The book hasn't been released for free by the authoress, so I would suggest to substitute the Mediafire link, which is an illegal download, with a link to the book website. I'm not a copyright troll/moralfag or anything, it's just to avoid possible hassles.

In the case of the Korean men seeking brides abroad, I'm assuming the rationale is that it's unlikely that a 18-year-old Vietnamese girl from some village would have her hymen reconstructed. It's a big deal even in Britain among Westernized British Asians. (Archived page for backup), I can only imagine how big of a deal must be in Asia proper. Not to mention in some Islamic countries where women could literally risk their lives.

Let's put it this way: if Woman 1 has an intact hymen and Woman 2 doesn't, all other things being equal, a betting man who wants a virgin would go for Woman 1. Again, I'm not endorsing this. I just think that's the line of thinking that a guy who cares about this stuff would follow.

Korean guys have their Vietnamese virgin brides-to-be tested for virginity before sealing the deal. I used to think that was a bit over the top. Not anymore. Edit: Yes, I'm aware that it's not a 100% reliable test. Tell them, not me. And no, I don't necessarily endorse it, it just make sense in that context.

I wish every man could, at least once, be able to witness what women do and say in absence of social control*, like when they're on vacation or when they expect to have a degree of anonymity. You learn how ingrained their power of dissimulation is and that pedestal crumbles pretty fucking quick. I wish my idealized, Disneyesque views of love had turned out to be true, and I could have run off into the sunset with The One™ and never had to worry about how to be a man. If they are testing you, you failed. I have always thought this. You should aim to reach the point where testing you would become absurd, because your alphaness, whatever that means in that particular context, is not questioned at all. She either submits or doesn't engage. Would a woman shit-test Tom Cruise? Arnold Schwarznegger? Prince William? A rockstar? A captain of industry? Unlikely.

This kind of course attracts more of its fair share of "merely curious." It doesn't represent most medical professionals, male or female. All the women I know who do this kind of job are extremely competent. They have to be, or they wouldn't last very long.

Yes, we can. We're not talking about uneducated Filipino or Indian peasants from the province. In general it's very easy to get a younger wife in SE Asia. One could provide countless examples, your (cool) uncle is one of the many. I'm sure it wil not be a problem for you to find a bride, especially if you can provide for a family. It seems to me that the smaller the age gap, the more educated the girl will be. Middle class/bourgeois girls seem to be more concerned about it, usually avoiding an age gap wider than 10-15 years, and they might not be open to dating expats because of a stigma.
