I’ve been burned both ways many times. Sometimes I buy them a drink and they immediately lose interest. Other times I refuse to buy them a drink and they also lose interest. I think looking a layer deeper at the underlying psychology is better than having a hard rule on buying drinks or not. If she feels you’re buying drinks to convince her you care or win her over, that’ll turn her off. It’s self-qualifying. If you refuse to buy her drinks because you’re bitter about being used, or suspicious o…

It’s hilarious when women shit on passport bros as if women aren’t doing the exact same thing when they go to Bali or the Dominican Republic A lot of the “shaming” they do towards guys trying to be fuck boys is just a shit test, they don’t believe it

Several of my female friends from high school became strippers and they were the best wing-women ever. It was ridiculous

I find your night can be infinitely better if you go out with the right people and infinitely worse if they’re the wrong people. Going out solo is more consistent, and less hassle, but good wings will push you and show you your blind spots. Finding good wings as a newbie is difficult, but the biggest thing you can offer other guys when you go out is pumping their state and being a cheerleader for them lol. They’ll keep inviting you out even if you suck

I’d argue that having a partner is a huge financial advantage because you can split living expenses, so that would be an even higher priority. Also once you get your shit handled, you still need to have your charisma down, so might as well work on that at the same time. Even if you aren’t successful until you get financially independent, the practice dating will be useful. Let’s be honest, it’s not like taking four hours every weekend to socialize is going to derail your Career. The time saved b…

Often it’s what they’re not doing that’s helping them rather than what they are doing. If you don’t have anxiety from years of being low status, you aren’t going to do low status behaviours that turn women off. So you wouldn’t think to tell someone not to do stuff like speak nasally or break eye contact It is a little condescending to assume someone is behaving super needy or has no female friends and that’s why they struggle.

I personally never got much benefit from alcohol. The downside is for a few days after, my body is recovering from the organ damage and I’m in a worse baseline state, and I’ll be bringing that baseline with me next weekend. It’s too expensive and hard on your health, and does not give enough confidence and swagger to justify it.

You need to know they’re there first. You need to really audit the things that are poisoning your belief system around yourself and women. Maybe it’s your nagging mother, maybe it’s your Reddit feed, maybe it’s always being hung over, maybe it’s your feminist university professors. Your mind is constantly pinging off the environment to build its sense of reality. Sometimes a guy needs a totally new environment to create a new identity for himself. You need to cultivate an environment for yoursel…

A lot of guys are brainwashed to be in a losing spiral that keeps them even more alone and desperate. It’s a brutal mental prison. Once you’re out of it, it’s laughably easy. Idk a good analogy. I guess you could say swimming across a pool is easy for you and you don’t see why people find it hard, but everyone else has giant weights tied to them. The real challenge is getting rid of the weights.

It’s a case of taking the useful parts of what they teach and not being so wrapped up in it. I think that actually engaging with the world and subjecting yourself to struggle makes you more enlightened than just sitting under a waterfall meditating. A lot of the people in the spiritual community are traumatized individuals looking for a way to handle their inner pain and compensate with the monk persona. But the idea of not fixating on the future or ruminating on the past is very useful

Unironically “power of now,” the spirituality book on how to shut down your thinking mind Hear me out… notice how dumb a lot of the most successful guys with women are? They aren’t overthinking what to say or how to micromanage their impression to her. Being able to turn off all those conditioned behaviours and neurotic holding patterns in your mind and just go up and be normal is huge. And it’s hard to do because our lives are so cerebral. Especially for well-educated, nerdy guys

The ROI on in person approaching is very high too because you learn to regulate your emotional state and communicate well, and it translates to building all kinds of careers. People ask how to build “soft skills.” This shit

Well that can mean a lot of things, whether it’s porn, alcohol, scrolling Tik Tok all day. Forcing yourself to do something uncomfortable means breaking out the entrenched patterns in your brain, which are created by the dopamine system in your basal ganglia. I believe it’s even deeper than that. I think you even get dopamine spikes from certain thought patterns. This part might be total bs, idk, but I remember being depressed and almost taking a joy in thinking about poor me poor me and how the…

