A dual mating strategy was the best adaptation in an environment of non-stop violence and scarcity of resources. We don't live in the environment we adapted to anymore.

Do people really have a specific wish for a son or daughter? I always just assumed until they find out at an appointment everyone is just happy to have the baby, the sex just being bonus information.

Evolution provided them with a dual mating strategy, concealed estrus, and a cuckolding instinct to increase the chances that the best genes will proliferate.

Men are raped in wars all the time, children too. Women don't hold a monopoly on rape and suffering. If we are equals under the law, then let us be equals. If men must fight, so too should women.

Because when men are sexually attracted to women we want to have sex immediately. Unimpeded by anything else, that would be our ideal outcome. Men don't make a distinction between making a woman wait to have sex, because there is no ideal wait, it's to have sex now. A man with a short term relationship in mind wants sex with that woman now and a man with a long term relationship wants sex with that woman now as well as many times well into the future. Lying in general is bad. No one should be ly…

Their way of rating is unintuitive and frankly dumb. No one considers the actual lot of humans in the world and places them in anything other than a uniform distribution like you. "Yo look at that chick! She's a solid 9" "Akshually she's more like 8th percentile with a standard deviation of 3!"
/r/PurplePillDebate20/01/22 07:24 AM
2

Is that some gaussian distribution based on an actual population of judged individuals? When most people judged a person 1-10, it's usually with 1 being the theoretically ugliest person they can imagine and a 10 being the most attractive but no one rating matching any one person. Why the unintuitive scale there?

He leans heavily into a Jungian worldview especially concerning unconscious processes which I love. It sounds goofy to people that don't connect with it but it really shows how we're simultaneously acting out our own desires, and functions, of our wills, and seemingly the desires of these shadow elements of our animal nature. I haven't seen that particular video but he delves into it more in various taped lectures on youtube.

This ties into the RP idea that men lack intrinsic value and must become something to be cared about. Not good enough for her? Become better. Became good enough? Yay, you did it. You have value now and you have your girl. Don't become something? You didn't lose anything, you just didn't get anywhere either. It can build up over the years for men that deeply care about it. Women validate men as they are the biological filter for the species. Didn't make it through any filters? You're a dead end. …

Wish there was a requirement that subs deemed undesirable had to directly pay for the servers to maintain access to their site. Reddit could vote and deem _____ topic unacceptable for mainstream thought but still allow it to exist if its supporters pay for it. Failure to pay would mean the sub closes down. No censorship needed, everything that isn't patently illegal to say out loud is allowed, and reddit gets more money. Wrongthink communities would be opt-in-only. Win win win?

They have an actual abundance of options. There's always another willing dude just waiting around the corner? The cost of bailing is non-existent. Sure, they may have just passed on their dream dude because of some frivolous reason, but that doesn't matter, new guy is waiting. Their options increase but the quality of those options goes down.

The world doesn't exist as a binary. It's far too simple and inelegant to just read the TRP sidebar, conclude men are fucked, and give up and die. The entire point of TRP is to understand reality as it is, accept it completely and then decide how you'd like to proceed. If it was hopeless, there wouldn't be thousand page screeds by terpers on techniques, tips, and endless theorizing about human nature. Nothing stopping you from seeing an escort, get to it.

I don't think men get alpha widowed in the same way women do. That is, they pine for a long-lost partner that no other can ever compare to and as a result become unable to bond with another person. I think the male version of being alpha-widowed is basically having oneitis. The imperative is to have sex. The reward for successfully doing so is an orgasm. Having an orgasm outside of sex still feels great, but it's not what is motivating men to have sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 11:48 PM
3

You're thinking like a modern human informed by science with the ability of hindsight. The reward for the risk is orgasm. That's it. Again, the imperative is to have unlimited amounts of sex. Children or STD's and even being devoured after the act like praying mantis are not even in the backseat of this hypothetical man's mind. The sole biological reason for your existence is to eat, sleep, breathe, and try to fuck. Everything else, is background noise.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 11:38 PM
1

