This just isn't his wheelhouse and people think it is. Small amount of overlap, maybe. TRP is about sex. Full stop. I'm a major JBP Stan, his ideas about sex, dating and marriage don't jive with TRP directly. I actually think I can write this up, maybe I do one day

This re-re-post reads like a Facebook rant from one of my Super Woke friends who answers any questions with "it's not my job to educate you" so let me be blunt: What is your fucking point?

I'd say its more the frequency and the subject. You can cry over a death, even be bummed over getting fired (briefly). What you can't do is get upset over anything trivial.

Fuck all these insecure punks in this thread. My mother was nutty like this, my father wasn't around much. I didn't stary figuring out how to be a man until my 20s. What I'm saying is my teenage self probably was a lot like your boy is now. That being said, what I needed was a good male role model in my life. Be that, thats all you can really do, even if your situation was a happy marriage, it's all you can do (or atleast the most important thing). Spend as much time with him as you can, and tea…

Facing your fear is the only way to overcome it. Most of our fears are all bark and no bite. Juat go do it and you'll see what you're afraid either a) didn't happen or b) wasn't actually that bad at all. Don't be less afraid, be more brave.

If it was me I'd confront her, keeping it short. Don't waste your time with evidence and arugments and explanations. "I know you've been cheating, we're breaking up." Then untangle your life from hers and move on. I know you're full of emotions rn, but acting on them will only come back yo damage you on the long run. Go bury your face in a some tits and a sweet smile.

The fact that your asking says you're not completely comfortable with it. She's gonna do what she's gonna do, give back what you wanna give back. Personally, I fucking love cuddling - not so much the googly eyes stuff. Also seems like you're concerned she's too attached and the plate will drop if u don't reciprocate.

I bartend, have for years. Im not going to write you a novel but i will say this: Don't pussyfoot around. Dont have one foot in flirting and one foot in "casual bar conversation" pick one and go with it. Night in and night out i see dudes hovering and lingering, never making a real move because they're scared. And do you know what the women they're creeping out do? They find a way to talk to me because you won't either pull the trigger or fuck off. And then I AMOG you for a bigger tip. So my pie…

Do not listen to this guy about mateguarding right now. You're just going to create more drama and further project your insecurity. You're treating this as a problem to solve, there is no problem. The only problem here is your perception. You think the things in your post are signs you're gonna lose your girl, they're not. What you need to understand is that even if you lose your girl, everything's gonna be okay. You do have value, you have something women want, do not spoil that by getting all …

Quit at the beginning of the year. Best thing I've ever done hands down. I was never a serious alcoholic, but I realized one day that all of my social activities involved alcohol in some form, and I didn't really have a good reason why I drank other than "everybody else is and I don't want FOMO". Legit, I did not realize all of the benefits I'd have after just a month. Depression - gone. Anxiety - normal. No more freaking out over little shit just stuff that's actually daunting (job interviews, …

Just read your edit. Dude you're a teenager, you're smitten. I actually don't know what advice to give you other than you've just gotta go through it. "Abundance" for almost all of us is learned the hard way. One day it just clicks and you find yourself no longer upset by flakes and rejection, you know there's always other girls out there, and that you have something to offer them. I know young guys hate hearing this from us older dudes, but you'll learn as you get older. Good news is you're her…

Everybody's making all kinds of assumptions and giving you "advice" based on shit they're making up. It's okay to be hurt, and it's okay to have feelings for women. Don't let this fuck your head up in the future. If it were me, I'd be upset there wasn't a fight. I would feel like I deserved answers, maybe you feel the same. I know this won't sound good now, but we've all been dumped pretty hard before, and we've all gotten back on the horse and crushed it, you will too in time. One day you'll be…

I don't think so, what you got out of that talk was 1) letting her know if she really "loves" you she should stop fucking with your schedule/routine 2) a mutual agreement to delete and move on. You're past the worst of it, I think. Having an honest conversation seldom hurts

I've found there's a balance you have to strike, not between placating or not, but between contributing honestly (from the self) to a convo and what is you just adding "filler" too. If you're going to question your words before you speak, question how the thought contributes instead of how it will be received. "Do I need to say this or am I just flapping my lips?"
/r/askTRP25/03/19 09:30 PM
3

It's fairly simple; don't placate. If you're worried about the other person reacting negatively to what you say, you're in their frame. If you don't, you're fine. Don't be afraid of people not liking you for being yourself, don't adjust your thoughts or beliefs or actions to "soften" them because you're afraid of turning somebody off to you, because believe it or not doing so will turn them off to you. I took a girl I had just met home a few years back, some how during foreplay/pillow talk polit…

Dude I actually have a trick for this. Physically speaking anxiety and excitement feel almost the same. When you see pro athletes before a game, they're not anxious, they're excited. Even though the outcome is never a guarantee, hell they could get hurt and end their career that day. But they're excited because they're where they wanna be doing what they wanna do. Just tell yourself in your mind that you aren't anxious, you're excited and think about what you may have to look forward to. If you'…