Idk why people talk about this like it’s easy. Make yourself fall asleep right now. You can’t do it. It’s not like you can consciously set these mental states. You need to go through a process building your self esteem over time. It requires tearing down limiting beliefs imposed by society, breaking off of cheap dopamine addiction, fixing your brain chemistry, understanding what your value is as a man. You can’t take an insecure, hyper logical guy who’s been told he’s shit his whole life and jus…

That was probably the right call then if you’re not trying to make the other girl uncomfortable. I like to ask why a girl’s being weird when she shit tests me. One I got a few weeks ago was I asked a girl how old she was and she was like “guess” so I said “it’s giving 21 vibes.” Then later I asked her name, and she was like “guess.” And I called it out, “why are you saying guess to everything?” Side note, I find it funny how much technical game like “negs, qualifiers, push pull,” etc is just emu…

“Don’t lie, you were looking too.” Most of the time your only option is to embrace and exaggerate. Even if you genuinely weren’t being a creep, logically justifying why you weren’t isn’t going to help. Because then you’re qualifying yourself to her, when you shouldn’t care what she thinks

My two cents is you have approach anxiety because of multiple factors. Fear of retaliation and guilt about bothering someone. However, you would not be afraid to talk to them if you were offering them a million dollars. So you need to sort it out in your head that you’re valuable and the girls will be happy to get to know you. Guys feel like if they aren’t good looking or rich then they have nothing to offer. But the reality is you can offer value in your specific niche. It can be anything. Bein…

It’s just unreasonable to force a girl to make a decision about you immediately. The counter argument is girls decide if they find someone attractive within two seconds. Sure, but you explicitly saying it forces her to have to explicitly accept the romantic interaction even though she knows nothing about you. Girls are subtle when they communicate, it just comes off uncallibrated and blunt to immediately say “let’s fuck.” Which is what a direct opener basically is. “Hey you’re cute” means “let’s…

I think they just want something out of their control that they can blame so they can justify it to themselves that they aren’t taking action. They literally block out advice that would help them. To the credit of looksmaxxers, they are redirecting that obsession with looks as excuse to taking action to resolve it. There unfortunate thing about looks is you never reach a point where you feel good looking enough. It’s like the gym, you get worse body dysmorphia over time as you tie your sense of …

Right? The whole looksmaxxing thing falls apart when you leave your house and walk around a shopping mall, let alone when you go to a nightclub. But Jeffy doesn't bother saying what it is that's so bad about the approach. He points out that the girl who did the last handshake didn't seem uninterested, but he ignores the fact that the second girl reacted positively. He's trying to shame this guy for the fact that the girls are "disgusted" by him, when we all know that reactions like this from women are largely out of our control This implies that you didn’t catch the part where Jeffy explained what was bad about the approach, namely that …

Part of the problem is guys are doing bad approaches. “Hey I thought you were cute.” Even if she would have liked you, now she’s forced to make a decision about whether to accept you or reject you two seconds into the interaction with zero information about who the fuck you are. So yeah, you’ll burn through the town quick doing that. But if you go indirect, you can talk to everyone as many times as you want and no one will have an issue with it. You have to learn how to enjoy yourself and let loose without alcohol. Alcohol works great, but it’s not sustainable if you’re going out regularly, health-wise or financially. how to turn off your brain without it? Meditation, spending time in nature. Practicing getting into social rhythm with people while sober. The trick is when you feel comfortable and high-status in an environment, you can express yourself freely and be social, but your brain shuts you down if you feel low status. If you for…

It’s wearing a flashy item to attract females like a peacock’s feathers. The reason being flashy is attractive theoretically is it forces a lot of attention on you, and the fact that you haven’t been eaten by a predator or beaten up by other guys means you must be tough or very healthy. Anyways, whether it’s actually attractive or not is less the point and it’s more about just giving people an excuse to talk to you, and also making you look fun to hang out with Examples include, silly t-shirt, h…