What doesn't make sense about it? The instinct is to have as much sex as humanly possible and then move on immediately after. You (this hypothetical Chad caveman) don't care what happens after. You don't care if she's infertile even. To the male lizard brain, doesn't matter, had sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 11:27 PM
2

Yes that's commonly stated as being the Male Sexual Imperative. It's our instinct uninformed by anything other than biology. Luckily, our wants and desires are shaped by things other than instinct. Biology is the single greatest influencer on our behavior, as it sets the initial conditions, but it doesn't have the final word in what we'll do.

It's instinct. It must be consciously overridden as it no longer serves its purpose. Saving women and girls from early death was more important when humans were simple hunter gatherers. The loss of a single woman could easily signal the downfall of that group/tribe. Men are disposable cannon fodder as far as biology is concerned, so having the worthless save the worthwhile is just icing on the cake. No man today, living in a city, should die for some random woman or kid, unless it's his personal…

Oof. Good observations! I understand their desire to just want to sit there and have their suitors just keep popping up and offering interest while they get to play judge and jury. Hypergamy isn't necessarily bad. From the woman's perspective it's a means to getting more bang for her buck. If she can get a better man than she currently has then it means (to her lizard brain) she's undershot her own market value. To her, she belongs with the better man, if she can attract him. The point at which she can no longer trade up is the point where she's found her market value and should be happy. The reality of hypergamy is that if you constantly are looking for an upgrade to your…

This made me think of that marshmallow test given to children. Where a researcher will put a single marshmallow on a table and tell the child they can eat that one right now, OR, they can wait 5min and the researcher will give them another, just for waiting, and they get two marshmallows total. You're not wrong. The common retort from women is that they aren't "rewarding" men for anything. Which is true, they're not using operant conditioning to train men to gain a desired outcome, not consciously anyway. Men too would say they don't feel rewarded either! No dude will conciously think "I'm a douchebag, and I get tons of sex for it!" Yet all the evidence is there, laid out for all to see. Men will always be valued for how much pull they have with women. Nothing will ever change that. Sex bots will hopefully allow seemingly unattractive men to feel a sense of connection and fulfillment outside of women while still satisfying their sexual and emotional needs. I think it's unwise to want a sexbot to basically be a woman that can't say no, what would be the point? Maybe they can be something else entirely. All they have to do is trigger the extremely primitive sexual response in men,…

Men's Issues will be taken seriously when they can be conclusively shown to be harming women. Meaning, if you can show that ignoring Men's Issue X/Y/Z which causes harm to men also significantly causes harm to women, you might have a chance. Women dominate the public social narrative, and unless every male issue is reframed in a light that makes women the ultimate end-victim, nothing will change for men. If only a small percentage of all men do it, then yeah it'll make you more physically attractive (assuming that's your only problem). But if a significant portion of men turn to it then the net gain will be zero. Is it some deep intimate force throughout the universe that houses special meaning aside from any other emotions? Nope. Enjoy it for what it is, but like all emotions, it will change with time, and recede. Attraction thresholds are requirements though. Men must meet several thresholds to some degree as determined by that particular woman's needs/desires. All women just need to meet one requirement (physical attraction) to be sexually desirable. It's not a positive for men to need to fit more checkboxes, it makes it harder, not easier.

