I think this is an ideal scenario actually. It can be difficult to find but would definitely ensure you're on the same "playing field."

I agree with you! It was such an over the top, inappropriate response. He assaulted Chris Rock on live TV over a joke! And it's an awards show where the host is supposed to make jokes! If it was a problem he should have spoken to Chris privately afterwards and asked him to apologise to Jade.

I think it can be nice to have male acquaintances, but honestly there's not much point in having close male friends. Anything they can do for you, women can do better. Most are them are really selfish, fair-weather friends.

I also don't identify with any "brand" of feminism, since I hate liberal feminism but I also am not a radical feminist and many of them would not accept me for wanting to get married to a man, engaging in performative femininity like wearing makeup and heels etc. However I agree a lot more with rad fems than libfems in general and their arguments are far more logical. So I just say I'm "pro women".

Agreed! I always think that once someone is out of your life there's not much point in analyzing why they did what they did. Only analyze as much as you need to learn from the situation, then forget them. They don't matter.

Yeah I saw now online there was another pic taken the same night where she's sitting in his lap. Sorry I don't care how good friends you are, this is inappropriate when one of the people is married. And then post it online when you're both famous and already have fans who ship you.

I don't think she means that anything is wrong with them, but society's obsession with their relationship is weird and not healthy. Like I'll see fan posts on insta and YouTube where Tom just brushes her hand or something ridiculously small and everyone's like "OMG LOOK HOW AMAZING HE IS AND HOW MUCH HE LOVES AND LOOKS AFTER HER!" for literally just touching her like what 😂 the bar does not exist. I do think Tom seems genuinely sweet, but the messaging that all a guy has to do to be some perfect…

Great breakdown! Also on the 15 August last year Emilia Clark posted on her insta a pic of her and Jason where she's being held in his arms and she has her arms around his shoulders, and they both have these MASSIVE grins. I know they're ex co workers and probably good friends but I just thought this pose was too much for a man who's married, it looks very couple-y and I think Emilia is/was single. 100% agreed. Weeks are busy and are for work and exercise until a man has proven himself and is worth giving up some of my limited free time during the week. Weekend are for fun, like dating. And if a man can't find the time for a weekend date then he doesn't have time for a relationship and I'm not interested. He shouldn't even be dating if he's soOoO busy he can't spend 2 hours out of the entire weekend on a date.

If you found child prn on a man's laptop, you would NOT think it's harmless and doesn't affect other areas of the man's thoughts and life. So why on earth do we not apply this logic to other porn?! If a man likes child prn, it's obvious to everyone he's sexually aroused by children and is sick in the head. Likewise if a man likes BDSM/violent porn he is aroused aroused by women being abused and is sick in the head. This is basic logic and intuition which we've been gaslight by the media and coom…

Yeah I told my friend she must go on holiday with her boyfriend before getting engaged to him and make it as stressful and jam-packed as possible with lots of time pressures for connecting transport etc. With my family when we go on big holidays there's always stress and fighting so recreating this circumstance with a man would be a good test.

I've been thinking a lot lately of how basass and independent and driven I actually used to be as a child and young teen. And I was so good at setting boundaries with myself and others. And I'm like, what happened? Where did she go? I had all these strong goals and beliefs and none of them revolved around men. I'm kinda rambling and it's hard to explain, but it's like I had more figured out and was a cooler, more badass and driven person as a tween than I am now as an adult in a way. I was way m…

Agreed! It's so great to find a place with like minded women. When I say I don't want to live with a man before marriage in real life or anywhere else online people act like I'm crazy. "How will you know if you get along? You're going to end up divorced!" 🙄

You need to wake up and live in the real world. We don't live in fantasy land where men don't objectify ALL women and where other people's actions don't affect us.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/12/21 10:13 AM

Precisely. Women like this are conditioning men to view ALL women as objects, even those who don't sexualise ourselves.

Thanks for this!! Sometimes people I barely know or indeed complete strangers message me on insta to chat and I feel bad if I don't want to respond because they are nice in the messages, but I barely know these people and they're not entitled to my time, company or mental or emotional energy. I need that for myself, my family and my close friends I've had for years.