I mean, the boss was doing objectively terrible game that was super self-qualifying and putting pressure on the girl so it came off needy and insecure. Jeff explicitly mentions that even though it’s scripted, you see guys like the boss all the time in real life. It’s not about the content you say. Think about what line a really old and ugly woman would have to use to get you attracted to her. They’re probably isn’t one. Obviously women aren’t as visual as men, but it’s still about BEING attractive rather than doing. Which comes from being confident, going for what you want, having a strong frame that doesn’t crumble under pressure, having abundance and not needing anything from her, but also not being afraid to engage with her

Peacocking increases the number of women that approach me by a lot. Something to consider. I used to go out dressed like a giant chicken but now I just do a light-up hat. Yeah it’s gimmicky, but sometimes I’m not in a fun mood and the hat does the fun for me and get my night rolling

I don’t think women directly care about how much money you have, but having a lot of money is such an unfair advantage that it’s insane. Things like being able to get front-row seats at coachella and be surrounded by Instagram models and have a professional videographer document it and put it on your social media, as well as being able to rent a party house and throw an after-party with a hot tub after.

Witty is bad, you always want to be retardmaxxing. Saying a witty line is basically telling her you actually take the interaction seriously and don’t have enough options. Why are you trying so hard? I’ve tried to make social circle work but it’s hard if you don’t have the fundamentals game teaches you. I don’t think it’s a cheat code like guys think it is. I actually think it’s harder than meeting people at bars and clubs to maintain your social circle. When you’re invited to a party, you still need to introduce yourself to the people there and be charismatic. They’re slightly more receptive than a complete stranger in a random setting, but otherwise the dynamic isn’t that different.

It’s more about using the money to create a lifestyle that increases your odds over time. I’m sure you can think of creative ways one can use money to make it easier to meet and attract women. But yeah if you just take to guys and throw them in a random bar, the girl has no way of knowing what’s in your bank account… unless she gets your Instagram and sees you staying in exclusive resorts all around the planet and attending supermodel fashion parties and driving around in supercars

The problem is those instincts don’t serve us in modern society where you don’t get a small circle of people over a long time. Approach anxiety is to protect you from getting yourself ostracized from your small tribe, but makes no sense with strangers you’ll never see again.

I guarantee they aren’t choosing the 6’4 guy who’s not on the billionaire’s yacht with them. Either way, the example is to illustrate how none of this is helpful to debate. Unless you have a supplement I can take to become taller, it’s a waste of mental energy

The alternative is to become like most men in their fifties, married to the first woman who would take them and emotionally abused into being a shell of their former selves, completely let themselves go physically and drink every night to numb the pain. In general though, I suggest the following for transformation: Level up your career so you can afford things like a pet dog, nice car, place close to downtown, travelling, etc. Travel to become more grounded as a person, and to give context as to how much of your values and beliefs are just social conditioning for your specific country Meditate with the headspace app to learn to turn off your mind and be present with the girl,…

Another thing about looksmaxxing is instead of just being another thing you can do to get girls, guys treat it like it’s the only thing and then use it as an excuse to never try, which is so weird to me. Like you’re not even going to try learning game or making money before giving up on women?
/r/seduction14/06/26 06:56 PM
3

I’ve relaxed my stance on looksmaxxing. I personally haven’t gotten much improvement from increasing my looks, but I see it help a lot of guys, so it definitely works. My impression is guys use it as an excuse not to learn game (social skills). If you already have decent social skills, then I guess that’s fine. I also don’t think women care about looks nearly as much as men, so you get diminishing returns real fast. I also think money is a superior avenue to focus your time and energy on. I’ve b…

I gave you advice below about how to have more interesting conversations by using stories and being emotionally expressive in the way you talk, then suggested places you can learn to be more captivating. But you’re so much in desperation that it even comes through here over text. I guess start an improv group. Or when you’re socializing with people, try to be really expressive and tell engaging stories. If this is an important area that you really want to get handled, moving to a bigger city is a good idea too