Yeah if those emotions are the ones women want to see, when they want to see them, and not too intensely. Otherwise no. Not by a long shot. That's great except with rising sexlessness among men, exactly how will denying men the sex they're already not having be any sort of punishment for not supporting women? The men women are already fucking en-masse are already in favor of abortion because they can abscond from having to pay child support for their otherwise numerous offspring. Sex strike is ineffective, and frankly childish. It really shows where women (in favor of sex strikes) derive their sense of power and agency from. Of all …

Conflating MGTOW with incels is just bad faith. Do your due diligence and at least make an attempt to know something about it. MGTOW walk away from marriage and cohabitation with women. Incels desperately desire female validation and attention. The two are polar opposites in their desired outcome. I understand if mods want to avoid anything MGTOW as if the mere word is like whispering Voldemort's name aloud. But don't conflate. There are many MGTOW that are mens rights activists, and you do a se…

Excellent! I am glad to see there is common ground on the notion of "gender essentialism" such as it is. I do find it useful as a framework to orient ourselves when comparing the experiences of men and women. While I cannot say your path is the right one for me I wish you the best and hope it works out for you! I seek the best outcome for all, men and women. If marriage is your path, so be it. The best of luck to you and your spouse.

Agreed. I cannot say what MGTOW advocates for as a group outside of no marriage, and no cohabitation. Those are the core tennets and anything beyond is down to the individual man espousing his beliefs. I do not see women as a risk but the state itself, vying on behalf of the welfare of women at my expense. Women are simply women. They are wonderful in their own right. If you have no close personal connections with women I feel sad for you, for you are surely missing out. However, I would be remi…

If this is the opinion of the majority then I, and like minded individuals will fit in well here. I too am against misogyny, misandry and rigid gender essentialism. Although to be honest I do believe a certain degree of gender essentialism to be true but that's not important. Marriage is indeed a heavy personal decision and I agree the disdain for it is entirely valid.

Anything critical of women is considered verboten. You cannot have any discussion of women that portrays them in a negative light as a group or you will be mischaracterized as a woman hater or some other such socially undesirable. edit: There are a ton of men that genuinely hate women and they should be disparaged for this hatred. There are also many men that are critical of women. These two groups should not be confused. You can be critical of women and their behavior/beliefs as much as anythin…

A man has no value in today's world. Men are one of the most valuable resources on the planet. He is not a sexual entity and he cannot provide anything that a woman cannot provide for herself. Every human being is a sexual entity. Also, just because you can do something yourself doesn't render it useless as an attractant to the opposite sex. I can cook for myself, but having someone else cook for me means so much more. "Men going their own way" is a reactionary movement but in actuality its wome…

Castrating men would do nothing to stop sexual assaults though. Under feminist theory sexual assaults have nothing to do with sex and are just a way for men to show power over women. So sex drive or not, men would still be assaulting people if their theory is true. In reality it would just mean men still sexually assault people but can no longer get them pregnant either. So that's a plus? It also does nothing to protect men from predatory women either.

Women have much higher standards for themselves than men do. They also feel disgust much more frequently, and deeply. Men have always been the same. I think assertiveness and just mental endurance. Men and women embody these traits very differently and I like the way women do it. For men, everything we do has this subtle undertone of violence, like it's just waiting on a moments notice to burst forth. The goal isn't to change women's behavior at all. Women should freely do as they please, same with men. The goal is for men to be aware of the realities of the sexual marketplace and the strengths and weaknesses both sexes have in it. Truth itself has inherent worth absent anything else. Men are not worthless for being unattractive to women, and they need to know this regardless of what anyone tells them.

TRP should only be a source of information, not a directive of what to do with that information. Women are the sexual selectors, all men can do is react. Women's sexual expectations will never resemble men's. The basis for the decisions, wants, and needs are entirely different. There is no reality where women are 100% free to choose a mate, unconstrained from any external influence, that won't result in some AF/BB dichotomy. To have a world like yours where women see half of the male population as good enough you'd have to make nearly 50% of all men Alpha Bucks. Good luck. We don't need to do anything. Natural selection will take it's course. If a society embraces values that lead to it's decline then the society which hasn't will overtake them. If what feminism has "done" to all of us is truly a problem it can't be stopped now, not without tyrannical action. If it's a cultural death sentence it will be selected against like every other ill. No. If women want to abort they should be able to. Men however should be able to abort their responsibility as well. Equal rights. Smart men get a vasectomy so none of the insanity around women and reproduction ever happens. Leave them to their fate.