Only date and marry men who are 100% into you, pursue you enthusiastically and consistently and are not desperate for any girl friend/wife he can find. Ideally he's a man with options who chooses you above all others. If he seems like he's desperate or never has much female attention it's a very bad sign. He's just setting for you because you're the only woman who's interested in him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy27/12/21 10:24 AM

Is he actually passive because he's nice, or is he just lazy? It sounds like you're doing all the work. And he doesn't sound like someone you can rely on and who is protective, which is important in a man.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/12/21 12:05 PM

Exactly!!! It's so basic, that a man should make our life better or be removed from our life, yet so many of us fool ourselves into emotional attachments to men who at the end of the day do zero to improve our life or actually make it worse. From now on a man has to actively improve my life for me to even entertain the thought of him. And giving me compliments and attention does NOT count, talk is cheap!

It's important to me too, but I also understand that unfortunately many men are no longer raised like that and might genuinely not think to do it. Stand back and wait for him to give him time to open the door and smile and say thank you when he does to positively reinforce it. Also you can casually bring up that you love old fashioned manners in men like holding the door open, or say one thing you appreciated about your ex was how he always did that. It's not just the western world. Look up rates of violence against women, rapes, murders etc, elsewhere in the world - its MUCH WORSE. In some Islamic countries women can't even drive or leave the house alone. I live in Africa and every time I or a woman I know visits the west we cannot believe how safe and free it is. In my country a woman is more likely to be raped than learn how to read. Men here are like animals. I'm not saying there isn't a big problem in the west but but it's better for wo…

I get this feeling too sometimes. In big social groups the topics of conversation always seem to become so juvenile, superficial, degenerate and meaningless. Not that everything has to be deep and intellectual all the time, of course, but it's like I can't relate to the stupid, pointless shit and jokes many people seem to care about. Luckily I have many lovely HVW friends I hang out with one on one or in small groups.

No. I'm not divorced and I don't have children so I want a man who's the same. If I was divorced it had children I'd be open to dating men in the same situation.

I didn't even need to finish reading to tell you to dump him. Date a dude 10 years older who's not even rich, he's broke?! No thanks! And he's future faking you talking about marriage.

Exactly!!! It's extremely rude and offensive. If I can organize something better with an old friend I see regularly, there's no excuse he can't do something nice for a woman he supposedly wants to date and impress.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy03/12/21 07:14 AM

Exactly. And/or he'd organized a date with another woman who was his first choice, but that fell through so now he's messaging his 2nd, 3rd, etc options to see if any of them are free last minute to fill the gap.

Telling me all his secrets, trauma, confessions, mixed feelings about his ex, etc. Basically major over sharing. I thought I was so special and he felt so comfortable around me to tell me all this. No, he was using me as a free therapist or trying to trauma bond to make me feel like I'd known him for longer. Over sharing with people you don't know well is inappropriate and a RED FLAG.

Men generally have it harder in society nowadays than women. Single moms are to blame because they made a bad choice is their husband/partner. Porn is bad but not cheating. Girlfriends should try prove to their boyfriends they are wife matieral and cook and clean etc. You should offer to pay on dates out of politeness (I always thought men should pay, but I thought it was bad manners if the woman didn't offer). If you're over 30 you'll never find a decent man. It's no one's businesses what 2 con…

Thank you, this was a great comment! 😊 I am not going to see him again. The lack of planning and consideration for my time and wanting to know what is happening in advance as well as, like you said, choosing the lower effort option in regards to lifting me is a deal breaker. Especially since he had hyped up how long he's been wanting to take me out and how he thinks I'm such a wonderful woman etc etc 🙄 then a last minute beach picnic I had to drive half an hour to after work is the best he could…

Yes, I was so disappointed because this was not AT ALL the vibe he'd ever given off in the over 2 years I'd known him and it was actually something that had made me like him initially, being more "old school". And I even said to him women risk far more in romantic relationships with men and are more vulnerable physically and spend far more time, effort and money getting ready for dates and he said he agreed. I felt so mislead and let down.

I completely agree!! I always think it's a nice or even a mandatory gesture for the man to offer, then the woman can politely decline if she doesn't feel comfortable yet. But for us to have known each other over 2 years, he told me he's been wanting to take me out for ages, and he had no work or commitments that day, he had no excuse to not drive me especially since I aksed if he would be fetching me.

Your comment is spot on. I now know not to accept any surprise dates because most of the time they are trying to cover their lack of planninh or get you to agree to a date without knowing what it actually is so they can low ball you. And they probably know women don't like to cancel dates we've already spent time and effort getting ready for. Thank you for your thoughtful response, yes I agree! The location he gave was half an hour away from me on winding roads and he only gave me the exact spot about 4 hours before. I even asked if he's fetching me and he said he will meet me there. I think I was clearly implying I'd like to be fetched by asking him, and I've known him for over 2 years so he's not a stranger.