Improve classes or musical theatre where you learn how to speak about dumb scenes with a lot of emotion. A good exercise is to practice telling stories. Listen to how women talk to each other vs men. Men: “what did you do yesterday?” “I went to a house party, it was cool.” Women: “what did you do after work?” “Okay you remember how I was talking with phil? Way too much emphasis on how you’re going to have sex with her immediately. It’s implied by the fact you’re on a dating app, you can tone down your level of intent by a lot compared to when you’re at a bar. That rebuttal didn’t make sense. Why would having lots of kids indicate to a woman that she may be at risk of having offspring with sickle-cell anemia if she sleeps with you? The concept is pretty basic. She wants a son who will have grandchildren. If it seems like your genes will increase the odds of that, she’ll be attracted, and if your genes seem like they’ll result in no grandchildren, she won’t want to risk ending her bloodline Also, since you brought up sickle-cell anemia. That’s actually…
/r/seduction12/06/26 10:06 PM

This is why it’s a hard and long process for guys. You literally have to unravel your entire belief system and world view as sexuality is often right at the core of it. It’s also really dark stuff when guys are sold on a narrative by society about being a good traditional provider and commit to a woman and stay in your lane, be professional and polite, etc… and then it doesn’t work out and they get fucked over. Then they get mad. Like violent mad.

I think more men should read “sperm wars” to understand how attraction is an evolved mechanism to help select a mate that maximizes the odds your genes will persist across generations. Women who didn’t choose men who helped get their genes to the next generation don’t have any descendents today. That means the number one “attractive” trait you can have for a woman is that you can get lots of girls pregnant, because that means her kids she has with you will also get lots of girls pregnant and so …

While you’re working on your dating profile, I invite you to deeply analyze your internalized beliefs around sex and dating and what makes a “douchebag.” It’s kind of hard because Reddit kind of re-enforces the frame that men are evil pieces of shit and wanting sex is disgusting and you should commit to a woman and show how you love her. It’s more the counteracting your evolved self-sabotage mechanisms and unwiring social conditioning to behave like a beta male that’s a challenge. Anyways, pickup 101: seeking rapport is bad and low value, at least until you hook the set. You want to be breaking rapport (not insulting them, but generating value in a way that shows you don’t need them). Energetically, that means you need to not be wanting something from them

Tbh, sometimes guys are great with women and give shit advice. Actually really common because a lot of it is vibes-based, and being a hyper-logical guy who analyzes his interactions kind of fucks up your results. Unfortunately, the guy with great game might not be able to diagnose why a dweeb is struggling or articulate what they should do to improve
/r/seduction05/06/26 12:20 AM
2

This is a new problem, because back in the day, when someone gave advice, you’d go outside and try it and see if it worked. Then you’d know. But everyone just wants to sit at home and debate theory all day instead of actually trying things to see what happens

It’s a common and effective way for men to suddenly be really confident while super empathetic to the girls emotions. People do it at raves all the time. No my point is the guy wants to know the best option for getting women, and I’m saying it’s either to do a ton of drugs or get a job that helps you meet women, but for a lot us that isn’t an option, so the pua route is the only viable one

Cold approach is the best option for guys wanting a balanced life. The best option for getting women is to do a ton of Molly every week and go to EDM concerts non-stop. Or become a club-promoter or a bartender. For a lot of us, we value our careers and don’t want to lower our earning potential just for sex. It’s often decades of conditioning from society such as the media, university, your job, your lower status friends, your family, all solidifying your personality into that of a beta chode. If you’re some guy who never got sucked into that and just spent your life on the beach surfing and smoking weed, then you wouldn’t need to learn game. We all want to be desired by someone with value, you can’t skip the value part or compromise yourself on that. Expressing desire for her when she hasn’t earned it would immediately convey low value It also just makes the desire meaningless because you’d just as easily say the same thing to any pretty girl. So ironically, it makes it seem like you care even less about her as a unique person

Maybe start the process by learning to socialize with everyone in the venue first without wanting anything. If you can learn how to have fun and let loose, that will help your interactions a ton. You’ll want to switch to actually doing legitimate approaches, but it’s hard if you don’t have that social baseline.