I am well aware. However, women have agency and need to use it. We can play the mutual game of "Help me feel safer so we can be intimate" that both enjoy or we can follow a hard and rigid rule where any hesitation on the woman's part is interpreted as a hard no and her ass is shown the door immediately. If men are responsible for her feelings, option 2 is the safer one to take. Thankfully this adolescent nonsense is rare.

I've seen the mods here describe it has women wanting "fried ice" an impossibility. They want something that is polar opposites, but at the same time. It's their hamster wanting something it cannot find and their ensuing behavior is the result of that. edit: They want the dark triad psychopath that will kill for them, and keep them safe from all dangers real and imagined, but ALSO don't ever imagine that he'll turn on her just like he does everyone else. I unironically believe this too. Let's have it. We'll defund all the women's charities and instead pay for every man to have a bro that goes about his day with him. Unless you mean the chaperone is female. But that wouldn't work because the man would just rape her of course. So you'd have to have men chaperone other men, but that wouldn't work either because then they'd just work together to rape people of course. Such a difficult problem. What are we to do.

What are you talking about? Monogamous pair bonding? Pair Bonding ...there have been people that cheated and people that abandoned their family in favor of another. That doesn't negate the fact that societies which nurture monogamous pair bonds last where those that don't perish. It's natural that a cheetah is faster than the gazelle it's trying to hunt down and eat, which you'd think dictates that gazelles die every time. What they didn't mention, or perhaps I missed it, is how many women fail to make themselves orgasm at all. All by yourself, late at night, Fabio on the cover of some shitty $5 book, glass of wine in one hand. It's got to be evolutionary. Female arousal is not necessary for a pregnancy to occur whereas it's absolutely required that a man is aroused, to the point of orgasm, to produce life. Guess which sex got the "easy to arouse" genes as a result.

A growing segment of the male population surely is, yes. People are motivated by incentive, the incentives in the past for men to make something of themselves are increasingly vanishing as society naturally evolves and changes. Men don't create AF/BB. Women are responsible for it, due to their duplicitous sexual strategy. Men do get upset with other men for having shitty low standards. Men as a group don't get mad at women for AF/BB because most men don't even think it exists. Of the men that do understand it that do get mad it's usually at Women(tm) for denying it outright when confronted. Outside of stunted teenagers, no male thinks porn is representative of anything. It's a highly glamorized and dramatic visual spectacle meant to arouse our most primitive and hard-coded instinct quickly and consistently. If a man decides what he has seen in porn should be done in real life, that's on the man, not the porn. He's entitled to seek out a partner willing to do so. If women don't like they pressures they feel are being foisted upon them from pornography then they should consider press…

If this were true, no straight couples would be in fulfilling relationships ever. I don't think OP is speaking in absolutes. Men and women will always pair up, because it's the most stable arrangement we have as a species. ...if the chance of happiness and fulfillment was zero or close to it. Again, this isn't mentioned in the OP. Just because it's not the ideal relationship men want doesn't mean it provides nothing of value. That would be a poor way to look at it. The desire for control and domination is itself enslavement to the one that wants it as much as it is to the one being subjugated. What joy is there in something taken by control? There is none. Great response. There's a ton to think about. To speak for the devil, in western society women are upheld as the social glue and fabric of their families. This often leads to the well documented woman being master of the home, man being master of everything else. With the rise of female power in the last 150+ years here we see women encroaching on traditionally male-only spaces of power while still retaining that same power within their homes. This is fairly common. Do you think it's because women impose a higher standard for themselves and when the man fails to meet it they get the boot? Don't women even realise this false pandering to them by the media entertainment industry is just manipulation? It's so obvious. The constant grandstanding about how awesome and amazing you are because you were born female. It's just a giant circlejerk. If I were a woman and had no need to have my ego stroke I would think it's ridiculous.