Thank you for the reply! ❤️ Yeah I was already annoyed about him postponing it. It was because his brother got married the night before and he said he had lost his voice entirely and couldn't speak and was apologetic about. I let it slide because your sibling only (hopefully) gets married once so I understand he partied and sung a lot (it's also his only sibling). Yes!!!! This is the number one rule to know when it comes to dating men. They aren't as cautious as us, they are very decisive early on.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/11/21 05:14 PM
52

Agreed!!!! I wish I knew earlier that men aren't like us in romance. We need time to vet him thoroughly and learn to trust him but men know MUCH earlier on than us if this partner is "the one". A man should be convinced you're the one for him before you're convinced on him. If you feel convinced before he does, he is using you and just not that into you.

Honestly it doesn't matter if he was grieving, blowing you off, or both. The reasoning doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is if he meets your needs and expectations and is ready for the same level of commitment as you are, which he isn't. You can spend weeks analyzing it by the result will be the same. Men who are in our past are not worth the time to analyze. You did the right thing to cut him off.

I think if he mentioned it very casually, didn't dwell on it and didn't dive into his issues it's okay. He didn't trauma dump. Related to this, I was also just thinking about a man in a relationship with you having sex with you while secretly cheating on you. There is NO WAY we'd have sex with a man while he's sleeping with other women and cheating had we known about it. So not only is the cheating an act of betrayal, but still having sex with us is unconsentual and feels like borderline rape. I think most of us would probably feel far more disgusted at the thought of sleeping with an unfaithful ex vs. jus wasting time …

Of course no one should call the cops on someone just bird watching and doing things which aren't illegal, but how many times have men made you extremely uncomfortable while skirting the law? Like following you in public, asking invasive questions, making sexual innudendos? This is all technically legal if he doesn't threaten you or follow you into a private place. However, n…

Further proof that attention from 99% of males is worthless and it's not flattering if a man you barely know wants to sleep with you. It's not because he thinks you're the most beautiful creature he's ever seen. Hookup culture has lied to women saying it's some sort if achievement if lots of men want to f*ck you and it means lots of men find you attractive. Here is proof it's in fact quite the opposite! Every now and then i still see women boasting about how many guys they've slept with and putt…

Age and creepiness aside, at the first sign that someone I'm interested in isn't interested in me, I stop interacting with them because it's just embarrassing to throw yourself at someone who doesn't like you back. It seems to be happening everywhere in the West unfortunately. UK housing prices are insane too and it seems like half of London is owned by Arabs, Chinese, Hong Kongers and Russians. I really don't know how average young people are ever going to be able to afford to buy homes and start families. Please read the handbook and stop prematurely calling men HV. It's been said here a million times that paying on dates and having decent employment is the MINIMUM. If you spread the idea that this is all men need to do in order to be considered HV, you contribute to lowering the bar for all men. Plus I don't exactly think a HV man would have sex with a drunk woman on the first date then inviter her over late at night like a free prostitute service.

Also, men are the ones who are meant to pursue women and women are meant to pick and choose their man from their pool of suitors. Make sure he is 100% into you. Never chase a man. He should be more into you then you're into him at the beginning. If he watches or makes jokes/comments about porn leave him. Focus on school and your frinds when in high school and only date casually if you want, don't get into a serious or physical relationship while in high school. If a man makes you feel bad about yourself in any way (usually with negging) never see or speak to him again.

I agree men need to be told to do better, but do you honestly think a man who's a rapist and murderer will be convinced to stop simply by being told to "do better"? It's not like they don't know their actions are wrong. So unfortunately there will ALWAYS be dangerous men around so we do have to teach women to be careful. Although sometimes for broke, unemployed men all they have is time so be wary of that too! It must be something that requires sacrifice from him. So for a wealthy but extremely busy man, money is not a big sacrifice but time is. For a not-so-wealthy man (not broke, because FDS ladies don't date broke men!), money is a bigger sacrifice. It depends on the man imo.