It’s a common problem that happens when you consume too much content about seduction instead of taking action and it just reinforces the mental ego structures that paralyze you when you go out. Part of why it’s hard for naturals to understand why anyone struggles with this, because they don’t have all that internal anxiety self-sabotaging them. Technically you approached as soon as she saw you, because the interaction is you conveying information or an impression of yourself to her. When she sees how you’re responding to the bar setting, she’s forming an opinion of your status. Which is why you want to be having a lot of fun, commanding attention, and demonstrating status in the environment There should never be a moment where you’re standing there scanning for the next approach

On one hand, good inner game would help with this because you wouldn’t think to say something like that if you had abundance, self-esteem, groundedness, etc. But if you tell a desperate newbie to just do approaches and say what comes naturally, it’s going to be cringe or self qualifying. So having some technical guidelines or at least basic rules on how to approach will make a huge difference.

I go out with outer game guys and I see how it’s inferior to the inner game guys, because the vibe’s off. But my problem with “inner game” is it’s not that actionable. “Just be confident bro.” You can attempt identity-level change from multiple angles. Cold-showers train you to overcome resistance to jumping into an uncomfortable situation then sitting with your panic response, similar to how your nervous system feels with approaching. Humiliation rituals: go out dressed like an idiot or take an…

Cold showers help. It’s a similar situation where you’re dreading something and you need to overcome your nervous system to go into a shocking situation, and then you have to sit in the discomfort for a bit while your stress response is going off. You feel great afterwards too, so it’s conditioning yourself to enjoy jumping into challenging situations. The other angle is ego death. Dressing up in a stupid costume and being the centre of attention where you look like an idiot forces you to let go…

Tbh, by the time you get to the point where she’s weighing these pros/cons, you’re already screwed. Goes for any ick. If she’s mentally assessing the pros and cons of you logically, you’re probably already done

It’s a case-by-case thing. A lot of guys are very masculine but it makes them really uptight and logical, and kind of intense. And that’s good in some cultures.l, but can hurt your ability to pick up girls in a cold-approach scenario like a loud party where everyone is having fun and vibing. women often respond to that artistic, flowy, sensual side, which is more feminine. So being able to tap into that is good too. What really matters is status. Where you fall on the masculinity spectrum isn’t …

I know people who’ve gotten laid from these events, so it does happen, but my opinion is it’s harder than a regular bar or nightclub or even just saying hi to a random girl on the street because you’re forced into such an artificial job-interview kind of role.
/r/seduction15/04/26 05:46 AM
10

View singles events as a great opportunity to get reps in, but the actual frame of the event is literally set up like a job interview and makes you look unattractive on the get-go. Because the underlying assumption is you’re selling yourself to the women there. The only way around it is to make fun of the whole concept itself and not take it seriously at all. Zack Justice on YouTube is a great example of this. But you should still go because you can get a lot of conversations with hot girls in a…

I think every guy tries that and then ends up friend zoned. Also fails to take into account that attraction is a biological instinct related to maximizing the success of your offspring and not about how emotionally compatible you are.
/r/seduction10/04/26 11:12 PM

Different definitions, but it’s basically just replicating behaviours that a high status person who gets a lot of girls would do naturally. There’s debate on whether you should focus on “inner game” and have those behaviours manifest naturally, or “outer game” and develop the more healthy and confident mindset through real life exposure and getting laid. But you could instead think of it as learning how to be engaging and charismatic in a social environment.
/r/seduction10/04/26 07:08 PM

It’s kind of sad that the 2010’s seduction community was cancelled and went underground, because the mainstream went full black-pill and now dudes are killings themselves and shooting up schools. This stuff was figured out 30 years ago, but for some reason people think women in 2026 are completely different than women in the 90’s and game no longer works on them
/r/seduction10/04/26 01:17 PM

You can analyze first principles about why people respond to different things, then go outside and see what happens in real life. Then you can go and try out different things and see the results. The old-school community had a principle that you had to field test everything, and you weren’t allowed to give an opinion until you tried it at least ten times and documented it.

I’d say yeah. I went from getting zero matches and dates to getting matches and dates every month, so was a big jump for me. It’s not that you can’t learn on your own, but if you’re a nerdy loser, you have so many bad assumptions and mindsets built up that it makes it hard to learn the proper way to interact with women. A lot of this stuff is intuitive to some guys, but not necessarily.