For many (heterosexual) men sex is the vehicle for their own validation as a human being and Man itself. Being desirable to women reaffirms that you are worthy of existence itself. You exist in a state that is what your society wants, what your friends want, and what your own biology is screaming at you to want. It's far more than just releasing sexual tension through an orgasm. Men lack emotional intimacy with other people almost as a rule. Yes men have intimate male friendships but it does not…

Desire is non-negotiable. I have complete empathy for incels (read: anyone) that is unable to fulfill that deep longing connection with another person. Incels mistakenly think it's all about the sex. I'm not going to tell you what you should care about in this world. If you don't care, you don't care. Some people laugh at the idea of starving children. Don't try and equivocate those two either, that isn't my point. I would hesitate to say women lacking basic human empathy for 50% of the populati…

Men are nature's genetic testing ground. They will vary wildly from the mean in almost all dimensions. This makes the smartest people likely to be men (ultra geniuses) and the absolutely dumbest knuckledraggers to be men as well. IF women do their job as sexual selectors properly the most beneficial traits (hint: the right side of the bell curve) will get incorporated to the next generation. Male sexual drive as subjectively experience by men is not to produce children, it's to have sex. Our genes want to propagate themselves through the vehicle of our sexual instincts but that is irrelevant for why a man thinks he's personally choosing to seek out sex. He's chasing that orgasm and it's best had through a big Venus of a woman.

If I thought hypergamy was an illusion of some sort I would look for evidence that women produce children which are either equal to her in some measure of genetic fitness or possibly worse off such that the trend over time should humans are becoming genetically stagnant but only if there is ample supply of "better men" that these women are willingly not choosing. If that was the case is a majority then sure you may convince a few people that hypergamy doesn't exist, but I could just say women ar…

Because hypergamy is about the outcome of sex (pregnancy) and making certain to reach for the stars so that the children produced are better than the mother that births them. Men will of course reach for the stars because nicer tits and bublier asses will make their dicks stand taller. Male sexual psychology makes ZERO recognition to the consequences of having sex (producing children).
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 04:09 AM
6

Men want a better mate for attraction reasons so they can get a nice tidy orgasm independent of the outcome, as there is no outcome for a man, he's not pregnant. Women want a better mate because they alone are the sexual selectors among humans and personally want their children to be better on a genetic level than she is.

Men are not instinctually drawn to women with top tier genes? Men don't employ sexual strategies in order to try and obtain top tier women? This is news to me. Men are attracted to this insofar as it makes their dicks stand up on end ready to burst. What way could you realistically measure it? Have women self report their sexual preferences under a lie detector? Follow through with seeing who they marry and produce children with? Reaching for the moon because nicer tits and and more bubbly ass makes their dick harder? No man fucks because it increases their chances for having better children. That is what women do (to satisfy hypergamy), because they alone must be pregnant and give birth. The onus is on them and their entire psychology for mate selection reflects this. I'm not saying women only fuck to satisfy hypergamy, only that hypergamy influences who they desire to fuck.

Right. I understand your position. It could be argued that what women find "hypergamously satisfying" is cultural and that will change with the shifting landscape where they are increasingly successful in all measures of western society. Rich upper class men are sexually selecting for homeless women if that woman has a fantastic physique bestowed by the genetic lottery. Male sexual strategy does not involve "marriage" at all. Men are not aroused by someone better than them, they get tingles from a very narrow window of physi…

This ignores the reality that hypergamy is observered only in women. Hypergamy is not simply "take what's best among your options."