I think if it's something you did not expect at all and were pleasantly suprised by and which took effort on his part (time, money, emotional and physical labor, etc). And it must also take sacrifice. Eg if you have plumbing issues at home and he drops by after work to fix the problem, this should be expected if he's your boyfriend. However if he leaves early from work and drives over to you to fix the problem then and there immediately, I'd say this is going above and beyond, even though it's a…

Even my low value exes NEVER looked at women in front of me. Do not let anyone gaslight or bully you into thinking this is okay. Loyalty in a relationship is the BARE MINIMUM to have it even constitute a relationship in the first place. There are many men who don't do this, it's not something uncontrollable that all men do.

The answer is that her husband does it. She cannot agree with you and admit it's wrong because then she has to admit she has MARRIED a low value male, which is a terrifying and depressing concept. So she lies to herself and to you. Same with how I tried to explain to my friends why I won't go 50/50, but despite all my logical arguments they couldn't fully admit I was right because they go 50/50 with their men.

If a cultural practice seems bizzare and wrong but for some reason is accepted, I always try to think what would an alien who has never visited earth think? They've had no cultural programming or collective gaslighting. Imagine explaining to a Martian that a man about to marry the love of his life and commit to her forever is going to go to a place filled with naked women to leer and get aroused by them. If a woman is worried a man will feel entitled to sex if he pays for dinner, just think of it as another vetting technique and you can throw away the man if acts like that. So what if he now says you owe him sex? He just told on himself. You know to now block and never see him again. If you pay on dates you miss out on this vetting strategy.

Also when making your decision please eliminate "sunken cost fallacy" thinking of how long you've been dating, how much time bad effort you've spent planning the wedding etc. Don't think about the past, think about your life going forward and if he will make you happy and be loyal in the future.

Remember that most black women who are murdered are killed by black men, usually ones they are romantically involved with. BE CAUTIOUS AND VIGILANT LADIES! And tell your female friends if their boyfriends show early signs of abuse and controlling behavior.

Very well said!!! I've been called a prude since I was a tween, like 12 years old!!! That's how sick our "sexually liberated" society is. A TWELVE YEAR OLD CHILD not wanting to talk about sex is a "prude".

So happy it's back! And I think staying more on topic is a GREAT idea. There started to be a lot of posts telling women they shouldn't date or marry men at all which is not what this sub is about.

Thank you! Sometimes the posts are too overly negative and encourage women to not date men, never get married etc...uh, this is a sub about DATING, not a femcel/WGTOW sub.

Imagine expecting your wife to get pregnant, give birth, breastfeed, shoulder the majority of the child-raising AND household chores and STILL work full time!!! The absolutely disgusting audacity and entitlement! Men like this are trash and gaslight women into working themselves to the bone in the name of "quality". And because they're broke and lazy and need a wife to go 50/50 😠😠😠

I completely agree! Men and women are complimentary, not exactly the same. And if I'm going to be having and raising children, he needs to be earning the majority of the money. There's nothing unreasonable about this, in fact it's highly logical.

I hate women like this. They're actively trying to shame the girl for daring to have boundaries and trying to normalize scrote behavior. THIS ACTIVELY HARMS ALL WOMEN.

This is much healthier than the average junk and fast food diet. And if he's using the money he saved to be generous with me on dates I don't see a problem 🤣 if he's just stingy and miserly overall then that's a problem. Note how this man never considered buying groceries for her, which would be a very easy way to change her diet to include more expensive higher quality foods. He seems like the stingy one here.

I had a man tell me if he could live in any period of history it'd be the viking times because they kidnapped women and would have a harem of 10 wives. When I said that's a very weird thing to say he told me he was joking. He also made a lot of negging comments like dismissing what I'd studied and that a male mutual acquantince told him I "wasn't pretty enough" to date (while I had zero interest in dating him anyway and I am objectively more conventionally attractive than him. But it's probbaly …

Thank you for this! Sometimes I worry about not being able to find a HVM because I don't have a fancy job or title, don't have a high salary (although in zero debt) and only have a bachelor's degree. However, I'm not dumb, I have a high IQ. But often it seems like wealthy, highly qualified men only want to date women with impressive degrees and job titles. I get the impression that dating a woman who's a doctor, lawyer, scientist etc is like a status symbol and women like me are beneath them, ev…

Yeah, if a man says he's looking for a "strong independent woman" I say "Next!" Comes across as very selfish too. Why even have a partner if you NEVER want them to need or depend on you in any way?

Right wing men are better imo because at least most of them agree/step up to provide financially and don't try gaslight you that going 50/50 is "empowering" and they tend to be more chivalrous too. Left wing men often strike me as the most disgusting coomers who defend porn and prostitution to the DEATH.
