The Parsemus Foundation (the guys working on RISUG/Vasalgel) needs our help to fund their baboon study. It's the last step before human trials.

At first I thought "A profit-making institution is asking us for capital to create something that they will own, sell, and derive a profit on?"

Looking into it a bit more, came across this page http://www.parsemusfoundation.org/vasalgel-home/ which explains some more about the need for investment, and how it is organized more like a corporation backed by an NGO/nonprofit.

"Vasalgel is being developed by the foundation as a “social venture,” a company that makes enough money to stay afloat but not to make anybody rich, with affordable pricing and wide availability as its mandate. The social venture company within the foundation is moving fast on getting the first steps done; however, it won’t have enough money to finish the project, and will be fundraising later this year and turning to the public next year to crowdfund the clinical trials."

Sounds like a good idea to help out, given above research :)

I will be contributing. If anyone can, please help. It would give men and boys more agency to their reproductive rights... something they desperately need. I own body shops and many of my employees struggle financially because so much of their income comes out at the end of every week. I even pay one of the orders myself because it is so egregious he wouldn't be able to even feed himself. All of these orders exist because of mistakes made when they were 16-21. The more options available, the more we make a dent in this problem.

Not a good idea to shout the fact that it's being tested on animals. The feminists could hire ALF hitmen to do their dirty work.
