Why is it hard to see multiple points of views and be open to discuss it. Rather than getting mad at people who don't take offense to it. Not everything she said is determined by gender. Just because you have a daughter doesn't mean she's less likely to do the things which was stated for having a son. I think it's okay to help other men. Obviously use your own due diligence in every situation. Most men don't even ask for help, but you could atleast offer. I once had a guy watch me park my car and came up to me to ask me to help him move something heavy out of his truck. I helped him, and it felt nice. He was in his 60s and I don't think he would've been able to do it himself.

There was once a kid running around the store and she came from a corner and I barely hit her with my cart. I wanted to be caring and say "oh, are you okay?" Then help look for the parent. I didn't there was a couple watching this happen, and I didn't want to get looked at as if I was a pedo or something. I just waited for her to start running again and ignored her.

As a man I got help at the gym the other day. I was doing calf raises and couldn't lift the weight to where the rest position is. I didn't want help because I almost got there and didn't give up. Regardless some man had came and pulled it up for me. Instead of getting mad at him I just gave him a thumbs up and continued on.

I was once chivalrous (okay way more than chivalrous). By paying for 2 women's drinks while at a club.
