I'm feeling Schadenfreude over the Roe v. Wade decision. I honestly don't really care about abortion. But I love seeing the tidal wave of angry comments from women about how their government has let them down. You know that white speck on top of chicken shit, people can call it whatever they want, but it's still chicken shit. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/22 09:25 PM

You guys are a self defeating prophecy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/22 05:09 PM |
I'm feeling Schadenfreude over the Roe v. Wade decision. I honestly don't really care about abortion. But I love seeing the tidal wave of angry comments from women about how their government has let them down.Strong incel vibes in this post. The basis of this leaked abortion decision is going to ripple out and impact America in very negatives ways. | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/22 02:15 PM
If you get married you’re a fucking IDIOTDamn brother, I say this with respect...but you need therapy man. Life is too short to be that upset at 50% of the population. You don't want to go down the path of an incel. | /r/Divorce_Men | 26/04/22 11:50 PM
Man, rough week. Back in the town where we shared a home for 7+ years for the first time since I moved out 9 months ago.I've been doing that. I think bottling up feelings for years probably didn't help my marriage and definitely hurt my relationship with my kids. It was hard at one point to even be able to tell my kids I loved them without choking up or compliment them for the little things. Today really sucked but I'd rather hurt emotionally rather than be a cold individual and not allow myself to feel the good in life as well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/04/22 01:53 AM
Man, rough week. Back in the town where we shared a home for 7+ years for the first time since I moved out 9 months ago.Anxiety and pure sadness hitting me hard. I don't even understand why. I poured my heart and soul into this community and our home for years and at the end of the day all that is left is my kid(s) and a ton of memories, good and bad. I've been struggling mentally for a few weeks and it's kind of come to a head this week. I have to meet up with coworkers I haven't seen since the pandemic this week as well. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/04/22 06:39 PM
| -1 | For All the men here * Please read*This starts off reading like you're going down the path of an incel. Don't do that brother. You can harbor some negative feelings for your ex, but don't transfer that to every woman. Nothing good comes from that! Women and men are both flawed creatures. Becoming the best version of ourselves for our kids and most importantly for yourself attracts the right individuals. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/22 11:26 PM |
How long?No one would ask about your medication. No one has to know. Do what's best for you and if if medication gets you to a stable and healthy place, that's something employers definitely want. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/22 02:13 PM
How long? It's a process. If you're not seeing a therapist I'd highly recommend doing so. I'm a year and a half out from when she quit on the marriage and have been through high and lows. Struggling with anxiety right now myself but working everyday to get better. Life is and can be pretty damn good if we can just get out of our own heads! Don't be afraid to go on medication other. You're stronger for admitting you need some help rather than bottling it up. | /r/Divorce_Men | 05/04/22 02:23 AM
Sock day came unexpectedly. Mixed bag of emotions including relief but anxiety.Filed a motion to expedite based in multiple factors and was shocked to find out the judge agreed. It's done. No more $2k monthly legal bills to lawyers in different states. No more fighting over child custody schedules. I'm relieved it's over but also have been fighting for so long I'm anxious about what comes next. I never wanted this in the first place, mostly glad it happened. My relationship with my kids has never been stronger. I actually feel like a father again rather than just someone w… | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/22 01:31 AM
Need some advice from some wise menYou're at two different stages in your life. Think back to where you were at 24. You were the comforting factor in her life for a while and you got some young tail out of it. I'm in my 40s now and don't think I could date someone in their 20s or 30s for this reason alone. Find someone who is on the same speed as you in life. | /r/Divorce_Men | 27/03/22 02:33 AM
*RANT* Over $15k in, still no signed agreement despite multiple handshake dealsIn a place where 50/50 custody doesn't happen unless you negotiate before court. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/22 06:00 PM
*RANT* Over $15k in, still no signed agreement despite multiple handshake dealsUntil any agreement is signed, it doesn't hold up in court. Can't even mention the negotiations. | /r/Divorce_Men | 16/03/22 01:18 PM
*RANT* Over $15k in, still no signed agreement despite multiple handshake dealsThankfully all but the child support is already worked out. She walked away with $400k in cash and still has a chunk of my retirement accounts. I worked my ass off, and did all the investments in our marriage. She shopped amazon and took time off from work as she was stressed. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/03/22 05:21 PM
*RANT* Over $15k in, still no signed agreement despite multiple handshake dealsI want to fight back, but at the same time she's the mother of my children. I don't want them in the middle of this. I've had them in therapy for 6 months already. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/03/22 05:18 PM

*RANT* Over $15k in, still no signed agreement despite multiple handshake dealsIn my state getting 50/50 custody without an agreement in place before going to court is at best a crapshoot. My lawyer is continuing to advise against it. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/03/22 03:01 PM

AITA: Forgetting to pay child support on a Temp custody orderI get that, but so is she. I've made 100% certain that my kid(s) needs are taken care of. She makes just under 6 figures herself as well. I guess what I'm asking, are my actions ethically justifiable? | /r/Divorce_Men | 22/02/22 06:59 PM

Is there a support group similar to AA that I can participate in? Feeling lonely and fearful. How is order of man? Any political overtones? The first article on their page talks about resisting employer mandates and that reeks of politics to me. Wanting to avoid all that. | /r/Divorce_Men | 09/08/21 02:39 PM

Remember: YOU'RE the prize. So much this. My STBX hosed bought a new place that is an absolute shithole she has no idea how to fix (other than to stroke checks from her "half"). The moving company she hired and was 3 days late on picking up her shit is now holding onto it for 30 days, so she's sleeping on a blow up mattress. She can't even manage to get an account for internet at her new place. Karma is a bitch! She used to complain to me that when she talked to me I would try to solve her problems, and then she'd complain… | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/21 12:10 PM
How to save legal fees - 10 tipsUnfortunately that's just for the separation agreement and temp custody orders. I am still going to fight for 50/50 custody. | /r/Divorce_Men | 21/07/21 12:10 PM
How to save legal fees - 10 tipsI spent $9300 in 6 weeks to negotiate a settlement agreement. $4400 of it in a single day during mediation. $3k last week alone fighting over one sentence in the stupid custody order. Valuable advice but painful to pay. | /r/Divorce_Men | 20/07/21 03:04 PM

| -3 | Mind games during divorce? No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Robert Glover. I just googled that. Holy shit it sounds toxic. Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reily are the folks who backed it? I certainly am guilty of being the nice guy myself that has bitten me more times than once in my still fairly new divorce, but taking advice from people that align with those two don't seem to be in any single males best interest in a modern world. | /r/Divorce_Men | 11/07/21 10:33 PM |