Idk if this will help or not, but if you have a mental hurdle over being sexual, which I think a lot of guys in western countries do because of shaming and late-stage feminism, then you can instead replace flirting with teasing like you do with your boys. Still makes the interaction fun and interesting and you don’t feel like a creep Not a substitute for flirting of course, but gets you past the “friendly conversation to no where”

Also girls tend to go out in pairs and they’re often looking for guys for both of them. You can make an impromptu wing by finding another random guy, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be good or he won’t take the girl you’re interested in.
/r/seduction07/03/21 04:14 PM

Yeah fair enough. I should say it’s theoretical and impossible to prove. But evolution is pretty much considered fact now, and the idea that our psychology is the result of millions of years of evolution isn’t really controversial. Some of my claims are controversial, but I think they’re pretty reasonable. Like women wanting men who are successful with other women, and how selecting for that would give you a competitive edge in terms of natural selection

Well telling the guy to try and hook up with his female friends is harmful advice, it’ll create resentment when the girl just feels like the guy was being friends with her to sleep with her and not being genuine. Also creates a risk for ostracizing either himself or the girl from their social circle. If a guy doesn’t know how to initiate a romantic relationship, the best way for him to learn the necessary skills is through repetition and talking to lots of women. I appreciate that’s extremely an…

Most women don’t know what’s required to pick up girls as they’re on the receiving end. Like you wouldn’t take boxing advice from someone just because they got knocked out by Mike Tyson. An exception is bisexual girls. But game for them is still different than for men because they can be a lot more aggressive because they’re not as physically intimidating.

I think a lot of it comes from nerdy guys with poor social skills who don’t understand how to have romantic interactions. They use the techniques and strategies as training wheels to develop attractive behaviours that a cool guy would have developed naturally. Yeah avoid giving straight answers to these questions as it ends the conversational thread and you have to come up with a new topic. Stories are good. Also an easy thing to do is when she asks, “what’s your name?” You say “Guess.” It’s stupid, but adds something interesting to the conversation, and it’s easy to tease off of it. Some guys read this and take it too far however, and every response is a joke or a sarcastic story. You only need a little bit of game. It’s a spice you add to the dish, …

Hmm. As a girl, you don’t really have to worry about being friend-zoned. If you want an emotional connection with a guy, you can invite him out to do cool things with you, like rock-climbing, or hang out with you and your friends. He’ll probably grow more attached to you over time. Send him funny memes every now and then. Also consider how your personality is as well. Dress really well, see what the other girls are wearing. Also try to appear friendly and approachable, as a lot of guys probably like you but are too nervous to say hi. There’s also no shame in saying hi to guys yourself and having conversation with them. Yeah that was my thinking when I was eighteen, so I didn’t bother working on my career. But the reality is that having money makes it WAYY easier to sleep with young women. Right off the bat, you can have your own car, a dog, and your own place. Then you can get into exclusive clubs. You can take girls on vacation. You can travel. You can afford nice clothes. Even if girls don’t care what your bank account looks like, having more money makes it way easier.
/r/seduction25/02/21 04:02 PM

That’s such an important point you make. Medicine and law are two of the most overrated careers out there. The insane amount of debt, combined with lost opportunity costs from school, and unbelievable stress make them terrible options for most people. For lawyers, the job market is so over-saturated, it’s hard to even get a good job. You can make more than enough money with a far less stressful job and have time to meet women.

Not really a hard and fast rule. Just that in general she can assess if you’re high-value or not based on your initial behaviour and appearance. I thought the three-second rule was for approach anxiety? Where you approach before you start second-guessing yourself. Anyways, I wouldn’t over-analyze it too much. If you come off as a total loser at first, but then she finds out that you’re actually a stud, she’ll change her mind.

Escorts. Hard to care about being rejected when you just had a threesome earlier. Makes you way less desperate when you actually approach women.

I just sucked and became known as the weird guy. But like, I was borderline autistic with women, so that’s part of it. I don’t really believe in mass approaching anymore anyways. It works, but I think you naturally improve your social skills as your brain develops. The male brain doesn’t fully mature until you’re around 25. Main priority should definitely be your career and making money.