I think it really varies. You can be forthcoming about your struggles but what you don't get to do is act like a little bitch about it. "It's tough, I've got this but here's what I need from you" vs "omg it's all Soo hard plz come hold me mommy" Just stay closer to the former and you'll be fine

I have insta, I maybe spend 5 mins a day on it, it gets boring pretty quickly, but I find it a much better way to keep up with my people than Facebook, which I didn't even bother to delete, I just don't use it. I don't see how everybody is so cold about this. She's your LTR, not a plate or a ONS. You clearly care for her. Your life is clearly negatively affected by this, as well. How much do you need to do in order to feel okay about leaving? Or What needs to happen for you to feel okay about staying?

I personally love his work on Meaning and then psychological signifigance of story archetypes, it's made my life a lot richer in myriad ways, and helped me build a solid emotional and psychological frame that really allowed me to unlock potential and gain agency over my destiny. TRP gives him grief because he's a Tradcon with an excellent career, a 30 year marriage, children - the whole American dream and pitches that it can still be had today. Some call it the Blue pill dream. I find it strange…

Everybody has an intuition, how it affects our decisions varies from person to person, but we all have one. She knows you just want to smash. She also wants to smash, but she doesn't trust you. Tell her the truth. Just fucking laying it out there has gotten me past LMR almost every time. LMR is about trust, she needs to trust that she's not going to damage her reputation, or allow herself to get played emotionally if she fucks you. I never made the effort to resub trp on mobile because I was seeing the same shit. The only reason I still lurk here (asktrp) is to help out some of these bitter young guys if I can. Getting trapped in the anger phase is real, fuck, I did it at one point. It's all a game. Trp teaches you the rules and some strategies, tips to improve, etc but it's still just a game at the end of the day. Why u haf to be mad?

I want to add that foreplay starts before the bedroom. Flirt, tease, touch, allure - do things to make her look forward to the fun times that are to be had when you get back to your place. This works especially well if you can do it on the down low in public. My girl loves it when I whispered dirty shit in her ear while we're out and about.b

I honestly only cum 50% of the time I have sex now. Still love it, still feels great but if I do too many "too close but still wanna fuck more" breaks eventually it gets really difficult to cum. When a round 2 happens I'll usually make that more about me and instead of an hour it'll be like 10 minutes
/r/askTRP02/12/18 12:42 AM

You've handled everything well so far, passive aggressive SM posts is the only way you lose ground here. Finish that project and find a new girl.
/r/askTRP29/11/18 07:43 PM

It's clear she's about to break up. Just text her back and be real about it. Don't be all pissy and "alpha" about it like half these dudes are telling you to, this isn't a zero sum game, you don't have to "win". Tell her you know what the deal is, that she doesn't need to drop by, and that's it was fun, best of luck. Don't get butthurt or try to make some dumb "your shit is out front" power move. It's over, and you're completely okay with that.
/r/askTRP01/11/18 09:27 PM
2

Practice homie. You're aware of what went wrong, you have ideas about what to do about it, get out there and give it another try. You're doing fine man, we all make dumb moves sometimes. You are at least clever enough to see what they are, now what can you do to improve?
/r/askTRP01/11/18 06:50 PM

What's important is being able to feel comfortable as "either one". You're a guy who can be fun and social, but you also like to just chill sometimes. Don't sweat it.

I'm 30. If I could go back and do it all over I would. I fucked off school, I partied a lot, I focused zero effort on my future. I had a LOT of fun, made a bunch of friends, and did okay with girls. However, I could've done all that and focused on myself primarily at the same time. I promise you, if you focus on your studies, plan for the future and stick to it, lift, and stay active in positive activities (sports, arts, music, literally anything that interests you and has a "club") there will s…

Welcome to the grind homeboy. Hit it hard and you'll feel great about yourself come next summer, I guarantee it, but I can tell you that reaching whatever ideal you have for yourself takes years. This happened to me the first few times I went into shavasana (sp?) during yoga. Just because negative emotional displays in front of partners (or potentials) only hurts your game doesn't mean you aren't a human with a human psyche and human emotions. And keeping your "head right" is as basic a need as food and shelter. As men we're expected to process our emotions differently, and out of sight of women, but we still must process them. Trauma is real, and you don't get to choose which things are…

It's about how much you're willing to risk yourself by doing so. It's the same reason you don't get physical with people on drugs. Like, have you ever had a boss who reacts poorly to bad news? Same type deal. He's already going out on a limb but getting involved.

His "friends" don't really give a shit about him, because in the context of young people in bars, being beta af adds zero value to the group. For me it was the understanding that if I want to keep that door open, the best course of action is to let it go and move on. A chick who's flakey may come back around, a chick who you tell off for being flakey is just gonna double form and resent you. If you feel like you've gotta get the point across, do it playfully.