What is the point of this post exactly To make the assertion that due to the increased social connectivety brought forth by the internet in the last 10 years and increased prominence of forums such as this....that female hypergamy will be accepted by the ignorant masses as TRP describes it, once and for all.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:41 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:35 AM

I am not one such person for a multitude of reasons. All will benefit equally from an "airing of grievances" on total and radical acceptance of male and female sexual natures which we are trending towards in the next 2 decades.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:30 AM
13

Hypergamy is established in the scientific literature as women preferentially selecting mates of higher social station than themselves. Women becoming more successful in the bluepill worldview is great(for them!) but it will also make it harder for any one man to satisfy that unavoidable hypergamic urge (as strong or as weak as it is in any one woman). It's an unfortunate paradox. The better a woman makes her station in life, the fewer possible men exist to meet her on her level.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:28 AM
1

we need to prove it's not hard wired in men. It is well documented in the scientific literature that men pursue across and above, and down the female hierarchy of attraction. Hi Dr. Peterson. Men do no discriminate on a biological level for social status, it's purely physical and immutable (for good or ilk)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:24 AM
3

If hypergamy is indeed a biological instinct, which I believe it is, its expression will only change with the culture the women exist in. It's a fundamental drive, but the the particular expression and trappings of satisfying it are arbitrary. The culture that accepts it and accommodates it will thrive where others will not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:14 AM
2

There cannot be a control group of non-hypergamous women if by definition it applies to all women (which I believe it does). I'd be interested in examples of women never having been hypergamous, and not simply suppressing it. I don't believe they exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:10 AM

It's hard because young men are idealistic and impressionable. Full acceptance of human sexual nature as expressed by the two sexes will level the playing field and all will benefit from that. Men will become everything that women desire. Women are already everything men desire.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:02 AM
2

True, but if you accept that it's biologically hardwired then it must exist in all societies that contain women, how it is expressed will of course be unique to that culture and its arbitrary mating rituals and rules/customs.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 02:00 AM
5

True Unrestrained male sexuality is mass rape and harems. It's unstable and effectively does not exist because of that. Unrestrained Female sexuality is getting the best possible genes for her potential offspring (at any cost), no society should be against that ever (within reason). What insecurities are you levying on me?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 01:54 AM

Feminism was meant to free women from male control as much as humanly possible. It has succeeded in that regard insofar as the sexes directly "control" one another. BB will be unnecessary in the next 20 years as men will understand why it happens and why women seek it, yet many will still accept it, because it will be without deception and they derive personal benefit from providing (unique to men)
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/20 01:47 AM

Women are not without curiosity. Sure in my own experience they'd rather be taken for a ride like in a themepark and enjoy themselves as passive participants but I think we'll find that everyone will benefit and engage more in SMP dynamics and find deeper satisfaction with the removal of all deception and fear of "what if the Other fucks me over".

Men that are willing and capable of attracting female sexual attention will earnestly improve themselves in ways that gain that attention as reinforced by articles in magazines, movies, tv shows, news reports and so on (REAL actual advice, not bluepill face-saving bullshit). Interesting, I've not heard that before. I am aware of that male armpit odor thing where women can smell histocompatilbility instantly as "pleasant" and incompatibility as "bad". Nature is a clever girl. I guess it makes sense to find someone with as much genetic distance from yourself as possible to allow for greater diversity but i'm not convinced what we find attractive and thus use to select partners necessarily is what's best for genetic diversity in offspring.

I can't back it up but believe I heard that men "picked" womens physical traits and women picked mens. Men are tall because women fuck tall men and have their children. Women have permanently swollen breasts (unlike most mammals) because men selected for it (hey that thing in the distance if it has huge breasts I can reasonably asses it's a woman I can fuck knowing nothing else). FEMDOM places the man in the position of Object of Desire, instead of the woman. Most men are never the true object of a woman's desire to the same degree any one woman might be for a man. For sure. But I think it's more that as non-white culture is integrated into mainstream American culture things like this will continue to be common. As women are the dominant social force, what they want as a collective becomes what men chase.

