concerned about the women that I only wanted for a fling. I generally know from the first date if I’m interested in something more and I treat them differently from the start, for example: going on a date vs just inviting them over, offering to make them breakfast, giving them a ride, inviting them to go to events or on trips with me, etc. I think the problem is that my “differently” is not sufficient. And with online dating you kind of need to go on th…

I agree, date costs have been adding up and I have lost interest in just having sex so I have been more selective with my dates. But it seems that even when I am interested, I come off as not. Is it because I never give compliments? or I never tell them that I like them? or I just have an expressionless face? Even my most recent ex told me that it didn't seem like I was that interested in her and it was my actions (making a physical advances, planning trips, taking her out to do things she likes…

I suspect my authentic self is just this reserved though. I actually actively try to engage the girls on dates and with girls I’ve already hooked up with, I don’t hold back at all on subsequent interactions or dates. But I am wondering if even my “normal” base line level is not enough - there has been dates where I’m not holding back at all, I feel like I am asking all the questions I want and saying all the things I want but the girl comes back with “you’re not really saying much or asking me m…

I'm no pro at doing this in public, but typically if she ends up at your place or invites you to her place - 80% she is down to kiss you. Once you are in a private setting, sit on a couch/bed and invite her to join you, then assess her body language (how close she is sitting to you). Put your arm around her and if she seems comfortable with this, it is almost 100% chance that she is comfortable with you kissing her. Only 1 girl has rejected my kiss after making it to this point, and it wasn't be…