Don't tell him, it'll only cause resentment, just teach him how to make you cum - you're going to be doing this with every partner you have, everybody's different. Be vocal in bed about what feels good, what you like/don't like, when you're close, etc. Ask him to do what you want. That's how sex works, you train your partner to do what you like and they train you. Flip it around for a second: if your man thought you sucked on top or were terrible at oral, would you rather him tell you you're bad…

I heard this piece of advice awhile ago, and it's been popping into my brain a lot lately: "The thing you're avoiding doing is exactly the thing you should be doing." Something makes you uncomfortable, do it anyway. Are you afraid of (doing a thing/speaking your mind)? Do it anyway. Anytime you're reminded of this, you're doing a thing that helps you build your frame.

I think The 4 Hour Work Week isn't for people who aren't entrepreneurs or in an industry where they can put it to practical use. If you're a tradesman, for example, you won't be gleaming much practical advice from T4HWW. If you're a programmer, or run a business it's a gold.

I'd read it anyway, I downed it over the course of two cross country plane rides. For me, it put discipline into a perspective I could easily digest and internalize. I feel I got a lot out of it.

These posts are awesome. The fact that I'll have done 1000 push ups this month by the end of today is crazy to me. Thanks for taking the time to do this TFA, I look forward to the days challenge as soon as I get up in the morning. Almost finished with 1984, thinking about finally tackling Dostoyevsky next. The answer to your question is : it doesn't matter. Why do you want to make her feel guilty? Why do you even care? I'll answer that for you, you want more from this girl than she wants from you. The fact that you want to "illicit a reaction" screams insecurity. Why don't you passive aggressively leave a vague note on her car, or put her toothbrush in the toilet? You need to take a step back and reevaluate yourself.

The way I see it - if you game the same way that your average, productive person watches TV (an hour or two here or there) then it's not a big deal at all. After all, it's essentially an interactive version of television. It's an analogy, it's crude but that shouldn't affect the idea behind it. All mammals "shit test" or test their position on the social hierarchy, and certain traits lead certain individuals to success within the group. Those traits are found to be attractive to the opposite sex, and each sex has its own unique traits which allow it to dominate socially. Sounds reasonable, doesn't it? I think people get drawn into gender issues in online debate because we all have a bias. We're all on either 'team men' or 'team women', and we all have some kind of opinion on what's right and what's wrong. Granted, most of this is just stuff we picked up from our parents and sitcoms as kids, but we feel like we know what we're talking about because we've got the equipment down there. Here's an interesting fact: People actually get a little hit of dopamine every time they "shut down" an argument that runs counter to their own ideology. They don't do it for any other reason than it makes them feel good to reassure themselves they've got it all figured out.

Nah, I'm saying I legitimately haven't even heard the term comfort test before, but now that it's described here I realized I get them all the time. I'm pretty positive it's not security or personality issues (at least not beyond the insecurity that most all women deal with). Wouldn't comfort tests be kind of a by-product of good dread game?

I know the Paleo diet gets a lot of shit, but if you're somebody who's looking for a quick way to learn how to eat and cook healthy going some degree of Paleo for a month or two can be very helpful. It's hard to eat junk food when all you can eat is fruit, veggies, meat, and nuts. When I did it I ate dairy and white potatoes too yet I had no choice but to cook a good meal when I needed to eat. Going Paleo can be used a crash course on how to eat and cook healthy.

I think everybody is overreacting. FPH actively encouraged its members to go out into the world, be cruel to fatties, and return with proof for laughs. Shitlording is pretty text book harassment. Its one thing to put somebody in their place, its something entirely different to go out seeking 'undesirables' and try to drag them down (further). RP men have no business shitlording. You did nothing but share your opinion, nothing wrong with that. It's the notion that a woman's opinion on women holds greater sway than a man's that got us all seeking out Seddit and PUA in the first place. I in no way want to discourage you from posting, I just don't think you should be top commented because you're a girl, you should be top commented because you have the top comment.
/r/seduction20/02/14 05:37 AM

First of all, this should be the top comment, seeing as you are actually a female. I think that fits with the notion. It should be the top comment because it is the most popularly accepted idea, not because it comes from a female. I don't mean to put you on blast personally, I'm seeing this everywhere. I think I might make a post about it.

Good advice is good advice regardless of who it comes from. However I can tell you from my own personal experience that I used that same exact shitty line ("I'm not the jealous type") when I first started out and it worked out for me, and led to a few month long fling. I'm just sick of the notion that "OH! A woman said it! It must be true!" Like you should take my advice on cars just because I'm a man.

First of all, this should be the top comment, seeing as you are actually a female. Umm, isn't the real reason most of us are here is because we've been taking dating advice from women our wholes lives? Granted, in this instance she's totally correct and I agree with her (that's a really shitty canned line) , but I'm seeing a lot of top comments lately that say things like "I would know because I'm a girl" or "who would know better than a woman" like that's some sort of trump card, and in my pers…