Patriarchy and enforced monogamy are not the same thing. Patriarchy as feminists define it emerged only because men had a physical advantage over women which was required for 99% of jobs for human history. Feminism is a Marxist doctrine where men are an oppressor class to women. Feminist ideals, not the academic doctrine, have existed since the beginning of time. Every culture has struggled with intergender power differentials and finding a balance that will be accepted by most. Women are people, get them off the pedestal. A picture of an apple isn't an apple. If licking it tasted like one and simultaneously satiated your hunger, it still wouldn't be an apple nor would it give you calories. But if you're "eating" that apple to not feel hungry, then so be it.

Women are always going on about having more choices, this will be another available choice. No woman will ever have to be pregnant again. It will seriously disrupt male/female relations because so much of it hinges around sex and family planning. It will both take power and give it to women. Freedom from pregnancy, but they no longer control human reproduction. Everyone will complain no matter what happens though.

Nobody wants the end of women except maybe lunatics and irredeemable ragers. It's a competing product for a unique resource that threatens the cartel, that's it. Nothing will "force" women to be better. They will just drop out of society, like what is happening to young men now.

They have this reaction because it short circuits the mating dance required of men to obtain sexual access with women. That's why they're all saying it's "low value" because you can simply drop money with zero effort and access the resource women uniquely own and provide (like a cartel). It's why slut shaming is mostly women attacking other women, they lower the price on that commodity, it reinforces their place in the FSM as "high value" women. It's all garbage. If you want to stay in women's good graces as a young bluepill man you will avoid this regardless of it's legality and acceptance. I also think women will never accept a man's sexual behavior outside of one that serves the female imperative exclusively. Men want consistency. If men must do X then women must do Y. When one side starts slipping on their duty, the other side can just say fuck it. However it's men that keep the world turning in day-to-day operations and women know this. If all women stopped going to their job today, the world would change drastically but it would still turn. If all men stopped, we're all dead in less than 72hrs. The male gender role is required for everyone's survival. This will not fundamentally change.

There's a big difference. Emotion: "I feel I am right, therefore I am" Logic: "I think I am right, here's proof" Emotions can be rational or irrational. They are always just a sensation though. You can't reason someone out of irrational feelings, but you can reason with someone by showing how their data does not line up or point to their own conclusion in a coherent manner. Logic/Emotion is a false dichotomy, they're not even related.

Women gain status in the female social matrix by being victims. Social media is an amplified version of the small "women's circle" of old. No op, but yes. I think women can perfectly understand that men love women in exactly the same way that they love their own children. That sacrificial, protect/provide dynamic both sexes have. However, women do NOT by and large have that feeling of love towards men. I may be just a touch cynical (lol) but it seems like women love men in the way that I love an umbrella from keeping the rain off my head. Or, a bicycle from easing my travel vs going barefoot. It's utilitarian at its core. I am trul…

Women do approach the men they're attracted to, by signalling her openness to him approaching her (women lol). Of course the much narrower window of what women find attractive works against them as any man they want is de facto desirable to other women too. They are now in the position every man is approaching all manner of women. They hate it.

I have found common ground irl with a femme presenting lesbian on how approaching other femme women fucking sucks. It was unironically one of the funniest things i'd ever heard listening to this grown woman talk like a teenage boy. It was like the Emperor meme saying "Goooood, goooooood!" Straight women understand the struggle cognitively but man was it cathartic of all places to hear a woman stating so plainly the lived experience of every straight man since the beginning of time.

Maybe you have some sort of final solution to this problem? I'm curious how you think the "natural order" such as it was, became upended to lead us where we are today. You thinking there is a way something should be as nature intended is a fallacy btw.

It's just outrage bait. Males aren't supposed to be the sexual selectors so male preference is an affront to those women. Options means you can be picky...like those outraged women lol. Oh well!

Because men aren't a collective bargaining group like women, each man is an island. Where men's individual interests lay, as different as they are, won't necessarily line up to our collective benefit. It's male nature to protect, defend, and provide.
