Interesting. I had a lot of Mormon friends who were all about swing, now that you mention it.

IDK man, force of habit? Flirt first, ask questions later? I get what you're saying and it's a good idea. I intend to do that - just looking for sugestions on a tactful way to do it.

Thank you for directly answering my question. That's a good idea. As for being comfortable, I know how to act on a date and frankly I'm surprised how many comments in this thread assume I'm scared or something this time without knowing anything about me.

It's not flaking out if you say you're not interested and give advance notice.

Surely you have had beer goggles on before, or became less attracted to someone later on. Usually when I'm really attracted to someone I feel nervous. In this case, I don't.

Yes! Every woman you don't go out with is a potential friend. They diversify your life and also help you meet their friends.

What I mean is that of the girls I actually go on a Day 2 with I would eventually bang a third of them. Keeping tracks of these metrics helps me to focus on the steps and actions I take along the way, which is the only thing I do have control over. I could be attached to outcomes without tracking them just the same. For me, I have found that awareness of the actions I take and their consequences helps me know what I could improve on. And if nothing else, help me to know how many new girls I need…

I hear you. The older I get the more I'm about meaning, substance, and quality over quantity. I've just always wanted to experience the quantity first. IDK if your memories are meaningless...plenty of guys would kill to have banged that many hot girls. Then again, most guys who bang a lot seem to eventually mature and move on to a relationship. I just don't want to have missed out on the part of my life with lots of variety. I also feel like until I've been with a lot of girls, I won't truly kno…

I am super busy as well and have asked a few female friends for their thoughts. Some of them have boyfriends in bands or whatever that take up much of their life and they go with it. They're either in or out. I would also need a woman who could handle me only being free 2 nights/week.

If this is true then I'm not pleased. I'm in my 30's and don't hang out with college kids, yet I want college girls.

I found the answers I was looking for in some articles on Roosh V's website and have decided to invest in an extra 15-20 minutes per day in meeting women, setting a simple goal of at least 1 approach per day. Thanks for nathan, guys!

Why thank you sir, and I concede that there may be exceptions to my rule as there always are.

I wouldn't say it like that. More like a salesman saying, "I'm sorry, we've sold all those models but you might find them down the road..." (or we're regretfully unable to approve your credit) or politely telling a girl if she asks, "I was interested at one point but I've moved on." You know how we have a brief window of time to show our interest and attract a girl before they (almost always permanently) categorize us as "friend material?" We can do that, too. I believe that forever having your …

Seems simple enough. Just say we are dating but nothing serious.

I agree. I have seen a few total nerds who are alpha. They dont fit the typical profile. But they are themselves and OWN their nerdiness. It's hip to be square these days.

I agree. Have you actually observed this being the case in real life? Besides, plenty of guys have read multiple books and still have no game. We are in the information age, no doubt. But paying the price consistently is rare, and that's human nature which ain't gonna change anytime soon.

Struggling with the same issue and slowly growing my friends list in a new town. Some meetups are cool, and they are the first thing people suggest in threads like this. But Meetup groups tend to attract people with 1) one topical interest in common, and 2) no friends either. Best case is people with extensive local networks but then again you meet all kinds of folks when you just get out there and meet people.

Sound advice. I have had to let go of some bros who are so goddamn funny and cool but they just aren't dependable or there for you when you need them.

Personally, I suck at opening/initial convo but once the texting is on, it's on. Plenty of chances for flirtatious one-liners that they tend to love. It stands to reason if your texts are interesting enough they'll want more from the real thing. Fuck playing games. The message is the medium.

Donnie Yen in the movie Ip Man. Incredibly powerful, yet calm, gentle, respectful. And the Buddha for transcending the craving for alpha malehood or aversion to not being enough in the first place. A reminder to just be.

It was not personal but was an unnecessary generalization, imo. Most of us here are grown adults. If your content is good, we'll read it.

Good post but we could have done without the takeaway/ultimatum in the preface that presupposes our virginity.

Sense out her number of partners if you can. More than a couple and your risk grows exponentially and condoms dont prevent quite a few nasty types, plus I don't use dental dams and plan to give oral. There's a strong case for quality, not quantity.

You only need one and keep doing it with each new girl. After coffee, I like a picnic for the second outing.

Lots of PUA guys are into NLP and hypnosis, but personally I prefer good old-fashioned Cognitive Behavioral Therapy exercises, taught by most practicing, licensed therapists to monitor your self-talk and work through emotions and patterns. The other stuff may have a placebo effect but is not as credible or backed by decades of peer reviewed academic research, not anecdotal evidence.

I am at a music conference presently and agree, you should open everyone. I am usually super shy the first day, get rolling the 2nd, and hqve no reservations on the third, personally.

So the moral of the story is that no one cares about each other unless they can get something out of you. Yeah, well FUCK YOU, human race, for being so inherently selfish and pre-historic. I don't deny the practical value of the truths in this article, but it is also a sad commentary on humanity and evidence that we need to collectively evolve. Every person deserves a solid base of respect and value just for being a human--including the elderly, the disabled, those in recovery, or otherwise not …

I am super deadpan and although it fails miserably on the Internet it works great in real life. You can get away with saying some of the craziest things with a straight face and I love the reaction. And when a girl asks you or says I can't tell when you're serious or joking I tell her here's how you know... If it made you laugh I was just joking and if it turns you on I was dead serious baby
